NO, WE WILL NOT BILL YOU FOR THIS. All of a sudden we have 2700 dollar bill to eat we ask the question we get lied too. My fault for not getting it I writing. This company left my dad’s house a mess in 2017 and I thought the water was mediated until recently a lot of BLACK MOLD was discovered in the basement and living room, and was informed that J&L was the company my dad’s referred him to because they are on contractor connect. They responded to do some work from wind and water damage and DID NOT do any water mitigation and now there is mold. You did repairs to the ceiling, and NOTHING to the floor carpet which hadbeautiful wood underneath that water had landed on. You replaced ceiling tiles and NOTHING to the basement floor where water also landed. You clearly saw water and DID NOTHING! So the back story: 5 years ago we had some construction done adding a new kitchen including all new plumbing. Fast forward this past weekend we had a run-of-the-mill clog in the line. Well, what we didn't know was the PVC drain pipe had a saw cut on the top of it. Because the drain was backed up it began leaking out of that cut on the top of the pipe. This flooded one of our downstairs bedrooms. Because we use it as storage it went unnoticed for an extended period of time. It also meant water and kitchen/dishwasher sewage had flooded the room and the carpet, baseboards, walls, and of course caused the ceiling to cave in. We had a mess on our hands for sure. Jennifer Alexander: Camelot came to our house at the recommendation of our plumber after a pipe burst and caused water damage. They showed up quickly and were initially very professional. Then it came time for the estimate and it turned crazy. The once nice technician turned into an aggressive, belligerent *-hole. What changed his behavior you ask? My wife ask simple questions about the process. Specifically concerning insurance reimbursement and why we were being asked to pay the insurance deductible to them instead of our insurance company. He was dismissive and condescending. He started openly criticizing her. He was verbally aggressive and the way he spoke to her was abusive. All this while sitting at our kitchen table in HER home . I stood frozen thinking there is no way this is actually happening. My biggest regret is not heading to the kitchen for our cast iron skillet to shut this guy up. It was outrageous! I’m not sure if this is standard behavior for him, but my guess is he showed us exactly who he is and what type of company Camelot is. If you are a woman, a minority, LGBTQ, or anyone who doesn’t feel like enduring coercive sales practices and verbal abuses, I’d avoid Camelot. If this is the people they employ then it’s a big NO for me.

Ron Patterson: Company was over priced and charged extra days because an employee didn't want to work on Saturday to pick up the equipment. When they came out on the first visit they overwhelmed an elderly and widowed lady and got her to sign an outrageous amount of over $7000 telling her that they needed to get to work right away. By the time she could think something wasn't right and she got a hold of me it was irreversible as she had been pressured to sign the contract right away When I talked with the owner and told him that she only had coverage for $5000, he told me to send the insurance check for $5000 and he would work out a payment plan for the remaining amount that turned out to not be true and charged a credit card to the max as soon as they received the insurance check and their office later told her they don't do payment plans so I was lied to. Lauren Woods: Do yourself a favor and call other companies! McCardel tried to charge us thousands of dollars for restoration two other companies agreed we did not need. The two other companies looked more closely at the problem and left without charging me a thing- McCardel will charge you $150 to come out and try to sell you. When I called to share my dissatisfaction at being swindled, they had excuses. They take advantage of people in times of need.

Bergundy Atkinson: Did you know you cant get a refund if the dont clean your items right? Just a gift certificate. DON'T DO IT!! Not acceptable. I had them clean a chaise and a chair for me @$129. The chaise is fine. My upholstered recliner. You could see the dirt on 4 different areas of the chair. So I called to reschedule that Monday 1-6. I had a car accident that Sunday. Long story short. I told them I already work during the week til 5:30. So she said she would schedule the reclean for the 1-6 time frame and have them to come as close to the end of the time frame as possible Today was the second reschedule past the cleaning. When I jumped thru all kinds of hoops at work to get off an hour early so that they could make good on cleaning my chair. They call me at 3pm. Saying that they are 1/2hr out from my house. I said...I'm at work. I got the ok to get off at 4:30. But I cant get off no earlier. I already put them in a bind getting off at 4:30. So they asked me to reschedule for a THIRD time. After I'd told them it would only take me 10mins to get to my house. They still insisted that I reschedule. I told them I need the chair recleaned today because it is scheduled to be moved out tomorrow. And carpet is scheduled to be installed on Saturday. Clean it today or give me my money back. They said reschedule with a $25 gift certificate. I said no. I want $65 of my money back for the cleaning. They said we will give you a $50 dollar gift certificate. I said. I DONT KNOW WHY I WOULD EVEN WANT THEM TO CLEAN MY CHAIR AGAIN AFTER THE QUALITY THEY SHOWED ME THE FIRST TIME. Give me my money back! I told them that I should have called MAGNA-DRY. The cleaners I used to use before moving out of state. Never ever had a problem with them. First time using Modernistic. NEVER AGAIN!! Itold them that I would be calling the Better Business Bureau. Their corporate office. And that I would be leaving this review. Its after 5pm. I'm headed over to their social medias to leave reviews there too. Todd Lebedin (Sickwell): I had extensive water damage at my house from a leak that no one could find. I was referred to Anew and I now question the business that referred me as well. First he charges over twice what others do to walk in and starts off with scare tactics of wearing a tyvek suit because of "mold". I had 3 other services come over and none of them needed a suit nor understood why someone would. Then he starts walking around getting giddy about all the things he has to throw out and rip out of my house. None of which being necessary for Servpro to do the job. Then I was told I would have to leave my house for 3 months. Once again none of the other providers understood why I would have to leave and Servpro did the job while I was in my home. After the inspection they just wanted the money for the inspection but did not want to give me a quote. I had to literally fight to get the quote. In the end their quote was extremally bloated with things that were not necessary. When I asked again why I needed to leave my house when others said I didn't they told me that I didn't have to pay for the inspection since I had found someone to do the job who would also let me stay in my house to see what they were doing. Very shady experience all around. And in the end Servpro did the job while I was home in 1/3 the time Anew said they needed at half (YES HALF) the cost in Anew's estimate. Stay away at all costs.
