Paul Blur: It was a horrible experience and I will not be returning. The Manager BJ was super rude. Its a clothing store but wouldnt let any of my children try on clothing. They claimed to not have enough employees for the dresssing rooms but yet there were 5 of them standing around. BJ claimed "If she did it for me she would have to do it for eveyone" My daughter is 8 years old and couldnt understand why we had to leave and go shopping somewhere else. She was super bummed. I will not be returning to this location ever! I suggest you spend your money else where. Super rude and not worth the hassle. Will be contacting the coperate office.

Linda Chaffee - Gogarn: I went to Burlington in Lansing for a coat. No leather jackets were available, but I found a nice Michael Kors. My husband and I were treated very rudely by the cashier at checkout. She was there Tuesday, December 20th at 9 AM. I have worked in retail management for 20 years, and if you don't want to work the holidays get out of retail. She did not show me the receipt or ask me if I wanted the receipt in my purse. We're from Reno, NV spending money in your state - Be Nice!! This was on Saginaw in case the manager reads this review.

A note to other greater Lansing A list member the slim manager with the glasses does not care if you spend the amount of money to become a A list member. I asked to have my coupon reapplied (the same day) after I bought pants that were see through. She told me she was the "manager" and it is against company policy to reapply coupons. These were earned coupons from purchases.On top of that she was providing lost prevention customer service.Then I went to make a return, and she was overly hovering over the wonderful customer service person who is helping me make my return, as if I was going to try again to get a coupon around reapplied.I encourage all A- List customers to stay out of that store because it's not really the place for you.I hope it was worth aliening a customer who spends money that can assist in the stores daily/monthly/yearly goal.I feel undervalued, singled out and penalized. So, all my purchases will be made online and all returns made to the store.

In fact while he was ringing me up he didn't even ask how my shopping experience was, he didn't talk to me in fact he rang me up wrong and then didnt give me my 5% discount on my Express card and when I explained to him that he should let me know what he's doing he just continue to ignore me. I can't Express myself enough do not go to that location again

COWGIRLS Country Bar & Grill Formally Ginopolis’: Had to pickup a pair of boots that I ordered online from a different company. Arrived 15 mins prior to close. Manager, Kristen & staff were fab! Asked for their assistance with a specific jean style & fit. Directed me to recommended department. First 2 I tried fit perfectly, a first ever. Purchased an amazing tote as well. All were super sweet. Hour drive was well worth it! I’ll definitely return soon.Thank ladies!!

I left went back in today to give them another chance. No one even acknowledged me as they where to busy gossiping between each other.

Gage L: Bought a pair of Thorogood 804-4940 Moc toe boots a few weeks back. The work boot rack is a complete mess and they do not keep any stock off the floor. So after about 20 minutes I found my matching pair without a sign of any employee to help. I thought I'd give Thorogood a try as I've always gone with Red Wings. I'll definitely be going back to the Red Wing store from now on. On this pair I spent $300 and now have to spend more to take them to Charlotte Shoe Repair so they can be reworked if possible. The right boot has extra tongue material which makes it almost unbearable over 10+ hour shifts. Very poor QC that I do not care for at all being that I still spent the premium on these boots. I called the Boot Barn to see if they do repairs on boots they sell but they do not. Overpriced and they do not stand by their products. Not really a point in shopping here over any other work outfitter, unless you need bedazzled cowboy boots and hats I suppose.

We walked in - doors were not locked, clearly saw other customers shopping in the store and we were rudely told to leave because they were actually closed and we could come back tomorrow.

It took 2 weeks to get them and they were 2 different sizes!!! I returned them and ordered more and had them shipped to the store because that was supposed to be faster. That also took two more weeks and then they couldn’t even find them! I had to call them so they could look for them!! They told me they would give me money off for my trouble but when it came down to it they did nothing and made me drive 45 min to get my money back! The girl did not even say bye when we ended our call. This place is terrible and has terrible customer service!!

