Matt Busman: I am writing on behalf of my wife's experience today. She was interested in test driving 3 different vehicles, but was given the impression that she was wasting the salesman's time after test driving one of the 3 vehicles. "Why should we drive the next one if you will not purchase it". She was treated like she was some dumb blonde that didn't know anything about cars. On the test drive, the salesman was surprised that she wanted to test the vehicle on the highway. In her words, she felt like she was treated like a child. Will not recommend MWS to anyone searching for a vehicle.

Courtney Phut: This place is a scam. They mask over issues with vehicles and sell them knowing they are junk. Then tell you there's nothing they can do, that you bought it as is. Scam, scam scam
jeffrey thrasher: THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD AND A SCAM!!! Had to give a 1 star. They don't know anything about the vehicles they sell, nor do they inspect them before selling them. Purchased a 2013 jeep only to find that the headlights didn't even work, 2 days and 60 miles later, a check engine light came on. Hooked it up to a scanner only to find that it had 9 sensor codes. Then a service ABS code popped up. When I called, I was told they wouldn't do anything till after 30 days for their warranty to kick in. This is all stuff that should have been taken care of prior to selling the vehicle. Yet it looks like all their so called mechanics did was clear the codes and push this hunk of junk out the door. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. Marty was decent tho to deal with. Best advice I could give him is go to a decent dealership. This place will just ruin your reputation Marty.

Helen Lambert: Seniors should made aware of their sales tactics, asked for car fax numerous times, 5 and finally got it after I signed the papers. 9/23/2022 was a bad deal, dont go to their tent sales no vehicle has prices I have had good deals in my lifetime but this was not one of them. $6,000.00 bad deal and over my monthly amount I told them numerous times $300.00 or under. Four thumbs down.
Ja'Zha Parnell: I am a female that went by herself. One of the representative tried to take advantage of that scenario and was proven wrong. He tried to get me to sign a life death agreement. Consist of $830 car note for a 2019 Jeep Compass. He tried to gaslighting me into making me feel that I didn't make enough money or had a good enough credit score. Went to a better and bigger dealership and received a better and newer car.

Michael Kensington: Just went and got my Fiancé a 2011 Totoya Rav4. The owner at the dealership helped us out personally to get into the vehicle with our trade in and down payment. Scott the car salesman from Illinois was amazing guy that helped us get what we wanted through the grace of God. I would totally recommend this dealer 100%. Great people who really care about getting you into a great vehicle truly the grace of God.
Keith Pawloski: Had to give one star to post a review, they didn't earn that star. Financed $20,000 for a truck with a drivetrain warranty in November of 2022. In January of 2023 the rear end locked up ripping the driveshaft out and broke the transfer case. Over $5000 to have repairs done by a licensed mechanic as required to have warranty coverage, and I am stuck with the bill. Still have vibration in the drivetrain so I inspected myself because I didn't want to try to use my warranty again and get stuck with another bill. I found a junkyard front axle in the truck. These people are con-artists they will pretend to be there for you until they have your money. I would not suggest doing business here.
Adan Pena: Was just wanting to look at two cars they had online. Credit not good, but figured something around 5000. Chris worked his magic, even after I got frustrated and got up to walk out. He stated, " your leaving with a car, just bear with me". Sure enough, got the car I really wanted but didn't think I could get. Wasn't even thinking I'd get anything. Definitely, plan on going back when time for a second car.

Isaac Covarrubias: Made a deal with the owner about a truck and they sold it after the deal, and the second time they were supposed to call me after getting a key made for the truck, and never heard from them stop by and the truck is no longer available.

Dave and his team have always given me honest advice, great service and fair prices. They even have loaners or are willing to offer you a ride if a loaner isn't available.
Mike Michaels: This review is after a few years of ownership. Do not buy from these guys unless you can take the car to an independant mechanic for an inspection. Bought a money pit SUV with something breaking once a month on average. Most their vehicles are auction vehicles from Canada which are known to be super rusty. Will not be buying again and would not recommend.

