Noah's Pet Cemetery & Crematory: what do users think?
Justin Donoghue: Quite unimpressed overall. The rest of my family who coordinated plans for our family pet had a great experience via phone. When I arrived to pick up our pet after the cremating process the first thing I noticed when pulling into the parking lot was a utility wagon piled with what appeared to be soon to be cremated pets. This was upsetting, and not to mention very uninviting. The remainder of my visit went about the same. The staff seemed far from compassionate or caring. The staff were all business, and even then, did not even ask if we were interested in any of their other services/products at the time of pickup. Unfortunately, this is not the first pet we have had cremated. There are certainly better pet cemetery/crematory options in the greater Grand Rapids area.
Russ Venlos: They have been taking care of our pets for many years.I highly recommend getting a paw print casting. It gives you something to remember your pet.
Tammy Cooper: I got my 17 year old dog Lola back today. I thought she was going to be returned in a tin so I bought her nice urn. She was actually given to me in a nice wooden urn that I would happily leave her in if I could return the urn I bought (but I can't) Noah's was quick to reply. Only issue I had was with the vet's communication and this had nothing to do with Noah's.
todd zoerhof: Had a pet horse put down cause of health issues,Rob came and picked him up, very professional and kind during a sad time, excellent service
Forest Dog: I recently lost my loving Lab Moose. I chose a private cremation and a paw print before leaving that day. The day before he was picked up I called Noah's and asked about purchasing an additional ash pendant. I was treated with kindness and compassion over the phone.I just brought him home after he was brought back to my vet clinic. He was in a beautiful wood box and there was a blue rose with him as well.I want to thank them for taking care of my boy and getting him back home to me.
Amanda Kirchner: We used this company last year, in July, for our eldest dog who passed while we were on vacation in MI. After having our middle dog pass just a few days ago and having an awful experience at another crematory in our home state, I felt compelled to write this review.During the loss of our first pet on our vacation, we were referred to Noah's Pet Crematory. The experience was the absolute best it could have been during a difficult time. When called prior to bringing our dog in to explain we were not at home and were vacationing. The company took our situation very seriously and treated us, our dog, and our time with respect. Upon arrival, we said our final goodbyes to our boy, and he was taken into another room. Looking back, this was a good experience because it allowed me to look through the urn options and decide how I wanted to memorialize my boy. We chose private cremation with a fantastic urn option that had his own, unique paw print on the top. We received the clay paw print, the lock of hair, and we purchased a piece of memorial jewelry where they used his nose etched on the jewelry (he had a unique identifying spot on his nose and that was included on the jewelry etch). I found the company had options but not too many to be overwhelming. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. We were told we would have to wait 10 business days or so for everything if we rushed the order. This was a bit longer than we hoped because we did not want our dog's ashes shipped to us in our home state, so we chose to wait in MI until he was ready. They rushed his order, and we had him and his memorial items back within the time frame they promised. Everything was absolutely beautiful, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company.
Keith and Melissa M: not very doog communication 8 days from the time my baby passed till we got him back. The metal container to hold his ashes way small. Hope it wont be a very long time till i have to do this again, 4 years since the last time
Eduardo Diaz: My experience with Noah's was good in the terms of getting my pets remains back in a beautiful manner of having their paw imprinted into a piece that I hung on the wall as a reminder of them. It seems they put care into these pieces I will use their service in the future when the unfortunate time comes again.
Patricia Gale: I have had all my dogs and cats over the years cremated by Noah's crematory. It always was a pleasant experience getting my babies back. This time I am blown away by how beautiful everything looks. A gorgeous wooden box. A red rose ...all in all my little princess came back in a container suitable for a princess. Thank you Noah's staff ❤
Dawn Giaimo: You did such a good job with my Harley baby, I couldn't ask for more, the foot print was very special!! Thank you for being so thoughtful!!
