Dreamer RT 21: I was in Grand Rapids for a two-day conference and found this lively spot after doing the standard "restaurants near me" Google search. Man, what a find!The atmosphere was electric and the place was bustling with activity. There was a violinist and a bassist playing music to add to the ambiance. Debbie was my waitress and she was amazing and attentive but not overly so.I had the pear and blue cheese salad and would drive 2 and half hours across the state just to go back for that alone! The lemon cake was amazeballs as well. I chose the asparagus risotto for my entrée and the flavor was off the charts.All in all, it was a fun and fantastic evening and the perfect escape from the boredom and sterility that usually accompany conferences when you're on the road alone.Highly recommend!

Barry Weinstein: I have a wonderful meal with glorious flavor. The staff was wonderful and our server was attentive. I was there with a group of people and everybody seemed to enjoy their meal. Bellissimo Bellissimo: We dined in there on our anniversary night. This is indeed a hidden gem on 28 th street if you want to spend some cozy and quality time with your loved ones or special one. We enjoyed the food, ambience and the service. One star down only because I found the menu is not having wide variety but might be the case that chef just wanted to keep those items which will speak about distinguished French cuisine. This restaurant can be bit pricey to few but if you want to try something different and want to celebrate special occasions then you must try this out. They also have a decent party hall kind of area if you wish to invite few more people.I am planning to come back again.
Heather Morrison: So good! Everything about this place is great!We showed up on a Saturday with no reservations and scored their last open table (lucky for us)! Our waitress immediately stopped by to take our drink orders and was kind and attentive all evening. Always showing up before we needed her but not checking in too often.The food was amazing! This time, we both ordered options off the weekly special menu and we were not disappointed. We have been a couple of times and this is always the case.Parking: Large, free parking lot. You may have to walk a little ways, but you will easily find somewhere to park.

c collins: Good service. Nice ambiance. However, the inaccurate listing of prices online is greatly misleading and leaves a bad taste. Prices are 80-100% higher in the restaurant than on their website. Steak listed $28, charged $52. Risotto $16/charged $25. Coq au vin $17/ charged $30 - and so on. Asparagus risotto had no taste despite adding pepper and salt, it was nothing more than a bowl of bland risotto. Terribly overpriced. Disappointing. Not a French restaurant at all. No espresso machine to order cappuccino or espresso.

Steven Castle: Speaking for only the two dishes I ordered:The French Onion Soup was really quite flavorful and had a nice deep broth. Piping hot! Just as it should be.The Papperdelle was wonderful and reminded me that americanized wine sauces are often too aggressive. This sauce had a full profile and as I left the establishment I had the luxuriously soft and buttery after taste playing in my tongue.I would eat here again, and as I’m in town for another day, I will eat here tomorrow.

Ruth Chaffee: Nothing like real Southwest food. Service was also terrible. My waitress took my appetizer and drink order and never came back to check on me or even take my dinner entree order. Margarita was too sugary, too much margarita mix.

L W: We are happy with our choice to try Sundance Grill and Bar for dinner last night. We chose to sit outside and that did not disappoint! We tried the mimosa flight and they were tasty. The wet burrito and breakfast quesidilla were also good choices.
Bev & Jim Farrell: With reservations at 5:30 on a Tuesday night, we're seated right away and then waited almost 1.5 hours for our tacos ( at least 15 min for drinks alone with next to no one at the bar). Restaurant was severely understaffed for a night when the theater was running. Staff was doing the best they could. Management issue. Food was ok - but had to eat in 10 min due to unbelievably long wait in order to make our show. Have eaten at other Sundance Grill locations where food was very good and service excellent. Would not recommend going here before a show - even if you make reservations. Big disappointment...

Lilly Baker: I've been here both for weekend brunch and weekday lunch and have really enjoyed it both times. They had some good brunch drinks and I really like the hatch chili skillet with scrambled eggs. It's pretty reasonable priced and they have a pretty large space. The weekday lunch was pretty empty, but for weekend brunch it was pretty busy, so you might have to wait a little bit for a table.

Tessa Maddox: We got breakfast here one morning, and it was so yummy that we went back the next morning! I got the huevos wet burrito and the next time the breakfast quesadilla. I can't decide which I liked better! The portions are pretty large, you definitely get what you pay for and more. We will definitely return if we come back to Grand Rapids.

Hayden Leggo: It was a great atmosphere, I felt like I was in a 70s basement. The food was good and came out in a timely matter, but nothing to write home about. The reason I give two stars is because of our server. Very passive aggressive and not very friendly. Instead of handling a misunderstanding, she made a rude remark towards my friend, and blatantly talked down her intelligence. My entire party was flabbergasted. Most of my party being in customer service jobs we would never think to treat a customer like she did. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time.

CC: The atmosphere is perfect - it’s dark and intimate, with a fun 70s vibe, and good music. There aren’t too many places in town that offer a dark atmosphere with good vibes for date night, this place is ideal. The drinks were strong and food was pretty good. We thought the burger was good, chicken sandwich was better, the fries were ok. The service was amazing. Our wait staff was very responsive and quick to bring out anything we needed and more. All in all the food was ok (there’s better places to get a burger in the area) but we will definitely be back for the atmosphere and vibes (those are unmatched)!Update: this place is also a great brunch spot! Only comment is the wedge salad is on the small side and may not fill you up for a meal. I’d still get it again though.
