601 Bond Apartments: what do users think?
Kathryn Bules: The staff is so helpful and I love the building! The apartment, amenities, and location are great.
Rebekah Hartman: I was at 601 Bond for one year and do wish I didn’t have to relocate states for work, because I would have renewed my lease! Like any property management, there were some stressors with management BUT the leasing staff and maintenance were above par.In particular, Erin was a phenomenal leasing agent and was genuine, kind, and relationship-oriented. She was always thoughtful and remembered little things that made giant impressions. She is also creative and made the space fun to live in.Mark was basically my favorite (shh) and addressed maintenance concerns immediately, no matter how unimportant they seemed to me. He always had treats in his pocket for resident dogs and literally got on his knees to pet dogs, which was sweet. He made me feel heard and safe.Yes it’s an expensive property, but the views, amenities, neighbors, and especially the location made it worth it. I made so many great friends, even a new best friend, while at 601. I will miss it!
Austin Gabriel: Absolutely beautiful building, fantastic staff, and great location in downtown Grand Rapids. Very dog friendly area with lots to do! Erin was my leasing consultant and she was so helpful!
David Holmes: Looking to move in the future and decided to look around, came across 601 and Icon on bond. The staff there are very professional and friendly. They were able to answer all my questions and made my apartment search an easy one by being helpful in recommending the perfect apartment for my for my needs.
Kyle Sherwin: I’m now on my second lease at 601 bond and it has been a great living community. Staff goes above and beyond to answer questions and issues promptly. Abigail has been super helpful with any leasing questions and always being a friendly face to the residents here. Best part is how quiet the building is and those views from the rooftop. Would recommend living here
Catherine Hemmer: Beautiful apartment complex with great staff. Bright and airy apartments with stunning views. Fairly quiet building. Nice amenities as well. Walkable to a few shops and restaurants along the river. Highly recommend.
Jorden Simmonds: We just moved into 601 Bond and absolutely love it! The apartment, facilities, location, and views are amazing. Everyone in the complex is very friendly and we already feel so welcomed into the community. Siana was our leasing consultant and she was so helpful throughout the entire process! The application and move in process was extremely easy. We could not be more pleased with our new home!
Noel Tavarez: 601 Bond is an amazing place to live! I love the atmosphere and the leasing process was super easy. The leasing consultant that you work with is super friendly and super helpful. The apartments are super spacious and modern. I love the automatic lights in the bathroom, closet and laundry section in my floor plan. It is energy saving but also cost effective! The coffee shop near by is amazing and has such great options. I love how you don’t hear any foot traffic in the hallways or in your apartment. They provide shopping carts for grocery runs from your car to your unit which I think was a brilliant add on. The other residents are very nice and respectful. I know I made a great decision living at 601 Bond. I know reviews are often challenging because you want accurate information and not just like everything is perfect. The only concern I would have is that the only option for internet access is with AT&T and the view on the lower levels aren’t as great as the higher ones. But that’s really it so I can’t really complain much. If you’re looking to have a downtown apartment with great amenities, great food/bar/coffee options near by as well as loud at all this is the spot!!!!!!
Matt David: I moved into 601 Bond at the end of the summer (2020) and even amidst the craziness, I absolutely love it here! Christy has always been great from the start getting everything situated for me and feeling welcome to the new area. Love the rooftop and workout center and living walking distance from downtown is a huge plus.
Rayanda Jones: Great location for GRCC students and amazing staff!
Carly Jacobs: Living at 601 Bond was incredible! The views are to die for, the amenities are amazing (the rooftop and sky lounge are my personal favorite), and having Sweetwaters right downstairs is such a convenience! Christy was always such a huge help whenever we needed her, and continuously went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Highly recommend 601 Bond to anyone who is looking for that downtown living atmosphere!
Samuel Collier: I've been living at 601 Bond for about 10 months now. Great views, facilities, and staff. Christy in the Leasing Office is always super helpful. She's addressed any questions or issues I've had promptly and effectively. Her kindness/positive attitude is contagious.
