Just squeezing money out of the business. Their lack of care to their employees, or the company at all as a whole, is clearly evident on every overpriced hot tub they try and sell. RY: Wish I would have went with the higher end brands! Too good to be true… I bought two of these for my businesses under a year ago. So far nothing but problems with the pumps! One blew up (literally-the ground wire blew off the pump and electrical burning could be smelled) and the other pump on the other hot tub never shuts off. My dealer told me over the phone to contact Nordic as they don’t carry replacement pumps. I contacted Nordic and after a week of back and forth, they wrote back that my dealer was to reach out to me. Almost a week goes by and no further response from Nordic and no call from my dealer. I persistently kept calling my dealer and was able to get a tech out (this is about 3 weeks after the pump broke), tech reported a “bad pump”. However, Nordic now needs to send my dealer a new pump and the dealer then sends the technician back out to replace. This has now been almost 6 days and no update on a new pump. Moral of the story, unreliable hot tubs. Especially, if you are running a business. I’ve unfortunately lost hundreds of dollars now in refunds from the hot tub with the blown up pump and high electric bills with the second hot tub due to this pump not shutting off when it reaches temperature. Both under a year old. Helpful customer service may have fixed the situation but over a month with no resolution is just upsetting from a customer standpoint. Wish I would have went with a more reliable brand
Doug Clendening: Very hard to find things wrong with these tubs for the price. They're almost half as expensive as some of the more well known nation wide brands, gallon for gallon while being jist as effective. We love ours.There are some things they could do better though. We have the Encore LS:- They could use at least one more light underwater. It's especially dull with the jets and air bubbles on.- The cup holders have an opening to let water drain out. However, the openings are so big that drinks can slide into the hot tub.- There's also not enough cup holders. Move the above-water lights below water and put cup holders there in my opinion- On the opposite end, the two far corners hold stagnant water and can't drain naturally- The lay-down seat could use an adjustable neck pad- The "jets 1" button is confusing for guests since it has two modes- But what makes jets 1 worse is that guests also need to know to turn the large circulater jet off to enjoy the rest of "jet 1" jets, so they often think the "jets 1" aren't working properly or are weak- A button for air bubbles would be nice instead of the manual handles- Inline orp/ph/temp monitor would be great. Like the iopool eco.

The company in the UK i bought it from says that Nordic Hot Tubs are not honouring the warranty. . .I am the customer who bought in good faith and I am the one with a brand new hot tub that has a fault.Will go with a better quality brand next time.

Aaron Sahlstrom: I wanted to provide a review of my experience with Nordic Hot Tubs over the past year. A year ago I placed my order, with my dealer saying Nordic offered high quality tubs. There was to be a long wait due to Covid, but then the delivery date was pushed out multiple times. I reached out a couple times, but the Nordic representative would not confirm my order. I finally received my spa 2 months ago, and I noticed the patio remained moist around the tub when the weather dried. So I opened the service hatch and found 1/8 - 1/4 water in the bottom of the tub, and water dripping from a port on the UV/Ozone unit. I looked up the unit and found the installation manual. The manual clearly stated that the unit was to be installed above the water line, or alternatively loop the ozone injector line with the check valve above the water line. This is called a Hartford loop. Nordic installed the entire unit below the water line (in this case below the top jets), and did not implement the Hartford loop. This was either a design problem or a build problem, so while I waited for my dealer to come out, I reached out to Nordic to let them know about the problem so they could correct it for future customers. Rather than being appreciative of the information, they were rude and made vague threats about voiding warranty by opening my equipment, even though their quality issues caused the issue and the installation manual clearly states that the check valve is a serviceable part that must be checked and replaced yearly. While I am early in my ownership of a Nordic Hot Tub, but rather than being an evangelist for the brand, I am left with a very bad taste in my mouth. We all understand that mistakes happen, but it's how you deal with them that makes the difference. P.S. Due to the water that leaked from the ozone generator, it was clear that Nordic does not use stainless steel hardware to mount the heater and pump.
scott doty: I obtained a Nordic Spa from an acquaintance, used and tired. Whenever I've had questions or problems, the staff at Nordic has been amazing. No warranty stuff here, just good people who take pride in their company. The tub is great, and updated w/ new guts with the major help from the folks at Nordic. If a great company behind your product is important to you, BUY NORDIC! My daughter, of course, didn't listen and bought locally. Usually good practice, but not for her. $14,000 later they have a whammy jammy tub with a million jets andMeanwhile I write this as I a waterfall, but can rarely use it due to constant failures of different systems. This is a major brand tub, and it's junk. Meanwhile, I write this as I'm enjoying my awesome Nordic Spa. Oh yeah, I sat in this tub in -15 degree weather this year. Still no problems. BUY Nordic and enjoy your Spa, it shouldn't stress you out. It's for relaxing! And no, I am not affiliated w/Nordic in any way except as a customer. Nordic Spas Rock!

