Fulton Street Market: what do users think?
Rainy: great for buying local produce, art and sweet treats! i go there to buy up all the stickers from artists.
Aaron Schultz: A little to crowded. Made it hard to even look at the booths. Other then that really fun and great selections if local goods.
Mary Avery: great farmers market.busy than ever. Nice selection
Lisa Chang: Must visit if in town!
Shannon Meyer: Absolutely love this market! Lots of vendors. Good prices and so friendly.
Jo Ceglarek: Large market with lots of vendors and plenty to choose from. Bring your own reusable bags for when you end up buying more than you thought you would. 😉 Fruits, Veggies, Meats, Cheeses, Flowers and hand made jewelry to name a few. Refreshing horchata and pineapple juice were the perfect drinks to break up our shopping, and we closed out our trip with a few goodies from the taco truck.
Michelangelo Kern: I've been coming here since I was a kid, and they always deliver! So many vendors and kind people. Free parking is great too!!
Sara T: Amazing place! Fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables! Beautiful flowers.
Danielle Smith: Didn't go today, but can't wait to go on Saturday. Never disappointed and there is always a great variety of items.

Rebbe Tice: My favorite Farmers Market in GR! I love the variety of vendors... even has a lamb vendor on a recurring basis!
Kim Roberts: Fun place to go on a Saturday morning!
Amberly Marckini: Lovely way to start Saturday morning. Wonderfully unique locally souced and crafted products ranging from produce and ready to eat food to jewelry, woodwork, and more. Prices seem reasonable overall. Parking is a bit tight, but if you find a spot, you're in for a real treat.
Marian Starr: I visited the market a few weeks ago for the first time and I must say the experience was really enjoyable. My favorite pop-up at the market was the Greenwagon farm out of Ada. The items I purchased from their table were so quality fresh and beautifully grown. Planning another trip to the market just to get more items from them
Richard Tainter: good
Darien: Love the affordable plants!
Mary Torres: The market is always bustling with people and vendors! I love selling my wares at Fulton Street Market!!!
Vince Catalanotti: My favorite farmer's market in GR. Fresh produce, bzked goods & garden plants.
Casey Oonk: Nice market and has a great amount of vendors. Tons of good stuff to find here! Everything I purchased was excellent quality!! The only drawback is that there's no dogs allowed. Couldn't verify this beforehand, so I'm posting a picture of the sign for everyone to know in advance.
Bob/Mary Winfree: Great variety of vendors

Ken's Fruit Market: what do users think?
Jennifer Dibble: I love shopping here.
George Banfill: Up until three weeks ago I would have given KENS 5 star rating the one time I have an issue I get no resolution I bought two ribeye steaks which cost me $34. When I got home and open the steaks I find a Band-Aid in the packaging. After stopping at the store twice leaving my business card and messages and calling twice on the phone I have is yet got no phone call from management. That first point I had receipt which I now can't find but don't appreciate the fact that the store manager can't even give me a courtesy call. I have shopped at the Plainfield store the old Clyde Park and 28th Street store and Eastern store. A little customer service will go a long way
V Coffland: We went in and tried to spend our Double up Food Bucks because it’s one of the only places we know of where you can use the double up cards and the produce is a reasonable price. The cashier, Aiden, misheard us and thought we wanted to earn. So we earned on our double up and had to spend our EBT balance, which we were saving for grocery stores that don’t use Double up. We were confused the entire time and rather than clarify or confirm with us what happened, we felt like a burden to our cashier who seemed like he really would have preferred we got out and left. We got the impression that he may have been annoyed with us because of our requests, definitely would not describe him as kind or accommodating. Two separate times we went back in and tried to have the situation made right or refunded and no one could help us. Wish I could rate zero stars. Sincerely, Really poor and really disappointed.
Glenn I: Store isn't very big, great prices, fresh meat.Large supply of various products not found anywhere else in the area.
Isaac Covarrubias: Love this place.
Chad Ewald: Ken's is our neighborhood grocery store and it has great potential, but the smell and cleanliness of the grocery store need to improved. It needs a refresh and maybe a little less bulk candy.
Robin Morton: I love ken's
Anna Huizenga: Love my neighbor market!
Rhonda Hendrix: Enjoy shopping there for fresh fruit.
Susan Rosely: I love this neighborhood store. Always a pleasant experience and feels like community.
Andy Carley: Good selection of produce and meats. Sometimes smells funny.
Chester Malon: Ken's is apart of our everyday life its in our neighborhood and they are smaller but they offer just as much as the bigger branches of grocery...Everyone is always helpful there and we love the fresh meat and good pricing they have to offer ...We will continue to support them !
Carole Sluce: Great strawberries, banana, pears, apples and watermelon.
