To me it seems like a professional, honest business would welcome the dialogue of a unhappy customer. The company accidently ripped my chair, I called the owner so we could discuss this. In addition, one of the main stains didn't come out of my item. The stain I took the chair to this business for didn't come out and there chair looked horrible, it was was ripped when I got it back and there was a blue ink stain on the back of the chair, from what looked like a written ink tag on the back. So overall i was displeased with the company i just wanted to talk with Ruth or anyone that could explain what happened.I will never, ever, do business here again! Ruth refused to discuss any of my concerns like a professional business owner would want to do. Ruth, actually said I ripped by own chair and she HUNG up on me! Poor woman so unprofessional!STAY FAR AWAY from this business! Rebecca Coleman: Went with my father to pickup my parents area rug they had cleaned. They had called prior to picking it up to make sure it was folded and not rolled so it would fit in the vehicle. We got there and it was rolled. Then once they fixed it we were finally able to put in the vehicle. We waited until after the holidays to put the rug back down and noticed the stains my parents specifically told them about were still there. It cost over $300 to clean so it was really disappointing to see it didn't look any different than it did before the cleaning. If they ever clean another rug I will definitely request to have it laid out to examine before taking to prevent it from happening again.

Bergundy Atkinson: Did you know you cant get a refund if the dont clean your items right? Just a gift certificate. DON'T DO IT!! Not acceptable. I had them clean a chaise and a chair for me @$129. The chaise is fine. My upholstered recliner. You could see the dirt on 4 different areas of the chair. So I called to reschedule that Monday 1-6. I had a car accident that Sunday. Long story short. I told them I already work during the week til 5:30. So she said she would schedule the reclean for the 1-6 time frame and have them to come as close to the end of the time frame as possible Today was the second reschedule past the cleaning. When I jumped thru all kinds of hoops at work to get off an hour early so that they could make good on cleaning my chair. They call me at 3pm. Saying that they are 1/2hr out from my house. I said...I'm at work. I got the ok to get off at 4:30. But I cant get off no earlier. I already put them in a bind getting off at 4:30. So they asked me to reschedule for a THIRD time. After I'd told them it would only take me 10mins to get to my house. They still insisted that I reschedule. I told them I need the chair recleaned today because it is scheduled to be moved out tomorrow. And carpet is scheduled to be installed on Saturday. Clean it today or give me my money back. They said reschedule with a $25 gift certificate. I said no. I want $65 of my money back for the cleaning. They said we will give you a $50 dollar gift certificate. I said. I DONT KNOW WHY I WOULD EVEN WANT THEM TO CLEAN MY CHAIR AGAIN AFTER THE QUALITY THEY SHOWED ME THE FIRST TIME. Give me my money back! I told them that I should have called MAGNA-DRY. The cleaners I used to use before moving out of state. Never ever had a problem with them. First time using Modernistic. NEVER AGAIN!! Itold them that I would be calling the Better Business Bureau. Their corporate office. And that I would be leaving this review. Its after 5pm. I'm headed over to their social medias to leave reviews there too. He had permeated my still fairly new couch with a stale sour smell that infected the room and made sitting on it unpleasant. He FINALLY moved out, and two hours later a pair of Stanley Steemer guys arrived to clean and deodorize my couch. This was yesterday. Today I'm lounging on my couch and it feels clean, and for the first time in like 10 months I don't smell disgusting BO. My cats, my roommate, and I are all so grateful to not be imprisoned by this awful smell anymore. The two guys (I'm so sorry I didn't get your names, I hope they can track through the gmail and find out who did the job to give you two the praise you deserve) were on time rather early in the arrival window, friendly, professional, they got the job done quickly, explained well the care instructions to get the deodorizer working to maximum efficiency, and they even surprised me with an unexpected discount from being a first time customer or something of the sort. They even warned me they'd need to leave the front door open to string the hoses out, so I could shut up my door darter cat who was very interested in what was going on. I've asked several times that the glass tops on the tables and stands be cleaned with glass cleaner NOT with dust clothes or feather dusters. Again this time it was not done correctly on all the glass surfaces, consequently they look like they have a fillmy on them. PLEASE stop trying to dust glass with cloths and feather dusters.4.Most of the window ledges weren't dusted. I found cobwebs on 3 of them.5. In the master bathroom in the north-east corner where the ceiling and wall meet there is still a big cobweb and window frames not dusted.6. S M: I had a move out cleaning done. While they did a great job cleaning up general mess (wiping counters, mopping floors), but they refused to clean anything you might deem as gross. We had some yuck in the sink that was just left there by them and a spot on the floor that was from a picture that had fallen off the fridge and gotten wet and left a brown spot from colors running. They claimed it was fecal (it was not) and refused to clean it. The overall cleaning was lackluster for what we paid. I won't be using this service again.Service:Moving-related cleaning

TheBombshellBabydoll: I selected this company specifically because they use green/pet friendly cleaning products. The job was to deep clean my entire house to be ready to be moved into. I was told that the staff would be at my house between 10:30-11:30. They got there at roughly 11:45 and were both (2 staff members) very friendly, especially the gentleman. I left them to do thier job and they were there till about 3 PM. I figured with that much time and two people, that the place would be sparkling. I wouldn't say that they did a terrible job but I wouldn't say it was excellent either. They really did an awesome job cleaning my hardwood floors and the bathrooms. However, I paid $100 additional to have my fridge cleaned and they 100% didn't clean the freezer or even wipe it down what so ever. I also noted that non of the cupboards in kitchen or restroom were wiped out. I don't know if that is something they DONT do but I don't see why they couldn't just take a cloth and at least get the darn crumbs out for me?? I want to also add for potential customers, is that they won't clean your walls, windows (interior and exterior) or anything high up like a ceiling fan. The place smelled very clean and I felt good allowing my family to move in but I won't be recommending this company to friends or family due to lack of detail and the $100 surcharge for an incomplete service.
