DeVos Performance Hall: what do users think?
Tony Morales: It was a very fine ramp. Nice and smooth, not too steep five stars, would use it again. Highly recommend it.
Michael Pattison: Great place to see some live music. Freindly staff.
David Smith: Great service and great location.
Robin Kennedy: Nice place for a concert, wish there was more besides snacks to purchase!
Matthew Niedner: Great venue with ample seating so variable views and pricing. Good acoustics for a musical. Easy flow of people.
Cate Reed: I've been to 30+ shows here and everything is smooth, the staff welcoming and efficient. I can't recall a negative experience
Rene Smith: Beautiful theater
Liane Pyper: It's a nice enough venue, but I gotta dock points for the unfortunate name.
Nick Grutter: Grand Rapids Opera is always a great time. Giuseppe Verdi - Aida
Pauline Jones: Amazing symphony!
Kari Peterson: Very nice place to watch a musical show and concert too!!!
Rita Kais Graham: Loved the performance “My Fair Lady.” I had never seen it before and they did a great job.
Anna Moyer: I'd be thrilled if they would add a central aisle. It's never gonna happen, but it would be life-enhancing.
Yuri Zhivago: One of the most amazing experiences I have had.
Marge Robyns: This is a great place. We have seen some very nice shows here.
Mary Torres: Great performance tonight!!! 👏
David Jourden: Event Parking under the building is only $10
Timothy Small: Good time.
Jason Bocade: Great venue. Staff was friendly and it was one of the nicest kept theaters I've ever been in.
Bruce Kraft: Normally the patrons here are wonderful because we all want to watch and enjoy the performances. This time I experienced the person behind me with a plastic water bottle that kept squeezing it and making noise the whole time. Guy this is not a football game. People to the right of us decided to leave early and they actually ran out in the last guy hit me and knock me over. People like that should stay at their football games and be rowdy drink beer swear and run around not at DeVos performance Hall.
Tracey Zeerip: I do not normally listen to Free Beer and Hot Wings, but I bought tickets for my husband and daughter for Christmas. She was unable to attend so I went with my husband. The show was hilarious and the venue was intimate, well organized and staff was friendly

The Intersection: what do users think?
Dev Westwood: Good sized building and great security. Great place to attend concerts and know that you're going to be safe and enjoy yourself.
Matt Gonzales: For a small as everyone told me it was, they packed a lot of people inside. Being close to the stage wasn’t hard to do. Surprisingly didn’t go deaf even though I forgot ear plugs.
jeffrey Szyarto: Great concert experience. Its smaller but quite well managed and never felt over crowded or unsafe.
Mark Sidler: Terrible bag/purse policies.
Bam: An absolutely great venue that allows you inside on time and does a good job of telling you what's going on and when. Many venues fail in that aspect and this one succeeds wonderfully.
Jan Hess: Nice place. Very big !!!
Tay Davis: I have never had such an awful experience at a music venue. I’ve been to plenty of concerts, this is the only venue the security managed to ruin the entire concert for me. Upon entry, we were rudely addressed by security. There was no reason, we hadn’t even said a single word to them or done anything.Putting that aside, we went in to enjoy the concert. We saw Avery Anna on a Friday night. She was absolutely great to see perform; we sang along, danced, and had a great time during the concert, which is usually encouraged. While inside the venue, every single interaction with any staff member was awful, with the exception of one of the bartenders. They obviously hate their job and don’t want people to enjoy a concert they paid for. I was previously happy to support this small venue, but honestly don’t think I’ll be back after this.To top it all off, the concert ended pretty suddenly, there wasn’t really an indication that it was the “last song”. That was no problem, except we had just gotten a drink. There was a long line to meet the artist by the merchandise table, so we stood in the corner to finish our drinks for a few minutes. After the concert ended at 10:05, we were told rudely at 10:10 that we needed to finish our drinks and leave, even though pretty much everyone was still inside, standing in line. Even though they were rude, we politely told the security officer that we would, and continued to quickly finish our drinks. No joke, at 10:15, the security officer yells at us and says that we are loitering and that the venue is closed and basically throws us out, because we were not going to buy any merchandise. Meanwhile, the entire concert crowd is still inside, the only difference is that they are waiting in line. We were almost done with our drinks, but literally got kicked out because we did not plan on buying any merchandise, even though we had spent plenty of money on the tickets and during the concert. If a negative interaction might ruin your night, this is not the venue for you. If you like to dance and sing during a concert (reasonably), this is also apparently not the venue for you. Also, if you aren’t going to buy any merchandise after the concert, apparently you need to immediately leave. Again, I will not be back to this venue and will certainly never recommend it, solely due to the rude, power-tripping security staff.
