Dave Cammenga: We shopped the Grand Rapids Boat Show for a tritoon in the spring. After talking to everyone who was selling boats we settled on a Barletta from Action Water Sports. We ordered the boat and had to wait.There was an unexpected delay which postponed delivery to after the 4th of July. That was a problem for us because we had a houseful of people headed our way for the week. Without asking, Action offered to bring us a used tritoon which we used that weekend and kept until our boat arrived.When the new boat arrived, there were a couple things from the manufacturer that were not exactly as we had ordered, and Action went above and beyond what I expected to make it right.In terms of the boat, when we transitioned from the used boat (another manufacturer) to the Barletta, we were very pleased. When we switched boats, we definitely noticed less bouncing, less rocking and less vibration. We were told it would be better but expected just a slight improvement. The difference was remarkable. Family members that rode on both boats also commented on the significant improvement. The Barletta is a very well made boat.Big fan of Action Water Sports and Barletta Pontoons.

Bought a used Cobalt first day in the water engine light was off and alarm sounded. They were behind were not able to get it to fix the boat so I had a local guy do it to the tune of over $3,000// When asked for help the basically told me to get lost.This after they had my other boat in their service department for the entire spring summer and most of fall. At the recommendation of a neighbor, I called Action Water Sports. Zach Boone answered and was very helpful. He scheduled the lift to be taken out just a few days later. My thanks to Zach and the barge crew for helping us out so quickly! I plan to do more business with Action Water Sports in the future.

Their prices are reasonable, and should you start off at the 2 hour rate but want to stay longer they will just have you pay the difference between the two rates which is very convenient. I highly recommend stretching and sunscreen though.

There was a conflict with one of the workers but the owner made it right and worked hard to fix it. We greatly appreciate his help with fixing our dock so we can enjoy our boat.UPDATE: I take back my 5 star ratingWell Action Water Sports has had my lift cylinders for my Mastercraft boat life since last October and after attempting to install the lift last Tuesday May 18th and realizing the cylinders weren't repaired, we are now, 10 days later just before a holiday weekend, being notified we need new cylinders and maybe we can find a pair. This is unacceptable and below the credibility and reputation of Action Water Sports. The fact that Action didn't check the cylinders before my scheduled day of install is unprofessional. They also found a crack in a cross member of the lift and said to us "oh yeah, I think I remember that last year and didn't tell you." So we scrambled to find a portable welding service that day to weld the cross member to then find out about the cylinders leaking. There are no words on how disappointing we are in the quality of work performed from Action.Just recieved an email from their Dock and Team Leader, stating that we may not get our lift until after the second week of July, and for Michigan that is pretty much almost the end of the season. He said this because he can't "fit" us in their schedule because of a lack of performance from one of Action WaterSports vendors. This is totally unexceptable and unprofessional to not finish a job you started in a timely matter regardless of who is at fault. We are a customer of Action not the third parter vendor.

ScottandTerry Martin: Completely disappointed with solar powered hydraulic heavy duty boat lift we purchased. Service has been terrible. Lift was never set up level. Every time we try to get situation corrected we incur additional cost.Last year we requested a crew come to remove and reset the lift and it is worse than ever now. We paid for the crew to come and move the lift twice. Still not level. Is there nobody at Action that can set a lift so it is level?This year both of the remote fobs stopped working. They are not in sync with the lift.We should NOT be having this much trpuble with a quality boat lift. Or, is this not a quality boat lift? Or, does Actiin just not care about customer service?Good luck if you are thinking about buying from Action.A Very disappointed customer.

R m: Purchased a 1635 Mahindra tractor from Lynden Sports Center this month. Further more the Young man Luke that handled the the sale from start to finish was exceptional. Glad too see there are American family business's that are setting the standard still. This establishment has a bright future in Luke ! I have sense put 14 hours on this machine, amazed with the performance and ergonomics of this little 36 HP tractor. Had noticed a leak on the hydraulics after a few hours of use. I text Luke on a Monday morning, less than 5 minutes later had a response of " I apologize for the inconvenience and have a technician in route to your house" I was floored. The young man that showed up was professional and knowledgeable on the tractor. In buying a new machine. The hydraulics had never reached full operating tempture. In this a couple lines had too be tightened, as fluid dynamics change when viscosity changes. I've sense put 11 more enjoyable hours on this machine. Can not thank you enough Luke. See you at 50 hours for the first service!

I responded to pictures they had on-line showing an extremely clean 18' boat that they described as "LIKE NEW" and then I spoke to Scott who said the same, everything is in great condition, cushions, canvass, with only 29 hrs on the engine. So after receiving my financing they asked me to close but when I asked for some current pictures of the boat because I learned it had been left outside in the rain all of a sudden it was a horrible boat with lots of damage and missing cushions. DON'T TRUST WHAT THEY SHOW ON-LINE OR TELL YOU!!!

John Evans: I’ve had my Mahindra for a couple of months now and have about 20 hours on it. Bottom line is, I’m having a blast with it. It looks awesome and has a bunch of comfort details which are great but I’m amazed at the pulling power. I have the 2638L and I’m dragging 20’-30’ logs out of the woods. I’ve pull 8 trees out of the ground and dragged them out. I’ve brush hogged 5 acres, moved 20 yards of sand and graded 200 yards of crushed asphalt and the Mahindra walked right through it all. I truly love the commitment this thing has to power. I was not familiar with the Mahindra brand but 30 minutes with Luke at Lynden Sport Center made all the difference. Luke listened to what I needed before telling me about what the tractor could do. He listened and then educated me on all the options. No pressure… just sharing knowledge. After the paperwork was signed and Luke personally delivered the tractor, the Mahindra has been living up to my expectations. I couldn’t be happier or more confident with my new Mahindra or Luke and his team at Lynden Sport Center. Thank you so much

Sandy Cheeks: Went in to browse tractors. We were immediately approached by Luke, he was extremely nice, helpful and happy to answer a million questions. He even worked with us past closing time to make sure we were all set.We purchased the tractor. Now most places after a sale, the service tends to go downhill and tend to pay a customer less attention. Not here! Not Luke! Luke delivered our new tractor all the way to Allegan himself. He then spent time on our property showing us how to operate and everything we needed to know! He even reached out a couple days later asking how things were going and if there was anything else we needed. I was VERY impressed, so much we decided to also buy a couple more implements for the tractor. Luke immediately acquired what we needed, came back out and picked up the tractor to install, and will bring back all finished up.
