Little Bird: what do users think?
Dan Holmes: If I could ever eat their food, I could tell you if it's any good. Three times I've went, and three times they said they were closing to clean up and would open later for dinner. All three times I came back and they still weren't open.

Ryan: A Memorable Evening at The Little Bird!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at The Little Bird, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and impeccable service, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere at The Little Bird is a perfect blend of intimate and inviting, with tasteful décor and soft lighting that create a cozy dining experience. I appreciated the carefully curated artwork on the walls and the delicate bird-themed touches that brought the restaurant's concept to life. The menu offered a wide range of delectable dishes, each crafted with an artful blend of flavors and textures that cater to a variety of tastes. I was delighted to find a selection of appetizers, mains, and desserts that showcased the creativity and skill of the chef. One of the highlights of the evening was trying their signature cocktail, the "Feathered Fizz." This refreshing blend of gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and sparkling wine was a true delight. The presentation was stunning, with a delicate feather garnish that truly embodied the essence of The Little Bird. The service throughout the night was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions I had. They made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.Overall, The Little Bird offers a unique and memorable dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night out. The combination of excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and a diverse menu made my visit truly unforgettable. I can't wait to return and try more of their exquisite offerings!

Rose Hetrick: Wonderful lil restaurant with a bar. A gem to the city I'm sure. My husband had the Smash Burger and loved it!! Also, a champagne velvet beer, very good. The fries, don't get me started lol Best we've ever had (I stole a few😉). I had the Raddichio (spelling?) salad with honeydew, blue cheese, cashews, and forget what a couple ingredients were, topped with an in house cantaloupe vinaigrette dressing. Very very good👍🏼 The man that seated us was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable as was the wait staff. Cozy quaint place. Would definitely visit again. I'd give 100 stars if I could ✨⭐✨⭐✨..
Antwayn Spencer: Great, great, great, service!

Lisa Mueller: Brunch. Cozy and clean restaurant. Glad we got here at a time that wasn't too busy because there is limited seating. I got the overnight oats which I loved with a perfect consistency and perfectly balanced flavor. Husband got the eggs, potatoes and toast. The potatoes were so soft inside and crispy out, with wonderful seasoning. Staff was great, and the food was prepared quickly. I certainly will be back!!! Can't wait to try dinner as well.

Lilly: I have brunched here a few times over the last few years. Every visit has been on a busy weekend and despite the limited seating in this cozy establishment, my group and I have always been sat in a reasonable time—Usually less than a 30 minute wait.Table service is always quick and pleasant.Food is consistently fabulous, both classic dishes and unique menu items. We always get an order of the seasonal French toast for the table to start. It seems like every flavor is better than the last. For savory items we have ordered the brunch burger and steak & egg’s multiple times—SO GOOD. And this last visit we also had their French omelette and it was amazing.Keep it up Little Bird !

Krysten Ruzylo: I went here on Saturday with a couple of friends and I was blown away by this place. From the drinks to the food (I got a salmon salad and we all split the Brussels sprouts and they were to die for). I’ve seen restaurants charge double for the food that ends up being half of the quality. If I lived in GR and not metro Detroit I would make this my go to place.
Robert Beduhn: Absolutely wonderful. Great decor and the service was great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Michael Christensen: Great wine and beer from local and elsewhere! Super cool interior. Friendly staffFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tiffany Larson: We were down for a conference and heard great things about the restaurant. We had a larger group (7-9 people), so one of us called ahead and asked if they could accommodate us. They said yes, no problem. We walked over and I had the most bizarre interaction with the hostess. I told her the number of people, and she said unfortunately, we are not going to be able to accommodate you tonight, and walked away. I honestly just stood there for a minute because typically they ask if we want to split into separate tables, or just give a time frame on how long we’d have to wait. It was especially confusing because we had just called ahead about 15 minutes prior. Another hostess (who seemed very sweet came up) while the other one walked away and said “I don’t know, you figure it out”. They did ultimately offer a wait, but we felt so uncomfortable we decided to leave. We ended up having an amazing experience at Tupelo Honey right down the road. I honestly never write reviews, especially negative, but it was such an unpleasant experience it really had a negative impact on our group and changed the vibe for the rest of the night.
Miranda Pomeroy: Great food, environment and staff! Will go back and be telling my friends about this hidden gem in the city!
Whitney White: Average food and dining experience. Our server was nice. We ordered two appetizers and a burger. The fish dip wasn’t good. It tasted like fish out of a can, not sure if it was or not. The bread it was served with wasn’t even warm or toasted. The Brussels tasted burnt. The burger and fries were decent. This place wasn’t memorable enough for me to return.
Alex Brenner: In the past couple of years I've been coming here I've thoroughly enjoyed their cocktails and most of the food (they had a white fish Reuben I didn't quite enjoy but believe they removed it from the menu). The menu is limited with some handheld staples such as a fried chicken sandwich and burger, entrees include duck confit, salmon among other fish, and a rotating/seasonal special. Truffle fries and brussel sprouts are a must! By far the best entree I ever had was a meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts! Unfortunately this was almost two years ago and I have not seen it since. I wish they would make it a permanent menu option.