I decided to trace the pictures and every picture was stolen from rk motors charlotte, if you zoom into the license plates of the cars and trucks on the fake website "grand rapids auto sales" you'll notice they are photoshopped to hide it. I even contacted a business next to the address shown to confirm, and the business told me the one next to them "grand rapids auto sales" is a fake company. Do not trust them and don't fall for their lies, and if you call you'll notice that "Lucas" is the only one answering the calls. FAKE!!! This guy tried to scam a friend and is not worth anyone's time.

Nickolas Lewis: I bought a vehicle from them almost 9 months ago in that 9 months it has been in the auto shop 7 times. This last time they finally had to remove the entire engine block only to find out that Select Auto sold me a vehicle with a totaled motor, there is no way they did not know about the issues the vehicle had seeing is the brother told me personally that he had been driving the car for 2 weeks himself. If your a first time buyer like I was all I can say is to please stay far away from him an his brother. They own more then just Select Auto so please do your due diligence before purchasing. I am filing a civil suit I have others that want to be a part of it. If you have documentation showing all the issues and work done after purchasing from Select Auto and you want to do everything in your power to keep others from making the mistake we did. LMK

Alex Anguiano: I thought this was a nice place to get a car, I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee last month, ever since then I’ve had nothing but problems with it, the car was cleared of codes the first day I bought it, 2 days after the purchase, engine light came on, tire pressure came in blinking, my car starting shaking very roughly and the electric throttle control light came on and stopped the car while accelerating…On top of that they give you a no warranty for 30 after purchasing the vehicle for i don’t know what reason if every dealership gives you the first 30 days to bring back the car if anything happens to it. They said that whatever happens to the car before 30 days then it’s on me to pay for repairs, and I’m not gonna let my car sit here any longer and let more parts of it go to waste. Service was nice and all but I’d rather them be more honest professionals, this is my only car and now I can’t even drive it without it stopping me in the middle of the road

Unfortunately the staff were pretty rude and even though they did act like they would help me they tried to tell me my credit score was way lower than it actually was, and tried to get me into a outrageous payment and we’re going to force me to get there warranty! After spending two nights and a tank of gas going there they put me in a vehicle to test drive and my mechanic found that the vehicle was already falling apart and needed work. After they wasted my time I decided to check out Good Motor Company and they helped me get into my Jeep and got me into a payment I can afford.

Gerrod White: Bought a lemon 2012 A5 and drove it for a week before it died. There are too many problems with the car to list. Ed Grigsby: Saw a truck online at Marv Shooks Auto. Decided to check it out. I didn't expect much, but was I WRONG! The truck was as described on-line, there was no over inflated description here. I entered the small, but clean sales floor. Ben greeted me with a genuine warm smile, and a " how are you doing". We walked over to the truck and during the typical tire kicking examination, I determined that Ben was a dying breed in the used market. I was treated to, and with, HONESTY, respect, and I could tell, the was absolutely NO deceit from Ben. After the test drive any and all questions or concerns were answered, even to the point of talking with the mechanic who works for him. Martin is very knowledgeable and again is genuine and tells the truth!Your probably never going to find a Lamborghini on his lot, but you WILL find really great vehicles at FAIR prices and mechanical sound. His prices are definitely fair and lower then most. ( so please don't try to low ball him. He has bills to pay too!)I STRONGLY recommend shopping at Shooks! You won't drive away hoping you made a good decision. You will drive away in a new ride KNOWING you got a really great vehicles, at a super value. Thanks Ben,( and Martin) you truly made a normally stressful situation, easy, and eliminated all worries. We drove home in our new truck and smiled all the way!

