Vanilla Bean: We have literally been sitting here waiting for our food, including our appetizers, for almost a hour. Then when we inquired about our food, she came to our table yelling at us and that wasn’t cool. People looking at us while the waitress was yelling at us too. She claim she was waitressing more tables than everyone else was. But the women sitting next to us had a good waitress. It was a ton of people who came in after us, got their food and left the restaurant.We got tired of waiting and went to the bar to pay for our lemonades. We explain to the bartender that we never received our food not even our appetizers and she replied, Oh well, you should’ve came to tell me maybe I could have done something about it . Now, what could a bartender do about a waitress not bringing our food to our table???Just disappointing our waitress never came back to say oh do you guys need a refill to update us on the status are of our appetizers or our food so we just decided we weren’t going wait for our food any longer because there’s no possible way that other people are walking in after us and leaving and we’re still sitting here waiting for our food.My sister ordered soup. How long does it take for a chef to cook soup?? You don’t have to worry about me I won’t be back and you probably should worry about why you’re on the health department list for not having a clean kitchen✌🏻

Thelast Gryphon: Can't think of a worse place to eat downtown. Not a single a breakfast that doesn't include egg, and although you can makeshift one with the sides options... but you shouldn't have to. Their burgers are dry and have almost no flavor to them and I've only ever heard bad things about the grilled cheese. It's honestly baffling how they're still in business much less how they're busy so frequently. The school cafeteria food is better quality than the stuff they make. I swear they only survive off having cheap coffee and people too busy to eat at the cafeteria.

Matt Dengler: What a great find. Their menu is remarkably varied so whether you want a nice breakfast, a burger, or even gyros. I personally got the gyro and it was one of the best I have had in quite a while. I have grown accustomed to lackluster fries but these were excellent. Fresh tea not bag tea? Oh my goodness! On top of the food the service was excellent. The coworkers were having a great time and it carried over into the other parts of the experience.This is not fine dining but if you are looking for a great place to get diner food please give them a shot.

Jane Whalen: How long does it take 6 people at Sportlite to make one grilled cheese sandwich? 20 minutes, that's how long. I think the Sportlite employees have a personal grudge against me for reasons I do not know. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have ordered my grilled cheese, paid for it, then watched the cooks make food for and serve everyone who ordered after me. The boss, big guy with glasses and a goatee, refuses to make my food every time I order. After about 15 minutes, I go up to the counter and ask why the sandwich hasn't been started. It is at this point that the sandwich is started. The first time they gave me a free apple juice, and this time they gave me a second grilled cheese for free. For some people, this might be a fair trade. But honestly I would rather just have my one grilled cheese within an appropriate amount of time so that I can make it to class, get to the bank, or get on with whatever menial task I have to do. Another thing is the inconsistent pricing: the first few grilled cheeses I got were $2.50 each. Then suddenly it was $2.75. Today it was $2.65. Why? I feel like they pick whatever price they feel like that particular day. You may ask, why do you continue to give Sportlite your business? Why not just boycott? Because I need my monthly grilled cheese and Sportlite is the only place on campus I can get that. They're damn good sandwiches, I would just love it if they could actually make my order when I order it.
