Nathan: Literally non-existent. Didn't think to call ahead but that was a mistake. No Lansing Cartridge World location. Its a lie and their employees are pathetic when it comes to customer service anyways so, wouldn't even bother giving them a try.

When I didn't hear back for about a month, I called and was told by Brian that he had left me voicemails (he had not) and that he THREW OUT my printer assuming that I had abandoned it. Cartridge World is the equivalent of a dumpster, with a bit less resolve. My intention was to keep the $200 printer and have it repaired. I was able to accomplish neither of these goals by placing my trust in Cartridge World. Unbelievable.

Carisss Lundgren: 48 hours after I purchased two cartridges I tried to return them because our printer stopped working. I returned the cartridges as they were purchased... Meaning they had their boxes they had the plastic clip as well as the blue tape that covered the ink. I was charged a 25% restocking fee because there was nothing wrong with the cartridge but that is was my printer that was the issue. He pointed out the return policy... As he was fiddling with the paper I read it. A 25% restocking fee would be charged if the cartridges were tampered with or if the chip reader needed to be replaced... I do not feel that my cartridges were tampered with or damaged in any way. I returned them to the store the way that I got them in the box after I purchased them. I used 0% of the ink. I was also frustrated that in 2018 I have to wait for a check to be mailed back to me for my return. I will not be coming back to the store nor would I ever recommend this store to anyone else. I left on Saturday very pleased... Came back on Monday and I am beyond dissatisfied.

michael atoz: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I buy 2 ink cartridge at a time you ask why one will always run for a few prints and stop working. So I will run the other one till it stops then take them back for a replacement. The old lady manager would make it right with the credit on weight of ink left. The 3rd time this happened owner told me the ink was over half used and he would give me half credit for both. Today I went back in with the same issue one I used it had half ink left the other one I use for 2 copies and It stopped and they tell me again it was half full when it should have been totally full. Lets do the math I pay full price get credit for half cost so I’m paying almost same cost as buying new. $34 total cost $17ea -50% $8.50 per ink x 2 = $17. But I should get full credit on one for $17 and half for $8.50 total credit $25.50. I walked out with the crummy half used useless ink with them keeping my refund and will never buy from them again. It shows me you need my money more then I do. YOU CAN KEEP IT! You will never get anymore from me and I hope many read this and avoid your store. I just bought a new ink cartridge at Walgreens for $25.43 I guess It’s a better deal to buy new after all you end up saving nothing and in the end spend more.

Getting so damn frustrated. The only reason I gave them more than one star is because I support refilling ink cartridges instead of waste fully buying more.

Sara Hudgens: Amanda and Rachel in the print center are absolute angels! They were a joy to work with and went above and beyond to help print items for my wedding. We had another Staples center in Novi that told us it would be 3-5 business days and they needed to ship it out to a business center. This store got it done for us in a matter of hours!
Daniel Smith: Just needed 9 pages printed. The lady who was not busy directed me to the self serve a common practice. However it wants a $5 hold for 9 B/W prints that is less than a $1.50. I again asked the employee for help and she was too uninterested in taking 2 minutes to print my 9 pages. I was so frustrated I left and went down to FedEx Print and had it done in half the time it took Staples to explain how to send the document to self serveGo elsewhere

jillykz: My apologies for this long overdue review. Last year I went through a stressful time with my broken HP laptop. My warranty required that I send my laptop out to California for repair. The Tech Dept Staff helped me get it packaged up and sent out but when it returned, only a portion of the problem came back fixed. I have a small business and I use my laptop daily. Seeing how stressful the situation was for me, Phil and his Tech Dept Staff took care of me until my problem was fully resolved. Then just recently I had to go back into Staples again due to a problem with my printer. Again Phil and his Tech Staff took wonderful care of me. They looked up my warranty information, sent off my old printer, and I had a new printer in my hands the very next day. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful Tech Team at this store. They're an amazing bunch and they've been real life savers for me.

