Megan Amante: WOW! I'm so happy to have some great authentic Chinese food in town. I just ate here for dinner for the first time today, and will definitely be back.The atmosphere is cute, comfortable, and clean. Service was friendly and competent. Food was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The back side of the menu is where it's at if you are looking to try something unique. The braised eggplant in soy was my favorite, but all the dishes we had were amazing! The spice level was great, and although prominent- didn't overpower the other flavors.I am genuinely excited to come back again soon and try some new things. I also suspect the classic American-Chinese dishes are pretty good, but I can't vouch for that yet.THANK YOU SO MUCH for choosing to incorporate authentic dishes on your menu, and for executing them so well. Was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in. I ordered General Tso chicken and it was prepared fast, hot and delicious! The flavor was on point with perfect spice /heat level. Greeter / server lady was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place for tasty freshly made food. I certainly plan on returning to try more dishes!

Daniel Schumaker: If you don't have much of a standard for Chinese takeout, I could see you enjoying this. It certainly is food. But their fried goods are absolutely soaked and dripping in oil, and their meats are so dry. I've never gotten food from them that tasted fresh. The rice was dry and crunchy. Overall it's just not up to my standards. There are a lot of places in West Michigan that offer better food at the same price and are more authentic. This really is just American food. I like the staff a lot, they're always friendly and they are always quick to get you you're food. I hate leaving such a negative review when they've been so nice but the food just isn't up to snuff. Sorry Hunan, but until you step up your game in terms of quality, two stars is the best I can give you 😞 I hope one day this place turns around because I love this area and only live a two minute drive away. But I would tell people to avoid eating here and instead go to Lai Thai Kitchen just a couple blocks away. They really put this place to shame.

Shella Ramos: My husband and I thought we would give this place a try since our go to Chinese restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. We ordered crab ragoon and egg rolls for our appetizer and they were soaked in oil. The shrimp with lobster sauce looked like a watery egg omelette with just 5 pieces of shrimp in it. It tasted nasty!!! Our fried rice had long black hair. I informed our waitress about the fried rice issue and she asked me if I wanted them to make another one but I refused. An older gentleman came to our table and had the audacity to tell me that he thinks it was my hair that was found in the fried rice. He was very rude and unprofessional about the entire incident, he was very sarcastic and offensive. He made it seem as though I put my hair in my food so I could eat for free. I was reading all the reviews for this restaurant, I came across one other customer review on long black hair and a roach in their food. I don't recommend this restaurant at all.

The staff were inattentive and rushed. The bill came too early before I had a chance to order a to-go item. I requested the item and thought she would just add it to my bill. Instead the manager came to our table and loudly announced "you need to pay for that!" I explained quietly that it was my intention and thought the waitress would add it. I felt like an uninvited guest. The food is not worth the headache. Used to be a great place, no more.

The Beef Bulgogi nachos were ok; the presentation was lacking, and the sauce was overpowering. They appeared to be understaffed on a busy Saturday, so the dining room and bathrooms were super clean, but the staff was friendly and the service was fast. They even waited for us to eat the nachos before preparing the Honey Toast, which was very kind and much appreciated.

The egg rolls came with sauce and it tasted like fruit punch! The egg roll was as dry Arizona heat! What little I ate is just sitting in my stomach like a brick. We got a menu in the mail after not going to Tea Garden in probably 10 years. Definitely not fresh tasting. It was kind of like a glorified frozen Chinese meal you might find at Costco or Sam's. Very disappointed. I'd say spend a few more $ and go to Grand Lakes in Breton Village or any number of restaurants on Division or Eastern south of 28th Street.

Sean Ferguson: Veggies were fresh, if a little repetitive across dishes (carrot, broccoli, onion, sometimes a green bean). They did a free add of tofu for one dish, very appreciated. The spiciness level of the Szechuan was nearly non-existent and I didn't get the telltale numbing typical of the genre. But, it was pretty tasty. The fried rice might be the best of the things we had, flavorful without that gross cheap oil flavor of so many other restaurants.

They have a variety of sauces they use for the dishes so everything doesn't taste the same. Veggies are fresh and not overcooked with a variety of meats, seafood or meatless. GG Taruc: I've been to dimsum places in NYC, Chicago and SF. I can say that the quality of the dimsum in WeiWei is very good and even better. We came on Sunday afternoon. They deserve a 5 star on the food but a 1 star on the exterior of the building and for using paper plates and plastic cutlery.. The tenants of this building should band together and get the landlord to keep the exterior clean. If the outside is well kept more people would visit this place. And that includes the other establishments. It's a bit unappetizing entering the building if it is unkempt. Also, the serving plates are paper plates and plastic utensils supposedly bc of the pandemic. I told the proprietor to please start using china. Until they do we are not going back.

Scott Hughes: The place felt dirty, the waitress was rude and rushed us to order food so that they could clean the kitchen. My water had black stuff floating in it and no refills were ever offered. The food was basic, the only thing that got them 2 stars was their dimsum, though I'm not sure it was made in house and they kept telling me no to the ones I wanted to order and kept choosing different ones, so I'm not entirely sure what I was eating.

Nick Brown: The portions were outstanding, the food was made fast and the cost fair. The rice was cooked well. However, the General Tso chicken was flavorless with no spice at all. The Crab Meat ragoons were under filled and seemed to be old. I would not recommend this food if you’re looking for an authentic meal. A quick fair priced meal is what you’re going to get.

Madison Nichols: The sesame chicken and the beef lo mein were very good! We usually order similar things whenever we get Chinese, and these dishes were just as good as other local places. Two things we were not impressed with:1. They don't offer orange chicken as a menu item2. The egg roll included with the meal option had maybe two shreds of cabbage in it. It was basically just a deep fried egg roll wrapper. Thankfully we don't love these anyway.Will return, regardless.
