Portions have gotten smaller over the years, but it's still plenty of food per person and always tastes great! The waiter kept going and going and a lot of tables and kept at a good pace. Food came out nice hot and fresh. The egg roll... My lord!! The egg roll!! Nice hot and crunch!! The bak choi was so crispy. It was not floppy at all. The general chicken actually had heat to it. You know when it says on some other Chinese place that it is "spicy" well this one had a kick to it. I got the steamed rice with mine which paired very nicely to the general sauce mmm and my husband had the fried rice which he said was really good. We had the egg drop soup which was so packed full of flavor. It had a hint of mushroom tint to it and had some chunks of mushrooms. The nice crunch from the onions. Soo good.. we will be going back to this impractical location. It was just that amazing.Kid-friendliness: There was a table beside us who had a small baby and the waiter on which we had interacted very kindly to the baby and the bus boy was on what they needed for the young lil one.
Lora Keena: Dietary restrictions: I would have given them a 0 instead of a 1 had it been an option. Asked for gluten free Beef and Broccoli for one of the four meals we ordered. The exceedingly rude woman on the phone said yes, they could prepare that, but it came with white sauce. I replied that white sauce would be fine. (I didn't even know they had a white sauce.) Long story short; there was no sauce and the order was entirely messed up. A $91.96 order with the extras. I called them about the situation. She denied saying anything about white sauce or messing up the order, was rude, and hung up on me. Then wouldn't take any more calls. Nice. How professional. Needless to say, we will find another restaurant.

〽 Ê: My Wife and I went to Dinner here at the Golden Wok on April 5th, 2023. We've been here before, and everytime it's been a great delicious experience. Right off the bat, the service was excellent. We were seated by the window, given 2 menu's, fresh ice water, and offered tea. We started this food experience off with a few appetizers. Fried Dumplings, Egg drop soup, and Crab Rangoon. All of them were excellent. They have the best Egg Drop Soup in Grand Rapids. For our main courses we ordered the House Lo Mein, and Curry Chicken w extra sauce. The Lo Mein was superb, but the Curry Chicken stole the show. Super flavorful and served hot. The waitress was informative and attentive with a friendly demeanor. They also offer a 5% discount if you pay in cash. We will be definitely be coming back again soon.

CK S: We have eaten here previously, never any issues, never anything above expectations either. Service has been somewhat slow at times, however usually when the place is busy. This last time we went there were maybe 10 people in the entire restaurant. It was not late at night, maybe about 6:15 or 6:30 upon our arrival.We were seated right away but waited at least 20-22 minutes for someone to come to our table. We are well aware of the situation that so many restaurants are dealing with as far as labor issues, so while the wait was irritating, we understood, however we could not understand why with so few people, no one would come over and let us know someone would be with us shortly.Eventually a server came over with her pad and pen ready. My wife mentioned ordering a drink. At that moment the waitress looked at my wife as if she had forgotten something, just a blank stare and after about 10 seconds she walked away never saying a word. As she walked away she grabbed some dirty dishes from a table and went into the kitchen. We thought maybe she was getting a drink menu or something. We laughed because we found it amusing she didn''t say anything at all.We saw her exit the kitchen with plates for other diners and she served them, then picked up more dirty dishes from another table and headed to the kitchen again. She came out one additional time and took an order from another table and disappeared into the kitchen yet again.At this point we had sat there for another 15 minutes (we didn't even have water), and finally decided to leave. We got up and walked out. As we passed the cashier's stand, the girl behind the counter had her face buried in her phone and never even looked up or acknowledged us leaving.Done. Not. Going. There. Ever. Again.By the way, Kitchen 67 was fantastic as usual.

The staff has always been super friendly every time we're there, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great. Absolutely go dine in for the lunch specials, it's the best deal and you get so much food for it. Their hot & sour soup is amazing, we get it every time and I've never had better at another Chinese restaurant. My personal favorite entree is the chicken & broccoli. It's a mild dish but real comfort food for me, and the broccoli is cooked perfectly every time where it's still got a good fresh snap to it and is never mushy. The fried dumplings are another fave, as I like that they're more of a bread wrapper than the pasta-like gyoza most places do.Takeout is always super quick and in all the years I've been going I can't ever remember them getting my order wrong. Dine-in is also recommended, I enjoy the nice quiet atmosphere they have.Seriously, I've tried 6 other Chinese places within reasonable driving range for me, and in this part of GR Golden Wok is way above them. Fantastic place!Vegetarian options: Various veggie dishes to choose from without meat.Parking: Usually plenty of open parking as it's part of a strip mall but not near anything else busy.

I have been coming here for several years and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. It may be a bit pricer than it’s competitors, but I’d say the extra cost is worth it. Orange chicken is usually my go-to at Chinese restaurants, and First Wok does it well. The lunch specials are a pretty good value in my opinion. The service has been reasonably efficient and has been friendly.

We typically get almost 2.5 meals out of one tray (we make several cups of rice at home to go with it.) Hard to get a single meal for 5 anywhere else for $55. We typically spend $70+ for pizza, or Chipotle etc.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options cannot all be guaranteed to vegetarian (they call the vegetables not vegetarian because of this) the sauces might have some meat/fish/oyster sauce. Their VEGAN dishes are vegan. We got a party tray of Vegan Bean curd. It was delicious! I ordered as a walk-in and set down to play a 15 min game on my phone. The party tray was ready in 8 min. It was packaged REALLY well. I fumbled a bit putting it in my car and tipped the tray about 60 degrees. The foil stayed put and nothing split. But it was in a cardboard box they provided so even if it had. . Would have been in the box.

Jennifer: First time diner's at P.F. Chang's out celebrating our son's graduation with a party of five.1. We asked the hostess for a booth. It was 8pm and the restaurant was only 20% full and there were many booths available. We were seated at a table for some reason instead.2. One of the two appetizers we ordered was cold when it should have been warm.3. The peppered steak and ceasar salad were both excellent.4. We ordered fried rice, to go with our meals, but this came out late after half of our party was almost finished eating.5. Our waiter was very nice and we tipped him appropriately (21%).6. As we were leaving the hostess was cleaning one of the front doors and did not even move to open the door for us to exit. She continued to clean the glass which came across as oddly rude.I worked in restaurants throughout my 20's from bars, low end to 5 star dining establishments. I have expectations based off of these experiences and unfortunately P.F. Chang's did not impress.