Candace Nixon: I have been living at 601 Bond for a little over 3 months, and I absolutely love it! I searched for weeks for the perfect place to live, and I would’ve shorted myself if I had not chosen here. The amenities are amazing, and the views are actually unparalleled. I cannot thank Christy enough for all of her help in my move-in process and always being a smiling face to chat with. She truly went above and beyond, and I know she will for you too. You cannot go wrong living here!
Travis TenBrock: Living here is great! Christy, Carly, and Abigail are all incredibly fun and friendly. They've been so helpful in the moving process and helping whenever needed along with Mike in maintenance. You guys are the best, thank you!!
Hansika Narayan: I live here with my partner and dog and we have loved this apartment. Our unit is beautiful with all new appliances. There’s a great roof for grilling and gym. And most importantly it’s walking distance of the Spectrum hospitals which is very convenient for work. Carly was especially helpful in us finding this place, and the entire staff is very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this building for anyone looking for an apartment in Grad Rapids!
Rob Burr: 601 Bond is an awesome place to live and I would recommend it to any one looking to move here. I recently moved out due to relocating but I lived here for a full year and have no complaints. The finishes are top notch and the units have a full size VENTED washer and dryer which is super hard to find in any apartment. I never had any noise issues with people above or next to me either it was always super quite. Also as far as the rooftop area goes there is just nothing like it in the Grand Rapids area. It is the perfect to place to hang with friends or host a party with amazing views of the city. When I moved out Christy and Carley were very helpful and accommodating to my needs...I have no complaints they are awesome!
Wendy Jacobs: My daughter recently moved to this location. When visiting, I was very impressed with the look of the property and the amenities that are offered. The apartment has a nice layout, with very pleasing aesthetics! If I were to relocate to Grand Rapids, this property/location would definitely be a top consideration! Very convenient, quick and easy highway access, too!
Celia Sang: Friendly staff that are willing to help and beautiful apartments!
Monica Thibodeau: I recently moved into 601 Bond and cannot say enough about the staff and community here. Christy, Carly and Abigail made my leasing and move-in process effortless and enjoyable--plus they always have a treat ready to give to my dog. Would highly recommend!
Sydney Spellis: My husband and I have lived here for a little over a month, and we love it! Great location, modern style apartments, and very dog friendly!!
Kevin Peterson: I am excited to finally move in to my new apartment. Lindsey from Hayman Co. has been extremely helpful in the process!!

Heritage Place Apartments: what do users think?
Shay Kardell: What happened to 1st months rent and last months rent and then you have a roof over your head? This corporation hoax that has taken over where you have to pass a credit check, drug test, and your first born before your even considered for housing. It's a circus with how many hoops you have to jump through. This review could have stayed off of Google had there not been a lying response to me over email. I brought up the late response and was sent (Sorry if you didn't get our last 6 emails
Jessica Gaffney: Great place to call home 🏡
John Hockenberry: Lived here since November of 2019.If I was writing ads for this building I would say simply that it brings the character of Heritage Hill to modern apartment living while completely blending into the gorgeous neighborhood. What no one even mentions is how its location at the top of College Hill gives it some of the best views in the city at a fraction of the cost of a glass box space like River House. Inside the building is a happy community of people of all ages. Management goes out of its way to leverage its nearby properties (swimming pool) to enrich the community. Pet owners enliven up the place and the zoning restrictions on parking and trash disposal that were a huge-political firestorm that nearly derailed the whole building have been addressed by management. Maintenance is swift and responsive. The building's original owners didn't fully appreciate the maintenance difficulties of a "we love pets" policy. Having lived in a building in Brooklyn New York with a similar policy and easily 5 times the size I can attest to how diligently current management is addressing and upgrading existing facilities to keep the grounds and interior maintained. Management is approachable and friendly. The backyard terrace and grill space has tons of potential and even now is a lovely sunny place to read, work, have a football party or even a birthday celebration. It needs an upgrade but management recognizes that and having something to look forward to besides increasing rent in these times is a bonus if you ask me.Complaints about code repairs having workers barging into apartments mystify me. I have always gotten advance warning and each time someone has come in I have made a new friend. In this prickly time when people would rather text someone they've never met than meet the real person who lives next door, Heritage Place is a refreshing and fully modern residence trying to bring people together.
Zach Amen: I love the apartments! They are are beautiful and set up perfect for me and my child! Tara Medema made the process easy and was very prompt on replying to any questions I had!