Tina: The staff treat guests horribly, two separate employees on two different occasions went out of their way to be disrespectful and obnoxiously attempted to display their “authority” over myself for no good reason. The entitlement exhibited by the staff made the concert awkward… I did not have a good time because I felt like G.I. JOE was breathing down my neck, pushing the crowd out at his soonest opportunity, desperate for his shift to end. Disappointed, because this is my second negative experience at this venue and I purchased these tickets month ago out of excitement. I don’t ever intend on going back to this venue because I feel like the Secret Service is attempting to patrol the grounds. They better be paying these employees top dollar for the way they’re behaving like little deputies with diapers (especially the check-in lady- give this lady a laptop and she will act like she runs the joint).
Amanda Ennis: Great place and amazing shows every time!!Can't wait to come back !!!Ryan Waters Band
Lu Argue: Great venue great place
Ethan Evans: I saw August Burns Red headline here and it was awesome! Cool venue and facility.
Dillwhop: Friendly staff!
Stephen Smejkal: Saw Pretty Kool and Stryper
Official YoungLink: Great Venue, little stuffy but super fun overall
Jon Bailey: Staff here is extremely condescending and rude.
Andrew Ferris: Great prices. Great artists, we will be back!! Just a heads up though, parking close to the venue is about $20. There is a security checkpoint upon entry and pocket knifes are even taken away although they do give you the option of taking it back to your car. In the venue we went in, it was standing in front of the stage with 3 well stocked bars at each end. There are tables but they have to be reserved before the event to guarantee that you will get one. These were just helpful things that I wish I would’ve known before I went for the first time!
T JB: Good concerts, 80s bands are fun!
Jeremy Rootes: Venue has changed SO much. But I like the changes, and the shows are always a good time
Sky Climbs: Great venue! Great people!
Jessica Billings: Went to my first concert here. The All But 6 Tour. Great stuff!
Jennifer Dibble: Servers unprofessional.

Brian Kryk: Very nice clean venue.
Ben Pant: Pretty nice venue
Crystal Sweet: Great little venue!
Todd Longfield: Very cool place. Staff very friendlyVlutch and Amigo The Devil.Lower mezzanine BB 205
Joseph Zorwick: Great venue! I broke my ankle a couple weeks prior to Clutch, they provided my group and I to reserved seating on short notice and at no additional cost. Staff and bartenders were great. All in all it was an awesome experience.
Todd M: Excellent in and out setup. Good sounds. Parking was easy.
Michael Sherwood: It's always a good time. Great access. Fun. Never seen security in such a good vibe handling crowd surfers at a metal show. Great venue. Good sound but not as loud as I like.
mike gary: Forced to put cash on a prepaid card or you can't buy anything. No merch or refreshments. That was the last time I'll drive 3 hours to your venue. Get bent!!!!!
Troy simmer: Very nice venue. On the smaller side which I personally like. Every seat is a good seat. Staff are nice and professional. Never had any issues here. I've been multiple times and I'm sure I'll be back again.
Jezzie O: Always a blast. Drinks are very pricey. But a great venue.
Duane Perry: This is the place to see concerts. Small venue with big sound... I love it.
shanna jablonski: Can't beat this venue for the atmosphere! Love that no matter where you sit or stand there's not a bad view and I love that I feel like it's my own personal concert or show when I go.
John: Great place to see a live show. Sound was great, and lines for drinks were minimal and moving fast.
Emily M.: Venue is beautiful and very well organized. Staff was friendly, and the bands sounded great. Extra shout out to security who warned us on the rail that it would be extra wild and offered to pull us out if we needed it. They also quickly and efficiently responded to a situation with an especially feral drunk dude.
Erik Mylenek: Amazing venue. Goog sound and you can see great from everywhere.
Jim THORBURN: Great venue
John Arnold: Clean and well managed.
Jon Lee: Impressed with the staff and security here. They worked hard! Great venue! Awesome Beartooth show last night!
Chelsea Kraus: Great smaller venue. Bathrooms upstairs are my only hitch. Arrived an hour early and got in on time and quick. Have been to other events here as well and there's some chill spots on the second floor. Have sat in balcony for a show and those were also excellent spots. Not a bad seat in the place.
Ashlee Ferguson: Another great night spent at 20 Monroe. Great, QUICK bar service with a nice pour. Great comedy show!

St. Cecilia Music Center: what do users think?
Margaret Steketee: superb! Ralston was at his best and most vulnerable, his violinist was the perfect compliment. Loved the storytelling as well.Joshua Davis and his band were sublime. Joshua's skill as a singer song writer were thoughtful and engaging...I will be hoping to see Ralston and Joshua at meijer garden Tuesday nights this season.