I was a bit turned-off by no return policy, but I get that. 1st contact, a woman, possibly owner(?), checked my dryer igniter I wanted to replace, & confirmed it was working perfectly. Gentlemen helped me further when I insisted I thought this part wasn't testing like others. He tested their new part, & it tested the same as mine. Michael Dollar: This company lied to me and then proceeded to try and shake me down with collections. They said they were an authorized service center for a certain brand and when I called the actual company they were in fact not! So none of my repair work would be covered. They showed up took at picture of the damage and left and sent me a bill for $167. Avoid at all costs!!!I asked ahead of time if you were authorized to do the work and you said yes!!! Otherwise I would have called someone who was. Bosch told me that you are NOT an authorized service center. Their words, you mean authorized by YOU. Zach Zokoe: Ron came to my home with his son to fix my Whirlpool double oven that was not working. After inspecting the oven they were sure it was the igniter. His son (who he is apprenticing) changed out the igniter and it still didn’t work, I don’t believe Ron inspected his work but I could be wrong. So his son put my old igniter back on and they charge me a service fee of $125. Ron said he would do some research and follow up with me in a few days. He wasn’t very familiar with the double oven and didn’t know what the issue was. He did call back in a few days and explained he still wasn’t sure he knew what the problem was but he could try something else out (Which I didn’t understand as he explained it over the phone) and it would cost me $550 for parts and labor to fix. I declined and decided to call Whirlpool. They sent out a different repair company and their service tech fixed it in less than 20 minutes. He said it was obvious it was the igniter. My oven is now working like new. I called Ron to explain that I have been without my oven working for 2 months, I had to pay a second service fee and all along it was the igniter that they should have fixed on the first trip. He said there was nothing he could do for me. He doesn’t reverse service fees. I think that is unreasonable therefore I would not recommend using this company.

Susan Woods: If you were negatively affected by Covid 19, like losing a loved one or dealing with long-term health complications from having it, you may want to skip this company. In letting us know that parts might be delayed, he actually used the word "scamdemic". It's bad business. You don't know what your customers experienced during the pandemic. My mom came out of the hospital with a feeding tube and on a vent after Covid. This was disrespectful and gross.Edited to add: Ron did show up on time for his appointment, so I added a star to my initial review. Communication was slow at times. Though, he did apologize for that.

Jeannine Rizzo: This store has the best customer service in town with an impressive stock of appliances. I purchase applainces for both my home and rentals so I have called Scott many times over 25 years! They have high end brands and also entry level appliances with competitive price points but much much better service. The last 5 appliances recently purchased I just did it over the phone with Scott and they deliver and install on time with a great installation company. I rely on Decker & Sons and they always exceed my expectations.

He also owned an arduous rebate submission process for us, making sure we got all of our money back. That kind of service is valuable. More valuable than that, was when one of the appliances failed not long after the warranty expired. When the manufacturer failed to take action David became our superhero. He spent countless hours tracking down a solution and got us cared for without us having to spend another dollar. We appreciate him and the Decker & Sons team more than we can express! Best price or not - they are our appliance provider for life now!

Betty Near: I recall going to Decker with my mother when I was a child. I too have bought several appliances and TV's there throughout the years. Imagine my surprise when I went there today (1/13/23) to look for a new TV, and was told that Decker no longer sells TV's. What a huge disappointment!
Tom: They don't service what they sell in house and refer you to a second party repair service. Good luck with getting someone on the phone. It's less than a two year old refrigerator...lesson learned, deal only with companies that provide direct service instead of quickly getting you off the phone with only a phone number.

