Christy Mayo: I would NOT recommend going here to buy a car. My husband and I drove from Grand Rapids to check out a car. After we decided to purchase the car, they needed to fix a few things and I needed to finalize financing with my credit union. Marti OFFERED to have the car delivered to us in Grand Rapids, and we were thrilled that we wouldn't have to drive back to pick it up. When the car was done having the few items fixed, she "couldn't find any drivers" to deliver the car even though I told her they could come any day. She finally admitted that we would have to come get it- why even offer delivery if you can't actually deliver? Once we got the car, I took it to my local trusted mechanic and it needed $800 in repairs. I emailed her to see if they would do the right thing and reimburse me for any part of it, and I didn't receive a response. I would never buy here again.

Anytime you buy a used car you have to go in with expectations that things won’t be perfect, both with the car and the car buying.That being said I am pleased with my deal here. Was able to test drive without having to fight with a salesman about financing (that happens almost EVERYWHERE else). I came back with some questions and the folks there were fairly straightforward about the car. They didn’t try to beat me up on the price, I had a number in mind when I walked in and they hit within $200 of that number. And then after all was said and done, we cranked through paperwork and I was able to take the car home within a few hours of test driving.Again, anytime you buy a used car you take a chance and you have to go in with the understanding that things won’t all be perfect. With that in mind, I liked the people here, I’m pleased with the car I got, and everything was smooth.
999 4L: I wouldn’t recommend anybody buy a car from here, smh. Me and my brother both have purchased cars from this place (both cars under 150k miles), and within 2 MONTHS of having these cars we’re both car-less at the moment, waiting on our engines to be replaced. Being that they’ve died in that very small amount of time. I was excited to finally have a car again, and so was my brother. We’ve both been misinformed about the truth of these cars, as well as being given false hope about the future of these cars. They’re both great cars that were just sold by a horrible company. IF YOU DONT HAVE TO, NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE. It doesn’t matter how bad you want the car you see don’t do it. Your car will not last very long no matter how “new” it looks.

Nikki Haley: kind of irritated my battery light and engine light came on after I got home with my new vehicle and we checked the system and it was clearly reset, so they knew the engine light was on, but disconnected it. I bought a suv from them last year now, and it’s been a HUGE money pit. I fix one thing then something else breaks and needs replaced. As soon as I had gotten it home the battery light turned on and hasn’t been turned off since. I thought it was just a glitch but no. It’s a lemon. Be careful the car you buy from there! I just bought another suv from Sundance who I definitely recommend!!!!!

Kristen Wilcox: If I could give 0 stars I would. I wish I read the reviews from google before I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I am a single mother to a one year old baby who is also 7 months pregnant and I financed a 2017 dodge grand caravan from them promised the "warranty will cover like everything wrong with the vehicle" and it certainly did not. I have owned the vehicle for 5 days. I have drove it less than 200 miles and it has both catalytic converters going {one completely gone}, front/read suspension isuues, and framing issues. I am stuck with $3,000 worth of repairs minimum and they are unwilling to put me into another vehicle- I did not want a refund as I was looking for a reliable vehicle. I am now paying $300/mo for this car for two years. Please never buy a vehicle from them. The whole staff also can't have a civil conversation to come to an agreement after they have sold you the vehicle they will let you know that it will take more money to take them to court then it will to take the loss This vehicle cost me $20,000 please don't let them rip you off! Date of service 05/12/2023.

I purchased a vehicle from south side auto a month ago, within a week and a half my vehicle stopped working, I was promised the vehicle was a good purchase and there wasn’t anything wrong with it, I had the vehicle fully inspected by and auto repair shop turns out the entire engine needs to be replaced and would cost a few thousand dollars, I am a mom on disability and I feel like I was taken advantage of and legally this isn’t fair I now have no transportation to get to and from UofM for my appointments they offer no help in this situation I was suggested to “Do what needs to be done and that it’ll cost me more to take them to court” I am appalled that a business treats their customers this way.

