Mitchell M: They treat the residents very poorly and with disrespect. But here's some food for thought...We should place the elderly in prisons. They will get a shower a day, video surveillance in case of problems, three meals a day, access to a library, computer, TV, gym, doctors on-site, and free medication if needed.Put criminals in nursing homes/group homes. They will have cold meals, lights off at 7pm, 2 or 3 showers a week, live in a smaller room and have to pay $4,000 a month to live there!!! It's pretty sad that we treat prisoners/criminals better than the elderly and mentally disabled.

Nicholas Wemple: Told us they would help with a room for the night before my sons stint removal. Said we didnt have to book a hotel because they had a discount at one and would set it up the day before. After days of talking to Renee and the hotel we were told it would be taken care of. The Ronald McDonald house was terrible about contacting us back. As we are getting ready to leave today they call us and say theres no room so they will get the room at the hotel. After not hearing anything for two hours after leaving they called and said that there was no room for us at either. The lapse in follow through and concern has now cause us to not have anywhere to stay the night before my sons procedure.
Jennifer Buck: I had to stay here 2 times for 8 weeks each time! This place is amazing and offers passes to those that stay to visit surrounding events and Museum! Im so grateful for the hospitality they provide.

Denise Johnson: A wonderful heaven sent place for my family with an injured child in a nearby facility. Friendly, loving and caring staff. Dollie Grant made us feel so loved, she's absolutely the best! So blessed to have had this place for my family to help us out in a time of need!

Jaqaylah Miller: I Have Been Dealing With This Agency For 2 Years I’m 23 Years Old With 2 Sons 1 Is In The System With Them I Have Been Fighting For My Son Since They Removed Him From The Hospital He Was Adopted By A Worker From The Hospital That Taught Me To Work My Sons Breathing Machine My Son Has A Lung Disease And Wears A Thrach And Feeding Tube I Took Classes To Care For Him Passed The Classes And They Still Removed Him Saying I Wasn’t Able To Care For Him Properly Even Though I Took Classes They Say They Want To Help But Had Ruled All My Family Out As A Potential Family And Gave My Son To The My Ventilator Instructor And His Wife My Son Has Been Living With Them Since After He Turned 1 They Are Not Bad People It’s Just That He Is Mine I Want Him I Never Wanted Him In The System They Say It’s Better To Communicate Things I Was Going Through But They Only Turned Everything I Told Them Against Me I Might Loose My Baby To These People Forever While Nobody Does Nothing To Stop Them

Heidi gossard: I've seen first hand the works this organization has done in the community and in the lives of children all over West Michigan. Soups On, Lets go to bat for Kids, Holy Smokes, the food pantry, the baby pantry, God's kitchen. No one person is at the heart of the work this organization does whether or not you view the organization as good or as bad. Take into consideration the organization as a whole and all that they do for families and communities!