Tai Hornsby: The area is pretty walkable with some good food closeby. Everyone here is super nice, the apartments have great appliances and the staff helped me out of a tough situation. Thanks Tara!
Daniel Thuma: The apartment itself is nice. The appliances are nice stainless steel and updated. The floors and carpet are clean, but everything is gray! (Wall paint, flooring, carpet, countertops.)Parking is not worth it, the cheaper option (25$ a month!) is further away, but they sold more passes than spots available. The closer, more expensive option (40$) is overpriced, and there are always spots available. Except management threatened to tow vehicles. The amenities are not worth it, the pool is not a part of the building, it is at least half a block away at an associated apartment. They charge monthly (10$) for bike storage! The gym is a small room with a treadmill, free-weights, and a cable machine, kinda lousy. The package delivery room is completely unorganized. The maintenance team while doing code compliance updates were unprofessional and amateurish, barging into the apartment when they want to with nearly no notice. No schedule and always leaving a half finished job. It has taken them weeks to complete what any contractor should be able to finish in less than a day.The building is advertised and priced as a luxury building with great amenities. But it feels like the price is much too high!
Dylan Limbacher: I love living at Heritage Place! I have lived here a few months and I love it. Disha and Tara do such an amazing job making sure the place is clean and everybody is happy! My view is amazing and the kitchens are beautiful! Best place to live!
Jesse Hoffman: Heritage place is such an amazing place to live. Disha and Tara did such a great job making sure everybody is so happy living here. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else :-)
Tysheena Shepard: This is a great place to live. I had a wonderful experience working with Tara. She always made herself available to help me find an apartment and I'm happy it was heritage place. I sent my paperwork in a couple hours and Tara called me the next day saying everything was finalized. It was a very quick process. I couldn't have done this without her help. She is amazing! I haven't had any issues at all. The apartment is in a very nice, safe neighborhood.
Jean Park: Before coming to Grand Rapids, I lived in New York City for 20 years and experienced a wide array of apartments and management companies. Heritage Place and PURE management set a new standard of living by far! You get to enjoy the modern amenities of a brand new low rise apartment building tucked away in a campus-like setting, while enjoying the pedestrian-friendly scenic Heritage Hill neighborhood. The apartments are thoughtfully designed and appointed with energy efficient appliances, the building is IMMACULATELY maintained and pandemic rules for the safety of residents are enforced with exceptional professionalism. PURE truly treats its residents like owners, not renters. I would have been happy to stay indefinitely if not relocating out of state. Kudos!
MacKenzie Kerkstra: An amazing building with great staff. The management/leasing team was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our entire stay. The apartments are spacious and have brand new features. The view from the top floor, corner unit is unbeatable, especially come sunset. Most importantly, the units seem almost sound proof. We NEVER heard our neighbors next to us or below us. The maintenance team was also great; we had a few issues right when we moved in and they were always fixed within the same day and the management team was sure to make things right, in any way they could for the inconvenience. Also, the building is ALWAYS clean and smells brand new.
Jenna Palmer: I would not suggest living here..I had many issues throughout my one-year lease. For instance, there is minimal parking so I gave my car's information to staff on three separate occasions, I never received the pass and my car was eventually tagged to tow. On top of this, the elevator in this brand new building breaks down at least once a month and when I first moved in they frequently had issues with the main door not working. Lastly, when I went to schedule my move-out inspection to make sure I get back my security deposit I was told " I just talked with our team and you’re all set." Then they proceeded to charge me $100 for patches on the wall that I had used gray primer on instead of white primer and patch on the door that had peeled off. The facilities are pretty and modern but it is NOT worth the headache of dealing with poor communication with staff and frequent breakdowns of vital equipment.
Cameron Thompson: I’ve really enjoyed living here this past year! Super nice modern and clean apartments, the location is perfect. Management is very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
Ethan Walworth: Awesome modern place to live within Heritage Hill. Walking distance to downtown as well as heritage restaurants. Dog friendly bonus.

Gateway at Belknap Apartments: what do users think?
Greg Wickstrom: The first time here seemed ok.
