Olivia Lyszyk: Absolutely horrible pharmacy. Continually closing at random hours, multiple employees not knowing the basics of their job, wait times are horrible, and half the time they claim insurance doesn't work. Avoid.
Lia E: Worst Walgreens I’ve ever experienced. My prescriptions were anyways out of stock regardless if it was refillable every month. They would confirm my prenatals were in I’d go in to pick them up and somehow… they weren’t there and I needed to wait days to even weeks.I finally had enough and switched from Walgreens and I’ve never had any issues nor delays with my prenatals nor prescription.Do not waste your time with this pharmacy location, the store itself is pleasant.
Jonathan Seely: This store closed the pharmacy for two weeks and couldn't keep their story straight about why it was closed. I had two new prescriptions called in after my physical, which they accepted, "pending review". I then found out the pharmacy was closed. The media got involved a couple days later, the pharmacy magically reopens, and my pending prescriptions are... gone. I am glad they were not urgent, and I feel terrible for everyone who did have urgent prescriptions. On top of this the store is always dirty, disorganized and the checkout is always painfully slow, no matter if there is a line or not. I transferred my prescriptions elsewhere and will never set foot in this store again if I can help it.

I was delayed getting my medication due to them being closed and me not knowing so I felt very sick. When you call it doesn’t say they are closed but just puts you on hold forever. They need to let their customers know they are closed!! If I would have known sooner I could have gotten my prescription filled at a different location sooner before I had to skip a dose and get sick
Kat Kleinjans: This is the worst Walgreens in all of GR. They are constantly understaffed and nothing runs smoothly. Corporate is failing this store BIG TIME. DO BETTER. TREAT YOUR PEOPLE BETTER SO THEY CAN TREAT PEOPLE BETTER. Finally transferred all of my meds to a different pharmacy because I'm so disgusted by the constant hassle at this store.
Kyle Bedient: The pharmacy employees at this location are absolutely incompetent. Other locations in the area that I have called say this location is full of new people who don’t know what they’re doing. Don’t go here!!! I told this location exactly how to bill my insurance and they told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. I confirmed I was correct the first time I went in to pick up my Rx. This location closes early due to low staffing and lies and says they will return call by end of day. I was also told my prescription would be ordered and ready and it wasn’t. Do yourself a favor and drive to another location.
martha hidalgo: Just a short time ago this was a great pharmacy - these days doctors prescription called in take more than six hours to fill or more. If you call the message (same recording) plays over and over for well right now it has been 1/2 hour.Time for a change I would say this is pathetic. There is one star here - for this place and even that is over and above. I am sorry for the only pharmacist who is obviously way over worked - she is very nice but no one person should have to handle this. A sign of the times.😢

Ryan Schutter (eLevate Razeryan): The pharmacy here needs help. I can't tell I they are understaffed or what the problem could be otherwise. Our prescriptions are frequently delayed. Last time I asked there was no reason given why they weren't filled. It's fine for generic convenience items. I don't recommend sending your prescriptions here unless they are very low priority.
David VE: Called twice waited 15 mins both times just to be hung up on. Talked to the pharm techs when I'm in the store and they complain about how understaffed they are. You are a corporation, address this problem and hire more people.
Eve Kennedy: I use Walgreens all the time for convenience. It's a nice store close to home plus it has a drive through for my prescriptions. Convenience does bring a slightly higher price, but not outlandish.
Josh Von Werewolf: My wife has been out of medication she needs for going on 72 hours. The RX was transferred to this location because it was in stock. She went and they said drive around the block it will be ready She did just that. Came back and the whole store was closed and a sign on the drive thru saying no Pharmacies on duty. So in 5 minutes they closed the store down. This was at 3:30 PM mind you. This is an important medication for a very sick person.

Amit Patankar: This is my go to place for pharmaceutical needs. Every time it's a great experience. I had to visit the pharmacy once during the Covid-19 crisis and I was expecting a chaos / shortage of meds but to my surprise everything was going so smooth, they had what I needed and I was attended swiftly as always.Great location, service and friendly staff. I recommend this farmacy.
Hedda Britt: Wish I could give less. I'd give half a star for convenient location, and 1/2 star for friendly staff, most of the time. For those who gave a 4-5 star for convenient shipping to home, some of us do not want shipping to home but rather pick up at store. For us we are treated rudely and most inconvenienced. Once again a new business that as long as you are a number and they dont have to interact weekly or more often on a face-to-face basis, ok. I have sat here 3 days not taking my meds because the app shows it as prescription received but pending. I called today to inquire and was told, oh its ready but you have to call to arrange shipping. I don't want shipping. The pharmacy is 1/2 mile from me. I want to go in and pick it up. Get out of the house a few minutes. Move not vegetate at home. Get as much normal back as I can. I wont even try to give her "answer"...it made no sense to me.

The technician at the window was in the middle of a task so I waited until she finally looked up & acknowledged my presence, asking what I needed. She then went back to her task, giving me zero attention. I waited until she looked back up at me then I began to ask my question at which point she went back to the task she was working on again. She was also chewing gum like a cow chews its cud. I told her if she couldn't give me the time & attention my inquiry required I would take my business elsewhere. Some people should not be in customer service positions. Do better, Walgreens. You lost a potential customer!

Darrel (Darrell?), who was working the register tonight, lifted everyone’s moods with a constant smile and a quick riff from a popular Disney movie; great voice, by the way! (Ask him to sing you something!) Truly appreciate all of you, I’ve been coming here for years.

