Kimberly Cheyne: Probably one of the nicest people I’ve had help from in the 6 + years I’ve been widowed and started caring for a house on my own. I hired a 5 Star google reviewed company to diagnose the problem and give me an estimate for repair or replacement of my water heater for the cost of $59. The company came out and was very professional and gave me my estimate with multiple options. To repair which I was cautioned against as not the best option was going to be just under $400.00 and to replace was going to be 2,400. I the them I had to think about it as that was well beyond what I could have imagined. I am so thankful a member of my church community recommended Roger. Roger gave me a free estimate me a free estimate and let’s just say my repair was not even 1/4 of what I was quoted and took him very little time to accomplish. He was extremely nice and restored my faith that contractors are not all greedy and out to take advantage of you. I highly recommend Roger to anyone.

I was referred to Roger by a very reputable plumber who said our best bet was to call Roger Vanderlaan.Roger was the third plumber to our house and was the only one to identify what our trouble was -- after 3 sewer backups through our floor drain, and three service calls with 3 different plumbers.Not only did Roger identify the issue, but he also took the time to teach me what he was doing as he worked -- in order to save me from the expense of a service call if heaven forbid this happened again.He is not the cheapest but he is the most knowledgeable plumber I've dealt with and far less expensive than some other companies in the area.If you're looking for a plumber who cares about his customers and strives to do right by them, then Roger is your guy.

Roger blamed the clogged drain on us and the unbelievable mess of sewage blown all over our bathroom on the fact that the water softener turned on. Sewage on the carpet, pad, walls and trim. The flooring needs to be completely replaced because of this fine work. He offered NO compensation for the mess that was left behind and still charged for the service. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We spoke with someone last night , Yani, who was on call for the weekend; he assessed our situation and talked us through options that might need to be explored so we had a price point going into the normal workday hours. When I called at 8am, Diana was absolutely incredible (listening to my sleep-deprived attempts to discuss the history of our home and our situation) while talking us through the next steps (being contacted by a dispatcher and having service between 2-4). Jordan called shortly before 2 and advised he could have someone here within half an hour - down to the minute, Jason arrived and was an answer to prayer.
