Jennifer P: Firstly, the staff is friendly and accommodating. My friend and I each got a relaxation massage and it was just that. The girls did an excellent job. I wanted to pay extra to nap afterward because it was so relaxing! The reason I am dropping a star is because my pedicure did not turn out the best. Maybe it was the polish that I picked (a lot of the selection looked older, separated), but whatever the reason it was the greatest. We were also there on a weekend and the reception/ waiting area was PACKED. The space is so tiny that if there are more than two people waiting there is nowhere to stand or sit. You will feel claustrophobic when you try to pay. Also, like others have mentioned the space is severely outdated. The mani pedi area is carpeted (old carpet with many spilled polish stains), it could definitely use an update.

I didn't care for the massage because it felt very generic and the music playing had words in it, as well as advertisements, which were very distracting.

Anna Klein: Let me begin by saying that everyone was nice and the spa looked well put together. My husband bought me a total body renewal package for $307. It included an hour facial, spa pedicure, manicure, an hour massage, and lunch. The facial felt nice, but it just seemed to be like a glorified face wash. It didn’t include an exfoliation or extraction when I specifically listed my concern was black heads. Again, it felt nice, but was lackluster. I feel like my skin looked no better than when I do my home routine. Secondly, I’ve never been to a spa that doesn’t have massage chairs and spa baths connected directly to the waterline. This spa pedicure looked like a foot bath you could purchase from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. My toenails were nicely painted and cuticles trimmed, but I have had more thorough cleanings elsewhere. My big toes still have callouses on them. They were hardly smoothed and my legs and feet not massaged whatsoever. I can do more thorough smoothing spa pedicure in my own home. The manicure was good and attention to detail was immaculate, except she forgot to do the included paraffin wax until after my nails were painted; we tried drying them thoroughly under the dryer before doing the wax dip, but they still weren’t fully dry and a few nails smudged (I should’ve spoken up before she started polishing my nails, but I don’t get many manicures so I wasn’t sure of the process). The massage was okay. The masseuse did some rotational moves on my arms and legs and said something along the lines of, “Okay, there it is,” and honestly, nothing happened.There is absolutely no way these combined services were worth $347 after tipping. I feel bad leaving this review because everyone was nice, but the overall experience was a huge let down.
Gloria Flowers: I went on my birthday and was very disappointed...i paid for full hour, got there early and only got 40 minutes of a massage...the lady that gave the massage talked the whole time but was good at what she does. The owner was at the front desk "supposed" to be a greeter and showed no compassion, no smile, took my money and didn't care. She was also on the phone texting and rushing me to leave. I have been coming to Roehms for 8 or more years and have always had ok service until this day. I wont be back.
Kathryn Jo Pittsley: It’s horrible that Barb..( the owner) can get away with being so disrespectful, to her employees, right in front of customers. She enjoys belittling people.. I packed my belongings up on Saturday. I wasn’t going back to work there. She was clearly aware of that. And she made a big deal on Wednesday about firing me. I think somehow she just enjoys those words… I had found out she was bashing me outside of the business through a mutual friend. A week prior.. she talks about all of her employees so horribly.. The spa It’s just a right off for her. She doesn’t care about that business. barb claims, there’s no employees ..because there’s no one to hire.. she gets plenty of great workers. But she will make sure to find a way to get rid of them. there’s a shady reason behind that…

But when we arrived they looked confused as to why we were there. When I told them they said they canceled it because the employee called in this is the 3rd time this has happened to us. They called the day before to confirm the appointment and I told them yes but I got no call the day of even though they said they called. Wont be going back. Unreliable services.

