Elizabeth Kent: I had big expectations for Cakabakery, but I was extremely disappointed. Initially the interactions were pleasant. The start of disappointment was a week before our wedding we were asked to change our order/flavors. Next, was the fact that no box was left to pack up the remaining cake so it got destroyed as we tried to make shift a take home box. Lastly, several of our guests complained that the cupcakes were dry. All around not a good experience and would not recommend them.

Regina Ramos: My wedding was 10.8.22. I ordered a small wedding cake and a dessert bar with vanilla vegan cupcakes, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and Rice Krispy treats dipped in chocolate. Jason's baking skills are AMAZING and everyone raved about how delicious everything was. He also delivered them to the venue. Sadly I had to give them 3 stars because my wedding cake was made incorrectly. I asked for a naked cake with berries and we just had a naked cake without anything. My wedding planner just put our cake topper on it. When we had our tasting, I felt very ignored because the staff was more occupied with chatting with their friends and the associate who was taking my order kept rushing me. She kept saying "we do this all the time". I know she was taking notes but the finer details were not documented. My advice to couples, make sure you document everything, especially how you want your cake to be decorated. I was not offered compensation for the mistake and I didn't feel the need to ask for money back because I was pleased with the taste of the product and the delivery went smoothly.

Hassan Saleh: The maple cinnamon roll is amazing, cupcakes are good too. The cookie seemed bette cold than warm and to top it off the staff were super friendly and the space is really neat. Enjoy!

It was super moist, not too sweet, and still really fluffy. They were really considerate when working with us on the design, and they nailed it.

Casey Hall: I used them for a few Birthday cakes (within a year I’ll add) so had confidence when placing an order for another birthday cake, MONTHS ahead, only to have them not hold my order because they didn’t know the flavor I wanted. They never attempted to reach out to me other than ONE single email which was at the time I was placing the order. Terrible business practice on their end, especially when you’re dealing with things like specialty birthday cakes.

I highly recommend this crew, when I was in the store they offered to help me bring the cakes to my car. When you use them, feel free to let them be creative with the design. We needed a gluten free cake, and it was so delicious I wanted to eat more of it after we did the initial cut.They also decorated it beautifully with real flowers. I made a mistake and forgot to ask the florist to set aside flowers for the cake, and our bakery delivery person refused to leave until we received the flower decorations on our cake that we had paid for. We very much appreciated that!

Back then I was looking for a high quality gluten free cakes and was so impressed that I never went anywhere else.One of the things that I particularly loved was being able to call them up with cake specs and a general theme (in the past examples of themes have been gaming, puppies, etc for my kids' cakes) and they would make something great. Just one masterpiece after another.I did the same thing recently. I called them up a few days before the event and asked if they could make a cake. They couldn't in that amount of time. Fair enough, so I moved the event to a week later when they said they could have the cake done.I asked for a "bakery" theme and honestly I didn't care what it looked like. They could have done an outline of a mixing spoon with "Happy birthday" on it and I would have been over the moon. I verbalized this on the phone to the person taking the order. I said "I don't care what it looks like; you guys always do a good job; literally anything is fine." The employee asked that I email a photo for inspiration. I said I would try to do that asap, but that honestly anything is fine.I went through the entire ordering process. They had all my contact information. No one ever said anything about prepaying.After I got off the phone I proceeded to have one of the worst weeks of my life. The bakery is obviously not at fault for this, but what it meant was that I completely forgot to send the email.When I went to the bakery to pick it up and they simply hadn't made it at all!They said that it was my fault for not prepaying and not sending the email. Sending the email is completely on me, but not prepaying is completely on them. I had said many times over "literally anything is fine." The worker offered to "whip something up real quick" for me and I just thought to myself "why couldn't you have done that a week ago when I originally wanted the cake? That's what I literally asked you to do in so many words."No call, no follow up, no cake. Won't be back.

Google says you can "order online" with a link, and the only option available is to call. I called and could not order. What's the difference if I pay for it and it sits there for 20 minutes? Just would have made a stressful day way easier for me.