Autumn Harris: In case you're planning to order brochures or other marketing documents from here, don't!1. The paper quality alone is very poor. Super thin, generic printer paper, with no option to upgrade on the online ordering system.2. Their online proofing system will show a document that is printed edge to edge. However your physical prints from the store will have a thick white edge all around it. - This is not noted anywhere on their ordering website, nor is there an option to opt for online printing to avoid this - contrary to what the employee tried to gaslight me into believing.3. I was very unhappy with the white border on all of the brochures that I ordered. And when I asked the employee why this happened she said, "my printers are incapable of printing all the way to the edge of the document. If you wanted the brochure printed like that you needed to order an actual brochure. (as if I had incorrectly ordered the wrong item - I specifically ordered Tri-Fold Brochures - so I don't know why she said it like that) And you'd need to select the option to have them printed without the white crop, online, and have them mailed to you." This lead me to believe that I had missed a step. So I immediately hopped on my computer and walked through the order process start to finish to see if she was correct. Nope, there's no such option. She's either grossly misinformed about how their online ordering system works, or she just wanted to gaslight the heck out of me to make me feel responsible for their poor quality.If your quality is bad or you're terribly misinformed about the ordering process, just admit that. But don't gaslight your customers into thinking it was user order error, what a horrible method of customer service! Do yourself a favor and order your marketing documents somewhere else.*images attached, 1st image: A screen shot of the proof that is provided when you've finalized your online order. Notice how both pages appear that they will be printed all the way to the edge. 2nd image: The garbage brochure that was given to me with a thick white border all the way around the entire document.
Claire Bode: Staples… THIS Staples in particular… is my favorite place in Lansing. Seriously. My son and I go here to cruise the aisles and get advice from the very helpful and friendly staff. We shop here for everything paper/pen and pencil/computer related. I bought a Staples office chair from here that I love. And a label printer, and school supplies every year for 12 years, and laptops. The staff, Chris in particular, go out of their way to point out less expensive alternatives or to help you find that particular item you need. A visit here always brightens my day. I want my ashes scattered outside the front door. That’s how much I love this Staples.

The SPS Edge: It was a great relief to go into the store on two different days and get received with the same courtesy and professionalism from the staff I worked with. Most recently, I needed a vga/hdmi adapter & purchased one. It didn't work so I brought it back. The store manager (or assistant manager) knew right away what needed to be done to fix my problem. BAM! He removed some hardware from my old cord, the adapter worked, & I was on my way. He went out of his way to help. He could have easily told me what needed to be done & left me there to figure things out. Thank you for going the extra mile!

Gabriel Cabrera: Brian Tallon was the sales rep. I spoke with. He had given me an initial quote and was double the price on the invoice provided. When asked, he states that he would never give that quote and it is a non-refundable order. Beware.
Someone In MI: I gave the owner, Brian, over $100 upfront for a repair he didn’t do, and he refused to give me my money back. He, his family and business consultants also wrote at least half of the 5-star reviews here as of today, too. This place is terrible, be warned! I brought my printer to be fixed. I gave him over $100 upfront, in good faith, towards the part and repair. Then I never heard from him again. I finally called to see what was going on a couple weeks later, at which point he told me that he couldn’t and wouldn’t try to do the repair. (I had already paid him separately to diagnose it.) I was busy, but I went a couple times to try to pick it up. Whenever I went, the store was closed. No hours are posted on the door, either. So I finally made it today to pick up my printer. The owner looked at me with a bit of fear and stress in his face, and told me that instead of giving me store credit(!), he would give me two ink cartridges. I said, I don’t want ink cartridges, I would like a refund! He said that it had been too long, so that he would not give me a refund. I told him that he had never informed me when I should pick my printer up either verbally or in writing. I also said that he never even posted his hours on the door. Yes, it took me a while to pick this up, but not that long. This is fraud. I gave him money upfront for *parts never delivered and services never rendered*. That was clearly a mistake on my part. I said, you know, I could take you to small claims court. He replied, go ahead! I suspect he might have a number of judgments against him. I accepted two ink cartridges from him because I knew I would never see anything else from him. Instead of gaining a customer and referrals, he just lost one. As I said to him, he won this battle, but at the cost of a customer and a bad Google review. This is not how to build a business. I understand that the pandemic has been very hard on people financially, but essentially forcing your customers to buy ink cartridges they don’t want to buy is a terrible business practice. The owner is eating his seed corn to pay his family’s bills each month. I will never go back there again, and if anyone ever asks me to recommend a place for ink cartridges or printer repair, I will be sure to advise them never to go there either. From reading other peoples’ reviews, I suspect that some portion of the ink cartridges he sells are dry or nearly so, and you should not count on getting a refund ever for anything, or even getting the products you paid for. I don’t think his business is going to last very long at this rate. It looks like they also previously had a Cartridge World business in Lansing, and that business had similar problems, too. Oh, and 4 of the 5-star reviews here as of today are actually by the owners, Brian Tallon and Lina Tallon, and a relative, Alyssa Tallon. Lina and Alyssa Talon also wrote 3 of the 7 total 5-star reviews of their Lansing store, which closed with a final rating of 2.9 stars. I have to wonder whether some of the other 5-star reviews are fake. “Mark Smith” has only written two reviews, for Cartridge World in Okemos and in Lansing. He has only contributed one picture, and that is of Cartridge World in Lansing. There are also 3 5-star reviews by de Guzman and probably a relative; he has a media consulting business, not a print shop, so I bet those and possibly others were paid for. Be warned.
Tracey Pickard: My elderly mother purchased new hp ink cartridges from this location. When she got home, opened them and tried using them they didn't work. She returned to the store where the cartridges were then weighed and the owner told her they were empty. When she requested a refund since the cartridges were purchased at their store they said they could do anything because it was hp that made the mistake. They then tried to convince my mother to buy one of the refurbished printers they sell in the store telling. Very disappointed in this fraudulent dealing, especially with an elderly woman. We will never return to this store.

