Amy Dennis: I came into the store with a coupon for $75 off $200. I am a petite size pant, which is not regularly carried in store. I asked the store associate prior to shopping if I would be able to order petite. I was told yes. After spending time shopping and trying on clothes, I was told I couldn’t use the coupon because the online order needed to be split with the in store purchase. I then asked if I could order everything online. I was told the jeans that I had picked out actually did not come in petite sizes and when I asked to see what jeans did, the store associate was not able to show me. Guess I won’t be buying pants from Express anymore. Used to be my store of choice. No wonder the brick and mortar stores are going out of business!
Bianca Price: I have been an A list member since 2015. A note to other greater Lansing A list member the slim manager with the glasses does not care if you spend the amount of money to become a A list member. I asked to have my coupon reapplied (the same day) after I bought pants that were see through. She told me she was the "manager" and it is against company policy to reapply coupons. These were earned coupons from purchases.On top of that she was providing lost prevention customer service.Then I went to make a return, and she was overly hovering over the wonderful customer service person who is helping me make my return, as if I was going to try again to get a coupon around reapplied.I encourage all A- List customers to stay out of that store because it's not really the place for you.I hope it was worth aliening a customer who spends money that can assist in the stores daily/monthly/yearly goal.I feel undervalued, singled out and penalized. So, all my purchases will be made online and all returns made to the store.

She helped me find exactly the look I was looking for, helped with sizes and just really made it feel like a personal experience. One thing I truly respect was the honesty, when an outfit just didn’t look right, she was up front and helped me find something better. Really helped express that confidence. Thanks Lauren.

Gave her the best description I could with the pants I have, she picked out a variety of cute tops. She also helped me with find some cute heels to match! Troy Kerby: Incredibly difficult to find anything in my size and I'm a fairly average size. So I was pleased with the selection just not size selection. Love the store though and I think I'm going to have to resort to window shopping and buying from the website.

Bob Rios: Spent $325 during my visit. One of the items zipper in the pants were slightly defective and Donovan the manager couldn't even help me at all. In fact while he was ringing me up he didn't even ask how my shopping experience was, he didn't talk to me in fact he rang me up wrong and then didnt give me my 5% discount on my Express card and when I explained to him that he should let me know what he's doing he just continue to ignore me. I can't Express myself enough do not go to that location again

Walked to the back of the store after looking at some things where the manager was too busy playing on her phone. We left after that and as we were walking out the manger yells “Can I help you find something?”. You think I wanna spend money at a store where you only greet your white customers? No thanks!

Erica Withey: We went to this store yesterday and it was filthy after you walk past the car register. There were clothes and hangers everywhere on the floors. Enough that if you didn't watch out you'd be stepping on them. I picked a few piles up while looking around in the clearance area, which there was no organization at all to. I think the sizes markers were just suggestions to the employees. Then we went back to the dressing rooms and it was the same. There were stacks of clothing just left in the dressing rooms while the two girls back there were just chit chatting about their closets at home and whatever else. The one stopped long enough to say "Just pick a dressing room" and then went back to chit chatting. When we walked out of the dressing room we area there was no interaction at all. The cashier's however, we're very polite and their area was clean and organized. I'm pretty sure it was a manger who was leaving while we were standing in line and said "Call so and so if it anything crazy happens. I'm out of here."

Shopping for school clothing this year has been trying with crop tops being in style again. Old navy has the trends, but they also have school appropriate clothing for my middle schooler. Kevin McCreary: Don't expect much from this Urban outfitters, it's very small and so is the inventory.Update: They moved to the Eastwood town center parking is now easy and the store is much nicer. Still small but it’s a small city. Glad we have an urban outfitters!

Emily Jane: Smaller sale section than at the Somerset UO, but still a decent selection. I pretty much only shop out of the sale section, on account of being broke, but I still get fun stylish clothing, and the sales are generally pretty good. It's been 50% off the sale price the last three times I went in, which hopefully doesn't end any time soon, haha.

Angela Sorrells: I've been shopping at Urban Outfitters for years beginning with their original location in downtown East Lansing.Regardless of your age, if you've adapted your own personal sense of modern/trendy style, Urban just may be a fun place to shop. We've dressed our daughter from here as well as purchased her room/apartment items as well.If you're looking for fun, cutting edge fashion with staff that doesn't follow you around and just lets you shop, check out Urban. Plus they almost always have a great sale going on. Definitely worth your time.
Rhiannon Shook: Every time I shop at this store I am sadly reminded of why I should not shop here anymore. Don't get me wrong, the clothes and accessories are super cute and I usually have a hand full of things to try on. However, for the age demographic that the merchandise is targeted towards, the prices are honestly outrageous. $45 for a tiny tank top, over $100 for jeans that are not actual denim.. I mean cmon. On top of that, the workers are never attentive or friendly in any way, they look at you as if you are a bother, they don't offer to start a dressing room or take any unwanted items, no conversations started, just judgemental looks and RBF. Sad because I used to shop here quite often. I also asked if they would take back used shopping bags since they're made of fabric material and it's extremely wasteful to throw them out (I've returned some before) and they told me that they don't do that. Highly recommend shopping at cute local boutiques instead!

