Her decision to shut down Line 5 and cut off heating fuel supplies this winter to residents of Michigan and Canada demonstrates a cold and uncaring State. Brad Zielaskowski: Went to get license renewed and I was really impressed with the organization. I signed up at 1130am appointment first. Got there 15 minutes early and my group of about 5 or 6 people we told to get in line at 1125am. I walked out very happy knowing my license would be mailed to me in 7days at 1134am. Great, efficient service!!
Ardell Persenaire: Super helpful my son got scared by the police that his liscence was out of date because he turned 18 but it wasn't out of date until 2020 when he turns 21. The issued a new liscence for him proving he's 18. The man was Super kind and helpful

Tracye O'Brien: Ever since the online appointment system was implemented the Secretary of State in Michigan is a breeze. Grand Rapids Super Center is literally super. Plenty of staff to help people. I waited 10 minutes to see a person at the counter. Orderly, pleasant.

I had to wait about 3 minutes once I was granted access to the office (at the exact appointment time), and the transfer process itself took another 3-5 minutes. Clerk was friendly and efficient. I stopped at Ashley P station precisely 30 minutes before closure, and I have to say that she was a gift from God. Shannon Schultz: Disrespectful staff. First person I spoke to was very rude. Then while I was standing on the blue carpet waiting, since it was supposed to be priority, and I got skipped. Then five staff were standing infront of the copy machine just hanging out. When I finally go back up to the counter, once again the staff are just hanging out and talking among themselves. I am not sure how it is acceptable that they are having side conversations about random things while they are servicing customers. Instead they should have conversations with customers instead of ignoring them. I am very frustrated with the unprofessionalism and absolute disrespectful. The Hudsonville location is much more friendly. Oh and they are not very knowledgeable, since when they took my picture for my ID they asked me if my picture was okay ehen you could not see my eyes due to a glare. I was also disappointed I could not write a review for the poor customer service other than Google. Hopefully, upper management reads this. I went on 11/7/22 @12pm.

I could not log in, wouldn't except my password. now Now I'm locked out. Tried to start a new account. I cannot because an account already exists in my name. Was on the phone for four hours could not get through to a person. I am going down to the dhs on Franklin today. Hopefully I can talk to somebody. If I don't get this done by today, my case will be closed.

Jonathon Carrillo: Resources for people in this city is a joke. It has become abundantly clear that this city nor its commissioners care about the people that live here at all. Not only is it impossible to get ahold of anyone at the DHS office it is also impossible to get anything done. My mother has had constant appointments that have not been kept by the department, as well as phone calls and voicemails that have not been returned, and documentation not filed or properly taken. My mom went months without any assistance even though she is physically disabled and was on the verge of homelessness. If it was not for the fact that I have been taking care of her these last few months she would be on the street starving. It is no wonder the homeless population in Grand Rapids is one of the worst in the state if not the country. It is laughable that people are getting paid to do the jobs that they are not doing. I have worked in customer service and people facing positions my whole life and never have I seen people treated as terribly as they are by this cities workers. Hopefully someone brings legal action against these atrocious injustices soon and can help restore some balance to the lower class citizens who deserve the assistance they are entitled to.
Jacki Traxler: Been trying for over a week to get ahold of my caseworker. I have called every single day. Got a letter and it Said I had a appt and had to go down to the office but I could call to do it over the phone. Can’t get ahold of anyone to schedule it and the appointment is tomorrow.
Mo Ward: Was on the phone for over 3 hrs to do an address change and get all the paperwork sent so I could get everything updated, just to have it finally ring through and be told there are system problems and to try back later, so wonderful that could not have been said before the 3 hr wait. I understand busy I do not however understand incompetence.

If you are indicated you can LOSE everything that’s going for you and future jobs. However, seek a lawyer , do not communicate to an investigator it is NOT a requirement. Ashley and Renee Fisher has set me up for failure I’m only 25! With a newborn I can’t see.

Nicole Schneider: Located inside Meijer by the customer service area. Contrary to a question that was answered, you cannot renew your expired driver's license at this kiosk. You can only do license plate renewals. (car, truck, motorcycle, watercraft) As of 3/9/19, the kiosk appears to be in service.
Chris Jones: Way better service than going to 28th Street. I didn't wait ten minutes and I'd come prepared with my Kindle just in case. I wasn't at the counter five good minutes and I was done/gone. The kicker was that people actually smiled, we're polite/professional and made honest to God eye contact!! Definitely going here from now on, it's worth it to pay for parking just to actually meet state workers who provide a good service in a professional manner.

Wanda zee-cheng: Today was a great experience. Wasn't sure what to expect. Lucky to find a street parking meter next block over and fed it an hour's worth of time.Surprisingly, the treasury office right next to the entrance door. There was no line on the day income taxes were due. Clerk processed my check in a couple io minutes. I was back at my car within 15 minutes. I was impressed that it went smoothly.