Carla Oconnell: I had used Cartridge World when they were on the west side several times and they were pretty good. Since they moved to Okemos, I had my cartridges refilled once and it went fine. This last time I rode all the way out there to get only 2 of the cartridges I pre-paid for and was told about 5 times the other 2 would be dropped off. But this never happened. It would have been nice if he would have least offered to refund the money I paid! I just ordered from Best Buy!
Nathan: Horrible customer service. Couldn't even get answers to simple questions like their hours, or why the official Cartridge World website says there is a Lansing location when there isn't. Guy on the phone was of zero help and didn't even TRY to answer my questions. Frustrating and was really hoping to give your company a try, after the horrible reviews I read, the wasted trip, and that phone conversation? I'm not even gonna give it a try.

Christine M: @Gail Wolfe Dr. Wolfe, I'm sure you remember me from the time I was the manager there just over a year ago. Yes, you probably got sub-par ink. Brian and Lina often purchased generic ink that they were able to get cheaper from various online vendors instead of purchasing the ink that was approved by Cartridge World Corporate for their franchisees to use because it saved them money. This was one of the points of contention during my time there, as I often was the one who had to handle the issue when the cartridges failed over and over (as you know from our many discussions back then.) I can't speak to what is currently being purchased and sold, but your story is the same as so many stories I heard from the customers that came in. Please be assured that the employees are doing their best, but can only work with what they are provided. I wish the Talon's and their employees the best of luck as they attempt to correct this issue and offer a better quality product to their clientele. Cartridge World, as a whole, is an excellent company and in my 16 years of doing business with them, this was the only bad experience I had, so we have no problem patronizing other CW locations outside the Lansing metro.
Gail Wolfe: If I could give zero stars, I would. Cartridge World's ink destroyed my printer. My IT person checked it out and said the printhead was clogged, and it is a non-replaceable part. Cartridge World looked at the printer and also said it couldn't be fixed. When I started purchasing ink cartridges from Cartridge World, the owner at the time promised me a replacement printer if ever their ink caused a problem with a printer. The current owner refuses to honor that promise. When I told someone at Cartridge World that my printer was ruined, she said she had a printer I could have. Then the owner said that she would not replace my printer. She offered nothing to compensate me for my loss. Don't take a chance with their recycled ink cartridges!

SugarGeekDraws: Me and a friend walked in and witnessed a terrible verbal assault of a customer onto one of your employees, Andrew, but he handled it incredibly well. Apparently the man wanted something printed that they couldn’t do, idk who his coworker was but it seemed Andrew stepped in to try and deescalate and the man continued to get in his face and be a problem. We waited to make sure this grown man didn’t attempt to physically hurt this teenager but thankfully he left. Andrew was very kind and respectful and deserves a raise, but also I think Home Debot should work on making sure more managers are available on the floor to properly handle situations such as this when they arise.

