Tris Valentine: The catfish was hard and the ribs were nothing but fat. I ordered a six piece shrimp and they sent me a six piece catfish. The baked beans taste like they poured a whole bottle of honey in that small container of baked beans. The food was so disgusting that I refused to eat it and just threw it away. I ordered from this restaurant for a long time and this is the first time I've been totally disappointed. In order to take pictures I did take one container back of the trash.

Michelle Lomason: The rib tips were very tough and almost impossible to chew. The fries were lukewarm and lacked salt. I thought I’d treat myself as I rarely ever get takeout but it was no treat. I realized you just reopened but that should not be an excuse. It was very disappointing.

And that three meet dinner specials are pretty awesome. I want to give it four stars but.... Customer service and being open has to match up.

If you want great barbeque this is the place. Or it will be the worst you ever had. Its a coin toss. Eather dry leather thats been in the freezer for a week. Or the most juicy succulent in town. Do you gamble?

Deshon Applewhite: The food is good, but the owner needs to improve his people skills! He wants to run a restaurant with a skeleton crew and gets loud and angry with the employees and customers when he gets busy. He talks to patrons as if he is doing them a favor. I was chastised for asking him to add dessert to my dinner as I was paying for it. He yelled that I should have included the dessert when I called in my order, but his online menu doesn't mention dessert at all! This is the first establishment that discourages impulse purchases. Most places are happy to have you spend more money while there. I will go a half mile away and get the same thing without all the attitude!

The BBQ reflects the flavors and recipes of Alabama. The offerings are what you expect and hope to find at a good BBQ joint! The BBQ sauce is flavorful and barely tips toward the sweet sweet side of scale. It is delightful on the pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and ribes. The portions are filling. The side dishes are varied and tasty! My favorite sides are the baked beans and fried okra! They sell their own seasoning mixes for chicken and pork. They have homemade desserts. They have their Alabama "white sauce, as well for purchase.The restaurant is clean and brightly lit with several large windows. Note: they do not have a public restroom.
