Bergundy Atkinson: Did you know you cant get a refund if the dont clean your items right? Just a gift certificate. DON'T DO IT!! Not acceptable. I had them clean a chaise and a chair for me @$129. The chaise is fine. My upholstered recliner. You could see the dirt on 4 different areas of the chair. So I called to reschedule that Monday 1-6. I had a car accident that Sunday. Long story short. I told them I already work during the week til 5:30. So she said she would schedule the reclean for the 1-6 time frame and have them to come as close to the end of the time frame as possible Today was the second reschedule past the cleaning. When I jumped thru all kinds of hoops at work to get off an hour early so that they could make good on cleaning my chair. They call me at 3pm. Saying that they are 1/2hr out from my house. I said...I'm at work. I got the ok to get off at 4:30. But I cant get off no earlier. I already put them in a bind getting off at 4:30. So they asked me to reschedule for a THIRD time. After I'd told them it would only take me 10mins to get to my house. They still insisted that I reschedule. I told them I need the chair recleaned today because it is scheduled to be moved out tomorrow. And carpet is scheduled to be installed on Saturday. Clean it today or give me my money back. They said reschedule with a $25 gift certificate. I said no. I want $65 of my money back for the cleaning. They said we will give you a $50 dollar gift certificate. I said. I DONT KNOW WHY I WOULD EVEN WANT THEM TO CLEAN MY CHAIR AGAIN AFTER THE QUALITY THEY SHOWED ME THE FIRST TIME. Give me my money back! I told them that I should have called MAGNA-DRY. The cleaners I used to use before moving out of state. Never ever had a problem with them. First time using Modernistic. NEVER AGAIN!! Itold them that I would be calling the Better Business Bureau. Their corporate office. And that I would be leaving this review. Its after 5pm. I'm headed over to their social medias to leave reviews there too. We have a 1 year old so we were concerned, as air was working before ducts were cleaned. We called Modernistic and their answering service was incredibly rude. We never got a call back, despite calling the emergency line and asking to to talk to a supervisor.

Angela Sorrells: I hired this company to clean my ducts in December of 2017. I assumed all was well until I received the news, while I had a new furnace installed in June of 2018, that my ducts needed cleaning. I explained to the furnace company that I just had them cleaned by Ace. The furnace installer kindly showed me the nearly 1 inch thick debris still in my duct (one he was working on for furnace installation). He even took pictures of it for me to document it.When I contacted this company about the poor result, the owners insisted I had my ducts cleaned in 2015 (and not just 6 months ago). I told him he was wrong. He agreed that we were at an impasse: I insisted work was done in 2017; he said it was done in 2015. I even emailed him a copy of the check, showing the bank's date stamp of 12/18/2017 on it.Do NOT hire this company to do anything for you. I highly doubt they'll come back out to my house and do this right. So I'm now out $195 and still have filthy ducts in my house. Please see the photo attached. This is what they left behind during their "cleaning". Avoid this company!

John Vogl: Myself and my family have been bringing our rugs here for years - we wouldn't go anywhere else in town. Great family owned store. The prices are very reasonable and the work is phenomenal every time. Their attention to detail and instructions is spot on, if there are any hiccups they inform you of them and do what they can to resolve them, and the staff is incredibly helpful, i.e., loading and unloading rugs. Highly recommended!

Dan A: First visit to ACE Rug Cleaning, Took a lightly soiled area rug in early December which I would imagine is a busy time of year. Got it back in less than a week looking better than new. Friendly staff unloaded and loaded the rug for me. I had gotten a quote from another area cleaner that advertises a lot, but they were nearly double the ACE price after a coupon. I think I've found my new rug cleaner.