Unfortunately there was a customer that wanted to argue with the poor teenager, the man needed something printed and it wasn't possible for them to print it off in such short notice and the ADULT MAN started yelling and screaming at this teenager who was working at the Office Depot. Let me just say that boy handled the argument much better than I would have!! He was very calm and upkept a professional attitude along with great customer service and was able to defuse the problem until the man left. He then apologized for the man's behavior. He definitely gave me a lot of hope for the upcoming generation and definitely deserves a day to relax after that.

Jon V: Don't trust the online "in stock" information. It said the printer I was looking for was in stock at this store. It also said 20 minute pickup was available. I drove across town and sure enough, they don't have it. Calling the store provides no option to actually talk to somebody to check the stock on an item. Terrible shopping experience in 2023.

Capitol City Unprofessionals: First, the urgent care in frandor called in our scripts at 6pm. At 6:50, we were told they didn't have them and that they were busy and to return at 9pm (found out later that's when they close). We called at 7:30, they still say they don't have them. So we call the urgent Care and the urgent Care says we will call them and get it straightened out. At 8:40 we call the pharmacy again and they say they have the prescriptions ready so we go to pick them up. Now, they say they can't fill them without my husband's McLaren Medicaid Group number. His insurance card only has his insurance ID information on the front. My daughter, who also has McLaren Medicaid, just got her prescriptions filled there last month when she had strep throat and we did not provide a group number, nor was I asked to. As I'm frantically trying to find a card with the group number on it, this lady is like, look, we close in 3 minutes. It's $40 cash. So we have to leave, because we didn't bring money with us, his insurance covers it. This is probably the worst experience that I've ever had, I really feel like she just wanted him to pay for it. They didn't even want to fill it in the first place. Clearly if I could get my daughter's prescription filled here with her Medicaid numbers only, I could do the same for him but they didn't care. And now my husband has to wait even longer to start his treatment, and be miserable all night.

I mean how can my wife's insurance card be used to fill my wife's prescription and then be told that my card doesn't work for my script. It's the same card!!!🤔 They went to use my debit card that was on and has been on file. I was told that card didn't work. They read me back the card numbers. I gave them the debit card that corresponded with the numbers they read back to me and of course the sale went through. No apology! No kind of customer service. I was as polite as one could be, lol Im not Karen! This place is ridiculous. I had the script sent to Costco and had it filled with the same insurance card within the hour.

Grace Wardin: This Walgreens has a terrible pharmacy staff in terms of customer service. I signed up for a Covid test through their online scheduling website. I submitted all of the forms and received a confirmation email stating the time and date of my test, along with instructions to “bring all insurance cards with you.” I then called the pharmacy to inquire about insurance copays or if all tests are free, and the woman who answered asked me if I’d entered my insurance information on the forms. I said no, I did not see anything that asked for that and asked if I could give it to her over the phone. She said at least three times that “nobody else has ever had this problem” (as if that statement helps in any way) and that I’d need to cancel and reschedule my appointment. The statement she used is one that nobody working with customers should ever say, unless you’re trying to belittle and make them feel at fault for asking a simple question. It seems like this would be common sense. I was offended at first, but now I’m just very disappointed in this staff member; apparently this particular store does not train on the basics of customer service do’s and dont’s. I rarely ever leave reviews, but I will not be visiting this Walgreens store or pharmacy again.
Cindy J: Constant issues and mistakes with this Walgreen's. Perhaps 1 in 5 prescriptions filled correctly. Deluged with text messages telling me to come and pick up meds or they will be put back even when I HAVEN'T asked for a refill. Meds not in stock, meds not carried, wrong meds, no coordination with insurance, slow, rude and generally incompetent. Finding a decent pharmacy in Ingham County seems unlikely.
Kristen Sobolak: Kaitlyn at the pharmacy was so helpful! I had issues with my insurance changing, she listened to my problem and was knowledgable with getting me a solution. I didn't catch the pharmacist's name but he was great with getting me a solution as well! I came in unsure and upset, but left happier than I could have.
