Dr. Joseph DeWitt, DO: what do users think?
Sara Lewis: Excellent surgeon. Helped repair my son’s torn ligament in his ankle. Great bedside manner.
Rebecca Kane: Dr. DeWitt did an excellent job correcting our son's unilateral clubfoot with casting and a tenotomy. We are currently in the BNB stage and the only reason we are switching providers is due to an out of state move. Highly recommend!
Steve Kallman: We've gone to doctor Dewitt for years for our daughter. He has done numerous surgeries and procedures for her. They've all gone really well and the results have been fantastic. He always takes his time to clearly answer all of our questions and explain everything. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.
Suzanne Rojas: Dr. Dewitt did an excellent job repairing my daughter’s bone. I felt confident during her surgery that she was in great hands.
Patrick Bowyer: They made us come in 30 minutes early then made us wait more than 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room as they saw others who just showed up.
Lisa Skotchie: One of the best doctors around to help children with issues stemming from cerebral palsy. He has been my daughter's doctor for several years and has helped her tremendously! Two corrective surgeries later and she is doing so much better. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Melissa Parling: Highly recommend!
SXTH BOYS: My is Jennifer and my son Christian have been going to Dr. Dewitt for several years. We were devastated when we learned he had to have scoliosis surgery. Dr. Dewitt was very confident and walked us through the whole process. Day of surgery we were so confident and not too worried, because we knew we were in good hands. He has an Amazing team. If I had to do it again. we would in a heart beat. My son is recovering beautifully. I highly recommend Dr. Dewitt for your child's needs.
OTTOMAN SAVAGE: Great for orthopedic surgery I was worried something would go wrong nothing did he's an amazing doctor who works wonders Defently would recommend
Kathi Shipley: I saw the whopping 2 reviews on Dr Dewitt and couldn't NOT respond. Dr Dewitt is compassionate and caring. Most importantly, he is a very good and skilled surgeon. If you child needs orthopedic care, I wouldn't hesistate to recommend him.

Because of his expertise I am able to get back to doing all the activities that I love. Dr Taunt has a very organized office team and excellent surgical crew! My overall experience was exceptional and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Taunt.

East Lansing Orthopedic Association: what do users think?
Whitney Wasser: They got me in quickly without a referral for two sprained ankles. Got my x-rays, a couple of boots, and some crutches just in case. They said there were no breaks. However, there was no follow up. No guidance, just ice and elevate. Didn't say for how long, didn't recommend any PT. Just here you go! Four months later I had one ankle checked again and an MRI revealed three fractures.
Jon Lopez: Receptionist needs to stop over educating people. It came across as rude.Receptionist also incorrectly stated “we can’t accept email as it is a HIPAA violation”.Incorrect.Frustrated with this office’s lack of scheduling leniency. Boyfriend was discharged from the hospital and they basically made the appt for us, which we had to take because he needs to be seen, but now we missed work shifts. Also refused to see his daughter, involved in the same accident. This office is affiliated with Sparrow and thats scary because Sparrow is usually very goodThis office is not.
laurie wright: Arthritis surgery tendon transfers with Dr.Gregg U.hand was worse.2nd surgery reccomend to remove hardware.unsuccesful. return appt.sorry nothing else i can do.2000 dollars later no use of my hand.no guitar.no opening a bottle of water.its worse than before.now i need to find another dr.try to fix it.
Mans ahmad: My name is Mansour Ahmadpour andI had two surgeries in the last two years. A total replacement on my left knee with Dr. Kenneth Morrison and he was an excellent surgeon I had a rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder with David A. Detrisac. My only problem with his surgery was the pain which I had to suffer becuase of my right shoulder but other then that he was an excellent surgeon. I believe East Lansing Orthopedic staff are excellent.
Ardene Martin: I cant say enough good about Dr. J. Uitulugt. He did my foot surgery and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I've done everything he told me to do and the outcome is exactly what he said it would be. Decent bedside manner. I have to rein him in a little (he's busy) but he responds.Thank you for all you do (Don your PA too). A. Martin
Karri Christie: My 5 year old daughter saw Dr. Dubiel. She needed her cast removed and had to be forcibly held down as he cut her cast off.She was screaming bloody murder because he was cutting all the way through the cast and into her skin with the saw. She was cut by the blade 10 times. The cuts are 0.5 to 2.5 inches long and several are quite deep. My daughter is now terrified of doctors and I can't even sleep at night knowing I took her there.
P L: Go somewhere else! I have been so displeased w/my care & surgical outcome by Dr Gregory Uitvlugt, MD. He doesn't listen. He spends very little time with you. The orthotic person got mad at me when I reacted to him hurting my wrist when he turned it post surgery!.I wasn't given their after hours/after surgery number in my pre-surgical instruction package & went a whole weekend in agonizing pain & no way to contact them! And my wrist does not look or feel right. Even my primary doctor said I need to seek a 2nd opinion.
A C: Dr. McDermott is great! Only issue is that the blonde woman at the front desk asked for my insurance card by name (i.e. "Medicaid card" vs. "insurance card"). It was very embarrassing, as another patient was standing right next to me... Inappropriate and unprofessional.
Stacey Camp: Great doctors who care and are responsive. Great front desk staff, techs, and nurses, too.
Yoshinda Mitchell: Customer service Is So Kind And Helpful... I'm So Looking Forward To My First Visit With Them..
Leigh Woodworth: I was a little nervous going to a specialist and I didn't know what to expect, but I have to say that the people who work at East Lansing Orthopedic Association are the nicest people in the medical field I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Everyone was kind and courteous and very helpful. They were even ON TIME with my appointment! The facility is clean and very nice and the staff are all around friendly. I wish all doctor's offices were this great! I would highly recommend them!

