Nikki Snyder: UPDATE: Communication has not been great in regards to the 3 items that we purchased. I've had to reach out to inquire on the estimated time of arrival for each of the items we ordered. We were quoted 3-6 months on the chairs. After 5 months with no communication, I reached out AGAIN to inquire. We were told that one chair is in (we were never contacted about it. It was just sitting in the warehouse) and the other chair/ottoman won't be ready till mid July. I understand that there can be delays with the manufacturer but why wasn't that communicated with us? They asked us if we would like to set up delivery for the chair that been sitting in the warehouse but then we are paying 2 delivery fees. Good for Klingman's I suppose. We had such a great experience ordering the items I'm VERY disappointed with how it seems to be turning out. I feel as if it was all about the sale at this point.I must say furniture shopping is an interesting experience. I found that the higher end shops are quick to judge you on your appearance. I encountered that at a few different places and I thought Klingman's was going to be no different. When we first walked in we were looking at a couch that was near 2 employees. Not one of them greeted us and we were very interested in the couch we were looking at. We decided to take a quick look around before we left. That's when Michelle B. came over. Michelle was AMAZING!! I had been struggling to find a couch that fit in our new place. Michelle went above and beyond to help us. She showed us around a few different pieces and was very helpful in getting prices for us.Then she went one step further by offering to help us figure out our design for the new house. We picked out a couple of pieces that we really liked. We came back the next day and she had different rugs, fabrics and color palettes to choose from. She was so thorough and incredibly helpful as I was lost on how to design our new space.I cannot recommend Michelle enough. Her passion for interior design shines through and I'm so thankful that she came over to help us. The furniture we've gotten so far is so sturdy and incredibly comfortable. Thank you for all your help Michelle! We truly appreciate it and your incredible vision :)

Victoria Granzow: Having had previous exceptionally good service, I contracted in March 2022 for a reupholstery project. After an almost four month wait, I finally contacted Klingman’s to advise that our sofa must be returned by July 22, either with the work completed or not. The work was completed but with the wrong size of (too wide) and wrong fill in the cushions. Details for the cushions were discussed with Klingman’s personnel and the upholsterer, drawings and written instructions were provided, additional charges were added for the fill as stipulated in the contract.I contacted the Klingmans salesperson on July 25 and the owner on July 27 to discuss this problem.My experience with Klingman’s thus far has been disappointing.Friday, August 5 - My sofa cushions were picked up August 2 and returned reworked on August 4. Both the size and fill are as I ordered. The upholstery is beautifully done.Thank you, Klingman’s for following through.

They created an atmosphere that is much more colorful, warm, and inviting for every employee and visitor. It has been fun to be part of the process with them as they made suggestions and allowed us to pick from the options they presented. It has been a pleasure working with them and Michelle has been great continuing to see through all the details even with all of the supply delays.

We ended up with a different sofa as well as two chairs, small accent table and a rug. Pricing was good, quality of items exceptional and Channa's design eye fantastic. Its worth the drive to visit Klingman's.We now will go nowhere else.

Not only did they have what I wanted but I had options. Everywhere else there was maybe one option that worked for what I wanted. It arrived on time and the delivery team was very friendly, on time, quick and when I didn’t organize a way to get rid of my old sofa they took it with them for a very small and reasonable fee. Go see them, they are a great local company that I will for sure be going there first for any future home furnishings.

Lucia Vorce: We are so disappointed with Talsma. Our shopping experience with the rep on the floor was great. But it has been less than satisfactory since then. We spent a lot of money to furnish our new home and took advantage of the 2 year no finance deal. When our furniture arrived we were missing an ottoman. They claimed it was not on the order sheet (not too sure how that happened). They ordered it at full price (not the sale price) and would not add it to our 2 year finance. Fast forward to 8 months later. The 2 living room chairs are already fraying. I was told warranty does not cover this and to use a device to remove. These chairs are barely sat in and not even a year old! I never would have chosen this fabric had I known it wouldn't even hold up 8 months! We are also having all sorts of issues with the billing department. They never sent one invoice or email. We thought we paid off the ottoman but apparently they have been applying the payments to the 2 year finance contract and are not charging us 29% interest! Ridiculous! Never again and I will never recommend them to anyone.