Came in on or about the 1st or 2nd of October, bought a pair of Cody James square toe boots, belt to match my favorite pair of old boots, new wool Cody James hat (the manager even shaped it for me so I could wear it out., socks and insoles. My feet are in love and I've never felt better. They treat you like you are a person and not a sales quota, thank ya'll at Boot Barn for coming to my hometown.

After consulting with four other men's suit stores including another Jos A Bank in Livonia, I called in these guys, and they had what we needed and had set it aside. Qwan took care of us as soon as we arrived, and Bronte proceeded to assist us with the fitting. He got my fiance measured in no time, found a pair of shoes, a belt to match, the shirt, and knew exactly what to recommend. Everything fit perfectly, and the suit was tailored within a few hours when the average expectancy is two weeks. We were blown away by the courtesy, professionalism, style, and overall stellar personalities of these guys! We bought a three piece suit, shirt, shoes and belt all in one day for less than $600 including the tailoring services. Thank you, Bronte for making our day!!! My fiancé's gonna look like a million bucks at out wedding!

A KWM: My son and I made two trips. The first trip, we were helped by a young black man, he was very friendly and accommodating. We left with a shirt and tie.Unfortunately, my sons homecoming date wanted my son to get a different color shirt and tie, so I found myself returning it shortly thereafter.I went into the store shortly after opening, there was a late 20s-early 30s looking white man standing at the front counter and speaking on the phone. I bypassed the counter and browsed the tie colors to see if they had what the date wanted. When I was done with this, another young white man came out of the back and asked if he could help me.I indicated my need to make a return and he said I would have to wait for the man on the phone. After about 5 minutes went by, this young man offered me a chair to wait. Polite, but I declined, stating I hoped it wasn’t going to take so long that I had to get a chair.So, as time goes by, I’m listening to the man on the phone. It’s clear he’s speaking to corporate and not a customer. He was trying to figure out how to change someone else’s reservation.I became increasingly irritated. As someone who works in customer service, it seems obvious to put corporate on hold while you serve the customer standing in front of you.15 minutes later, the man ended his phone call and started my return. Some of his residual irritation from the phone call bled over into our exchange, there was a lot of sighing.As if this wasn’t bad enough, I’m the middle of my return, the man stopped what he was doing and turned to have a discussion with a customer who came in AFTER me.Then he came back to work on my return, then he apologized and went back AGAIN to help the other customer.He made a comment about hoping that we have better luck next time we shop. I won’t be back. This was my first and only experience with Jos A Banks.

Christine Mason: I'm rather upset on behalf of my husband. We spent a good 1.5 hours picking 2 suits, one black for a black tie event. We were assured the black suit (which had to be ordered) would arrive in 7-10 days. When we didn't hear back, a call was made...oops, your suit is here, but somehow we missed it. Husband goes for a fitting; it's a different suit. Were told they couldn't get the correct one. How about calling us and letting us know?? He does not like this option, but we have to buy it. It's too late. Now it is supposed to be tailored and ready the day we fly out, but I don't trust them based on experience so far. Not happy at all.

As soon as I walked in, David Kositchek greeted me and offered to give me a tour. I could sense the genuine care that seems nearly obsolete in the customer service/retail world, today. Additionally, Carl was able to provide me with items I simply may have glossed over if left to my own devices. I took full advantage of the $100 coupon and purchased a Peter Millar coat and a Johnny-O 1/4 zip. Gary from Leon G jewelers was also very helpful, conversing with me and answering any questions I had with regard to watches. All in all, an absolute must for anyone in the Lansing area looking to improve their men’s wear closet and have a pleasant, genuine and authentic experience in the process. I will be back.

john lumsden: A great experience from beginning to end. I flew in for a wedding from Germany and stopped in to buy new shoes, grab a haircut and purchase few other items. Lori was amazing in assisting me to find everything I was looking for as well as provided no pressure recommendations. The service was above and beyond when Lori was able to drop off the tailored sport jacket and slacks at my nearby hotel due to a Saturday morning wedding. When I was looking for Men's Warehouse, I actually thought that they were closed, I looked for the store inside the Lansing Mall and could not find it and the reason why was; their entrance is located on the south side of the Lansing Mall. Anyway, there staff is very nice and helpful, I was there for about 45 minutes to be fitted for a semi - formal suit and I am pretty happy with the results.

