Bruce Kraft: Normally the patrons here are wonderful because we all want to watch and enjoy the performances. This time I experienced the person behind me with a plastic water bottle that kept squeezing it and making noise the whole time. Guy this is not a football game. People to the right of us decided to leave early and they actually ran out in the last guy hit me and knock me over. People like that should stay at their football games and be rowdy drink beer swear and run around not at DeVos performance Hall.

Carol Small: Terrific venue! Went with my mom to see Something's Rotten, the show was fabulous, and even in the back rows the sound was great!
Rick Barker: Never disappointed. Actors are extremely talented, and sets are well done. You don't have to go to a big city for outstanding theater with The Civic Theater in Grand Rapids.

The show was called "Once on This Island" and was absolutely beautiful. At the end everyone watching gave the amazing actors, actresses, and crew a standing ovation. Highly recommend to go to a play at the Civic Theater if your in GR or visiting the area and they have a Play going on.

Lee Barker: Had our schools performance here last night. Super clean, loads of space, parking is easy and the BEST part was the sound quality in there. With 400 million kids super excited and thinking there is no ways the PA will be heard... I was wrong, crystal clear and powerful. Brilliant place to listen to music or performance.I have a video on a kid that played the violin over everybody else's voice and it was incredible.Cheers

Patricia Cherpes: I went to watch The Wizard of Oz play performance 🎭 it was performed by Forest Hills Central High School and some elementary children played the part of the Munchkins. It was phenomenal and the faculty itself is handicapped ♿ accessible and equipped.

Joseph Zorwick: Great venue! I broke my ankle a couple weeks prior to Clutch, they provided my group and I to reserved seating on short notice and at no additional cost. Staff and bartenders were great. All in all it was an awesome experience.

Have been to other events here as well and there's some chill spots on the second floor. Have sat in balcony for a show and those were also excellent spots. Not a bad seat in the place.

Ken Boyles: Great venue.
Karl Peterman: Had a multi day conference here that included an exhibitor show, multiple catered meal times, and technical meetings. The facility is very nice and clean. I saw multiple people taking care of the facility throughout the day. The meeting rooms had good sound separation so even with amplified speakers we were not distracted by meetings next door. Whoever was doing coffee and then the food for breaks and lunches did amazing. Good location too with a few different hotels to choose from nearby and the Grand River to watch.

Newman Family Dental: The DeVos Place is the Best Grand Rapids location for seminars and conferences. Not only are the conference accommodations clean and convenient but the catwalk back to the Amway Grand makes this a perfect event location without having to drive back to another hotel.The DeVos Place also has well thought-out acoustics in their various rooms, with larger video displays in some to allow hosting larger dinners / seating arrangements away from the stage. (Check the schedule for the Feb annual car show!) 😁

Heather: Ridiculous utterly appalling how they changed My Fair Lady the classic musical into a parade of something. That I will not publicly type on this review. However when the "Bride" came out that scene alone was disgusting to watch. Please in the long run leave the classics alone how they were portrayed in the beginning. Some musicals are not meant to be changed regardless of the time and "everyone coming out"