Rob Ley: Tried returning two sweaters that I received after Christmas and they wouldn’t return it because it was a few days after their 30-day window. Had Covid and wasn’t able to make it in sooner. They didn’t care. Inflexible robots.

Yes it's a bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for... literally. If you've been shopping at one of those discount chain stores, come get a few really nice pieces for your wardrobe. Not gonna regret it.

Very pleased.EDIT: I'd like to add that Banana Republic's clothing is of excellent quality. I've compared their shirts and pants from the likes of Jos A Banks and even Orvis's Barbour, and everything about the Banana Republic garments is superior, from material selection to small details, like that extra button and button hole way down below your waist line so as to present a neat and continuous seam down the front. The one downside to Banana Republic is the limited fit. If you're not a slim fit, you're not going to find what you need without going to a larger size, and that doesn't look good on anybody.
Sharon Petersen: I seldom go in this store as they only have xs and s sizes. They do have good fabric, well designed clothes and good prices right now but you will always have to have them order your size online. You can seldom take a purchase home with you which is a bummer. Thank goodness the staff is professional and helpful. I think this store should stock for people to buy and take home. It would be a better shopping experience.

Christine Mason: I'm rather upset on behalf of my husband. We spent a good 1.5 hours picking 2 suits, one black for a black tie event. We were assured the black suit (which had to be ordered) would arrive in 7-10 days. When we didn't hear back, a call was made...oops, your suit is here, but somehow we missed it. Husband goes for a fitting; it's a different suit. Were told they couldn't get the correct one. How about calling us and letting us know?? He does not like this option, but we have to buy it. It's too late. Now it is supposed to be tailored and ready the day we fly out, but I don't trust them based on experience so far. Not happy at all.

John McCann: I had heard a lot about Kositchek’s before ultimately deciding to take some time and really explore the store. As soon as I walked in, David Kositchek greeted me and offered to give me a tour. I could sense the genuine care that seems nearly obsolete in the customer service/retail world, today. Soon after, Carl came over to help and answered every question I had effectively and thoroughly. Additionally, Carl was able to provide me with items I simply may have glossed over if left to my own devices. I took full advantage of the $100 coupon and purchased a Peter Millar coat and a Johnny-O 1/4 zip. Gary from Leon G jewelers was also very helpful, conversing with me and answering any questions I had with regard to watches. All in all, an absolute must for anyone in the Lansing area looking to improve their men’s wear closet and have a pleasant, genuine and authentic experience in the process. I will be back.
john lumsden: A great experience from beginning to end. I flew in for a wedding from Germany and stopped in to buy new shoes, grab a haircut and purchase few other items. Lori was amazing in assisting me to find everything I was looking for as well as provided no pressure recommendations. The service was above and beyond when Lori was able to drop off the tailored sport jacket and slacks at my nearby hotel due to a Saturday morning wedding. If you are in Lansing or passing through like me, I would highly recommend you stop in.

Ebony Jean: I visit this store often, not once am I greeted nor assisted. It takes me having to walk up to the counter in order to get someone’s attention. Each time I walk in, often do I receive stares due to having Alopecia, which is a hair loss disorder. Since having lack of hair, the associates stare at me and ignore, yet assist other customers, specifically women with hair. As an African-American woman, trying to support a Black business, this is very discriminatory and disrespectful. It takes a lot of confidence and courage for someone like me to face the public without hair. In times like these, I do my best to support Black businesses and spend my hard earned money, but this behavior is unacceptable. No longer will I support this establishment.

Bailey Underwood: Right before Christmas I was shopping for my sons Christmas shoes, found some he really liked! but I wanted to get a matching pair, the salesman told me they probably won’t last long as their exclusive so I bought my pair is well then I return to get the rest of my family pairs of the shoes, so that we can all match my soms shoes. But when I had wrapped the presents I don’t know what I use the shoebox for but I left his shoes outside on top of the presents so he would see them immediately.Well by Christmas the size I bought him was so tight that I tried to exchange them. I went to exchange them for a size up with The receipt and never once wore, you could lick the bottom of the shoes they were so clean. Jimmy jazz refused to take my exchange without the box. The employee went to the back for 10seconds and told me they cannot exchange without shoebox, I questioned him about the policy and was not pushed to a manager or nothing. I was told that “that sucks”. it is a cardboard box!! I’ve spent over $300 and all the shoes at this point just for my son to not be able to wear them because the wrong size and Jimmy Jazz refuses to exchange them without a cardboard box so nonetheless I’ve wasted over $300 in the store for absolutely nothing at this point. Tho I’m pretty sure all their items don’t arrive perfect and I’m sure many shoes boxes are damaged regularly. Not to mention this is a month later and the shoes are still available and clearly not that exclusive.I also had a return a pair of forces I bought him from Champs. I had no box and the shoes had been worn twice and they happily exchange those shoes dirty no boxes and with no receipt needless to say my business will stay in champs never go back to Jimmy Jazz again !!!!!!!

They have alot of good things in there. Citi Trends , keeps up on the latest trends. It's always fresh inventory in there. It was a clean , friendly environment and the staff was really helpful. They even do layaway. And they have snacks😜