To me it seems like a professional, honest business would welcome the dialogue of a unhappy customer. The company accidently ripped my chair, I called the owner so we could discuss this. In addition, one of the main stains didn't come out of my item. The stain I took the chair to this business for didn't come out and there chair looked horrible, it was was ripped when I got it back and there was a blue ink stain on the back of the chair, from what looked like a written ink tag on the back. So overall i was displeased with the company i just wanted to talk with Ruth or anyone that could explain what happened.I will never, ever, do business here again! Ruth refused to discuss any of my concerns like a professional business owner would want to do. Ruth, actually said I ripped by own chair and she HUNG up on me! Rebecca Coleman: Went with my father to pickup my parents area rug they had cleaned. They had called prior to picking it up to make sure it was folded and not rolled so it would fit in the vehicle. We got there and it was rolled. Then once they fixed it we were finally able to put in the vehicle. We waited until after the holidays to put the rug back down and noticed the stains my parents specifically told them about were still there. It cost over $300 to clean so it was really disappointing to see it didn't look any different than it did before the cleaning. If they ever clean another rug I will definitely request to have it laid out to examine before taking to prevent it from happening again.

I called them after-hours and I received a call back the same day! We scheduled an appointment for later in the week and as soon as they got in— they went to WORK! Done with the whole 900-square foot apartment in about 40 minutes.I can’t express how thankful I am because they’ve made my new place feel like a home when I was worried that might not be possible. Debra Reisner: I used their services twice, the first time was to have my carpets clean, they did an outstanding job for a reasonable price, and were super friendly, polite, helpful, and professional. I had some water damage to my basement a few months later and they were the company that I called immediately. They were over the next day and the damage was a little more intensive than I had thought, their biggest concern was to do the job right. They were at my house every day that week to make sure all of the water was removed and the floor was dry and at a very fair price. When I tell people about the work they did to get my basement right and tell them the cost, they are surprised at how reasonable it was. Professional, friendly, quality work. Randy Bowen: Tom Adkins told my wife one price then showed at our home he next day and her not being there he lied to me and charged me 100$ more. When confronted over the phone he just laughed. We found out he is fresh out of prison also. Beware on letting this man into your home and any of his hoodlums. He makes a bad name for people out here making a honest lIrving. I was shocked when he just laughed at me after he ripped me off. Buyer beware

Angie Cassel: For anything carpet related we only use Tom Adkin's company and recommend him to anybody needing carpet installation or repair. They are quick, both in response time and in their work, and the price is very reasonable. We have personally used Lansing Carpet at least half a dozen times and have been exceedingly pleased with the results every single time. We have referred many friends and family and I also give his name to real estate clients looking to have carpet done, either before a sale or after a purchase, and have heard only good things from all of them as well.

Randie S: We were referred to Tom. He was available to take measurements the same day. He was able to squeeze us in to ensure our carpet was installed when we needed. He called the day before to confirm the installation and even picked up our carpet for us. The installers we very nice and personable and they called to see if they could come early. They were very knowledgeable friendly and the job was completed without any incidents. The carpet install looks great and we are very happy. Price was very fair. I would recommend.

Ryan McElhone: Lansing Carpet was great. After calling around and getting no response from other companies in the area, they scheduled me for the next day. They were incredibly considerate about my work schedule, calling to make sure that I would be able to make it or see if I needed to adjust. They arrived when they said they would and were professional and courteous. The job was done well and at a good price. I also asked what they recommended for securing down a loose piece of carpet I was going to fix myself at a later date. They took care of it for no charge. Would highly recommend.

Patched in a piece of carpet to cover the ripped up portion our great Dane tore up. Would definitely use their services again.

Ethan Estabrook: I was messing around with my reptile enclosure and foolishly set my heat lamp on the carpet. A few minutes later I burnt a large 5 inch hole into the carpet. I called another company first and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could come fix it. I called Lansing Carpet and they said they could be there the next day. They fixed it in about 15 minutes and I couldn't tell where the old burn mark was. I had to get down and really look for it to see where the patch was. I had a very good experience with them - they were quick, provided quality work and offered a very good price.

Unknown User: Would not recommend. Does not return calls and have had several no shows. So sad in this day and age to have such poor customer service skills.
