Ryan Fordan: I arrived right on time for my 6:00 a.m. Got a door right away unloaded quickly within an hour.Staff was very courteous.Plenty of overnight parking. No restrooms on site.
Amuzzur Izzan: Very bad service, they give a hard time to everyone.
Robert Lavergne: 1200 appt, didn't start unloading until after 1330,5 pallets. Unloading was finished before 1400. Still waiting on paperwork 3 hours after the appt. Seems to be the theme of this warehouse. There is no sense in this. I understand a breakdown and count but 3 hours and counting for 5 pallets? How about y'all stop apologizing and actually fix the problem.Apologies don't make up for lost time and money sitting in the dock door.
next: Usually I came here on weekly basis for a long time. Yes sometimes is busy here and docks are full, I can understand that. But today the lady from the back corner computer told me; I can't check In any more one hour prior to my appointment starting today, she makes me wait. The place is pretty empty today and you can see people outside hanging out. I have 4 pallets only. They have some new people in the dock office, in last few weeks is getting worse by day. I do delivery to other facilities but this one is getting little out of hand...The lady at the front office desk, she is very polite, she deserves 5 stars 🌟...
Kerry Bates: 6:00 appointment, out by 8:00. Good job. Would've given a 5 star but just can't. Reason being, seriously, NO RESTROOMS ! just can't figure out how a company can charge $510.00 and can't even put out a Porta potty for the outside drivers. Other than that, overnight parking is a plus.
Brian Steinway: You would think the food service company charging the highest prices would offer the best service....not so much. Their drivers and transportation department are garbage and it doesn't matter how much you complain, nothing changes.

Joshua “Overload” Mayer: I had an appointment for 9:00 checked in at 7:30 and was put in a door immediately. That was great however I sat there until almost 1:00 p.m. waiting for paperwork for over an hour and a half.The gentleman at the window was really nice when I checked in a day too early and when I checked in the day of my appointment. Which that was my fault I misread my appointment date. Nonetheless I had a positive experience minus the wait time.

Christopher Nankivil: Won’t let you check in more than 30 mins before dock time. Unload quickly, less than 30 mins. Wait well over 2 hours just to get paperwork. Avoid this place if you can.

I wanted Days had the seniority and they had openings on Days they forced me to stay on nights. They said no shift transfers to you were trained which I knew all Downlines. I just quit after I found a perfect opportunity on first shift and more money. I also get treated with respect by co workers after I quit Agropur.

ariel nelson: They are always stocked well and have everything I’m looking for. Customer service means something too though. I had to bag most of my own items while the cashier just stared at me and didn’t even say thank you. The other employees will bump into you and cut you off while you’re walking with no acknowledgment or “excuse me”. As a southerner living in Michigan, it’s a shame that I have to turn a blind eye to rude behavior in most places I go 😓 Just be polite, you’re working.

kar0l1n: Highly recommend shopping early in the mornings. This place turns into a madhouse daily. And they are constantly out of stuff. Especially if you are ordering Shipt or curbside pickup.Watch dates on sale items! And check for open box stuff. I've come home with missing pieces/contents to purchases because they were stolen. Meijer is pretty good about the replacements, but it's the trouble of dealing with the situation.For the most part the staff have been at least cordial. I've never had a Meijer team member be directly rude to me. However, your kindness goes a long way : )

Mrs. Walker (Key'Oir Laveau): I ordered groceries and two non grocery items and had my debit card charged $43. One of the non food items was $1 and the other $5. The shopper asked if I needed anything because there was a lot of items missing in store like always so I had to substitute. I was charged for the food items on my debit and Meijer refused to reimburse me. This has never happened before and I’ve been using this service for months. So before of them not having your items you will be charged extra.

J L: I love Meijer but the way they have these stores set up makes it difficult to find anything. This store looks like the inside of my brain; messy and unorganized. The store is clean and employees are friendly otherwise would've been 2 stars.

Michelle Patterson: When I went to this Meijer, it was well stocked. Much better than other Meijer stores I have been to.
Fred R: Staff was helpful in finding hard to find items even using the Meijer app. Shop and scan is nice but could be more efficient like Sam's Club's Scan and Go app. Sometimes the shop and scan feature is not available.

Keith America: When I was a kid, a really poor kid, back in 1981, I stole a pair of Converse tennis shoes from this Meijer location. I was all of 10 years old. In 2001 I returned to this store with my 5 year old daughter and asked for a store manager and wanted to apologize and to pay for those shoes. The manager said to go out on the floor and look for someone less fortunate and buy their shoes and we would be squared up. Well I ended up buying three pair of shoes for an 11 year old because she could not make up her mind. I was glad to get that off of my chest and fortunately the manager was not at all upset about it in 2001.
Aaron Savage: While I miss Meijer being open 24 hours, I think the new hours are just fine. I would like to see the shelves stocked while the store is closed rather than blocking access to aisles and product while folks are shopping.

Heidi A: At the Plainfield location in particular, it seems like they are frequently out of stock on many things. It can't really be "supply chain issues" anymore because I find the out of stock items in other stores. It is frustrating. Since the remodel, they seem to have less selection and the layout changed, which I don't find was an improvement. I don't find their M-Perks system to be very convenient either. Overall, I still primarily shop here because of the convenience of the location but I don't think that Meijer is the great store that I once found it to be and that is disappointing.
Jax: In-store associates are friendly enough, but don't even bother trying to call with a question. The automated phone will tell you to choose a dept, but it won't actually dial there. When someone does pick up, they'll have to transfer you (to the dept you were already calling) and there's a very good chance you'll be on hold for a while. No one is staffing half the depts, and the associates you can find are nice, but never know the answers for questions outside their areas.Don't waste your time if you need to call with a question.