Timothy Volkers: I grew up just up the road from the Alger Heights Eastern + Alger shopping district and still like to drop by and grab some groceries at Kens fruit market. The quality of meats and produce is top end and some of the best Chocolate milk in the City. The store also sells great Christmas trees and spring flowers. It's a great place I definitely recommend it.
Style Gray: Love the candy
Rosemary Curry: I Love This store been coming here for 25 years
Walter Sherburne (Eldurago): Good selection of fruits and vegetables. Great meat counter staff. Very helpful employees.
Neil Folson: My job
Christine Homminga: Good as always. Haven't really had a bad experience.
Marti Birdsall: I just shared my experience for Alger Heights.
Joe Taylor: They have amazing price's on meat and fruit and vegetables. The prices of cheese has gone up..it almost doubled. Everything else is still good.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Deidre Jourden: I started coming to this store before they did the renovations. FTM has always been my go-to store, the produce stays fresh for longer than other places, I love the hygiene and health section, and the best items to choose from plus the prices.I am eligible for EBT given I work part time & just had a baby. Today (05/08/23) was the 4th time I’ve went to check out and certain food items did not ring up as food items. The first 3 times I just shook it off and paid for an obvious mistake, it was only about $8.99 I owed. Today I owed $22 for two food items and 2 can drinks. I was in self check out & was told to go to lane 2.The cashier at lane 2, Rebekah, asked me if I wanted to pay the $22 or take them off. I reminded her that these are food items and should be covered. She said there’s nothing they can do, they can’t change it. I asked for a manager and she said “I’ll call one of them, but I don’t think there’s anything they can do.” I forgot the managers name but he was slim with dark hair. He fixed the problem and I was able to leave.Im very grateful he was able to help, but I felt extremely disrespected by the cashier. I have worked in customer service for 6 years and I have previous management positions at a grocery store and another retail store. I observed Rebekah did not want to deal with the situation.. she didn’t offer a solution and did not act appropriate in a situation where the customer may become upset. Given my previous jobs, I already knew this was a problem that could be solved. I am fed up with having to pay for the store’s mistake. If customers are allowed to make purchases using a Bridge Card, then all food items should ring up as food.I don’t know if I was treated this way because of the color of my skin, my young age, my visible tattoos, or simply because the cashier had a bad day, I will never know. I will not forget my experience here.I will miss this store. I’m not sure I will return soon, if at all. Thanks if you read this.
Rebecca Keenan: Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Prices are a little higher than other stores but it’s worth it for the ease and experience of shopping there.
jim: never had a fresher thyroid
Patricia C “Trish” Volkhardt: After seeing the item I wanted, I drove down from Sparta to shop here. I was amazed by the cleanliness, the orderly layout of store, and the stock! I need up buying far more because the prices are amazing! I will be back weekly to shop here. The staff too, are great team!
Patricia C Volkhardt: A truly clean, well organized and well stocked market that's filled with good and caring staff...the prices are amazingly low..I went out of my way to go check it out, and I needed one item. I came out with more! I will drive the extra to go back weekly 😉
Two Hoots: Great looking produce and lots of different healthy options while looking through the aisles.
Michael O'Callaghan: Great place to shop. Helpful staff. Fresh, healthy food. Great produce at fair prices. Lovely!
jose paguada: great place G I bins getting lots of new work in this area Thanks 2 our community who supports us
Kelly D: Friendly staff. Was greeted by two different staff membersand thanked for shopping by another smiling face. I love this place.
Matt S: Good selection of stuff not at Meijer, when they have stock. They're really really bad at having things in stock. It's amateur hour at best and the logistics, operations, and purchasing managers or executives should all be ashamed of themselves and should probably be fired right now. You have a few things that I really want that Meijer doesn't have but everything else is significantly more expensive than Meijer 20 to 30% more expensive. When you don't have the things that I want that Meijer doesn't have there's literally no reason for me to drive further and pay way way way more money. You need to get the stocking situation in order or there's no reason for me to ever even stop in your store.
Monica: It is always clean. They keep their ahelves stocked , the employees are helpful and welcoming. I love their fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. The selection is wide range to fit many different palates. Their salmon is awesome and fresh and it’s my go to for alkaline water by the case. Plus they are open until 10pm which os convenient for late night shoppers like myself.
Theresa johnson: It's a nice place fresh vegetables everything in there is nice and fresh some frozen fish chicken bacon
Dominic C: Ever since their redesign, there are almost no people of color working here. Maybe one. Step it up. It’s 2023
Chuck Premer: Great place to shop, nice produce section, wonderful meat counter.
Bradley Bosscher: It used to be better. The inventory is still pretty good, but the service has taken a pitfall. Checking out is a hassle now.
