F C: Hidden gem in Flint township! Have drove by Lupes a million times while going to work, but have never tried it until recently- and I'd say it's one of the best Mexican restaurants in Genesee County. Chips and salsa are homemade and remind me of Tia Helitas with the orange seasoning salt.Small interior, and no alcohol. Lupes is great for a quick lunch or takeout.

Amy Richardson: My husband and I stopped in Sunday (4/30/23) for lunch around 2 PM and we were sat right away, but it took our waitress around 15 minutes to even come over to our table. Slightly annoying because they weren't that busy, but we were ready to order food and get things moving. Unfortunately, all she did was set down silverware (didn't even ask the drink order) and say "I'll be right back". We then watched her walk a few booths down, and start chatting with her family/friends and playing with who I'm guessing was her 2 year old son. We could hear her asking him multiple times "Come to the bathroom with mommy" and eventually she picked him up and walked him to the bathroom. At this point, we got up and left and went elsewhere. We are patient people, but to expect us to wait over 20 minutes to even order a drink is unacceptable. We go to this location pretty regularly but I don't think we will be back after this.

Alyssa Schulte: The first time I tried El Potrero, I was dining in with my family of 7. Our waitress was horrible, our order was messed up, our food came out randomly, and we had to continually ask our waitress for the same things over and over again over the course of about 2.5 hours- we had a 2 year old and a 4 month old baby with us, and it was not busy at all!After paying our bill we asked to talk to management. The management seemed incredibly nice, apologized profusely, blamed his waitress for being new, then asked for my cell phone number to talk during the week over what his restaurant can improve on (we dined in on a Saturday). I said okay because I had such a horrible experience, the bill was a lot and I sympathize with a business trying to do their best.The manager called me on Tuesday afternoon (we dined in the previous Saturday) and I spent a very long time listing off the things that I experienced there and why they aren't okay in the restaurant industry, so he said he was very sorry, and would love for our family to give his restaurant another chance so he would give us 20% off a pick up or dine in order next time if we just tried it again.2 months later, my same family was visiting and decided we should get a pick up order with this place with the 20% off... so we called, placed our order, I gave my name and number and told them the situation we were returning in. THE SAME MANAGER I talked to in person and on the phone said to us while placing a pick-up order over the phone "that just doesn't sound like me" and "I wouldn't do that!? On a $70 order!? That's over 14 bucks... tell you what, I'll do $10 off."Our original bill at this place was $110, and he offered 20% off our next order, after calling me during the week and talking for over 20 minutes apologetically, then called me a liar when I finally returned with a $70 order 2 months later with my name and phone number for a pick-up order!?I will NEVER take my family to this location again. Our table is easy, GOOD MONEY, we are good tippers, and we live right down the road from this place. We will be taking our Mexican food cravings elsewhere.But hey, thanks for the $14 off our 2nd order- but it wasn't worth all the hard feelings, and the time spent complaining the first time honestly! Or worth our family feeling awful twice over the first horrible dine-in situation we had.

The manager barreled to our table and scolded me in "how" & what I was to order. I didn't (and don't) want what he was demanding that I order. It was belittling and frustrated me. The food is flavorful and plentiful, the price couldn't be beat and every interaction with staff has been enjoyable. I recommend this place to everyone. Thank you!

Shani Harris: Since no option to make a new review. I was in the restaurant this evening 5/5/23. I stood in line about 6- 7 min. Without any acknowledgement from the staff. Granted a couple of workers were making orders. One lady was sweeping the floor ..a couple looked at me and didn't speak just ignored me. Another went in the back and never returned. The lady that was sweeping came where I was in line and swept around me without saying excuse me. Then she came to the counter and was trying to put on gloves(had difficulty opening the gloves). She did not wash her hands after sweeping the floor. I left at that point without ordering. Very disappointing visit.

Paige Badyna: Blain is a joke! The so called manager was rude and did not listen to what I was asking for. Definitely no hospitality or customer service with that guy. I observed he was micromanaging his employees and making them uncomfortable as well as myself. I’ve been loyal to this store for awhile, but I’m not sure about now.Great employees all around other than him. I’m so disappointed with how he talked down to me.

Emily Somerville: Yesterday I picked up dinner from your restaurant. Angela was making my order. She was hustling but had a great attitude! She was very polite and positive. She was working hard while her arm was in a sling!! While her coworkers were not so helpful and several were around on their personal phones. I told her it's hard to come by people hard working and while she had an injury. she made my visit a great experience!

Ashley Bouza: I used to be a Qdoba girl. After many attempts at giving them chance after chance I have finally given up this place has gone so down hill the last couple years. Today I ordered nachos online and when I got my order back to work the bowl was less than a quarter full of ingredients and there was NO queso in the bowl. How do you not put queso in nachos.