Miranda James (Roo): Noah’s handled the cremation when my best friend Frito passed away. I can not say enough about the job they did! The services they offered as well as provided brought a peace of mind I wouldn’t have thought possible at that time. I highly recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in need of final arrangements for their furry friends. Thank you Noah’s, for everything!
Michael Burcon: They talked to me after hours last night when our wonderful cat Barney passed. We brought him in today and were given several options. It also helped to meet their cat. Highly recommend Noah's!
Logan Russell: Unfortunately I lost my best friend who I loved more then anyone or anything and am completely devastated and ruined. Noah’s Garden was a very friendly and soothing place to bring my best friend to be cremated and couldn’t have asked for a better place.
Gwen Hansen: The mementos I received after Dundee’s cremation are very sweet.I love his paw prints. I received his ashes in 7 days.
Jeannie Anton: Thank you so much for taking care of our Molly. She meant the world to us. The beautiful tin, her paw print and the card and rose. We are grateful and she is now back home. 😔❤️
Emma Gray: They where incredibly respectful and did a great job.
Judy Moon: Rob & Ellen are so wonderful. We appreciate everything they did after an unexpected death of a very close family companion. Thank you.
Lisa Koan: They are so compassionate about your furr babies thanks for everything you guys are awesome
Cindy Lyles: We had to have 2 of our dogs euthanized on the same day. It was a huge loss for us. We requested they be cremated due to the time of year. Our vet took care of that for us. Jonah's did an amazing caring job. We where expecting them returned to us in a cardboard box as that was the case with Mom and Dad. The urns are beautiful. I want to thank Noah's for you care with our pups. It helped more than I can express.
Marilyn Frey: We've lost two beloved pets in three months and had them cremated. Noah's did a loving job. The paw prints were extra special.
Autumnlilli: Nothing but amazing things to say about this place. We awoke to our little one passed away on a Sunday morning. We called Noah's that day, and even though they had plans and it was a Sunday they were wiling to meet with us. We declined and went in on Monday instead. The staff was nothing but caring and compassionate. We will be going to Noah's from now on whenever one of our fur babies crosses the rainbow bridge.

Trusted Journey Pet Memorial Services - Byron Center: what do users think?
Trashman 2129: I just recently lost my best friend. The two lady I had contact with at Trusted Journey were absolutely wonderful. They took the time to make sure that I was satisfied with the arrangements I had made. Very compassionate and very caring to make sure that everything was done according to what I wanted.
James Hale: Wonderful people ...offering great caring services at the most difficult of times!!
Laura Goodrow: When I received my cat, Polly's, ashes back from Sleepy Hollow I was astonished. I've had many pets cremated over the years and while I've never had a bad experience, I've never had one like this. I opened the box and could feel the care and reverence they put into it. Everything was beautifully packaged. They did everything exactly as I requested. There were so many thoughtful details added, that I knew they took care of her, with love. Thank you Sleepy Hollow.
Jennifer v: They never have stable prices. I have had two dogs cremated last year giant dogs 90 pounds plus and they now want the same price for my 40 pound dog. They don't know how to keep their good faithful customers
Jen R: Imagine my surprise and disappointment to see the difference in memory stone quality from 2022 to 2023. The 2022 version was finished in gray sealer and looked finished and nicely done for display. This year is unfinished clay, not smooth to the touch and not looking finished, not as easy to read. The price sure didn’t decrease to match the quality. You leave me, still grieving the loss of my boy trying to figure out how to make my stone look nice. With more older cats I hope the quality changes bask to what it was
greanlantern: Professional, caring and personal. Really helpful during a very awful time. Highly recommend.
Louise Erasmus: They handled my Andre Cremation. There was a slight mishap with the shipping they took care of it and had him personally delivered to my house. I'm very happy with the customer service that they provided and that they handled Andre in a very respectful manner. I would recommend using them. Thank you so much. It means so much.
