Chloe: I’m one of those people that would give a no star rating if I could. Placed an order which was confirmed. Two hours later received an email my order was cancelled. Called the phone number listed in my email and was told they had no idea why it was cancelled and no one could tell me because it was “the system” that cancelled it. Sorry for you Children’s Place - I love my granddaughters and love to buy them gifts - not from Children’s Place anymore.

The other cashier (ours) was called to try to explain how discounted and clearance works. She tried to tell the man that it ended up in clearance by mistake. The guy asked to talk to the manager and the manager agreed it was a mistake since she couldn’t find any of the same pjs in the box. The guy still threw a fit and insisted that he was given the clearance price. He argued for 20 minutes and then threatened to write a bad review if he wasn’t given the discount. He asked for the managers name to name her in the complaint.Mistakes happen. We are in the middle of a staffing crisis nation wide. Don’t be upset for the people who are showing up everyday to work. Our cashier, his cashier and the manager were all lovely.I hope this review cancels his review out. The store was super clean and staff were extremely helpful. Some people feel entitled and it’s a shame. Thank you Auburn Hills Children Place for helping us find our children’s back to school uniforms and making it so easy.
Jodi Smith: I ordered 10 matching jammies for Christmas because they were all in stock in mid-November. Today I find out that they are ‘sold-out’ of one size. How can I give 9 grandkids matching jammies and leave one out! So angry since I specifically order early and all were in stock. Someone made a huge mistake. Therefore, I am returning all of them!

Jenna S: Went here to exchange an online order that was defective. The price I paid online was 26.23. When I exchanged for the exact same item I had to pay (cost of the same item was 34.97). When looking at the receipt the cashier entered the amount I payed for the online order as 29.97. When questioning the cashier she said items online are never the same price and for an exchange I would have to pay. Customer service is very poor in this store. If you go here watch your receipts!

Clothes thrown everywhere on tables it looked like a teenagers room! Sale on jeans? Yeah right who'd go through that mess to find any? Not me. Went into the fitting rooms...candy rapers on the floor, hangers to name a few things. It was truly disgraceful. I won't be shopping here again. I will say staff was friendly but they definitely need to hire someone just to keep the place picked up and cleaned. It looked like stores at Christmas time. Messy..
Carrie White: This store is clean and organized. They have decent prices and a lot of cute clothes for kids. I like that many of their boy's bottoms have elastic waist bands. You can usually find husky and slim sizes online, as well (but not always in the store).

But it was shocking how CROWDED the store was - and I was the only one wandering the shelves.From wall to wall and floor to ceiling, the store is PACKED with clothes. Arguably, this provides a lot of variety but there was no immediate discernable form of organization within the clothes.3 stars for variety and amount of product, but there’s no way you’d get a large stroller in there or a child with any level of distractability.

Kyle Grusling: I can always find beautiful baby gifts here, but it is not for the faint of heart. There is stuff literally everywhere, up to the ceiling, in the store. The people who work here are excellent at helping you find something and they do know where everything is, just be prepared to be overwhelmed when you walk in. It's also fantastic for shoes. I love that I can try shoes on my son from tons of high quality brands! It's not cheap. You won't find much for under $30, but it does tend to be worth the money. Returns are in store credit only which makes gifting to anyone not local a little tough.

Since then I've had the pleasure of buying shoes (and lots of them :)), baby gifts, and my daughter's Christening gown here. I've always had amazing service and I truly love the brands they carry, etc. This store is so special.

Jennah Hosta: Now I know why everyone says it’s not worth it to sell here! The workers are so rude and have no customer service skills at all. I brought my stuff in around 10:30, they told me they would have my stuff done around 2, I had to be somewhere else later that day so my family said they could come back to pick it up. The girl helping me was so rude when asking me questions and speaking to me as I tried to figure out how to make it work. When my family came back to pick up they lied to them and claimed they told me it wouldn’t be ready until 11 the next day, which definitely was not true as I wouldn’t have even left the stuff there. After all the mess and hassle it definitely wasn’t worth the small amount they gave me. Never going here again! Will try kid to kid next time.
Dustin Bush: I brought in 2 tubs of clean washes clothes and they said I didn't wash them. I used drift soap, even packed them in new tubs, they only gave me $9 for 5 things and said I had to organize the tub that it's not there jog searching for out fits.....onezies don't come with shorts or pants! Wasted $40 in gas for nothing. Never gonna shop here again. Gladly take my business elsewhere.
Brian Crawford: Excellent selection for kids clothes up to the ages of about 9 years old. Jeans are around 10. Shorts 3-5 bucks. Shirts around 6. More expensive than a yard sale but almost everything is like new and aisles are even divided into colors.
Mariposa: Very picky on what they will take in. I brought in a big plastic bin of clothes. They chose on 4 things and wanted to give thirty bucks. I left and donated my child's stuff to someone in need.
Ashley Shettles: I'm not impressed with this location or the staff there. I went in yesterday and the lady in front of me literally had 8 containers that were being checked. To my understanding you are only supposed to bring in 2 containers at a time. I gathered form the conversation that the employee and customer knew each other personally. So if you know someone who works there you get special privileges. I took in a 60 dollar bouncer and was offered 8 bucks.This place just isn't worth the time or effort. The staff do not appear to be happy with their jobs.

