When it comes to prices, Sahara in Sterling Heights offers better value for money, and their food is superior, especially if you don't mind dining at a chain restaurant. However, if you're looking for a local restaurant that provides a more satisfying experience, I highly recommend trying Tabooli. If you're seeking a diluted version of Mediterranean cuisine, this place might suit you.

Marios Fotiadis: I placed an order of chicken shawarma through uber eats, yet the only thing that tasted right was the rice and the pita .The chicken tasted and smelled completely different than any other time, as if it was from an older batch.I called the store right away to report my horrible experience,however the manager seemed to not care about my complain and kept reassuring me that next time he will take care of my order.

Ever since I moved to East Lansing for college, I have been missing my hometown Mediterranean restaurant, and I was so pleased to discover a place that makes food as good as they do. I like to treat myself to carryout once a week, and as much as I try to switch it up, it always ends up being carryout from here! The owners and employees are so kind, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. I have tried everything on the menu basically, but I would highly recommend the crushed lentil soup, makhali, veggie and/or lamb grape leaves, lamb kabob dinner, chicken shawarma dinner, garlic sauce, and their health cocktail raw juice.

Lydia Itsell: Yeah…I know…a 5 out of 5.But nostalgia and taste really do align with locals when it comes to Woody’s.If you grew up in the outer Lansing area in the Aughts…it was our first taste of hummus before weight watchers deemed it the healthiest pairing to 0 point options (no dig, it’s true!)Point being…in my 30 years, Lansing has opened its doors to an incredible tapestry of culinary endeavors I’ve been fortunate enough to witness and taste. I can only hope this is a sign that our community is opening not just its palette…but it’s mind.I was forutunate enough to be reminded of what an impression Woody’s made on me when I lived in said “Lansing bubble” where Taco Bell was my first introduction to eating Al fresco.Thank you Marie for reminding me of what an impression and trailblazer woodys has been in my life and our community!……and for the extra piece of namoura. ❤️Vegetarian options: It’s VERY much vegetarian friendly with litterally half its menu split in two with half of it being “vegetarian”. Niasha48: We’ve been looking for great Mediterranean food since moving to the Lansing area - and I’m happy to report that we finally found our gem! We had the garlic chicken kebabs and the beef kafta - both of which were outstanding! Perfectly marinated and spiced and the sides were just as good! Since our meals were so amazing, I decided we should try the baklava and ordered a few to go… I literally melted into heaven after the first bite! BEST baklava I have ever had! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you Woodys!