Aleesha Shattuck: We used Sleepy Hollow in 2021 after our German Shepherd unexpectedly passed away at home. They met us late in the evening at the facility so we wouldn't have to keep her body at home in the heat. They were very friendly and understanding. We just used them again but this time they picked up our pup from the emergency hospital. Now Trusted Journey, the process was just as smooth. I appreciated that we got to pick an urn this time and still got our dog's paw print. The staff was very kind on the phone and in person. Highly recommend from our family.
Angela de Boer: Immediately felt like I was in a safe, non-judgmental, calming space when they opened the door for me. First time burying a family kitty and she passed away at home. I had no clue what the process was but they walked me through it. Thankful that this place exists and the staff treat you like a human being and not just another customer.
Kyaira Theunissen: I have had 2 pets pass away this year that I have brought to Trusted Journey. Both parakeets, both very special to me. I could not have asked for a better experience both times. They were compassionate, understanding and so helpful through this process. I will continue to use their services for every pet in our family, hopefully not soon though.Thank you for everything you do!
Tracie Malburg: Our 13 year old Pitbull, Bree, was handled with such love and care. The staff was very caring and compassionate. We weren’t quite ready to say goodbye, they told us to take our time.
James Ketchum: I just recently had my cat cremated there and they were super friendly
Nicole L: Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because i appreciate that they offer free urns when you register online. I received conflicting information about how to retrieve my pet's remains. The brochure given by the animal hospital (printed by Truated Journeys) says arrangements are made through the Animal Hospital we visited (that would have been fine as they're only a half hour from my home and are open long hours). Then after completing the form on Trusted Journey's site, I received an email stating the remains would be delivered to my home (that would have been ideal). Then Saturday I received a call saying I have to come pick them up. When I asked Where (I had no idea where the crematorium was, we didn't choose them) the lady scoffed at me and said Byron Center... 45 minutes from home and their weekday hours are 9-5 so no way a full time day-worker can get there meaning we had to go during their brief Saturday hours. We drove down the next weekend and had a very odd experience inside. The woman who assisted us said "baby" at least 10x in the 5 minutes we were there. "What's your baby's name" "I'll go get your baby" "here's the certificate for your baby" "I'm sure your baby had a good life", etc. Yes, I referred to my cat as my fur baby, but this was A LOT. Then she asked if I had other "babies" at home and I said no. She asked if I planned to get another and I started crying and said "I don't think I can go through this again" (it was a difficult decline and we also lost another pet just a few years ago). Instead of respecting what I said, and the fact that I was crying as a result, she launched into why we should adopt another pet, pulls out a booklet of local adoption agencies flips thru it and puts it in my bag, and tells me its what "my baby" would want and that it's "not cheating on them" to get another pet and that other pets need good homes too... We left as quickly as possible and when we got out to the car my soft spoken husband even said "That was really inappropriate. I guess they're a business playing the long game."
Sabrina: My one year old dog Velvet recently unexpectedly passed away and the staff was so kind and caring. Not sure who I spoke to but she was an angel and referred to my dog as my baby (which Velvet absolutely was, so this made me smile). I've had rats too for many years and always take them here when they pass and I've had such a wonderful experience every time with Sleepy Hollow/Trusted Journey. The staff is unbelievably kind and gentle every single time. I really appreciate it and am very grateful for the staff here when clients like me are mourning the loss of our beloved pets. Much love to the staff here
Laura Fuentes: What an amazing experience with sleepy hollow. From the first time I called till they came to get my beautiful horse Stephanie that had passed they were truly amazing. I’m grateful for there services. There urn and detailed to everything was beautiful. I would recommend 100 % to his company. Thank you so muchCristina
Elizabeth VanDyke: I was so impressed with the compassion I received. It is clear the staff loves animals, but they also love people. Thank you for providing such comfort and care during a difficult time!
Mark Stevens: As much as I hate having to go to Sleepy Hollow they are very good at what they do, they are understanding, compassionate, and very helpful in choosing what you would like done with your fur baby's remains..I hope I don't have to see you for many years.
