Had no idea how many owners, accidents or last time fluids were checked or oil change done. Told me anything that was wrong with the van that it was fixed. A/C didn't work took it in to them twice said line had a whole and was replaced not true at all.

I paid $6,500 after taxes and fees for a solid van, WAY less than what i would've paid at a dealership, but the weather got hot suddenly, and I discovered the ac didn't work. I showed back up and Terry pulled his mechanic off what he was doing immediately, and had him recharge the ac. Terry then told me to let him know if that didn't work, and they'd find what was wrong and fix it.Sure enough, the next day all the refrigerant had leaked out and the ac didn't work again. Terry had me bring it back and said his mechanic would push everything else out of the way and try and fix it the same day. So I brought it back in, and they had it fixed by mid afternoon.What impressed me so much was that Terry COULD HAVE chosen to hide behind the bold-printed 'as is' sales contract and just told me to take a hike, but he didn't. And he never charged me one cent for the repair, even though replacing a condenser is easily a $300 job on the cheap end.Also, I noticed that the van was having some trouble idling after a trip on the highway. Again my fault for not checking it more thoroughly before buying it, but Terry told me they'd be able to fix it if it threw a code. I've already pinpointed the problem - needs a new egr valve and tube - and I'll be replacing it myself, but I know that Terry would honor his word if I asked him.Another thing I should point out is that Terry responded honestly to every single Google review, and his dealership has no complaints registered with the BBB as of a week and a half ago when I checked.The last thing that impressed me was that even when I was looking at the 4 vehicles I was interested in, whenever I mentioned to Terry anything that I found that wasn't working (e.g. low washer fluid, engine rumblings when idle, etc) he would immediately send his mechanic Thomas out to check the vehicle.I appreciate the opportunity to do business with an honest man, and my family and I will DEFINITELY be returning to Southern Auto in the future!

Scott Jackson: A joke of an establishment. Came ready with cash for a vehicle they had posted, and they were close multiple times that we tried to come during their posted business hours. Tried calling during business hours as well and no answer. Dodged a bullet it seems, as I wouldn’t buy a vehicle from a business knowing they don’t have any pride or seriousness in what they do like I know now.

He told me to bring it back up and his worker restarted the computer and a few day's later it was back on. I got spent after that when I called til i had to take it to a real shop. I wouldn't recommend my enemy if i had one to get anything from there. I paid over two hundred dollars for new brake line to be ran from front to back and I looked up under the truck to see that it was a connector they put on it. Savage cars he put a new door, hood or whatever just to make another person deal with the aftermath. Don't do it is my honest choice of word's when dealing with him.

Jay McGee: So in November of 2021 I started looking for a car to purchase and I had a few on my list. One of which was a 2016 Chevy Malibu. I contacted Berger in regards to a car that they had in stock via email, and received a reply very quickly saying that they had two in stock and one that was being shipped to the dealership very soon. Each of the cars were supposed to be a midnight blue color, and I was excited. I tried to set up a time to do a test drive and was paired with a rep named Martin Rudolph. Martin told me that the other two Malibu's weren't ready despite the previous rep telling me they were and that I could test drive them. And he repeatedly came up with excuses. Now my full first name is of a particular background from Africa, and at a certain point I had to ask myself if it was due to that despite the Martin guy never having meet me. The only other possible issue it could have been was the fact that I was pre-approved for a loan through a company he didn't want to use. In either case the experience was horrible, a repeated waste of my time as I tried to work this out with the guy for weeks. And to this day it still leaves me sour.In the end I went to Harvey Automotive and found the car that I wanted. The dealers at Harvey were very happy to work with me. I got a Hyundai Sonata for the same price with under half the mileage that was on the Malibu. Great team over there and Joel Ezinga was awesome to work with. They made everything so easy. I got my vehicle with in a day or two of contacting them. It was a light and day difference and probably one of the best car buying experiences that I have had.

I got a call an hour later, approved at a great rate and they found 5 different trucks for me to look at. I picked one, they weren’t happy with the tires as it was a 2016 but still low miles so they called and explained the situation. I was waiting for them to tell me I needed to buy new tires, instead they told me they ordered a new set at no extra charge. It went through a complete inspection, they detailed it and I am extremely happy with my new truck. I call it Babe the Blue Ox ala Paul Bunyan. It’s big, bad and a rockin’ blue! A great experience start to finish from Harvey Automotive!

Katia Lobopaz: Dealership is a scam they have horrible mechanics that only rig a temporary fix of what is wrong the car I recently purchase a 2016 ATS Cadillac 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder and was promised everything is new and good to go and ever since i started driving it more frequently for about a month now in one week the engine light will come on and off , brakes were already rust and needed a change for the front and back, suspension needs to get replace bc the car is not leveled correctly, the coolant hose already blown out and they used a silicone or some gummy substance to hold but it melted which caused a leak. My boyfriend notice that key wasn’t its original brand and didn’t have a spoiler and that’s my fault for not noticing that and when you reverse the vehicle sound like something is getting dragged my boyfriend and I already spent about 700 dollars in repairs and there’s still more minor issues that happen to pop up. I’m lucky I have people that would fix the car at a great deal while motor mall will try offer you the fix and charge you about 5 times the cost after you purchase it. I recommend bring a friend or someone who knows about car in order to deduct the price and make them fix it and have them show you proof what was fixed and by who bc they’ll make you sign no warranty so you don’t sue them and they’ll be able to charge you more after for any fixes