Peyton Kerns: I would avoid this place if I was you. The leasing staff made a mistake on my move out date (was told to move out 1 month early) and sent the notice to vacate form to me. I was then told that I was responsible to pay rent for an entire month that I would not be living at the apartment, even though Gateway made the mistake in the notice to vacate form. I am now stuck with 2 rent payments this month, and the apartment staff refuses to answer my calls or respond to my messages. This is very childish of them, and definitely not how you treat your residents.Next, I lived in the unit outside the trash dumpster, which attracted many unwanted people who disrupted the peace. There were people digging through the trash, breaking glass bottles, and leaving a mess almost every night. It was very annoying having to deal with this. I brought this issue up to management and was ignored (not surprised). This apartment complex really looked good on paper, and I am very sad that I have to write this review. We all make mistakes, and it would’ve been so easy to make things right. I hope that I save some of you the time of day when you are searching for apartments. Take my advise and find a different place to live.
Tyler Platto: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessEveryone in the office is super nice and if they are not in the office when you contact them, they get back to you in a timely fashion.
Elizabeth Nicholl: Never will and nor I ever try to climb/crawl up those stairs.
Markel James: Office staff is amazing. Wonderful ladies to work with and they are very nice people.
Jamie William Zeigler ll (Ziggy): Very nice layouts
Elizabeth Schwartz: It's a pretty good looking place
Kaylan Asper: I have been living at Gateway for a few years now. The building is clean and secure. Disha and Courtney have both been very helpful and offered solutions or put in work orders for me. Additionally, Devon has done a great job quickly and thoroughly addressing work orders. All three staff members have been very professional, responsive, and kind. While the building is generally quiet, it is not uncommon to hear neighbors and sometimes dogs. No apartment is perfect but I find Gateway is a good value and a pleasant place to live.
Emily: Admittedly, the location and interior at Gateway are great. It’s a prime area and beautiful apartments. However, my husband and I have had multiple issues living here. We live on the front of the building and while the the views are great, the highway is SO loud. Every morning at 5 am we’re woken up by the start of the morning commute. That noise continues on all day. There is no recycling, which at this price point is a huge deal breaker. Recycling is very important to me and the fact it isn’t offered here is disgraceful. There is convenient bicycle storage in the parking garage, but we have had TWO of our securely chained bikes stolen on separate occasions with the chains cut. When reported to management, the response was “oh we don’t have cameras in that area” ...really?? We pay $50 a month to park a vehicle and store bikes with no security cameras? Save your money. Look elsewhere to live.
Taylor Ellison: Devon has done a great job of following up on maintenance requests. Extremely grateful for his expertise and special thanks for the dishwasher installation!
Mark J Allen: Decent place but it could totally use a restaurant.
Kaytlyn Honore: EDIT: The gateway was overall a good place to live. But near the end of my term living there, I had many questions for the office and the maintenance man, Devon. When I called, I never got a call back to answer my questions. I ended up having to call another apartment managed by the same company, to get the contact information from one of the employees higher up in the company. The lack of communication was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. You would think that even though a tenant is moving out, that the management would still like to provide wonderful service, so when the tenant leaves, they could share good things about the management company and the apartment building. I used to refer everyone looking for an apartment downtown to the gateway. But now I don’t have a good taste left in my mouth about this apartment complex.
Stephanie Hanson: Clean, secure, updated, quiet.
Eniola: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueDevon is awesome!
Annie LeClere: I just recently moved into Gateway Apartments at Belknap and I cannot recommend them enough! The staff is incredibly helpful and responsive. The apartment itself is beautiful, a great location, and the move-in experience was seamless.I can't wait until the COVID-19 restrictions lift so that I can experience all of the great benefits including the community and social events, and living so close to downtown. Thanks, Gateway! You've made my move phenominal!
Connor Kerndt: I have never written a google review before, however I feel compelled to do so after the exemplary treatment received by the staff here at Gateway at Belknap Apartments. Particularly, the responsiveness, professionalism, and pragmatism that Devon from maintenance exhibited cannot be understated. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he made it to our apartment promptly, even in the evening after normal business hours to help engineer solutions for difficult problems. Devon epitomizes the type of support you should receive from a leasing agency, but most agencies fall short on.Moving into a new city and apartment can be a stressful time, however Devon, Disha, and Courtney coordinated time-sensitive assistance while maintaining praiseworthy communication. Please consider these apartments if you are looking for a cohesive team of employees to optimize your experience as a resident, who truly want to ease your moving transition to a new place to call home. I would suggest this complex and apartments to my colleagues, friends, and family.
