I had such a great experience and was really impressed at the selection, prices were fair compared to market and even some better deals, and they were able to take care of every customer while it was busy. Such a great spot and I really recommend going if you’ve never been. I got some awesome Sega Genesis games and could not be happier. They also have a guarantee for their games too, which was really nice compared to some no return stores. I would recommend anyone from a seasoned gamer to a beginner, they’ll make you feel welcomed. :)

My wife tried to return and they offered $27 for both.. reached out to management and was told to fly a kite so poor business for sure. I can say that DISK TRADERS does take returns on all purchases incase someone was looking to not get screwed out of their money.

Bought a $50 scarface tht didnt work when thy sold it to me got it resurfaced 2 different times at this location still didnt work and they would give me my money back or store credit worst gaming organization in grand rapids nd I recommend no one buy games from them u have better luck on ebay

Killer 6980cmc: Worst gaming store I have ever gone to, the staff member that is male and obviously gay was very unhelpful to me, I simply wanted to check the discs before i was sold the game, they all looked very poorly cared for, he sold me a game that was incorrect, didn't even know the difference between them, army of two, but had 40th day in it but did not have the regular army of two, then proceeded to tell me that the person who sold it to them had the wrong game in there then, they should have checked before buying it. They didn't want to give me a refund only in store credit for a game that was bought within 5 minutes of figuring out that it wasn't the correct one, had to do an even trade. Everything is over priced, I will never return here and I certainly will not let my friends and family waste money here.

Andrew Tuma: Nicely organized with a a large number of games, I made a quick visit in to check it out since I had never been before. You will probably find something you are looking for, but maybe not. Plenty of room to explore with out feeling the cramp. The store looked like it was close when we visited from no car in parking lot and no open sign with the tinted window (good call on the tint you should do the other windows to protect the game from sun damage) but luckily the red car show up and it is clearly open. I did not talk to employee much but they were kind.

bro gamin: A certified banger of a place. A very welcome addition to the grand rapids/Kentwood area. Great selection, great person behind the counter. Tons of different card games from Pokemon and dragon ball to final fantasy and magic. Vast selection.

Chris G: Small on the outside, biggest selection on the inside. Was pleasantly surprised to find several interesting games and cards for sale, along with Pokémon Japanese boosters. The owner is extremely friendly and gave a good deal for my trades too. Absolutely recommend this place!

Zach: Owner runs the shop and is incredibly nice. The shop is legit too. Lots of desirable new and used games and also new accessories for old systems (cables, memory cards, batteries, converters, controllers, etc). He offers battery replacements for Gameboy cartridges as well. Definitely a local shop I'll be supporting.

Gil: I've only seen one person in there and he knows just about anything about video games you could think of. Genuinely nice guy and a very clean and organized store. If you're into older games you can't find at other major retailers, this should and could be your first and only stop.Prices are probably the high point of this review. Some of the prices are incredibly low compared to eBay offerings and you're guaranteed it works or your money back (afaik). I've never had to bring anything back though and I've spent hundreds of dollars there at this point. They even have some consoles that are in excellent condition considering their age.Overall if you're a "retro" gamer and need games or just want to check them out it's worth the drive just to look around. They even sell new copies of new titles (Pokemon etc) and used copies of current generation (PS5 and Xbox) for good deals.10/10 experience and customer service it doesn't get better than this for a game store.