We've dressed our daughter from here as well as purchased her room/apartment items as well.If you're looking for fun, cutting edge fashion with staff that doesn't follow you around and just lets you shop, check out Urban. Plus they almost always have a great sale going on. Definitely worth your time.

Rhiannon Shook: Every time I shop at this store I am sadly reminded of why I should not shop here anymore. Don't get me wrong, the clothes and accessories are super cute and I usually have a hand full of things to try on. However, for the age demographic that the merchandise is targeted towards, the prices are honestly outrageous. $45 for a tiny tank top, over $100 for jeans that are not actual denim.. I mean cmon. On top of that, the workers are never attentive or friendly in any way, they look at you as if you are a bother, they don't offer to start a dressing room or take any unwanted items, no conversations started, just judgemental looks and RBF. Sad because I used to shop here quite often. I also asked if they would take back used shopping bags since they're made of fabric material and it's extremely wasteful to throw them out (I've returned some before) and they told me that they don't do that. Highly recommend shopping at cute local boutiques instead!

Matt Mansfield: There are so many cheap clothes places around, it's nice to walk into a store that offers great quality clothes. They look better, fit better and last longer! Service is great too. Yes it's a bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for... literally. If you've been shopping at one of those discount chain stores, come get a few really nice pieces for your wardrobe. Not gonna regret it.

Very pleased.EDIT: I'd like to add that Banana Republic's clothing is of excellent quality. I've compared their shirts and pants from the likes of Jos A Banks and even Orvis's Barbour, and everything about the Banana Republic garments is superior, from material selection to small details, like that extra button and button hole way down below your waist line so as to present a neat and continuous seam down the front. The one downside to Banana Republic is the limited fit. If you're not a slim fit, you're not going to find what you need without going to a larger size, and that doesn't look good on anybody.

Sharon Petersen: I seldom go in this store as they only have xs and s sizes. They do have good fabric, well designed clothes and good prices right now but you will always have to have them order your size online. You can seldom take a purchase home with you which is a bummer. Thank goodness the staff is professional and helpful. I think this store should stock for people to buy and take home. It would be a better shopping experience.

Whether I'm looking in their clearance area or on regular price I can usually find a good deal and some great sales. The quality is wonderful and the ability to find what you want the second to none.

eddy Tompkins: I like Banana Republic probably for the same reason many people like them -- the clothing is of a good quality and there are usually some decent sale items. Sometimes the sales staff is hit or miss but during my recent visit everyone was helpful.

They came apart at the seams at the waist after my first wear. A shirt I purchased started pilling where it made contact with itself in the armpit area, also after the first wear. I don't recommend this store at all.

Brian Lehman: After one employee messed up the ring sizing, and costing me $500+ in cancellation fees from it being late and told "my order is lost, delayed and we dont know why, and waiting for pick-up"! After getting the ring it was the wrong size! Returned it reordered another one, was told i can cancel it before feb.13. On the 10th (after customer service verified) a " I only worked here for less than 3 months" (we interrupted her on her phone) employee was raising her voice to the point of being yelled at, called the supervisor over who is the one that said i could cancel it refused to with an attitude and a condescending smile as if she enjoyed NOT HONORING THE AGREEMENT, AND WHAT SHE SAID TO US and treating customers like trash! DO NOT SHOP HERE GOTO A PAWN SHOP OR THE JEWELRY STORE JUST WEST OF THE MALL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE STREET!!!

Scott Bialek: Deceptive advertising. I picked items from 5 different racks of clothing. Each rack has a sign saying " sale, up to 70% off " not a single item from these rack were on sale. At checkout I was told full price. You keep it, I won't be back. There's too much competition out there for you to spit in my hat and get away with it.