Kendall Stevens: I've been a resident of Gateway for about ~1 year and for the most part, I love it. Super close to medical mile which is incredibly convenient. The apartment itself is beautiful and well-maintained. We've had some struggles with communication with DTN management and getting things handled in timely fashions- with the exception of Devon. He basically runs the gateway property and we are so grateful for him. Feels like nothing would get done if he weren't around.Only other complaint is the lack of recycling- its 2019...Get with it Gateway.
Lexie Maroney: I've lived at Gateway for the past year and a half and have had mostly good experiences. The apartment complex is new and beautiful, close to the hospitals, and has great amenities like underground parking, dish washers, and in-unit washer/dryer. My biggest complaint is that there is often poor communication between DTN workers except for Devon, the sole worker at Gateway, and all of the tenants. It is hard to receive a call back when undergoing an issue as a majority of the staff works at satellite locations. Devon, however, is wonderful and does a great job of managing any issues the tenants may have even if they are not in his exact job description.
Geoff Minarik: Beautiful apartment and at a fair price. You definitely get what you pay for. Would love a bigger fitness center so I didn’t have to pay for a gym membership.
Carlie Vanklompenberg: I've been living at Gateway at Belknap for 3 months now, and I love it!The location is great, and the apartments are new and modern. The price is pretty affordable for the area and the newness of the apartment. Saisha was very helpful with helping us move in and answering all of my questions. Some downsides:-No recycling, this is very big for me, and I wish I would've known this before moving in. Please, DTN — add recycling.-There is only one location to throw away trash, and it's a hike away from our apartment.-Promised a coffee shop and restaurant within the apartment building, the sign says "coming 2018"... it's almost "2020." Wondering if this will actually ever happen?
Ion Popescu: Great location, not noisy even if its by the highway. Parking could be expensive if you don’t get a city permit(30$ a year). Walking distance to downtown. Disha made our move here very welcoming. Right after we moved in we had to meet Devon the maintenance guy. He is always on top of the things and very helpful. Anytime we had an issue he was there next day to fix it.

Barley Flats: what do users think?
Alexa A: My fiancé and I moved in back in September 2021 and just recently moved out as we are moving states. I wanted to wait until our lease ended to leave an honest review. Before we moved in, I was hesitant because of the lack of reviews, and there was no model apartment to see in person; however, we couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised by and impressed with Barley Flats. I was blown away by the management and maintenance here; they are amazing! It is a very quiet and clean community. I’ve only ever heard my neighbors a handful of times. The walls are thick, and if I didn’t know better, I would think we didn’t have any neighbors at all. It was best apartment I have ever lived in by a long shot, and if we weren’t moving states, we would be renewing our lease!
Lonnie Chamberlain: As you probably already know, life is all about the decisions you make, and you just have to hope and pray that they amount to something. In the words of Forrest Gump’s mother, life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re going to get. Fortunately, when moving here you’re almost certain to get an amazing staff who looks out for their tenants. Maintenance is snappy with requests and this is actually my first apartment where you don’t hear any footsteps upstairs which is a huge plus. The entire apartment gives me a hotel vibe and they take so much care of the appearance of this apartment. Moving here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. If you’re interested in moving here, make it easy on yourself and pull the trigger!

Fulton Place: what do users think?
TG: - Most of the early reviews on here are fraudulent, Fulton Place offered a prize to anyone who gave it a good google review.- Fees equating to $75-200 for random damages or if your apartment isnt up to managements standards.- Invasion of privacy as unit inspection notices are given less than 24hrs advance notice or not at all.-The management is an ever revolving door, I've been through 5 different managers in the short time I've lived here.- If you have a dog the waste stations are near always empty and maybe will get refilled a 7-10 days later.- Internet is hit and miss and and constantly having downtime and is one way except if you have a router.Theres more but this is a general picture from someone who has lived here for 4 years.
