miles fitzpatrick: Fast, friendly service worth your visit while in Lansing. Today, I had the Italian with Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese was very creamy as apposed to the African American “Casserole Presentation.” Nevertheless, it was a great lunch served outside which is always a great vibe!!

Theresa Staley: I called to place an order and no one ever answered the phone. So, I went to place an order. Like many other times, the first thing we heard was the cashier telling someone what they were out of - that has happened a number of times to us. When I got to the new location, no one working there seemed in any particular hurry. When I got home, I realized that my order was wrong. I tried to call a manager regarding the order and no one ever answered the phone. This is why I don’t go to McAllister’s very often.

Zach: Worst McAlisters I’ve ever been to. Super sad because this used to be my favorite place. Half of the long term menu items aren’t offered, ice tea was hardly sweet, of the two potatoes I ordered one was over cooked and the other under cooked. In addition the staff was rude and was more interested in their conversation about milkshakes than taking my order.

orphanedhanyou: Tip to staff: you can have a sandwich that has chips on in AND you can order a side of a bag of chips. They didn't give me the side of chips.... just highlighted the receipt next to my side of chips with a question mark. Maybe just maybe ask the person picking up the order if you have a question?This just appears to be another example of "we don't seem to care about anything". Last time I told them the pickup name and the woman checked the computer and specifically said it was still being worked on. 20 minutes later she realized it was done the whole time and sitting behind the counter. Incompetence.

Staff are friendly, food is delicious (the Edith is my go-to), and there's a whole separate vegan menu-- even vegan ice cream options! There's tables inside and outside. Nate: Amazing value for the amount of food and how delicious it was. A plethora of vegan options for sandwiches, and great options for ice cream and toppings. Highly recommend for anyone visiting lansing, especially vegans. You can easily split half a sandwich and a large ice cream between two people and be very satisfied.
Melody Teodoro-Kurtis: From the guys that brought us the Bangos Food Truck... Aharon & Will's selection of soft serve ice cream and vegan frozen confectionery are unique and wonderful. However, seeing that both owners have either originally came from or spent considerable time in Maine, Babe's Corner just unleashed their secret weapon - the simple Lobster Roll. Served either in in-house-made Split Top buns or nice Brioche buns, the star is the 5oz of luscious lobster meat mixed in very scant mayo and paired with just as scant shredded lettuce. Even having this roll once is a MUST.
Jay Burridge: I got a Betty hoagie. The half IS hefty, couldn't finish it but it was well worth the money. It was hands-down the best sandwich I've ever had. If you're in the area you NEED to get to Babe's Corner. It's honestly depressing that I don't get to eat here every meal of my life.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options!