I was told by dealer car was involved in flood and pretty much is lost cause. Aaron the owner was rude about it when he was told about situation. Would recommend that everyone avoid buying from this lot.

THEY TOOK IT BACK TO SHOP AND PUT ON HOIST AND FOUND THE WHOLE FRAME RUSTED OUT AND THEY INDICATED THE CAR WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE--SOUTH SIDE AUTO IS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING. $6000 DOWN THE DRAINDO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY WITHOUT TAKING IT TO A REPAIR SHOP FOR INSPECTION!

In the first month the temp warning light came on. She called and South Side said the warranty was as-is?She did not have the money to take it in right away to get it looked at. The repair shop found a broken hose so around $250 for repair. After filling the anti-freeze coolant they took for test drive and found weird noises, rattles and shaking. They ran it up on the hoist and started looking and the whole frame and support system underneath was rusted out. They indicated that it was not a reparable issue and would need a new frame which would be way more than it was worth.Granddaughter and mother went to South Side to talk with the sales person about making it right and they were basically told "tough luck"!DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY WITHOUT TAKING IT TO A REPAIR SHOP FOR INSPECTION!

Anto-Nio: Would put 0 stars if possible. The Ford Escape I was interested in had a beautiful exterior and interior, but I took it to a shop for a used car inspection and only got bad news. Car was overheating when I test drove it, which made me take it to a shop (thank god), and they found spray paint not only over rust and imperfections, but all over the undercarriage. They can try and tell you they would never purposely sell a faulty car, but they obviously knew there were issues they were trying to hide. My mechanic explained thoroughly everything that was wrong, which was a plethora. He estimated $1000s in repairs (which he was not trying sell me, he encouraged me to go elsewhere as he has seen this sleazy behavior many times before). I let them know I was having it looked at, and when we arrived back at their business he was trying to get me to give him the inspection report, applying pressure and really trying to convince to hand it over when I very obviously didn’t want to and wasn’t going to, he told me he was going to call the shop I went to (which I called and requested them not to release the information I paid for, to which they agreed). I’m assuming he needed it because his “shop” only has spray paint, no actual mechanics or repairs happening. Was almost out $9000 + the $1000s in repairs that I would need.

Albert Paulin: If I could give them negative stars I would. Sales dept was good when I purchased my car but finance and service dept is absolutely horrible. Tyler in finance rushed me through so fast and didn’t explain any of the warranties to me. The finance manager told me with the warranty I wouldnt have anything to worry if I had an issue. Well my ac went out. I could not get service to call me back until I threatened to write a bad review. Being he didn’t call me back I had to take the vehicle elsewhere. Come to find out the warranty did not cover my ac. When Matt the service manager finally called me back, was telling me they just changed the transfer case. Which I know has nothing to do with my ac but I never had it in there and had my tc replaced. Matt is incompetent , has horrible communication skills and should not be in a position of management. I would stay clear of these clowns,The dealership is an absolute joke. Like I did said before. The sales experience was great but if you have an issue, good luck getting it fixed.I definitely do not recommend this dealership for anything and I will never buy a vehicle or use their service dept again.

Audriana J: Drop car off on 3/23 for recall work for the service 4-wheel drive light. Was called to pick it up on 3/24. Upon picking it up every light on dash was on in addition to the odometer flashing and keys not left it in. Floor manager available at that time instructed me to not drive it as he did not feel it was safe and service center was closed. When fixing the recall the transmission control module was fried and part took 6 weeks to come in. During this time a rental was provided. Once the part came in we were instructed to pick it up as it was “fixed”. Did not make it 4 miles before the same light the car was taken in for turned on. This is when they informed us this light was a different problem and not what they original ran diagnostics on, though it was what it was brought in for. Had to wait an additional week for that part to be brought in after speaking with the general manager. This experience cost me lots of time and frustration and could have been handled much better. I repeatedly asked to speak with the manager and each time he would have a tech call me back, when in shop manager never acknowledged our frustrations, spoke very condescending, and discredited our frustrations. The car was in the shop for 43 days, no communication unless started by us, and no progress until the general manager was involved.Would not recommend.