Lindsey Richardson: I chose this place because it was available for the day we wanted (even though the same service was quite a bit cheaper at nearby locations). The location is good and the salon is clean and nice but I give this business a 1 star because of the owner and the way things are run. If I could rate the massage therapists separately that number would be different. My husband and I arrived 15 minutes early for our couples massage, filled out their paperwork and waited for our scheduled time to start. One of the massage therapists came out and talked to us and said the other one was running behind and it should be just a couple minutes. More time passed by and the owner showed up. She was nice to us, but so very rude and belittling to her staff. The first thing she says to the receptionist in a condescending tone is that 'She doesn't care about that'. She continued to talk to her this way the entire time we waited. She also talked about her own staff saying 'they were selfish' and when the receptionist told her she prepped some pedicure bowls she said, 'well... tell them to say thank you'. DEFINITELY not appreciative of her staff at all. This kind of business should not be at the front desk where customers are waiting. It made us VERY uncomfortable and my husband mentioned being in the middle of all the stress while trying to have a spa day. We sat there for a long time and the only explanation we got was 'its going to be a few minutes' every time. At some point during the wait, the original massage therapist who was supposed to be with us left for the day. We didn't get called back until an HOUR after we arrived. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable for a business to run this way. Thankfully we didn't have anywhere to be, I would have been pretty upset if I had made the other appointments I originally planned. The massages themselves were good. Not the best I've had but they were thorough. I would ask for more back work next time. I didn't even check to see if we got our full time there. I didn't get hot towels but my husband did. He also came back with a swollen burn on his neck from her nail. We did not complain the entire time or say anything when we checked out. When we came out the owner was gone. The receptionist said she would try to get us a good discount on a return service and my husband asked if they could do anything today and she said no, the owner has to approve it, but she had our number and would call us. When she ran my card she did not disclose a card fee which was another nearly $7. They really should be telling people that before they even come in. They also take your card information over the phone so they can charge you if you are a no show. I think this owner is greedy from the way things are run and the things I saw and heard. I also waited a week to complete my review to see if they redeemed themselves, but I haven't heard a word. It's too bad the owner is the way she is because there are so many nice professionals working there that made us feel welcome. I would not return.
Samantha Hughes: My husband and I visited today for a couple’s massage in celebration of our Wedding Anniversary. The receptionist, Erica along with the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming-the spa was clean and inviting. Anahit was my husband’s therapist, and Shane Marie was mine. Both were courteous, kind and professional. Shane Marie worked miracles on my neck and shoulders (especially). 6 out of 5 Stars!!!! Thank you for the stellar service and care!!! 💖😍💖
Rhonda Bishop: I experienced a half day spa package which consisted of a facial with Luba, massage with Eilien and mani/pedi with Anahit. I’ll start by confirming the unpleasant interactions with the receptionist/owner. I witnessed her chastise her staff without any sense of professionalism - the facts that clients were present did not seem to matter and I quickly became empathetic to the employees. All three of my services were great! Luba, Eilien and Anahit take a lot of pride in their craft and that resonated through their services. I’d recommend their services but do think the spa can benefit from a number of culture changes - more inclusive sizing for their spa robes, strengthened professionalism by refraining from staff conversations (I was within ear shot of conversations around tips and personal scheduling issues) and mitigate all personnel matters to a more private area.
Lindsey Ball: I was working here for a short period of time, as a receptionist/cleaner while I was employed I received great feed back from clients as well as good google reviews about my amazing customer service. Punctuality is a value I would say is important to me. I was always early and stayed late. I worked all hours even when I was at home, I did the advertising with social media. Its unfortunate that the owner which was my boss never gave me a set schedule on a weekly basis, I was supposed to stay available for whenever she needed me. Which I did with no problem, I wanted to learn about the spa business and I enjoyed the other employees. I was then fired over text message and told that she did not have to give me a reason, and that was the last she was going to speak about it. I was underpaid, verbally embarrassed in front of clients with how she would speak to me if I didn't understand something, had no stability in my work schedule and then fired without any reasoning behind it. She then talks terribly about her other employees and threatens to dock their pay if they don't remember her rules. Definitely think twice about going here and think long and hard if you are planning on working here. The staff is amazing, the girls that work there are skilled and talented at what they do.... unfortunately its just the worst management I have ever seen. I wish all the best to the awesome cosmetologist and massage therapist that work there!!! I will always miss you.

Chantal Camilleri: Linda of Innova Salon & Spa is great! She's a skilled hairdresser and trained in many other services (massage, facial, Manis, etc). She's been in the biz forever (including her salon in NYC!) and really knows what she's doing! She's caring and careful, takes time to understand what you want before diving in. I've never had a bad experience and I've been going to her since she opened!
