Charlie: So tired of these people jacking prices up ridiculously high in the poor/low income areas where they know the people in the community normally don't have cars and means of transportation to get to places such as Kroger's, Meijer, or Walmart and have to shop in walking distance. The food is of usually poor quality and most times expired. These prices are double if not triple the price of other stores. If you can shop elsewhere please do!

One should ask themselves when shopping " why does a local grocery in Flint MI need import meat from Mexico? Because its cheaper (and quality isn't good).It's then sold to the customer for 8 to 10 dollars a pound ( during a pandemic). Its not price gouging, but these bandits are taking the term " charge what the market can bear" to another level. Cheap, bulk bought imported meat, sold to a customer base @ premium meat prices, equals big time more profits for them. Which is all that matters to the owners.Chicken is being sold that is not even fully plucked, all kinds of outdated foods sold for discount... foods that can potentially cause sickness. When you see problems such as these, it makes one wonder what else are they doing that's unethical. Not cleaning properly? Following health dept standards? Who knows. But I wonder. These people care not about the products they are giving to the public.We, the public need to start calling these places out and demand better, go elsewhere. I most definitely am.

Connie Skutnik: The workers at this store are racist. I go in often just a young white woman, and almost every time I have gone thru self checkout or regular checkout, the cashiers are rude and not helpful to me. Yet to the customers with the same skin color, they magically become all friendly and willing to help.

Jennie Harris: Easy in and out store. Have just about anything grocery wise you need, it's a GROCERY STORE after all. Staff is nice. Self checkout is fast and easy. The one hotel that works the self checkout has been there awhile and recognizes me when I go in, so that's nice. They have hot food almost every day too.

Dot Dotty: Previously worked there. They have roaches, the c-19 plastic protection shields at the cash registers constantly break and create safety hazards for customers and employees alike, constant stealing, poor management- they fired all minors for small things so that they could switch to “hiring 18+” only, they mistreat their staff. They don’t have enough workers for most if not all of those reasons above, so they have staff do things that they don’t get paid for. People in deli working the register, cashiers being impromptu courtesy clerks. One cashier they had being a makeshift courtesy clerk, had constant asthma attacks from getting carts and had to be hospitalized almost every time and they still made them go out. Took management about 3-4 times of the employee having an attack before they finally decided they can’t get carts.

The store smells badly they put their old meats in the garbage right next to the store. The owner doesn’t even speak or make you feel comfortable shopping the service desk is ALWAYS closed . 9x out of 10 I wouldn’t recommend.. and it really stinks in there like old mop water & vinegar .. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ let’s not forget they make you feel very uncomfortable with the weird looks and actually nobody helps me when I take my groceries to the car and yes I’m very frustrated because this is supposed to be our neighborhood store in the urban community and when I asked to speak to someone the lady told me she was the supervisor I’ll never buy anything or go back there at all, it’s horrible and I said what I said

Obscurum DeLuna: Very friendly staff, good prices, and a decent selection of many grocery items. No deli, fresh bakery, or free grocery bags. Can buy bags for 10 cents each or there are often free boxes available to put your groceries in.
Nate T: There's some decent prices on stuff their meat I can say is some of the best prices I've seen I will say if you are disabled and use a walker or a wheelchair there is not very easy access as they have the front area blocked off with metal poles so you have to push a cart underneath it and then walk through a turnstile which is not good for somebody like me with a walker
Annette Mayner: Had just what I was looking for ... Meat looked so good I bought a package of thin sliced pork Steaks ... 6 steaks for $5.52. ... Produce looks good, bought some Jalapeños. .. lots of good buys when walking through the store ... will be back for sure .....August 17, 18 ... Came back because everything we are trying we've liked ...The Denver Beef steak turned out so good I went back the next day to get more... 2 huge steaks $6 ... Very happy with the meats ... trying some other items today ...Tried the store version of Strawberry Pop Tarts, my husband didn't realize it wasn't PopTart brand ... He was happy the package had the flavor written on it, then he was saying the entire time that WOW they taste so much better ... I showed him and he said he wants them instead now ... more intense Strawberry flavor ... they are cheaper than name brand too