dwight oswalt: After waiting forever for our bedroom furniture we finally got it only to discover it was flawed. They sent their delivery guy to pick it up and he left our mattress on the floor for us to sleep on. After calling the store to complain they sent a guy out with a loaner frame so we didn’t have to sleep on the floor. Now it’s been a few weeks of barely any communication and after several texts we are finally getting our bed back. They set up our delivery for 9-12 so I stayed home rather then doing what I needed to do only to sit here watching the time tick by waiting. It is now after one o’clock and of course no call to say they will be late or if they are even coming. This is my last time dealing with Talsma. If your smart you will go elsewhere also

We had a little hiccup with supply chain issues (not their fault) but they resolved it quickly and helped us still get the couch we were hoping for. They also leased us a different couch while we were waiting which was very helpful. We very much enjoyed our time working with Karen and her team to get a sectional and chair for our new home. The table we bought was actually the display table, and it was in perfect condition! The staff were very helpful and patient as we debated our options.Our table arrived a bit delayed due to the shipment's truck breaking down before our delivery date, and funny enough, the truck broke down outside our house after delivering our table and had to be towed. Despite the shipment delay, we were very happy with our purchase, and can't wait to host friends and family at our dining room table.We'll certainly be back to Stonesthrow for more furniture in the near future. So much so that in the last year we purchased a couch, coffee table, rug and several accent pillows. After waiting several months for our couch it came in damaged. We reordered and have since received and love it. The issue is when the couch was delivered a pillow was supposed to be delivered with the order. It was left behind. We had go to the store to pickup. My wife said it doesn't look right when she picked it up. They said sorry you special ordered it. Sincethen the pillow is not right and is out of shape. Asked again about returning it and was told again sorry you special ordered it. We feel if it's defective you should be able to return it. Not happy with this reply.

Patty Wieschhorster: Due to COVID and floods in Texas furniture deliveries were delayed. While this is out of control of Stonethrow, they failed to keep their customers informed of delays and projected deliveries. I found the customer service to be exceptionally poor. Additionally a piece of furniture was delivered looking quite weathered and damaged I was told that the sales person who sold me the piece was new and did not properly explain to me that the leather I had ordered tends to look weathered. While the onus is on the sales person to inform the client they still did not hold themselves accountable for the misinformation. Again poor customer service I do not recommend this company.

Very informative and demonstrated how durable and reliable the coach we were eyeing is. However, delivery was very lengthy. After my fiancé and I purchased our coach at the store we waited somewhere around 3-4 months for it to be delivered. I didn’t mind the wait, I wasn’t in a hurry. Just keep in mind that delivery may be lengthy.

David Chrisman: My wife and I were into the Ashley Store on 28th Street SE over the weekend. We were treated very nicely by Michael and he showed us around at the dinette sets they have inside the showroom and then he left us alone to look as we really appreciate! He stayed at arms length but was available when we needed him like he just knew that perfect time to come around. We found Michael a very personable young man that took his time and answered all our questions and he had all the good information we needed to make our best decision. We were stopping there first on a list of several locations to go look for a nice new dinette set to seat 8 and other matching furniture but soon realized we had the right guy and the right place to just make this our one stop. He explained how the owners take great care in catering to Veterans as my wife and I met in the Army years ago. Both being veterans we really appreciate their wall of honor and the gong they ring as a veteran orders their furniture. It just shows that extra piece of care for their customers that makes the store a welcoming location. We will be back for certain and we sure hope that we can ask for Michael and he will be working that day! Great guy!!! Extremely respectful and just a good young man! R: I paid for my furniture up front and it was expensive, but the quality didn't live up to the name and ads. My chair was broken on arrival. It leaned too far back so all I could see was the ceiling, and then the frame of the chair had to be replaced and the wire harness.. the footrest has never been smooth. This was an expensive chair and it's a flimsy regret. The couch also was bad. My friend sat on it once and it was broken. Now the electronics don't work and a seat is stuck forward. Both of these things were barely used... i wish i hadn't bought them and had my money back. Dont make my mistake. These aren't quality furniture that will stand the test of time.
