Rocket Fizz Kalamazoo: The Aroma Labs is such a fun place! It seems like it should be hard to create a scent but Tanya and her team make it easy and entertaining. So many options for ways to smell good!3 visits in and I’d still go back!! Took family including 7 year old niece, held a book club gathering there and had a great night with mom and daughter. Everyone loves it (even smelly boys!!) 🤣Don’t question if you should visit, you should!!

Alan Blum: This was a great place to come for a wedding date! It's the week of our wedding, and we wanted to do something special as a date idea. We created custom wedding cologne and perfume for the big day. Ashley is so kind and helpful, and even though we took forever to pick our scents, she was patient with us and was just awesome throughout the whole experience! Love this place!

Alex Tuttle: This place is literally amazing! Ashley was Fantastic!!! She helped so much and I was able to find my summer smell! I can’t recommend this place enough. It was just a fun thing to do and it wasn’t too expensive and if you want a really good smell I suggest beach bonfire, mandarin, Madagascar and oud.

Kyle Schwerin: I went here as part of a birthday present for my wife, and we brought another couple along as well, and it was very fun, even if you don't have a refined nose lol. There's no pressure to buy anything, which is great, but you'll probably want to buy at least SOMETHING that you make by the end of it. You get to smell a whole bunch of individual fragrances, and then mix them together on different testing sticks, see what you like the most, and then pick a product you might want to have made with the fragrances you made. Whether it be hand soap, shower gel, perfume, a car air freshener, etc. And it is made right there in the store for you, and that's what you pay for. The person running the experience was very fun and informative and didn't pressure us in to anything. It was great, even if I just made 5 fragrances that all smelled the same to me lol.

My baby dropped his paci and one of the ladies picked it up and washed it off for us. Then my husband mentioned our stroller had a bad squeak and we needed to get wd40 and the other lady went and got some from the back for us. Not to mention showing me all the products for stretch marks! I so appreciate these ladies, I’ve worked in customer service for years and always appreciate such great workmanship!

D T: I was having a tough day, just dropped my daughter off at an extremely difficult exam after we had found out 15 minutes earlier that her father-in-law had just passed away. Shed a few tears and went to the mall to spend some time while I waited the 4 hours. Went into my favorite store, LUSH, and was greeted by Gretchen who could see I was was stressed and upset. She was so sweet and helpful without being pushy. She listened, suggested products and even made me laugh. Emily at the register was equally nice and helpful. While I love Lush products and visit this store whenever I’m in town, it’s these two employees who made the experience so wonderful. This is the first review I have ever written on any store and I just wanted those two to know they made my day. Please people a little kindness can change someone’s day, be kind like Gretchen and Emily! Thanks ladies 🙂

Just Me: My daughter wanted to check out Lush as we were walking by so we just had to take the time to check the store out. One of the employees that we were talking with was beyond helpful & amazing. I asked if there was a brochure of some kind or something that lists the products & all that entails which sadly there wasn't. The employee (sorry I had forgotten your name)was very informative & had given us each a sample to walk off with eventhough we didn't purchase anything. The employee did mention about going to the website & check out their products that they sell which offers a lot of information including giving your skin type & allergies. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. Now just to try your product & check out the website. Thank you Lush!

After repeatedly having various negative shopping experiences, to the point I’ve left the store in a downright down/bad mood, I’ve vowed never again to step foot in the Woodland Mall Sephora.There are many alternate choices to buy beauty products, this particular store’s attitude has ensured it will never again receive one penny from me.

Anyways I’m standing there confused because now the email isn’t working because it isn’t a regular gmail account but a school email account and she needs the whole freaking address with the @. She tells me to go outside of the mall to use the WiFi and of course my brain is on autopilot so I don’t resist. I want to tell her I’m not using wifi but I don’t bother. I go out, don’t even go outside of jc penny and go through my email to see all the Sephora emails I have. Btw I even have the app, but the darn thing wouldn’t let log in for some odd reason. Anyways I come back and her vibe totally changed. I show her the emails I get from Sephora and for some reason it’s like she automatically then believes me or something. Her body becomes more receptive and I can feel her allowing me to give her my full email without her saying a word, the one that I was going to give her in the first place before she told me not to use the whole @ 😐 I give her the full email and of course it works. It’s just altogether nasty, negative vibes man. It’s weird because I don’t remember them being this rude with their nonverbals. But I’ve read the other reviews and people feel what I felt. We’re just saying it differently. Also the Mexican food place at the mall is super stingy. You can literally count the rice and beans they give you. It’s not worth it at all. Woodland Mall sucks

We were testing the eyeliner. That’s it. Then she walks away. We went over and tested these face mist type things and the lady walks up behind my friend and just stands there smiling and my friend sprits it on her face and I tap her and she turns around and says “hi..” and then the lady says “Hi!” And has a disgusted smile on her face if you know what I mean? And my friend says “I really like this..” and the worker goes “I can tell” and then struts away. We literally didn’t do anything wrong and I don’t think it sounds that bad what she did, but if you were there you’d understand how scary it was and how mean she was

Paloma Endres: I came in today with a few friends and was sampling some of the eyeliner and some refreshing spray. First when I was sampling the eyeliner she came and yelled at all my friends for “playing” with her products. Then I was trying some coconut spray and she was standing behind me and I turned and said hi and she said hi in a strange tone and i said I really like the spray it’s really refreshing and she said I see that. This was not the first time I’ve had a problem with this lady. As I was reading other reviews they all seemed to line up to this same woman. A hint of advice for her; don’t be rude to customers if you wanna get sales.