Sparrow Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Lansing: what do users think?
Gregory Allerding: Appointment was at 3 it's after 4 still no doctor for my follow up
Josephine Kootsillas: I saw Dr. Dietzel for an ACL and Meniscus repair. He and his team did a fantastic job. I am very impressed with the small incision site on my knee and although my recovery has been slow, it has gone very smoothly.
Siyanne Sampson: Photo below is proof that I indeed have a broken ankle and is temporarily being care for by a doctor name by Jason E Maxa, P-AC and let me say this…Women and People of Color Beware***This man does not have your best interest at heart when the nurses are not around and he lacks any type of empathy when he do his examinations I’m telling you if you seek a different doctor ASAP if your in the need of proper good doctor to work on your bones.
Jacob Sowders: If you're looking for a completely unsympathetic, unempathic doctor where they will tell you you're fine, and refuse to do any further tests you've found your place. Just limp around for another month, and come back if it keeps swelling up.If you don't CARE about people anymore GET OUT OF THE MEDICAL FIELD.
Lauri Bastian: After my son had an accident we went for a follow up. I appreciated the time they took to explain what was going on. The X-ray tech. took extra time to come back in the room and tell me what a polite son I had. The doctor answered my questions, educated us on our options and both my son and I left feeling satisfied with the information we were given. *** there was a bit of a wait in the room, however, nothing more than normal when going to a specialist. Check in was quick and easy, all COVID percautions were taken. :) Thank you!!!

MSU Health Care Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation | East Lansing: what do users think?
Mary Ann Metler: No patient privacy at check in. Listened to staff ask patients to pay their balance, ask for personal information etc. Can hear staff conversations with patients on the phone.
Matthew Garrow: Been referred here 3 times for a condition that causes chronic pain and they did nothing for me and a person I the room who I didn’t know or give permission LOL at me when I was explaining embarrassing symptoms
Samantha Russo: I just had the worst new patient experience. I was 2 minutes past the grace period because they had not provided me with an address before my appointment, so I went to Sparrow hospital instead. When I found out the mix up I called immediately to let them know. I was in total 12 minutes late (from an hour drive away) and they canceled my appointment while I was still on hold with the receptionist when I got there. He stated he hadn’t heard back from the doctor… so the rude blonde woman went back and asked and said “next time don’t be late” as if I didn’t plan ahead so far that I needed my mom to ask for the time off work and leave 20 minutes early. The office manager came out and said “I was told you were 45 minutes late” and I was already hyperventilating from previous medical trauma. It was truly traumatizing as a chronic pain patient with hEDS to hear they needed to spend another two hours some other day to get the care they need. I hope the doctors see this. I was crying, yes, but it was uncontrolled due to PYLTAD and fear of doctors treating me like I don’t exist. Way to go, guys. You truly broke me today.
Mary Birdsall: I see Dr. Techmeier for MMI treatments who was referred to me by Dr Saffarian. I absolutely love both of these physicians. I give Dr.Techmeier a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and would recommend him to any one who is need of pain management. Great receptionist and they are all so kind.