Chance Clark: DO NOT BUY HERE:This is more of a scrap yard than a car lot.Got a deal that was too good to be true. Car completely dies within 3 weeks. Mechanic says that rear parking breaks are completely rusted out (big issue for a manual car) 5 sensors are out, including the crankshaft and throttle sensors, so the car is completely immobilized, also needed a new computer unit that i can only get from a dealer. Mechanic said that will all the issues, its likely that the clock was rolled back.

I made the huge mistake of purchasing a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee that when I asked about the brake system, was told "we don't let a vehicle leave our lot unless it is at 50% or better". LIE, LIE, LIE.When I called Tony (owner) he said I should have known better. I said that I'm an accountant not a mechanic - I trusted them to be a reputable car lot - I was wrong to think that.After putting $2,481.00 into this vehicle for new brake pads, rotors, calipers, wheel bearing & hub assemblies, control arm, plus having to have the adjusters freed up in order to get an alignment for this vehicle, and no response from OK Auto Mart when I sent them a Priority USPS packet with all the receipts, cover letter and spreadsheet of the expenses.If you are looking to purchase a vehicle, run as fast as you can away from OK Auto Mart and Tony & Riak - they are nothing but liars.

Left the lot went to a car wash to find out the windshield leaks, found out the AC don't work, and less then 8 months later the turbo needs fixed and possibly the catalytic converter as well. I purchased this 2011 Chrysler 300 for $11,350. Was never told there was a dealer fee for $350. When the car arrived it sounded like a truck. they never told me that the resonators were removed. Had to spend $400 to repair, then also they never told me they had 4 winter tires on the car and the rear ones had flat spots, i can hear a small thumbing sound from the rear tires.Had to replace all four tires, another $400 plus. then i also have to have the ABS brakes checked because light keeps coming. Tony is your true salesman who only looks at the money he makes and screw the customer .BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

We as women are in the red when it comes to buying a car. My last car was a quick cheap buy when I go back and look at the paperwork I overlooked the fact that the dealership never serviced the car. In 2 years time the car started having major issues. If you are serious about your next purchase talk to your mechanic on the type of car that is better for you to purchase. They know from working on them what's the better quality of a vehicle. In saying that I just purchased a 2011 Ford Edge from Ok Mart what a smooth purchase. My mechanic was available by phone for me to ask him questions on this purchased. My brother was also there to talk to them about my trade in and the final cost of the vehicle. Ok Mart thank you! I appreciate you taking the time and patience in this wonderful purchase.
Matt Pryer: So far one star is not earned by OK automart. Yes ive read how nice they are and what good vehicles they have,and im sure they are nice and do have good vehicles. The issue is they implied their vehicle i bought was good too I asked if anything major was wrong with the ford f150 i was interested in, was it inspected , oh yes i was told and they advertise their vehicles are inspected. My wife and i trusted them with most our savings to put down on truck 6,000$ truck cost 23.000 in total, 2 days after buying truck several warning lights came on with more to follow. Noises from engine, noises from exhaust. I called and talked to man who sold truck to us, he said he would call me back to set up a time to bring it in. He didnt call me back. Took truck to Merrill Ford, after 300$ in knspection fees they informed me truck is in need of nearly 10,000$ in repair. Converters are engulfed in rust, exhaust manifold is warped and stud is seared off due to rust and on and on it goes. The engine has serious surge issue Ford hasnt fully diagnosed which of course means if they dig deeper the repair cost will go up and up and up. Lets see if OK automart cares really about their customers. Ive let them know of Fords findings. Would a dealership knowingly sell a vehicle that needs over 10,000 and climbing in repairs, i cant even drive this truck safely. FORD Said the truck has all the ear marks of a flood truck . I dropped of Fords preliminary estimates, they said the owner would call me. He hasnt a week later. To sum up the 23,000 truck i bought several weeks ago has either been at Ford dealership for inspection or my driveway, i drive it only if i have to , short distances. I understand the as is clause. However my wife and i were misled by Ok automart and if this can happen to us it can happen to others. So far they seem to think its ok to decimate a family financially and emotionally, 23,000$ i cant drive and 10,000$ and climbing repair bill i dont have, and a warranty that doesnt cover anything it says it covers far as i can tell. Only thing it will cover is 240$ towards a 640$ A/C condensor. I WILL GET INTO THIS MORE. ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE POSSIBLY WATCHING HOW you HANDLE This case. Are you at OK automart only nice and helpful when you sell a sound vehicle. because you didnt sell me a sound vehicle its about the most unsound vehicle out their. So is it ok to do what your doing to my family. As is or not this is quite outrageous dont you think OK Automart, a vehicle you said you inspected the implication was their that this vehicle was worthy. Ball is in your court

