I showed her a picture of the florals I wanted as inspiration and she made exact replica for my bridal bouquet and center pieces. The bridesmaid and flower girl bouquets were fantastic. All the extra garland and greenery that were added to my tables and venue were perfect. My guests raved about the florals. Not only that, Tracy was a pleasure to work with. When I decided to go a different direction with my florals, she was gracious, even though I know she had already put in a lot of work. When the estimate was over budget, she worked with me to find options to lower cost. Tracy and the Crescent Floral team are in it for YOU. Kevin Nieboer: I ordered flowers on 11/17/22 for delivery on Saturday 11/19/22. I was advised that due to a storm they might not deliver until Monday 11/21/22. I got a call from their delivery driver on 11/18/22 that he had attempted delivery on 11/18/22 and since no one was at home had returned them the shop. At this point I have no idea of if the flowers will be delivered nor when. I did notice that they didn't refund the cost of the flowers. There was no notice that they'd be delivering early, and only called once the driver had already returned to the shop.These flowers were for a birthday that now is spoiled.

Alex Deruiter: This is by far my favorite floral shop in town. They are so helpful and patient! From my experiences here, they take as much time as necessary to make sure you get what you need. The staff are so knowledgeable! I showed a picture of an arrangement of flowers to one of the employees, and she could name every single flower that was in the picture. This was particularly impressive, as I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for.If anyone is looking for guidance on quality/thoughtful gifts, I would absolutely recommend Ball Park Floral.

Deana Goldin: After a series of difficult transactions followed by a disastrous experience with a major internet florist, I had all but given up sending my dear friend an annual Birthday bouquet. My last try was to look for a local florist in Grand Rapids. I was floored. There was only one florist in the city whose style was not identical to all the others I had ever seen. Only one florist who Had style, as a matter of fact. Creative, beautiful, unique...that's Thelma's Flowers signature style. Further, in dealing with Kelley, I had the pleasure of speaking to a florist who feels strongly about the importance, the value, the power and grace, the Aliveness of flowers and how they convey emotion from the florist to the sender to the receiver. My friend, who was thrilled to receive them, also told me the Delivery was conducted with considerate concern for the flowers and herself, the driver taking great pains to insure the bouquet arrived in peak condition. The condition of the flowers was, in fact, so Peak that, having been delivered on November 10th, they were still gorgeous on the 22nd, when she sent me a picture! Don't bother with anyone else, go to Thelma's, There's no one anywhere nearly as good.

My fiance needed a last minute birthday gift for her friend in Grand Rapids so we searched best flower shops in Grand Rapids and called 4 other local florists.None of them could make a flower arrangement on such short notice. Although defeated and depressed we decided to call one more flower shop and as luck would have it Kelly answered. Luckily for us Kelly was thrilled to help! She didn’t turn down a single request AND they even delivered the arrangements that same day! Not only that but when they went to deliver the flowers she wasn't home so instead of leaving them they came back and delivered them later that evening.I have seen some pretty impressive floral arrangements in my day but I’ve never seen another florist in Grand Rapids that can take flowers and create an arrangement like Kelly at Thelma's Flowers. I really love her avant-garde aesthetic. It’s so different from all the other local flower shops.Customer service was great and their prices are very affordable! N Dykema: Not only do they supply the coolest flowers around(Some look like they could be straight out of a Dr. Seuss book), but they make beautiful Bouquets and provide awesome customer service. With very short notice they built a beautiful Bouquet of flowers that I was giving to a friend after the loss of her mother, and because I was unable to pick them up they delivered them to her door....on a day they were closed. Every piece of it is lovely and the owner is such a gem. You can tell how much she sincerely cares about what she does and the people she interacts with daily. I asked for a sunflower and they incorporated it beautifully. The arrangement was loved by the recipient and it was lovely.

Margi Peterson: I ordered flowers for Mothers Day, one of the busiest flower days of the year. I ordered an upgrade to what was pictured on the site, so when I got the flowers and they didn't really look as I expected, I chalked it up to that fact. I didn't realize I didn't have the accompanying chocolates until I reached my mom's. When she opened the card, the names on it were not ours! I called Kennedy, and we were able to make everything right without a lot of fuss. They were so grateful that I was not angry that they gave me an extra box of chocolates! Kennedy always produces the most gorgeous arrangements with very high quality flowers. In spite of this snafu, I will shop there again and again.

We had a lengthy conversation and they said they could do this arrangement but would have to substitute burgundy carnations for the burgundy flowers. I told them I did not want any carnations in this arrangement and after going back and forth I finally agreed to let them substitute just the burgundy carnations for the burgundy flowers. This arrangement should have been blush pink flowers, protea and the queen Anne’s lace (and the burgundy carnations). They substituted the whole arrangement but for a couple of flowers. They said “Next time you are in Michigan you should stop by and visit us.” I said I would but thought that an odd thing to say. Of course knowing I would not be in Michigan would also mean knowing I would not have seen the alter arrangement. For $122.00 I should have the arrangement we agreed upon or be honest and say they cannot do it and I could move on to a shop who could. Extremely unethical business practices. They had my phone number if they needed to make changes in our verbal and visual agreement.Update- Kennedy’s responded professionally to my complaint. They took care of the situation to my satisfaction.