There were some manufacturing delays, but the Bekins staff kept us informed, and ironically the construction delays were such that all of our appliances came in before they could be installed. We bought the machine and were so happy with our Installers, Jeremy, Curt and Cody, on Feb 14 2023. They arrived at the scheduled time. Introduced themselves, and explained what they were to do. They took the old machine away with no noise or scratches to walls. They called us into Laundry Room shortly thereafter. Richard Hill: We had never heard of Bekins. But we were shopping for a Bosch dishwasher and found them listed on the Bosch website. The showroom was amazing, and Erika was very helpful. We had planned on getting the least expensive 100 series but after she explained the differences, we chose a 300 series dishwasher. They installed it a couple days later and their guys did a great job. And the Bosch dishwasher is amazing. Since we are just two people, we don’t run a dishwasher every day. With our old dishwasher we had to rinse dishes before loading or the food would dry on and not come clean. We were told not the rinse the dishes with this Bosch yet they come out perfectly clean even on the second or third day.

All of their appliances work in the store, all of their installers, and technicians work for Bekins, and they have a one hour window in which your appliance will be delivered!! Crazy right? You get comparable prices from other vendors (because they check them nightly). Let’s not forget the thank you card and flower you get the day of delivery. Oh and one more important thing to consider-we had our dishwasher in a week, a week!! Box stores anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks-and they didn’t know anything about their appliances that we couldn’t look up.

We were facing a long holiday weekend that we had planned to spend watching our favorite Christmas shows—especially since a once-in-a-generation blizzard was heading towards Michigan, and we knew we’d be hunkered in for the duration.To make a long story short, we called Bekins on Thursday, December 22. Avery started taking care of us immediately and did whatever she could to move the process along. Johanna and Corey worked together to find us the exact TV we needed. We trusted their judgement and didn’t even look at options. We were told to expect the TV early afternoon on the 23rd, weather permitting.Barely a half hour after we left the store, Avery called and said she could get the TV to us that afternoon. (Sometimes living in the same town as the warehouse has its advantages!) Mitch came out, set us up, and headed back out into the snow.They all scrambled to help, and we sincerely appreciate it—especially when we learned that Bekins was doing the absolutely right thing by closing its stores and service that very evening so employees could be safely home until Monday, December 26. At one point, my husband told Avery she saved our marriage!Literally for decades we have purchased every appliance, sound system, and TV from Bekins because their service is exemplary. We will continue to do so.

Sears Appliance Repair: what do users think?
C D.: At first, I thought things were going to go well since they answered the phone quick (call center) and was able to get us on the books within a day. But after that, it was frustrating. First of all, an 8am to 5pm window is ridiculous. Having to deal with that twice was very difficult. The repair guy at least knew what the issue was and ordered the part, but also is frustrating because they never asked about the model number before the appointment so that maybe parts could be on hand.The guy said this was a common problem so it would seem logical to carry common parts. He was in and out in like 15 minutes.The next repair guy came and was in and out in like 30 minutes. I was hoping for a more itemized bill because the part was like $160 but labor was like $260... Which is absolute robbery.. That is like over $200 per hour... Unacceptable. I won't use this service again.Service:Oven repair