Kristie Vos: This used to be a decent place, but not any more. The last three or four times there have been issues. This week week they did not have time to process my clothes and asked if I could come back on another day. Because it was a busy weekend, i agreed to come back at a later day. So I returned the following week and they had kept some of my items and donated the remainder of my items including my custom baskets. No record of what they kept or donated. The 45.00 they sold of my items they did not give cash for, only store credit. No phone call or text to me.
Tee Berg: Got breakfast. They must have had an extremely large order in front of me. I didn't think it took a lot of time, but I was given a card for a free breakfast sandwich because "It took so long".. Unbelievable! You'd NEVER see the other fast food places do that.. What an extremely over the top company AND employees. I'm still in awe from this!!!

Tiffany Nelson: Consignment here is rough. They will allow you to drop things off and fail to communicate that they won't actually check your items if its not brought in a certain way. They will also not tell you prices on the phone, forcing you to drive back to them, except if you don’t come back within 24 hours you forfeit everything . The amount of time and energy invested just to find out when I got there they didn’t even bother going through everything because it was brought in in bags. ☠️Do business at your own risk.
Kylie Makinen: This place has gone downhill since the last time I was here. Staff all looked miserable, place was dirty and they jacked up prices on all of their items. Good luck trying to sell anything to them if your items aren’t perfectly folded and in brand new totes. You have been warned. Will not be going back.

alix bailey: Update: we have been going to kid to kid for 5 years and we will not go anywhere else. Our kids outgrow everything in a season and this spot is everything. The staff at this location will help you with ANYTHING you need help with. Don't see what you're looking for? Just ask and they will even go through the new inventory for you. Also, the shoes are displayed and not in a big bin. Idk about you but I'm not interested in sticking my hands in a bin with dirty shoes. I highly HIGHLY suggest going here and not anywhere else. The monthly bookclub is great as well, one free book a month for each child in the home. Get in there asap!!!!We love kid to kid. It feels a tad more expensive than once upon a child but the place is muuuuuch cleaner and better organized.
Rachel Van Strien: 20 minute stop with all 4 of my kids! The little ones enjoyed using the kid door and the little shopping carts. I found the kids’ wedding sandals and a maternity bathing suit top. I’ve spent so long looking those items in other places! The employees were delightful and professional, much improved since I was there in 2020.

Shannon Mikula: Kid 2 Kid is a very organized kids store geared towards offering high quality gently used items at a fraction of the cost of brand new. I love that you can just stop by with your items you’d like to sell to them and they’ll go through them and make you a cash offer, or an in store credit offer. The staff is helpful and friendly as well. I highly recommend this place to parents, grand parents ans expectant moms too!

Heather Fett: I visited your store this afternoon and apparently I must of looked like I wasn’t able to afford to purchase anything from your store, I wasn’t greeted by one person at all the entire time I walked around, however the older lady who came in behind me was immediately greeted and escorted around the store, offering to get her things, get her a room. This will be the one and only time I visit your location. I’ll choose to spend my money elsewhere. I may not of been dressed a certain way or looked like your clientele but I am actually very much able to afford your items.

Cynthia Smith Darku: Found plenty for my granddaughter,nothing with correct length for my daughter as far as pants are concerned. She can get them on line,just not in store. Not every women is tallest at 5'9".

Gina: I tried to go to this store this morning at 10:01am and the doors were locked. A woman with long blonde hair came to the door and said "she wasn't ready to open yet.". I let her know it was after 10 and asked if the store still opens at 10. She said it does open at 10, but she was not ready to open the store yet. I was amazed how this woman thought she had the right to open the store whenever she feels like when there are preset hours that customers are relying on. There were others besides myself waiting to get in. I left right away and decided to go shopping elsewhere.

Very unorganized and unprofessional GM. I would never return!This is why this location is receiving 1 star. Work on that customer service!!

Bekah Forist: I used to hate old navy as a teenager, but now as an adult everything is cozy and FITS. I'm 5' 11" and not a stick so it's hard finding long pants that fit my thighs and hips. This place has the best selection for people like me. So many different styles of pants and the fact most of them come in tall make me feel so happy. The store usually doesn't have many options for size 11 shoe but their online store has everything + really good deals. 👌 My new favorite department store.