Faith Bischoff: Forty Pearl has the most welcoming atmosphere with a very intentional and professional staff. They make you feel right at home. They are also the spot for excellent wine. If you are someone who appreciates the art of wine, or someone who just enjoys a glass of anything under the sun, they have what you need. I am always given the best recommendations and leave wanting to come back the next night. Book your reservation here asap!
Frank: Wow, the Duck 3 ways. Perfection. Huge portion, beautiful presentation, phenomenal flavor, unique combination, reasonable price. Eating here is being in the hands of a professional.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chris Brown: Went in early for dinner. Great wait staff and the food was great. Ordered salmon and pork tenderloin, both were cooked to perfection! This was our second time and both dining experiences have been wonderful.
Maria none: The food and service was amazing! 🙂
Kristyn Daniel: Ordered the mushroom sandwich and couldn’t even eat 2 bites. Server didn’t come back to tell or order something else. When he came back he asked if I liked it and I told him no. When the bill came, I was charged. $18 for something I took one bite of. Disappointing and won’t be back
Tish W.: Definitely not a comfortable place if you are African American or Hispanic. I will definitely not spend my money here again. Being treated like a human being is important to me and our waitress was rude and disrespectful.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Chris Smith: They have a nice assortment of wine and drinks. We had wine flights, which were nice. For dinner, we started with the Burrata, which was a nice change with the cherry chutney. Then I had a the Block 65 burger, which was good. The fries were great. And my girlfriend had the Walleye, which was very good. Service was great and it is a very nice setting.
Amanda Matzke: Deanna was so welcoming and sweet, and took such thoughtful care of us that I thought she may have owned this restaurant. We had amazing service, amazing food, and a great ambience. Highly recommend this place!

Social House Kitchen and Bar: what do users think?
Jo-C Coleman: We came here for a business lunch, around 12:30pm. It was not packed and we could sit anywhere. Food was good, service was good. Not liking the women's bathroom set up. There's an external door and you have to lock the door a specific way. The toilet seat is far from the door and I could not tell if it was locked. Fast action was required! All I'm all a nice place to eat.
Stephanie Wagener: Food was good. Bartender Josh was awesome!!! We’ll have to come back soon
ryan secor: Brought my staff here and they were very accommodating. The food was also fantastic and the drinks were good. Will definitely be back!
Steven McKay: The French dip and fries were killer, wasn’t hungry enough to order the pretzel but it looked awesome and it’s 2 pounds! Parking maybe a pain as it’s downtown GR but it was well worth it.Recommended dishes French Dip, Fries …More
Lizzie Mathias: One of the security guards literally touched me on the waist…an older woman bouncer or waitress or whatever it was continued to yell at me for being upset about him touching me without my consent. Doesn’t matter the context, don’t touch someone. Truly blown away by the misogyny and lack of care experienced here. I’m gonna say don’t come here if you’re a young woman. YIKES. The employees hate women!!!!!
Jim B: Food was good. Service was slow but they were pretty busy. I had the Social House burger, I had to eat it with as fork, it was too big to pick up. They closed the kitchen before we got dessert, didn't warn us first.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Social House Burger …More
Jared Szelkowski: Best service of all time, 100 percent.
Yailine Palomo: If no one is dancing and avoiding the dance floor that means new DJ baby! The DJ gets paid to play the same playlist every weekend. My three year old daughter could go better with her baby shark playlist.
Micdevero: Variety of good food, smash burger was really good, and the wrap that the other party members got was also good, according to them, and the goat cheese balls were a great appetizer.Place looked nice inside, and the wait staff was being attentive to all the customers, and it seemed like a pretty lively place.

Jeff Marks: Came to the Social House after going to another restaurant and finding we'd have to wait an hour. Walked into an almost empty dining room and wondered if we'd made a mistake. That thought disappeared very quickly as we were greeted by a very cheerful and efficient server, Maddie, who gave us the best service in recent memory. Wing appetizer awesome. French Dip, Chicken Power Bowl, and Mahi Mahi Tacos all excellent. And apparently we got there just in time because the place was completely full before we got our food. No mistake. Great place.
DJ TurkLO: Live music with Dj TurkLO every Saturday night
Mik S: Maddie and lexie sorry if i spelled it wrong…best bartenders…best service EVER
Alma Mirela: They changed their food menu! And it’s amazing! So glad they added better options! Always a fun time on the weekend as well!
Gail Bahr: The food was terrible. We had 8 ppl and all our meals were not 😌
Robert Ruiter: Came in at about 2:50 p.m. for a birthday lunch with my fiancée. Saw the seat yourself sign at the front so we did. Not a single waitress or staff member came up to ask us what we would like to drink or anything in 30 minutes. However, they made sure the larger party next to us was good 5 times. Never going back here.
Bonzi Xaykosy: Great location! Great service and AMAZING pretzel. Our food was mediocre. Full of salt and overpriced for the value. We would probably come back just for drinks and the pretzel next time.
Nick Katerberg: Social house is a great bar to hang out at, especially after Griffins games. Madi is the best server, phenomenal customer service, and a great environment. Keep up the good work!
Miles Hoezee (mhoezee): Great place, I felt very safe and included with my lifestyle. Madi our server was great!