KJ Callihan: If your credit isn't bad enough yet, just come on into this place-- they'll make sure it gets WAYYY worse!This place is a disgrace. They run a million credit checks on you for cars you've never even seen before, let alone asked to test drive--and they won't stop even after you've refused their terrible offer and purchased a car elsewhere and **specifically asked them to stop*** running credit applications on cars you never asked about. I found out later this is called "shot gunning". Too bad I didn't know about it in time! I just got another letter in the mail about a credit application they ran on another car I never knew existed, wanted, or even asked to see-- 5 MONTHS AFTER I refused their horrible offer and told them both verbally and in writing that I purchased a car elsewhere and did not need anything from them.Your credit gets a ding every time they run their applications on these mystery vehicles they come up with -- some of them located in distant cities no one's ever even heard of--and nothing can make them stop.Also: All the 5 star reviews on here are given immediately after people get their cars, while they're excited and happy--but six months later (or sooner) when they realize they've been hoodwinked in one way or another, they forget to come back and give the truly deserved ZERO star rating.It's a scam, folks. I wish I never walked into this place. Work with a real dealership if you possibly can.

Matthew Delecki: My wife went and bought a 2021 Nissan Altima sv from this place on 5/17/2023. when we left, we noticed a slight noise. we took the vehicle to Petoskey that weekend for a family trip and the noise got worse and worse. so, I took it back to rightway on 5/22/2023 and they inspected it and fixed a dust shield, but the noise was still there. so, I was told to take it to auto labs their preferred repair facility. so, I make an appointment for auto labs for 8:30 on 5/23/2023. I drop the car off, at 12 that day auto labs called me and tells me the rear differential is severely damaged and will need to be replaced. but they ask me if I knew about it, and I say no why. they then tell me that the differential fluid has just been changed because the oil is new. so that is meaning that rightway knew about the damage to the rear end and still sold us the car. so auto labs called rightway and instructs them of what is wrong with the car. rightway says to fix it but to let them source the part because they can get it cheaper it will take 4-5 days to get the part though. auto labs informed rightway that they can get the part next day to get the car back up and running but rightway wants to save money, so they won't do it. so now me and my wife are sitting here without our vehicle. till at least June 5th. rightway won't even give us a loaner to use for the time being, stating that the damage is already done it is ok to keep driving the car till the part comes in. I am a state certified master mechanic and service manager for a heavy-duty truck shop. if I drive that car the way it is, and the driveshaft locks up in that rear differential from the damage. it could cause the driveshaft to snap and damage multiple other parts of the vehicle, or the wheel bearings can get damaged and lock up and loose a tire damaging the car further. this is an unacceptable experience. the only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of one is because rightway is covering all of the costs of the repairs. because I threw a fit because I only had the car for 3 days before it was severely damaged.