Micah Babinski: music 🤠
Vincent St. Germain: Loved it!
Joe Schneider: Acoustics are great! Josh Ritter was amazing!
Sally Scripps: Love this venue and the acts they highlight.
Will Bloomfield: Beautiful and intimate venue for live music. Attended a concert by the incomparable Chris Thile. He even walked in front of the mic and played a few songs without any amplification. A special experience that was allowed by the acoustics is the room. Reception and free drinks afterwards was a nice touch.
Mr. Just Ryan: Beautiful place! Great acoustics and comfortable seating is a real pleasure. The only downside is the insufficient parking. Beyond that, worth the visit.
Rebecca Carrier: Wonderful acoustics for musical performances. Great seating, including upgrades to the cushions be and the size.
Joe Karns: Cool place to see a show
Carol D: Beautiful auditorium with marvelous acoustics. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. I attend every concert I can. Great variety, value and the concertgoers are dedicated music lovers!
Steven Lane: GRCC music ensemble - incredible sound. St Cecilia -beautiful location.
Sean Campbell ن: Normal people not allowed.
Robert Nichols: Great venue for a concert! Judy Collins was fantastic!
Kathren Ayers (Kat): Acoustics are wonderful. Nice little gem of an auditorium! Seen May Erlewine was a really good concert!
Derek Ketchum: An incredible and very intimate theater for music. Great variety of touring artists from folk/americana/jazz/classical
Leonor Conti: trabajo en grand rapids MI voy a hacer un tejabancitodesde aca de hermosio sonora
Gavin Luter: There was a bad snowstorm, which prevented me from being able to attend the show. I contacted the Center to discuss a refund or a credit. I tried to call customer service and could not get anyone on the phone for 2 days. I left a message and only got a return call after a week. The denied me any recourse. They told me that my money would simply be converted into a donation. For people who claim to be about the arts, which should be about advancing compassion, I was surprised that they weren't willing to work with me. So, for me, they score very low on Customer Service. That's why I will never attend a music event at this venue, even if it's an act I want to see. I'll go elsewhere. It's a real shame. I was looking forward to going.
Candice Fleszar-Smith: This gorgeous, historic music center has potential for many of my #DiscoveryMichigan customized group experiences. #CityTour #ArtTours #HistoryTour #GhostTours #MusicTour #GrandRapids #EduTours. I explored all the way up through the haunted rafters to the roof, where there is a fantastic view! (See Discovery Michigan Facebook page for pics.)
Eddie Carmona: What an amazing place to have a wedding! Carla was great to work with. She made planning a wedding as painless as possible. I love the fact that we were able to have our ceremony and reception at the same location. Our friends and family were amazed by the venue!
Alex Trautman: I need to get this warning out there. I am a bigger guy, no doubt. 6'7" 440lbs. I went here and I think even if I had been as thin as a rail my legs would not have fit in any row but the front. The place looks great and I'm sure it sounds amazing, but be warned if you are larger and are looking to go here.Edit after response from owner:The ushers attempted to help me by putting me in what looked to be a single, very old, handicap chair to the side that I was worried I may break if I sat in it for too long, and that also didn't help my wife who had the same issues as me.
Jeff “Viking” S: Very beautiful facility for a wedding.

Listening Room: what do users think?
jim: Lovely just lovel.berny said the hole was his favrite drink, was loksnb s. Will be coming back! My son was likfeyz sj, zzz
Michelle: Nice!
Grace Lopez: Amazing intimate venue.
Anna Walz: The venue is pretty sweet for a small, intimate experience, but it was horrible for watching Pop Scholars, a four person improv group that we LOVE. The only good seats are in the middle, otherwise you can't see any facial expressions or body movements from the comedians, which really deters from the experience. If you are on the extreme side, most of the time you a staring at someone's back (a comedian). Great venue but just not conducive to our fav show. Oh, and we got there a half hour early, fyi. Obviously not enough time.
Kendrah Van Dyken: We were charged 100 dollars and we had 4 drinks which should have been 60.72 with taxes and tip. Super disappointed. I dont like to write bad reviews but we got ripped off which is super unprofessional. We wont be paying with a card at this establishment ever again. We will continue to go for the Comedians but if they dont want me to pay cash they aren’t getting any extra business from us. They dont even give you a receipt. Im guessing so you cant complain about being ripped off. 👎Also you cant go to the bar for drinks. You have to sit with a empty drink for half the show until your server gets to you. I recommend more staff for better service.