Curtis Holden: Customers service has plummeted over the last year or so. Have come here for years, but am now transferring elsewhere as I have lost count of how many times my script has been forgotten the notification never came. Last straw came when I stopped in 4 days after my script was sent as I never heard a THING from them and they "put it back" because I hadn't picked it up, but now they were out. How am I supposed to know to pick it up if you never tell me it's there to begin with!? Has happened many times. Would recommend ANYWHERE but here.

I called to see if my medication was in stock at this store (it’s out of stock in a lot of places) and after the technician told me they didn’t have it, I asked if she could look in the database if other local Walgreens had the prescription. She promptly told me “no” and that I would need to call around myself. I called the Walgreens on Michigan & Fuller and while they also did not have my medication, they took the time to check the system and find me a location that did have it in stock. The technician told me this was standard practice and not difficult to do. While I understand the technician at this store might have just been having an off day, there was no reason to be rude and flat out lie about her ability to check the database. Will not be filling prescriptions here in the future.

Filled out online appointment forms twice just to pull up to the drive thru and even though I have a screenshot of the appointment with their address, date and time it wasn’t confirmation enough? By the end I had to spend $26 on at home test because they can’t get their system right? So just buy the test I guess.

C Jones: Update: after everything I described below, after the pharmacy said they could not fill my prescription and I had to transfer it myself, they still decided to put in a claim with my insurance which I had to dispute in order to get it filled somewhere else. Not only could they not fill the prescription, they tried to take money from my insurance anyway. Stay far away from this place.Old review:This pharmacy sat on a prescription for at least 3 hours despite telling me it would be ready later in the day nearly 2 hours earlier because they didn’t have enough to fill it. They then offered to fill it partially if I could get a new prescription for it. I told them I could and to fill it partially, then they immediately backtracked and said they couldn’t fill it despite having enough medication to give it a partial fill, they couldn’t fill it because then they wouldn’t have anymore in stock. Then why offer it the first place if you can’t even do a partial fill? Then one of the pharmacists told me to my face they didn’t have time to deal with it, so I’d have to call another pharmacy to call them to transfer the prescription to a new pharmacy.Are you kidding me? What an absolute joke and failure of communication and service. I guess my wife gets to be in pain another night because this pharmacy can’t muster up even 20 seconds to leave a voicemail or do the absolute bare minimum to ensure this medication gets to another pharmacy. I spent more time trying to figure out this failure of communication with the pharmacist than it would have taken for them to pick up the phone and get the prescription transferred to a pharmacy that can actually do it’s job.Don’t go here if you need medication. They’ll screw it up and won’t tell you until you show up to pick it up.

Dawn southern: Recently switched from big box pharmacy to Hometown and wish I had done so long ago. Everyone is extremely friendly and knowledgeable . Great service and they have worked very hard without complaint to accommodate my complicated pharmacy needs. The entire staff and especially Luke the manager have made this pharmacy transition very smooth with minimal pain and hassle. I would highly recommend considering Hometown Pharmacy for your pharmacy needs.
Kayla P: I called almost every pharmacy in town for over an hour trying to fill a prescription that my guinea pig needed within 12 hours, and absolutely no one had it in stock. I called HomeTown and while they didn't have the oral suspension I needed, they did offer to make a suspension for me out of the tablet form they had. Every pharmacy I had called prior also had the tablets but no one else had offered to make a suspension for me until I called here! (and she even put some berry flavor in it 💜) I'm very grateful they took the time to hear my situation, called my vet's office to confirm dosage, and prepared a life saving antibiotic for my little dude when no one else would. Him not getting his medicine in a timely manner would have likely resulted in his passing away. Thank you so much.

Recently we had a confusing combination of prescriptions we needed to fill after a family member was in the hospital. The pharmacist personally sorted it all out in his office with us and made what was an overwhelming list of prescriptions completely understandable. These folks are a gift.

alyssa jansma: A prescription was called over for my son at 11am from his doctors office. I called as I was leaving to also request a couple of refills on his prescriptions. Was told everything would be filled shortly. Arrived 5 HOURS later at 4pm and they hadn't even started his prescriptions. I waited for an additional 20 minutes and was given a package with only the refills. Now at nearly 430 I'm told that the prescription that was called over from the doctors office was never even filled because they had to special order it. Something they could have mentioned on the phone, called me about in the 5 hour timespan before my arrival or during the 20 minutes I sat and waited. No apologies. No remedy to fix the situation just an oh we don't have that. Luckily I was able to call his doctors office with a few minutes to spare to get it sent to a different pharmacy, had I not we would have likely ended up back in the hospital due to my son having numerous chronic health issues one in which this medication was needed for today. Not whenever they decided to order it for. I'll be moving our care to Walgreens from now on
Phil Oosterhouse: They were great when they were Village Pharmacy but now they are hopeless. My father gets pill packs from them and they have left pills out or put the wrong pills in more than 5 times. Only because I check the pills each week for my father did I notice, I wonder how many elderly people who have no one looking out for them are missing or getting the wrong pills each week.3 times they have completely forgotten my father's blood pressure medication. The last time his blood pressure got out of control, he had a massive stroke so this is a crucial med for him. When I called to complain, they acted like it was no big deal and the "manager" Jan, was extremely rude, seemed annoyed that she had to send a new pill pack and even had the nerve to tell me to calm down. Outrageous that a pharmacy doesn't take getting the prescriptions right seriously. If someone misses a pill for a week, there are serious withdrawal symptomsThey also don't match the pills to the information sheets they provide.