Stacey Montoya: It is so unfortunate when you lose a pet, but the staff at Sleepy Hollow we’re so compassionate and understanding. They made you feel at ease and made the whole process uncomplicated. I would definitely recommend Sleepy Hollow for those unfortunate times.
Katherine J: Very kind, compassionate employees. They greatly helped me through the mourning process and patiently answered all of my questions. Very accommodating and a reasonable price. They accept all kinds of pets and took great care of my hamster. Will definitely return again when the time comes.
Amber Vanderzalm: Sleepy Hollow took care of my boy, Ace, and made me feel like he was part of their family too. I called to order an ash-holding pendant and I was sobbing. The woman I spoke to was very compassionate and worked with me, even going so far as to.ask if the pendant I wanted could be engraved on the front. They agreed to put his name on the front of the pendant for me and I LOVE it. I feel like he's always with me. ❤️
Special K: My first initial contact with Sleepy Hollow was in 2018 at the Pet Expo with the General Manager Joel & offhand I’m not sure if the Owner David was there also. This first encounter touched my heart and I knew one day I would have to make that call. Kim & Justin, I can’t thank you enough for how amazing you both are. Kim was in constant contact with me when my Service Dog was being put down a few weeks ago. Justin made sure she was wrapped ever so gently, when carrying her away. Their empathy and compassion says it all. Justin went over the top & brought my girl back home & made sure her paw print was done perfectly! They treat you as if you’re family and he didn’t mind me reaching out to give him a hug thanking him for all he did & how my Service Dog was cared for. I whole heartedly appreciate all of you & what a compassionate business you have. I highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for when that time comes. My heart still hurts knowing she is gone, but having her ashes here at home has me at peace.

Oak Haven Pet Crematorium: what do users think?
Private User: Thank you very much for caring for Boom.
Gabrielle Conley: The staff here really cares. We lost our 15 year old beagle and after calling a couple places who seemed like they would treat our boy like just another chore, we found Oak Haven. They were so kind, considerate, and made us feel like they would treat him like our old Boom. He mattered to them and you could tell in the way they handled every step of the process. I cannot thank them enough. They also accommodate a wide selection of urns rather than just stuffing him in a tin. I highly recommend their services.
Barb Scott: Very pleased! Winston came home in a beautiful velvet bag with the rainbow bridge insomnia
Mr G: I highly recommend this place. We lost our family dog of 13years on Christmas day. We called and left a message on Sunday December 25th and they got back to us right away to say they would be open on Monday morning and we could bring her in.Great staff, they were so understanding and helpful and with going over our options. Then within in a few days they called and we were able to pickup our pets ashes and paw print .I can't thank them enough for helping us through this hard time and making it so affordable . These people are the best.
Rachel Doane: I can’t say enough amazing things about the experience we had with this business. They were extremely sensitive and went above and beyond to make this heartbreaking time for us as simple as possible. They even washed our dog’s linens that we dropped him off in. They were amazing and an incredible value. We drove an hour to them because it was a Sunday and there was nowhere else open that we could bring our boy who passed away in his sleep. Plus, everywhere we called charged more than double what this place did. I’m so thankful for them and will recommend them to anyone who loses a pet. 🐾 ❤️
Jennifer Laramie: Mike was very accommodating. The love that they clearly have for fur babies is evident. We felt our Sally the Beagle was treated with respect and our feelings were as well. This might sound insensitive to some, however, I need to mention that the cost was less than anywhere else I called. I mention this because not everyone who has lost a pet can afford a cremation, and the guilt that can go along with having to make the decision. Just look at the love that was put into the cremation of our baby.
Brad Tooker: I called after hours to make arrangements to drop off my rabbit the next day and was met with compassionate staff and quick service. His remains were returned in a beautiful container one week later. When the dreadful day comes that my other pets pass away, I will utilize Oak Haven again.