Julie Launiere: I called Sears Repair because my refrigerator/freezer stopped working. Sears sent out a young man to fix it. It turned out he diagnosed the problem and could not fix it on the spot. He ordered the parts to have it repaired. Sears scheduled an appointment for two weeks from the date he was here. Come repair day I got notified that no one was coming out and they rescheduled me for an appointment two weeks from that date. On the second appointment a different serviceman came out to repair the fridge. Turns out the first technician misdiagnosed the problem. The motherboard was fried according to the second guy. It would cost more to fix it than to buy new. So in short, the repairman took the parts and was going to have Sears reimburse me for the parts but now for the $149.00 service call. Kimberly McCormick: I have American Home Shield for a home warranty. My dryer stopped drying the clothes on a Saturday 9/25 so I went online and request service and Sears Home Service was assigned. I was able to schedule the service online for Tuesday 9/28 between 8am and noon , but when I received the confirmation email it was from A&E Factory Service, not Sears. My first frustration is that they schedule a 4 hour window meaning you have to take that time off work and sit around to wait. At least they did text and email when he was on his way though there was no ETA in either the email or text just a "the tech is on his way". I get not being able to give an exact time, however with most services I've been able to request that they contact me 30 minutes or so before ETA so I can go to work then run home to meet them when they arrive. Unfortunately, they don't offer any options for making that request. The tech showed up, diagnosed the problem and said he needed to order the part. I've had this exact repair done on this dryer 3 years ago (blower wheel replacement) and they obtained the part locally. - so it was a bit frustrating that they couldn't/wouldn't do so this time. He scheduled the part install for the following Thursday 10/7, a full 9 days later, again a 4 hour block of time. Since the part was being shipped to my home, he said if it arrived early to call and reschedule the repair for sooner. I asked about the name discrepancy, that AHS shows Sears but he's from A&E Factory Service, and he claimed they are the same company - though that doesn't seem completely accurate based on the poor service. The part arrived on Friday 10/1 so I called the number shown on AHS website for this company to reschedule the repair, and the system offered 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 10/2 so I confirmed that time. I waited all afternoon Saturday, but the tech was a no show. I called the number shown on the AHS website for this provider but was unable to reach a human, it only offered the option of rescheduling the appointment. If you tried any other option, it hung up on you. Since it was after 5, I went ahead and rescheduled but the soonest available was Tuesday between 8am and noon - 3 days after the no-show appointment and 4 days after the part arrived. I was furious at the rudeness of not receiving a call, text, email or any communication letting me know the tech wasn't coming and at the utter disrespect for me and my time, not to mention the additional delay in receiving the service . I did a google search and found a different number by which I was able to reach a human, who was obviously at a call center overseas. She told me she would "escalate it" and someone would call back within 24 hours - which did NOT happen. So I called that number again on 10/4 and got the exact same response from a different customer service, again at a call center overseas. In both cases the customer service rep gave me the excuse that the tech was overbooked Saturday which doesn't explain or excuse the failure to show up or communicate with me. I am frustrated and angry at the lack of consideration or respect on the part of this company and it's representatives. And I am not happy that I have to take more time off work to sit at home and wait for a tech who may or may not show up to do a repair that takes under 20 minutes, after wasting my entire Saturday afternoon waiting for someone.Service:Dryer repair

He told me I needed to be there in person to pay for the repair and that there was no possible way to do it remotely. I had to cancel my appointment. I have no idea how there is such a discrepancy within the company about payment, but it was very frustrating.

I fell in the shower because the curtain lays into the tub. The place is dirty. I was locked out of my room and hotel 4 times. The staff is rude. I've reported my situation 10 times to hotel management and have repeatedly been ignorned. I've emailed and called. Nothing! I guess I'll file a complaint with my credit card company instead because Marriott refused to do anything. Worst customer service around!!!!

S Graves: This hotel is under major renovation (only the first floor is open), and they do not tell you until the day that you are to arrive. I received an email at 8 am the day of arrival telling me that the hotel was undergoing renovations. However, I did not open the email until after I checked in because I was traveling to the hotel via an airplane. Upon arrival I noticed a sign on the front counter stating that due to the renovations there would be no hot breakfast. Amazing that Marriott does not care enough about their Lifetime Titanium Elite member or any customer to post a notice on the hotel's website (Marriott website) when we are booking a room, that renovations are taking place at this hotel.Then between 7 pm and 11:30 pm the noise from construction workers who were staying at the hotel - in rooms next to mine, and across the hall from my room, was so loud (screaming down the hall, running, slamming doors, banging on the walls in the hall, etc.), twice one of them banged on my door thinking that one of his co-workers and disturbing me. This is always a nice treat when you are trying to sleep at 10:30 pmThe general manager had NO concern about the bad service I was receiving. Needless to say, the owner of this hotel needs to terminate the "general manager."I HIGHLY recommend not staying at this hotel.

Whirlpool was different but neat, gym 24 hours was a plus and breakfast made this Mama’s job a lot easier 😂 Had to switch rooms half way threw our stay due to the fridge being out of order. Will, who is a Houseman went above & beyond to make sure we were set & ready to go. Very polite, helpful & friendly! Hotel was also right off the highway and near many businesses. We will be staying again!Happy New Years-2023!!! 💥 🏼🎉
