I was told a specific amount per hour for the work but they did not advise me this was a per person charge and not a per job charge. When I reached out with questions about the bill, I had to call 2 times and email 2 times before I heard any response. When they finally responded they did not answer my questions and sent the bill to collections. If you hire them make sure you ask them to explain the total hourly charge for the work and not just the charge per person, otherwise you may end up with a bill that is double what you expect.Service:Toilet installation

Kathryn Rejaei: charged us 105$ to do nothing, just walked around and sniffed the air in the house and said they couldn't fix anything. Other plumbers we called never charged when they couldn't fix anything. At no point did they tell us when we scheduled the call, when they were here, or after they left that we would be charged. Suddenly we received a bill. I called to inquire about this and the woman answering the phone was extremely rude and asked why I would assume we wouldn't be charged as if I was dumb for just questioning a bill for nothing. I explained to her why I would assume cause every other plumber was like that and she continued to be rude.

Zach Engelman: HVAC professional from Myers came to my apartment yesterday to fix our air conditioner. Gentleman did a wonder job! Our ac is working better than ever! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of my questions! With it being 90+ degrees outside, we were in desperate need of an AC repair. Two other HVAC companies were unable to properly diagnose/fix our unit. Myers came promptly and did a fantastic job! I would definitely recommend them!

Rebecca Hawkins: These people are scammers and in cahoots with Home Depot. First, Home Depot delivered my dishwasher and then proceeded to tell me my water valve “could not be shut off.” I argued with the man but to no avail. He then told me a plumber would come out “for free.” After several follow ups trying to get my dishwasher from home depot installed by said plumber, they finally came out two days after delivery. The plumbing company runs a scam where they automatically tell you that they need to replace a valve or water shut-off knob because it is old or “presents a liability.” The scammer team takes a picture of your pipes under the sink and shows it to you, along with a picture of a brand new valve and shiny pipe that they just happen to have on their phones. They then offer to replace the pipes for $375. I argued with them but to no avail yet again. At this point, I was so fed up with the whole process (and by the way, Home Depot conveniently doesn’t accept dishwasher returns after 48 hours), I allowed them to change the pipe. After doing some online research, we see that this is a common scam that Home Depot and the plumbing company run with all of their customers. Never again will I do business with either company. Buyer beware. I encourage others to file complaints with BBB, the FTC and the Virginia Attorney General to help put a stop to this scam.

Not only did he not show up on Saturday, he never returned my calls. I'm writing this review 4 days after my appointment... I completely understanding not being able to make appointments.. unexpected things happen. What I cannot understand, is not returning a customers call. With the power of social media, Google reviews etc. it is very easy to lose multiple customers because you simply didn't return a call. Michael Morris: These thieves were sent out on in April to install a dishwasher that was purchased from a major retailer. I immediately set up an appointment with our local plumber and paid them to install the dishwasher and they did so without any problems and did not have to replace any pipes or valves. My wife saw another review for these scammers that another person had the same experience so we were prepared. If we hadn't read that I may have assumed these people were telling the truth. I would never use this company again and if anyone does, they should be very careful and aware that they are dishonest and will tell customers that they need work when it is not necessary.

They didn't show up, I called and then the receptionist told me that the plumber broke down and will not be able to make it, but it will come the next day. I was not given a time, the receptionist told me she would call later that night.She never called. The next day i called and asked what time the plumber was coming in. Carlos told me he couldn't have a plumber at my house that day, I told him I couldn't wait any longer. He didn't give me a time, i waited all day for these plumbers. Eventually they came at almost 5 pm. They didn't even want to take their trash. Unbelievable!!!!!!!

Please forgive me, I can't figure out how to delete it.Bottom line up front: stay away from this company if possible. Home Depot sent this company to hook up the water line to our new refrigerator. HD said explicitly there would be no additional charge for install since we had paid for the service at the time of purchase. Of course, first thing JEG says it will need to charge extra for intallation of a copper line. Technicians could not give a price estimate even though they do this work everyday. When we argued with them about the installation charge, they simply walked out of my house without a word. I have witnessed bad customer service before, but this one takes the cake. Do yourself a favor and don't pay for installation for HD appliances, just go ahead and hire a REPUTABLE plumber to do the work. JEG is NOT that company. Nobody I know will ever do business with this company if I can help it. This "service" is a racket. Be wary of the upcharge.

Was told by the nice young lady that answered the phone that she couldn't get anyone out until Friday ( I called on a Wednesday) and I told her that was fine, at least I could get an appointment on the books. Not even 10 minutes later, she called back and said that someone would be out today and that she just couldn't promise what time it would be. No problem I told her. The guy from the store was trying to help, but wasn't very experienced. That's when Robert from American Plumbing overheard our conversation and jumped in to help me. Robert was so knowledgeable and helpful that I left with everything I needed and instructions how to do it. The also gave me his number in case I needed help.Upon pulling out the old cartridge, it broke apart and I thought I really messed up. So I called Robert. Kevin Schoen: I am a landlord and have a bunch of houses. I have used these guys for putting in new furnaces, and water heaters. They are inexpensive and get the job done. On repairs generally they will not over charge, but are not always available 24*7. Often it is better to replace stuff than spent a lot of money on repairs. They like to be paid upfront/quickly, but you are far more likely to get a good cost on a new furnace than other contractors. Top grade people, easy to work with.