Tiffani Evans: They were so amazing in helping us get through the difficult process of saying goodbye to my best friend.. We were told they were very busy so the time to get her back might take a little longer than normal but it was definitely worth the wait.. They took such good care of my girl and gave her back to me so she can always be with me.. Having to wait only told me that they do such a good job that they get a lot of business.. I’ve recommended them to several friends who have lost pets recently and I will keep recommending them.
Heather Kurtz: This is not ok. It's been over a month and still haven't received my dog's ashes back.
Sue Williams: I would recommend oak Haven crematorium to anyone. They treated me with respect and did everything I asked even going so far as to fill a necklace I had brought in. As far as I'm concerned they deserve more then five stars.
Billie Kindle: Very pleased with service, and presentation of our beloved pet!!! Will definitely be a return customer in the future!! Thanks
Wendy Dausman: Everyone we talked to was so nice and respectful. Absolutely loved how Oak Haven handle our situation, they did such an amazing job.❤🐾
Wendy Devereaux: Oh my gosh my has my cooper as we speak. He has been so caring. He even just let me cry to him and tell him all about my cooper. I hope none of you ever have a tragedy as we did and have to use him. But his big heart. Made me feel safe to leave my best friend with him.
Ron Ladermann: We would like to thank Mike at Oak Haven for the wonderful job that was done on the cremation of our beloved pet and faithful companion Abby. She passed away on Dec. 3,2019.Mike picked Abby up at our home and was very polite and professional. He came in and explained everything that would be done including cost. Her cremains were placed in a beautifully designed wooden box,and included an imprint of her paw and a certificate of cremation.Again, thank you Mike.We are very happy with the way she was cared for.Ron and Patsy.
Katie Johnson: Very unprofessional and uncaring. First, there were children running around when I arrived. Very unprofessional. No one offered to help my with my deceased pet, I was expected to go out and bring her in all the while trying to open the door outwards by myself. I was distraught and the uncaring attitude was appalling. I will NEVER take another pet to these uncaring, unprofessional people. Ever! If I could give them zero stars I would.
Derek Trout: We have lost 2 of our beloved companions they were very helpful in our time of need and for my sons dog roxy they stayed a bit past there hours of operation until we were able to get there i would highley recommend oak haven.
Shane K: I had my beloved dachshund companion cremated after she sadly passed away. She was cremated at Oak Haven Crematorium in Rockford. I'm very pleased with the service they provided. Her cremains were returned to my local veterinarian for me to pick up. They came back to me in a nice carved wooden vessel, inside a purple velvet pouch that was embroidered with "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge." There was also a nice card included by them, with my dog's name and date of cremation. Also included was a nice card with the Rainbow Bridge poem printed on it. I was also delighted to see that they took the time to make a paw print from her in a round piece of clay. I wasn't expecting that to be included in the standard cremation, but I was certainly very happy they did that. I have since placed her cremains in a personalized urn. That said, the wooden box they return the ashes in is a very nice display piece in case you might not be able to afford an urn or need time before deciding on one. There hadn't been any reviews online yet for Oak Haven, so I wanted to take the time to write one for everyone else to read, should they be in need of deciding how to lay their loved pet to rest. I can say with full honesty that I am very pleased with the service and the dignity with which they return a pet's cremains. I truly believe they went above and beyond what I had expected. Thank you Oak Haven.

Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care: what do users think?
Joel Vogel: After my mothers passing and a horrible experience with a different Funeral Home I called Michigan Cremation & Funeral services. I highly recommend them! Working with Brent was great, he was exceptional! He was kind and patient and worked with me on every aspect every step of the way. I was beyond satisfied, thank you!
Rebecca Lyle: Extremely quick to respond to all forms of communications and made the experience less stressful. Everyone we worked with was courteous and caring through the entire process.
Cecile Wooden: Thank you for taken care of our Loved One.