John Verzi: Would not work with me. Claimed just sold the car I wanted. Though was still on the lot. Also it is still listed on their page for sale. Tried to see if I was interested in financing a 12k or 16k car instead of the 5k car that I wanted. They will try to get you to fiancee something on the higher end or way above what you say your budget is and if you won't then nope. However I will also say there is almost no inventory under 12k. And they want you to finance on a 16k car that if you bought from private party only cost 9 k. Yes they use car fax estimate and are close but we also know those numbers aren't realistic. That's like the dealer selling the new car for msrp of 25k when your friend with a dealer license sells the exact same car for 18k and still makes a profit. Anyways all cars are priced about 2k to 5k above their true worth. Highly annoyed with these scammers. But they didn't get me.and yes they lie straight to your face. as to their response: lol been here before similar a few years ago (they just don't remember). If you choose to go there beware. And that car or it's twin was still there a few days later. Also I ended up getting the same make model car for 1500 instead of 5000. The one I bought off an individual I little more rust. So glad they didn't want to work with me 🤣😊

Katia Lobopaz: Dealership is a scam they have horrible mechanics that only rig a temporary fix of what is wrong the car I recently purchase a 2016 ATS Cadillac 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder and was promised everything is new and good to go and ever since i started driving it more frequently for about a month now in one week the engine light will come on and off , brakes were already rust and needed a change for the front and back, suspension needs to get replace bc the car is not leveled correctly, the coolant hose already blown out and they used a silicone or some gummy substance to hold but it melted which caused a leak. My boyfriend notice that key wasn’t its original brand and didn’t have a spoiler and that’s my fault for not noticing that and when you reverse the vehicle sound like something is getting dragged my boyfriend and I already spent about 700 dollars in repairs and there’s still more minor issues that happen to pop up. I’m lucky I have people that would fix the car at a great deal while motor mall will try offer you the fix and charge you about 5 times the cost after you purchase it. I recommend bring a friend or someone who knows about car in order to deduct the price and make them fix it and have them show you proof what was fixed and by who bc they’ll make you sign no warranty so you don’t sue them and they’ll be able to charge you more after for any fixes

One came from another dealership and was one of the worst experiences of my life so going into this dealership I was guarded and skeptical. It turned out to be an extremely easy process and the best experience I've ever had buying a car. Joel was fantastic from start to finish. The car was purchased on a Friday and I chose an interior protection package that needed to be applied and it was ready the next morning. I had also chosen another package that required and install. The car was dropped off first thing in the morning, my girlfriend was brought to work, and Joel dropped the car back off to her at her work. Fantastic customer service and everything was seamless from start to finish. If you're in the market for a new to you car, definitely go see Joel and let he and the team take care of you.

Jay McGee: So in November of 2021 I started looking for a car to purchase and I had a few on my list. One of which was a 2016 Chevy Malibu. I contacted Berger in regards to a car that they had in stock via email, and received a reply very quickly saying that they had two in stock and one that was being shipped to the dealership very soon. Each of the cars were supposed to be a midnight blue color, and I was excited. I tried to set up a time to do a test drive and was paired with a rep named Martin Rudolph. Martin told me that the other two Malibu's weren't ready despite the previous rep telling me they were and that I could test drive them. And he repeatedly came up with excuses. Now my full first name is of a particular background from Africa, and at a certain point I had to ask myself if it was due to that despite the Martin guy never having meet me. The only other possible issue it could have been was the fact that I was pre-approved for a loan through a company he didn't want to use. In either case the experience was horrible, a repeated waste of my time as I tried to work this out with the guy for weeks. And to this day it still leaves me sour.In the end I went to Harvey Automotive and found the car that I wanted. The dealers at Harvey were very happy to work with me. I got a Hyundai Sonata for the same price with under half the mileage that was on the Malibu. Great team over there and Joel Ezinga was awesome to work with. They made everything so easy. I got my vehicle with in a day or two of contacting them. It was a light and day difference and probably one of the best car buying experiences that I have had.

I got a call an hour later, approved at a great rate and they found 5 different trucks for me to look at. I picked one, they weren’t happy with the tires as it was a 2016 but still low miles so they called and explained the situation. I was waiting for them to tell me I needed to buy new tires, instead they told me they ordered a new set at no extra charge. It went through a complete inspection, they detailed it and I am extremely happy with my new truck. I call it Babe the Blue Ox ala Paul Bunyan. It’s big, bad and a rockin’ blue! A great experience start to finish from Harvey Automotive!