Benjamin Hall: Just told Fulton Place my aunt is in the hospital dying and it would be great if I could get one more day to move out so I have time to head over to the east side and see her off… their response: “we have people moving in next week so maintenance needs to be in there tomorrow to take care of things. You have to be out by today, sorry about your aunt.” Which is interesting because I remember I went through a whole month of push back and lease changes for me to move in because the people prior still weren’t moved out yet.My experience here at Fulton Place has been pretty terrible. Prior to this manager, who’s been here for only a month, the other one was fining people left and right with outrageous prices. I’ve seen her literally chasing and screaming at people across the parking lot, making people cry because she accused them of staying at these residence despite them literally just getting out of their car to drop stuff off. She broke many leases by having cars towed without warning when they rent the majority of their parking lot space out to the city, making them public property and the cities responsibility to ticket and or tow, not to mention the “free spots” or spots without signage are constantly being coned off because heaven forbid someone gets a free space to park for a day or overnight; if they don’t get towed. She showed no empathy or sympathy during the pandemic and went above and beyond to be hostile and confrontational with you to push you into leaving. That’s just been the management. As for the complex and amenities itself, it was built so fast and so cheaply that merely a few years later (now) it’s falling apart. Literally, a sprinkler cap fell on my head while I was in the kitchen prepping food. On windy days there’s a constant rattling because of the venting system they use for their washer and dryer set up. You can here when someone finishes going to the bathroom as the sound of water dumping and pipes rattling rings through the walls. Every wall is very out of square do to the design of the building, so even though you pay the same rate as someone next to you, they may have as much as 200 more square feet than you. You’ll find everything is a little warped (railings and such) and barely being held together with glue (vinyl baseboard in kitchen). Your fan will probably click as the switches used to regular the speed don’t function properly and the fans don’t stay balanced due to their proximity to the vent which leaves the fan blades with disgusting loads of lint and dust on them. The lofts in particular do not have windows that open, so the only source of true fresh air is that of what you get when you open your door. So expect your pets to run out or bugs and birds to fly in. The AC is good only if you don’t have a loft as the temperature between the loft and ground floor is so drastically different that I spent some nights on the couch because it was just to hot in my loft. There are little to no amenities and nothing as far as community perks that I’ve been able to take advantage of since I’ve been here. All in all, for $1455 a month I should have gotten a much better living situation and far more hospitality. I would not recommend living at Fulton Place or any other Rockford Property if they carry on the same treatment of their clients/residences as they do here.
Nicole VanLoon: Let me first preface that the apartments and location are great. Love the big windows, bathrooms are nice, close walk to downtown and the community is great. But its 80 degrees in my apartment right now because the A.C has went out again for about the 24 time since living here. At least once a month there is some kind of HVAC issue and im stuck sweating like a hog because the windows dont open. The mail room is also a completely mess to navigate. To their plus, they do have the shelves marked for what floor, but half the time there is just boxes all over and can take up to 5 minutes to find a package. But the A.C being out as often as it is, i cant justify over 3 stars without windows that open.
Elizabeth Ghekiere: The apartments are absolutely beautiful and let so much light in. Maintenance is incredibly friendly and works hard. However, the AC goes out ALL the time which is incredibly frustrating as someone who depends on getting enough sleep to function the next day. For the price of this place, I would expect this not to be such a frequent issue, or at least a reimbursement of some kind.
Courtney Kliss: We absolutely love our life at Fulton Place. After living here for 6 months, I can confidently recommend this building. Management and maintenance have both been professional, friendly, timely and easy to work with. We've only had minor things that needed to be fixed, everything has been in quality shape. We appreciate the secure package room, locked entrance on nights and weekends, and locked elevator/stairwell at all times. We feel safe and secure here! The environment is friendly and welcoming, very clean - and we have been thankful of the COVID policies of this property. Close proximity to GVSU, downtown, food, bus lines, bridge street market. Beautiful windows, nicely sized bathrooms, in-unit laundry, up to date appliances, plank flooring, what isn't to love? Parking and the windows not opening are the only two drawbacks but we quickly got used to both and love living here.