MDRD: what do users think?
Alex: Best food in Grand Rapids - certainly worth the extra spend to avoid the Wolfgang Puck in the lobby! Great for events, family outings or just a few tapas.

Chen Seleena: I have been here twice so far and both times we experienced top notch service, food, drinks, ambiance and views.Sophisticated dining for date nights and any special occasions. For tapas, highly recommend grilled octopus, angus beef roasted bone marrow, and medjool dates. For mains, scallops, skate wings and dry aged duck breast are absolutely delicious. For desserts, El Limón and Árbol De Caramelo both in terms of presentation and taste are just phenomenal!!I would also like to give the amazing, attentive, knowledgeable servers Alyssa and Lauren a big shout out!
Charles P. Rutherford II: Top 3 best meals of my life. Drinks list was fantastic, the view from the top of the hotel was amazing and the food was absolutely incredible. We visited on a Tues and patrons were dressed to impress.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Deena Sheidler: I made a trip here while at Tulip Time this year and what a treat!Every member of the staff was on top of our needs. The drinks were fantastic and the tapas really were fantastic. Desserts were entirely unique as I had never experienced anything so beautiful to look at and magical to eat.I will be back 🙂
Alex Bengtson: Yeah this place is absolutely perfect. From the service, to the wine, to the cuisine, to the views. Wow.
Gabrielle Hensch: Everything is super beautiful here. From the decor to the view to the presentation of the food, it's all beautiful. I will say that as someone who doesn't eat most meats or seafood, the menu was a bit intimidating but I ended up getting several of the appetizers as my main meal as well as some beautiful drinks and dessert. Definitely recommend!
Jehan S.: This place is a fantastic rooftop bar and restaurant. The service is incredible and the food and drinks are even better!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brandon's Equipment Videos: I was invited to MDRD for a special occasion. I had never heard of this restaurant, but after looking at other reviews, I developed high expectations. I do have to say that MDRD lived up to those expectations! The view from the 27th floor is great. Brandon, our server, was very patient with explaining the different food options to our party and accommodating our requests. Our meals started with an olive garnish. Green olives are not my favorite, but it was still a nice touch. We ordered several tapas, which are essentially smaller plates of food that can be shared with the whole table. I highly recommend the lamb chops, they were by far my favorite dish that I tasted that night! I also enjoyed the prawns. The jamon y queso tapa was not my favorite, but everybody else seemed to enjoy it. For my main course I had the ribeye steak. The steak was very flavorful and cooked to my liking. I love how the ribeye was bone in, as that adds a lot of flavor. Of course, this restaurant is expensive, but that goes without saying. If you are looking for a unique fine dining experience in the Grand Rapids area, this would definitely be one of my top picks!
Julie: We had a reservation 3 months out for our anniversary and they sat us at the worst table in the whole restaurant. We were within 10” of each table next to us with no window view. The only reason this restaurant has 5 star reviews is because of the views. I’m not spending $200 on a meal to sit elbow to elbow with other diners. The food was mediocre and the drinks were overpriced… so many other restaurants and bars have better options for this price range. We took our business to Leo’s.Parking: Half price with validation
Shannon Klee: It's definitely not worth it based on food tasteFood: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jon Randall: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Debbie Tyler: My husband and I shared the salmon app, small paella and dates instead of dessert. My husband had the Expat bourbon cocktail. Although still very good, the paella was our least favorite. The others were some of the best we’ve ever had. Our service was excellent and the ambiance aligned with the experience- top notch!
Al Roberts: Great food and Adam was an awesome bartender!
David: Very good service. Really nice views of downtown area. Nice private room for small parties. Drinks we very good. Food obviously was amazing. Croquetas and lamb chops were my favorite. We kept either the Talas menus.Parking: Parking was downstairs super easy
Luke Vanslambrouck: Mitch was an excellent server! Great recommendations. Very personable. Oh and the view lol.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tapas …More
Randi Claybaugh: The perfect date night/special occasion spot. Do yourself a favor and get a reservation during sunset.
Sarah Gebben: A rating of five stars is insufficient for this dining experience! Higher ratings should be available for establishments such as this! My husband and I had our first dining experience here for my birthday, after the recommendation of a friend. Parking validation for half of the parking fee is available conveniently across the street. The views from any table in the restaurant are breathtaking. Our taste buds were set alight with the main courses that we ordered. I had the lobster paella and he had the filet a la plancha. Both brought exquisite high def flavors to our taste buds! We completed the experience with the limon dessert, and I am still left puzzled as to how they worked such culinary magic with that creation! We are so fortunate to live in a town with such a world class restaurant at our fingertips!
william jackson: If you're celebrating something special or if exceptional is your norm, MDRD will not disappoint. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Tartar De Ternera, Pulpo a La Gallega, Gambas Al Ajillo …More