Paul Townsend Lamb: Organic and fresh products help you save time and effort when shopping. Self checkout speeds the process along. Nice place to shop in the neighborhood.
Titeaunka latrice Hill: First experience I loved it very Well organized and clean and the food was great I picked up for myself for dinner love I'll definitely shop again
M B: There is always a calming autmosphere. They have great products at great and fair prices. The staff are very friendly... esspecially after a long day, they are so kind. I reccomend Fresh Thyme for those who do not enjoy other chain stores; whom live a health forward lifestyle. This is really a great place to shop. Clean, helpful, great store layout, not clausterphobic, stocked well. Really a great place to do your home essential shopping; big or small. They carry a lot of quality brands, local brands, vegan brands, you can bag your own seeds, nuts, or coffee beans, they sell fish like "Barramundi", and have a comprehensive homeopathic medicine section.Oh! And there is rarely ever a line to wait in. Maybe wait on one person on a busy night, they have plenty of checkout kiosks.
dadi vranji: I will never come to this store again because it is the most expensive and besides being the most expensive I have to scan and pack everything myself because the OWNER is stingy to pay the cashiers because he is too money hungry! In the future I will go to Meijer because it is the store that every consumer wants!!!
Karina Munoz: Love this store BUT the prices on the pics are outrageous and funny at the same time.
Barb W Brown: Great selections!

D&W Fresh Market: what do users think?
Tom Snyder: Meijer didn't have it, Walmart didn't have it, but D&W did!!!
James: Their meat market is a great place to get your fresh meat cut up to your liking. Great service and great staff behind the counter.
Evelyn Clowes: What in the world is going on? I walked in yesterday and not only were there the usual empty shelves but the bakery was non-existent. When I asked I was told the bakery manager had been promoted and the new one doesn’t know how to make donuts! What? A bakery manager that doesn’t know how to make the product much less manage the bakery? Not certain I’ve ever heard anything so stupid. The Peter Principle at it’s finest. Is this going to be the death keel of D&W like their sister store Family Fare? The Russell Stover rack has not been replenished for at least six weeks. I buy sugar free chocolates for a friend and I haven’t found them since well before Christmas. They also had a special on the Russell Stover boxed candy. Buy one- get one free. And there were none.I haven’t found the small cans of V-8 for weeks. Often they are out of Diet Coke. I could go on and on. Most of this has been the norm long before COvid. But the lack of donuts was the final straw. They have become similar to a poorly stocked 7/11. I expect way more from Spartan Nash. And now a year later not much better. Tons of donuts but not a chocolate one to be found.
Mark Charon: Very clean
Shelley Fraser: Our favorite cashier is Fekeldu. He is always accommodating and pleasant. We shop here every week and staff makes it helpful to find what we need. 🙂
Alex Brenner: The Breton village D&W is larger and nicer than the Gaslight village location. They have a wide variety of usual groceries; however, the prices are a bit more compared to places like Meijer. They had tahini which Meijer no longer carries, but we're out of mint during my most recent visit. I tend to only stop at D&W to pick up a few items and if it's convenient for me.
AnewMei Akuah: Rude employees
Tina Simpson: Great shopping
Bill Johnson: Good fresh food like deli meats and bakery wines beers fruits and vegetables cafe rich food high price next I like visit Caledonia d&w fresh market next
Paul Townsend Lamb: Great place to get groceries.
Jo-C Coleman: It was busy but all was in order. They had everything I went in for.
Bradley Bosscher: Great store. Recently rearranged, things are running smoothly again. I love the discounts. Shipt is delivering with them now too.
Patricia DenBoer: Had a deli sandwich, fantastic
Sabrina Fenske: My boyfriend has the best meat department in the company
Edward Sumrell (ehs): Wonderful staff!
Anna Stevens: Good varity
Jimi Arizola: Whoever is doing all the rearranging isn’t getting enough oxygen to their brain.
Laryssa Wade: I live in area love to shop here. I'm rising grandkids have WIC ever time I get WIC the food marked WIC doesn't ring up WIC its a problem please fix❤
Bill Adams: None of your business how it was.
Kimberle: D&W is a great place to grocery shop. I miss having them in Walker! What a difference compared to Family fare.
Bill Cleveland: Today will be my last day shopping at D&W Fresh Market for quite some time. The store renovation has stretched on for months, with today being yet another complete reorganization of products. I couldn't find what I was looking for and threw my hands up in frustration. Maybe I'll be back next year once the year of perpetual reorganization is behind this store.D&W Fresh Market is a nice place to shop. The selection is generally good. However, no bulk foods section. Great selection of gluten free foods. Butcher is very good. Produce is fine The highlight of Michigan-produced foods helps people wanting to support local businesses. Service is always attentive by the active staff members.