The first car I purchased from them was about as perfect as you can ask for on a used higher mileage vehicle. I’m a former licensed mechanic, and I inspected the truck very thoroughly prior to buying it (admittedly I’m sort of a pain in the rear customer haha), so they earned a customer for life when they offered me help getting me back on the road when it wasn’t required. LeeAnn DeYoung: I received the worst possible service from Williams Hyundai. My car was there for over 2 months, and while I was also wrestling my insurance during this time, the service advisors and manager Clint were not helpful in the slightest. I sent them the estimate from my insurance claim of the damages my car had from being vandalized, and I don’t think any of these people had the brains to read what was going on with my car. It took countless phone calls, emails, and I resorted to going in to the service center so I could actually talk to a person when they stopped answering. Then, when they had started repairs, they tried to give my car back without half of the repairs it NEEDED! For reference, it was vandalized: smashed passenger window, someone attempted to steal it so the ignition was broken, the side mirrors were shattered on the ground, and the rear view mirror was in the back seat. (Not to mention so much other cosmetic damage.) They tried to say it was finished and drivable with only a new window and ignition….. Last I checked, visibility is a requirement for the drivability of the car. Clint, the service manager, said I “didn’t tell him it needed mirrors.” And this was a complete lack of comprehension on their end, as I communicated my car’s needs with Clint multiple times in various modes of communication.They also had the insurance quote with all the damage to my car listed. And, is that not common sense?If they weren’t the only Hyundai dealership in town, I wouldn’t have let it stay for that long. Maybe if I had a newer car they would’ve cared more, but unless this place is your last resort, I would avoid it like the plague.

B83ful: Please take your vehicle to another VW dealership if you value your hard-earned money.I bought a 2014 Tiguan in April 2019, and a month later, the check engine light came on. I took the car in, and they ran a diagnostic, and two issues appeared: fault codes for turbo/under over boost and turbocharger pressure sensor. They only replaced the three wires for the pressure sensor. One month later, the check engine light came back on. Guess what the vehicle scan found; fault codes for the turbo under boost! Because it was under warranty, they were forced to replace it. Fast forward to May 2022, my check engine light comes back on for what? You guessed it, fault codes for turbo under boost!Since I am familiar with their tactics, I took the vehicle to be inspected before taking it to them. In a nutshell, the turbo should not fail on a car twice that only has 47K miles. Williams VW told me it wasn’t the turbo under boost; the actuator rusted because “I babied the vehicle,” “I didn’t drive it enough,” “weather conditions,” and “I only drove locally.” Reviewing my receipt from 2019, they didn’t replace the actuator; they only replaced the turbo. Although, the turbo and the actuator are connected. To be clear, I put 12k miles on my vehicles over three years, but I didn’t “drive it enough” They offered to “work with me for the low, low price of 2500!Save your money. Go to another VW dealership. The reviews are true.
Sam Postalot: Horrible customer service. I have repeatedly called the Audi dealership and can't get through to a servuce department person. Always get sent to the general mailbox which no one ever checks and if they do they do not return messages. I have to call the parts department to get transferred to Bobby the service writer. Typical wait time is over 40 min before him or anyone will answer the phone. I am told he will call me back its been 3 days still no call back and this is not the first time. Called today waited 45 min could not wait any longer.
Terra Fuller: When I got my Q3 delivered I drove up to the new beautiful Audi facility in Okemos to show Benjamin. He has been so wonderful and fun to work with. He took time to help me register my Audi. He also showed me again many of the functions we had reviewed when I did a test drive weeks earlier. I left feeling very confident with my new auto and I feel I can come back or contact Benjamin with any questions I have in the future. It feels great to be a part of the Audi Family.

Spencer Parker: Awful customer service. Wanted a virtual tour of the car I was looking at but they would not set it up they want to force you to the dealership to get you on site. I asked if the salesman had gotten my email, I know he did, and he responds oh sorry we had technical difficulties lol. Give me a break. Was very serious about purchasing a car, had the salesman tell me he “shifted his focus to serious buyers”. What a joke I bought the exact car I was looking at a day later from a much more professional dealer. Have to call 10 times to get the sales department to pick up the phone. They want you to sign a contract before you even get into serious details about buying the car. Complaints go on and on. If I could give 0 stars I would.