Denise A. Kleis: When my husband passed at home on hospice care, the original funeral home that hospice had set up prearrangements with decided they would not travel to pick up the body at that time. Last minute arrangements were made with Michigan Cremation and Funeral and I found it to be a complete blessing in disguise. The gentlemen that came to transport his body were kind and caring, draped him in the flag and thanked him for his service to our country, was completely unexpected. The next morning I received a call from Meghan who was beyond professional an compassionate. She took care of retrieving Tom’s Army discharge papers, pre-wrote the obituary, and was there for me every step of way in a time that I needed help the most. When I picked up his ashes Meghan was there to personally go over every form with me, made sure I received the VA burial flag, gave me a certificate of appreciation for his military service that included a swatch from the flag that draped his body during cremation, and carried the burial flag to my car. In my hardest time of life with the loss of my husband, Michigan Cremation was the most helpful place ever. They are so caring and compassionate for the family of the loved ones lost that I would recommend them to anyone!!
Mike Alkema: Very happy with with the services we selected for my mother in law. Brent & Meghan were caring, compassionate and affordable.
Derek Moore: Very clean and respectful.
Michael Brown: My family and I highly recommend Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care. We worked with Meghan Kehr and she was so helpful with explaining everything and truly making a difficult situation as easy as possible. We would also like to show appreciation for the 2 gentleman who came to pick up my father upon his passing. They were very kind and respectful asking if we needed more time or needing to wait for anyone else to arrive. Also my mother really appreciated the beautiful quilt they used to cover him.
Will L: On March 19,2022 I lost my amazing, caring, loving & beautiful Mother 😢 During this difficult, sad & painful time Brent was very helpful & patient with me as this was a very heartbreaking & hard time. He shared a story of his loss in trying to comfort me. As this was a sad day & moment he did an amazing job with my mother's service!!! So Brent I want to take this moment to Thank You once again for all your help & dedication. Blessing's to you & your love one's!!!! The Medina's ❤️
Elsie Anne Owings: This organization handled the cremations for both of my parents. I had planned to prearrange my own cremation through them, but will probably go with a different organization. The actual cremation was nicely done, but that is subcontracted to Muskegon. The bodies were picked up promptly, also subcontracted to an off-duty EMT.That leaves the paperwork and communication, which led to several frustrations at difficult times.First, I had submitted the vital information on both parents in advance, but when the deaths occurred, the person taking the call had no access to that paperwork, leaving me scrambling to find Social Security numbers etc. with the body still in the house. (This was made worse by the fact that only the hospice nurse could talk to them. I could not speak to them directly on the phone, so all spellings and information had to be hollered to the nurse and then repeated to the office. All of that could have been avoided if their personnel had after-hours access to the original paperwork or computer entry.)Then I ordered a headstone and had to fill out veterans' paperwork at the monument company, only to discover that the funeral home already had those forms filled out but had not informed me.Finally, we had the ashes interred, and the paperwork for that was absolutely illegible. The funeral home blamed it on multiple FAXes and said they could not correct it because they did not have access to the original. (None of the FAXes were to or from me.)Looking for a lower-stress option. If you go through this company, submit the vital information in advance, but KEEP A COPY FOR YOURSELF so you can hand it to the nurse at time of death. (And keep an eye on the nurse to see what she lists as the cause of death. The nurses often just put something like COPD even if it's wrong.) Good luck!Update: Nearly two years after my review, Michigan Cremation replied: "...restrictions of meeting face to face during the state ordered shutdowns due to COVID-19 may have added to the confusion at the time of William's passing."This brings up a new question: Who is William? I do not have, nor have I ever had, a relative named William. My parents were Richard and Elsie. Mom died in 2018. Dad died on January 11, 2020. COVID had barely entered the USA at that time, and no restrictions were in place in Michigan yet. Those restrictions were in place by the time the cremains were interred in late summer, but not during the early days after Dad's death. My recommendation remains the same: clients should be advised to keep copies of all paperwork submitted to the funeral home because that information may not be available at the time of death. (Dad did not die in the middle of the night. He died at about 4 p.m., but it was on a Saturday.) Clients should also be aware that interment paperwork may be illegible. The cemetery caretaker said it was definitely the worst he had ever seen.