Uche: I loved living at Fulton Place, the apartment was nice and the neighbors were friendly. However, the property manager was an unprofessional and rude individual (we’ll call her Mesiree). At the start of my lease, my roommate and I had to move in 2 weeks past our original move-in date because property managers didn’t ‘anticipate’ us coming. Which is weird because we signed a lease that showed our move-in date - that was strike one for them.Strike two is when I moved out 5 months before the end of my lease. That’s when Mesiree told the person who was taking over my lease that my former roommate and I had ‘serious issues.’ But Mesiree didn’t know that I was friends with the girl who was taking over my lease (STOOPID). Mesiree told her that my roommate and I argued every day and almost got into a fight (this never happened). We had issues, but the physical altercation part was a reach. I’m a man of God.STRIKE 3, is when they made it extremely hard for me to get my security deposit after moving out. Mesiree sent my security deposit to my roommate who she knew I didn’t have a good relationship with. I asked Mesiree before the deposits went out if she could send my portion to my new address. She said, “no finance isn’t capable of doing that.” Really, Finance, can’t write two separate checks? I thought the issue was with Fulton Place’s unprofessional staff, but at this point Rockford Property Management needs a corporate wide audit. If you knew better, you’d do better.
Lane Wells: Due to Covid-19 my intended roommate lost their job and I was not going to be able to afford the two bedroom apartment I had intended to lease. The leasing agent was extremely understanding and very easy to work with. She did everything she could on her end to make it work, but in the end I wasn't able to live there. She refunded me my security deposit and released me from my lease. I had a very positive experience dealing with her and the company. I would recommend anyone to live here who is looking for responsible and sensible management.
Tyler Babbitt: A great place to live! The location is great, staff is helpful and the building is always clean. Also if you have a dog, they'll make a lot of friends very quickly. We love it!
Lauren Whitfield: Fulton Place provides beautiful apartments in a great location for an amazingly affordable price, what more could you ask for!
Mason Nichols: I lived at Fulton Place for a short period while I was househunting, and my experience was phenomenal. The staff was great, the apartment was modern and the entire building was clean. Excellent experience!
Hayden Visscher: Great place to live with great location. Short and easy walk to downtown and night life. Updated appliances. Maintenance always responds timely.
Anela Binkowski: Such a great place to live! They are always offering a variety of ways to engage with your building community! The staff is helpful and always on top with maintenance requests!
Katie Klepek: Very clean theoughout. Awesome space inside and outside the apartment with lots of natural light! Very close to downtown and lots to do in walking distance!
Jenny Bush: Great place to live! Very close to downtown area and easy walkability especially in the summer time! Love that they are a dog friendly community especially in downtown GR! Many apt complex’s don’t allow dogs but this complex does (even large dogs allowed)! You also get discounts at local business using their rock perks incentive program! 😊
Caleb McNitt: I’ve loved my time at Fulton Place! The facilities are incredibly nice and the team is always helpful.
Alyssa Snyder: So clean and open!
Bradley Barningham: Living at Fulton Place has been a great experience. It is especially handy, being a student, that it is located so close to GVSU. I am easily able to walk to classes. The building manager is very accommodating. She will work to make sure that any issue is resolved quickly. I plan on living here for the foreseeable future and recommend it to any student who has classes downtown!
Mikaela Santek: I love these apartments; very clean, aesthetically pleasing... but, very expensive, especially for parking in their parking ramp. Also, there’s like zero room for storage in the 2 bedroom units besides bedroom closets. I also wish we could open the windows!!! Other than that, I love living here.
Kyle Redmond: Proximity of location is amazing for upper level GVSU students! The apartments are also competitively priced!
Patricia Lynch: We love living here. Plenty of parking. Great place to walk our dog. Quiet neighbors. Whats not to love.
Matthew Hoffman: Decent place to live, convenient location walkable to downtown.Parking is not convenient, there are not enough spots in the parking structure for all and on-site parking is pay-to-park 24/7. The parking structure is $100/month which seems excessive for what it is.Internet is fast, good for gaming and streaming. There are two elevators but it seems only one is in use at a time, so wait times can be longer than expected.Packages are stored in a secure room and signed for by staff which is nice.Apartments are a good size and with a good view.Apartments are well isolated, I never hear neighbors other than when in the hallway. The main lobby and elevators can get messy on weekends.Overall could use improvements but a decent place to live. With a few improvements would be a great place.
