Brent VanAartsen: I’ve been a life long customer of Brinks but no more. Wanted to purchase one yard of 1-2 inch stone but my truck could only carry half yard at a time. I asked if they could scoop half of it in my truck and come back later for the other half. I was told that I could purchase a yard of stone and watch them load and stop when I was at my trucks limit. So basically half a yard for the price of one. I was told that if that was not acceptable I could shovel the half yard into my truck. Walked out and said that I would give my business to someone that better accommodates my needs. That would be Birch Tree Bark and Stone. They totally accommodated my needs and were very pleasant. I will never go back to Brinks

Brian Thomas: Called Brink to have some bark hand installed around my house. I estimated yardage too high, but because the crew kept good track, I only paid for what they used. David and Bryce did a great job on the install. They were very thorough, using pitch forks to place as compared to just dumping it out. They also hand spread around the plants and bushes. Once they were done, they broomed off the driveway as well as several large rocks in the landscape and then raked up anything in the yard. These two young men worked very hard and did a fantastic job. I will definitely use Brink again.

stan dejong: Brinks is or should be the only place people should call for Wood Chips. They are always expanding like Screened Top Soil! Meaning all the soil your buying won’t have Rocks, wood, etcAll set to use!

Tracie Rich: We made an order online to be delivered by the Comstock Park Menards. The order went through, we paid it and picked a day based on the calendar THEY provided to us online for it to be delivered. Then promptly got a text stating the delivery would be 1 week longer than the date we picked. So we called the store and was basically told, sorry about your luck, nothing we can do to help you. So they caused the problem but offer NO solution other than go someplace else......so we went someplace else and won't EVER come back!!
David Hunter: We had a $350 rebate, which we redeemed and in addition we spent $400 more. We had $150 delivery fee as part of our total. We decided to cancel the delivery and were told by the GM that because we used a rebate on part of our order, we had to get the fee back as an in store rebate. This is a disgusting business practice and I strongly urge everyone to steer clear of this greedy corporation. The reputation of Menards is already poor, but this is low even for them.

Frank: This is a nice Menards location with friendly staff, lots of inventory, and a clean facility. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their online order pickup needs quite a bit of work. It's in the very back corner of the store with no signage at all inside that directs you to it. The emailed receipt could've easily instructed me to drive to the back, but it didn't give any details and it was a confusing experience overall.

Jeremy Warner: The most unprofessional and rude management. They enjoyed saying my botched delivery had nothing to do w them. They sub their deliveries to the cheapest drivers and that is reflected in their lack of ability to deliver anything in a professional manner. So if you go there make sure you haul your supplies if you want your items to arrive undamaged as well as your dwelling.
Cheryl Pulsipher: Most employees were friendly but not helpful. You want cinder blocks have fun looking for the correct ones they're all mixed together. Bring your muscle, employees didn't help putting blocks on the cart. Cashier tried to charge me 4 times the amount. The manager came over about something unrelated but corrected her error, she was not happy. Don't be mad at me, do your job right and don't get snotty with customers, because that's more than likely why the manager came over. Otherwise the store was clean and well stocked.

The aisles were a mess and the cashier I had was terrible; rolled her eyes and made rude comments about me to other customers. Even when I had to come back, she continued the behavior. The guy at the customer service desk, however, was very nice, so good customer service does exist. Still, I'll get what's needed at another store next time.

It was later in the day so the mower could not be ready to take that day, which was totally understandable.
