We were about 1/4 mile from Belle Tire Plainfield Ave. We got our shopping done, planned for a ride and headed to Belle. The metal chunk came out when we got up to 30ish mph. We successfully made it to Belle Tire and dropped the keys in their drop box. They were already closed this Saturday evening and wouldn't open until Monday.They were able to get it in and fixed! Belle Tire doesn't charge for a quick patch in the tread either, so I had no bill!

She called this location to let them know about the issue and they were extremely dismissive and did not care. This isn’t the only person I know that this has happened to. If I were you I’d avoid this location at all cost.

I didn't specify exactly what I wanted, so it wasn't done exactly right. I told Jarrod this, and not only did he immediately get to work to fix it, but he didn't charge me an extra dime. Chantice LaGrone: This review is looong overdue. Came here to fix my broken window (it was shattered and the regulator broke) and get all new tires at the same time back in 2019/2020. They did not fix the regulator. It broke the next couple days. We brought it back and they said something new was broken and were really rude to me and my companion about it. The lack of professionalism was ridiculous. Do not go to a tire place for window work. Learned my lesson. Stopped going to them completely after that.

Then I said I would like to call other belle tires and see if someone could get me in sooner then all of a sudden they could get me in same day. I did appreciate that. But the reason it's 3 star is they called me and said they did an alignment check on the car and it was out of alignment and would I like them to allign it and I said yes. Little did I know that would cost me another 100$ on the final bill. I was never told that was going to cost more. I thought it came with purchasing new tires..... I felt scammed for another 100$ on that. Very disappointing in that. But other then that they did a great job.

Charles Hekman: I've bought several sets of tires from this store. The service is great, they rotate your tires, they'll fix flats for free, and they're polite and straightforward with you. I do all my tire shopping here.Update: they recently changed their appointment schedule, and now they're not able to keep up with all the appointments they take. I recently brought my car in on time for a simple winter tire change. It took them over an hour and a half to even start on my car. I wouldn't recommend waiting in the store for service unless you have nothing to do all day.

Mike Henry: Discount tire on Plainfield had been my store for several years .Until today .I drove in car riding smooth as glass all tpms working fine .Mike informed me after trying to sell me new wheels and wipers that he needed $ to do a winter tire change .Not 1 time have I had to pay this ever the summer tires winter tires and wheels all purchased from discount with the assurance I would never have to pay this fee as long as I placed road hazard on all 8 tires which I did . Reluctantly and rudely he said I'll do it 1 last time .Then he comes to me and says your tpms sensor on right rear is not working . I explained they aren't 7 years old they were installed with the new wheels 4 years ago after I asked to see it and realized it was across the store not even on the car I knew the issue as most times you need to be away from any other vehicles that interfere with the signal . Then on way home my car bounces like a stage coach clearly never balanced my tires . I call discount Alpine to talk to the gentleman who sold me all this named Kevin . Tyler says he's not in. No let me take your number ,I'll have him call you to schedule a appointment. Just sorry . I guess discount tire has fallen into the same issue any other corporate issue. They don't care about the customers that made them they only care about the bottom line the $$$ .I will try Kevin 1 more time and I trust him as he is a peoples person but Mike Tyler no way you guys need a course in customer relations or you will lose sooner rather than later . Ashley VanZanten: I purchased new tires at this location about 3 weeks ago. My car died and I am bringing it to the scrap yard and wanted to take the tires off to return them as there is probably less than 50 miles on them (because the car sat for one of those three weeks). However, the guy I spoke with said he had no use for used tires (although I thought they sold used tires at discount tire?) and that I could sell them on FB Marketplace. Won't be using discount tire in the future.

Al Feinauer: I have been buying tires for my cars (and now my children's cars) at the Plainfield Discount Tire on Plainfield for decades. That ended last week. I had a slow leak in my front tire and went in for a repair. As the tire was being looked at by the technician the desk employee tried to sell me windshield wipers. When I declined the price immediately dropped to buy one get one half off (a tactic that always bugs me). When the tire tech was done I was informed that the leak was irreparable due to corrosion around the wheel and I would need 4 new wheels - $1100. I said no and price dropped, no again then $700 for cheaper rim - nope - then $385 for a matching refurbished rim. I asked if the leak could be repaired and was told they would clean the rim but it was a temporary fix and at least one new rim would be required. I drove down Plainfield to Firestone. THEY cleaned the wheel and tire, reseated the tire and low and behold - no more leak. I would love to know if the employees who tried to upsell me and therefore lost a lifetime customer will be praised or chastised by Discount Tire Management!

He makes sure it's done right. They give you good estimations and provide military discounts.I recommend them over many other places which rip you off or even break other things in the process to make you come back for something else. Ronda is the place to be for sure.

I told the person I have been dealing with for years, "I really need to get this fixed by Monday, I have a business trip." The response was "Sorry, can't help you". I told him I will have to go elsewhere and he said, "Good Luck with that." and hung up. I called Fox Ford and they got me on over the weekend. I guess I know where to go from now-on.

Fast forward to the night before that rescheduled appointment, I called to confirm the time as I could not find the confirmation and they have no record of the appointment. The customer service agent could not contact anyone at the store directly, so I had her schedule me for next week supposedly - though I’ve yet to receive a confirmation email. I dont know when I will get my tires. This is the third time that I’ve experienced trouble with a scheduled appointment. The last I had a rotation scheduled and they didn’t have record of it. I think I can spend the $600+ elsewhere where I will receive better service.Edit: 40 mins in the waiting room after my appointment started and they are just now taking my car back.

Showed up and they tell me that the tires are on backorder with no eta.They said they called multiple times. "No, I never got a call." They then say they called once and left a message. "No, I received no message."I gave them the number for my work phone. I always answer and always check my voicemails. They never contacted me, they just sat on my money for 3 weeks and offered to install a lower quality tire. I asked for a refund instead.The people working were polite and friendly, but I took a day off of work for this. What a waste of my time.