Denise Murray: Professional and kind.
Mim Carter: I am beyond pleased with the respect, professionalism, care, and comfort that Megan provided as she walked me through the cremation process for my Mom. Megan went above and beyond for me, and genuinely shows how much she truly cares for people even at the end of life.
Susan Hilden: Our experience with Charlene was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond for us handling all of our needs! She is incredibly compassionate and understanding! She is in the right profession!
peter vincent: Meghan was wonderful, professional and very efficient in handling my family member's needs. What could have been be a dreadful time, became an unforgettably memorable process. Thank you.
Chelsea B: I made my first call to Michigan Cremation And Funeral in the middle of the night only an hour after I had learned of my mothers unexpected passing. With it being after hours I was told I would recieve a call back shortly from someone to better assist me. I recieved a call back from Charlene in less than 3 minutes. From the get go she was extremely helpful in explaining the process and what my options were. She was incredibly patient with me as I tried to explain the nature of my call in between sobs and was understanding when I asked her probably 100 times to repeat what she had just said so I could be sure I was understanding everything with my clouded mind. She then followed up that same night with an email of everything we had discussed to be sure I had all of the information i needed and even called the next afternoon to check in with me. Through every step of the process she made sure to keep in constant contact either by email or phone to keep me informed of what was happeing and she was always willing to answer any questions I had whenever I had one come up. I was also able to complete all of the paperwork via email which was fablous since I live just over an hour away. I did end up running into a few hang ups with other people at DHS and social security and even through all of that Charlene made sure to help in anyway she could, including faxing documents repeatedly for me to the various offices that were giving me issues. She was honestly a breath of fresh air during this whole stressful and difficult situation and I cannot say thank you enough. Even the hard parts were made lighter and during the waiting period I had to go through with DHS I felt comfortable knowing my mother was in Charlene's care.
Robin Brown: Our family has needed the services of Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care three times in the last two years. Each time they have been caring, helpful, and always professional. They cared for our loved ones with the utmost respect and supported and the family in whatever way they could.
Julia Vanderwall: Charlene went above to help with my sister's unexpected death. She answered every question, phone call, email, and concern we had during this difficult process. Took it into her hands to help write the obituary and much more. She was professional, compassionate and so understanding. couldn't have done this without her.
Katie Nix: Losing a loved one is always hard, and dealing with the aftermath can be even harder. Our situation after losing our loved one was very tumultuous. Charlene made sure she did everything she could for us. She is amazing. Her job was not easy and she handled it so well. Everything ended up being perfect thanks to her and everyone here. Kyle Brewer and I will forever be grateful for everything they did for us.
Scot VanVleet: This is my second time using Michigan cremation for a loved one and I am very pleased with the service they offer. Megan does a great job on details and offers very helpful advice during the planning process. I would highly recommend them for your loved one.
Cheyenne Brown: From the man who picked up my father who demonstrated so much patience, kindness, and respect to the customer service I have received throughout this entire process, it would be impossible to ask for better customer service, compassion, or assistance. Charlene is truly a silver lining to a horrible experience.
Selina Ramirez: We had an unexpected passing which made things overwhelming. Michigan cremation was incredibly responsive and answered all the questions we had about the process. They were very kind and understanding while also providing professional service. We are grateful we chose them for our mom’s care.
Taylor Olson: MCFC was the third funeral home I reached out to. I wanted to find a funeral home I was comfortable with and MCFC did that. I worked with Meghan, she was so kind. Meghan did not rush us to make decisions, walked us through the whole process and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. The interior of the building was welcoming. It smelled of brewing coffee. After losing my husband, being in a fragile state of mind, I am so happy I choose to work with MCFC.

Got my moms' remains serviced and death certificates ordered and delivered in a few days so I could take her home with me as I live out of state. Nice waiting room while waiting for the cremains, cute upsell options for urns and keepsakes but absolutely zero hard sell. Incredibly thankful I went with Simply Cremation.