Nicki Hickerson: Drove 2 hours for a comedy show here and was informed that it was canceled and they couldn't give me my money back and they were no longer affiliated with the people that were running the comedy show, definitely don't recommend spending your money on any shows as it is obviously unreliable
Cassie Mae: An amazing experience with an amazing staff that helped with anything we needed. Plus the sound there is AMAZING! 🤯
Jenni Aiello: Had to wait over an hour to get served a drink while the waitress got drink refills for other rows of customers. We tried to get our own at the bar, but we were told that we had to wait for the waitress. Really disappointed ☹️
Terrell Russell: I like it cool room. I go there for the comedy shows they have here. Only thing that I don't like about this place is that the drink selection for beer atleast is slim to none. For being in beer city that should even be a question. Start stocking some popular beers around town guys!
Amanda Contreras: Very intimate venue. Excellent service. Heard good feedback from the musicians about the venue being really focused on quality musical experiences. I will definitely be back.
Larry Edwards: Here to listen to the Moxie Strings! Nice place!
Joseph Curtis: Good venue
standard spence: This was a first for me. It's a movie theater and comedy room on the second floor. Go earlier than expected just to make sure you knkw where to go and park.
Maris Myers: Great experience
Scott A. Vogel: First time attending a show. Great atmosphere, service and the drink prices are reasonable. Definitely will be back in the future.
patricia montgomery: It was great, place to do a photoshoot for the jazz band,Big fun. Will definitely be back.
Kylyn Cleveland: Spectacular sound, intimate setting, great vibe!
Jamie Geysbeek: You won't find a better place to hear live music in Grand Rapids - amazing atmosphere, acoustics and staff!
nick auwerda: Very nice venue. It’s a small and intimate place. Has a bar. My only criticism is that if you don’t know that’s part of studio park celebration cinema you’ll have a hard time finding it.
Chris Penney: Terrible experience. Would never ever go again or recommend this place.
Ralph Hall: Great sound. Not a bad seat in the house. Great live music.

Candice Fleszar-Smith: Gorgeous 1930s facade saved when the Civic Auditorium was demolished to build DeVos Place Convention Center. The Civic Auditorium was considered a great move by the #GrandRapids Mayor Welsh, who approved the project hoping to out the unemployed to work during the depression. I love sharing this building's history during a #ToursAroundMichigan #CityTour #HistoryTour #ArchitectureTour#DiscoveryMichigan #CustomizedTour #GroupTours

Broadway Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Lucy Lou: Keep in mind you cannot be LGBQT . Only for white straight *christian people.
Natalie P: Anti-LGBTQ venue. Book accordingly.
Greg Smolka: Broadway Grand Rapids does a great job. I’ve been blown away by every performance I’ve seen there. There isn’t a bad seat at The DeVos Performane Hall. Highly recommended!
Michael Jackson: Nope.
Dave Hosfelt: Incredibly irresponsible to continue with shows this weekend given the current climate in our Country and this State as it relates to mass gatherings. This total disregard of the warnings given by health professionals and government leaders reeks of a money grab. I'm terribly disappointed and Broadway Grand Rapids should be ashamed.
Edwardo Fuentes: Thank you to all who was part of the Hamilton release day of tickets. We were greeted an hour sale to a warm area of DeVos place. Plenty of coffee, doughnuts and bathrooms with tables and sitting area's. Very organized and well communicated. fair setup avoiding any confusion or anxiety. All these Kept the crowd calm and polite.
Bob Stark: A community jewel and just hitting their stride.Awesome presentations in the rest of the season.
Mike Koelzer: Lady on the phone was really rude when we were trying to sort out some tickets. Left bad taste in our mouth.
thomas ralston: Hamilton this season!
Lorraine Couch: I loved a lot of the show's they've bought here.
Dan Frank: Very helpful staff!
Bob Funaro: Best shows!comfortable environment..tk
Holly Bartman: There is not a bad seat in the house. You can see the stage perfectly from any seat. Small theater with great performances. Even if you don't like ballet if you go to a show you'll change your mind.
Sherry Bloomquist: Always a great experience
Blake Hayes: My wife asked me for a divorce here
Kathy Plescher: So thrilled I could get season tickets this year! Finding Neverland was amazing, and I cant wait to see more! The office staff is very friendly and helpful!
Judy North: They bring wonderful productions for us to see.
Greg Hoezee: Always great shows
Wm A. (DeMyztikX): I've been to a couple Broadway Grand Rapids shows now, they're pricy, but worth it.
Kieran Smith: I LOVE that these folks bring in to notch shows to our community!
Jacqueline Peacock: Friendly and efficient- if you can go in person, it's a much better experience to buy tickets here versus online.
