Arlene Ballard: CAUTION: They have a new division called Odd Jobs that are involved in smaller projects. First of all, you pay $99 for an estimate. Once they viewed the project, they called and said the cost would be between $3800 - $4000. I asked for something in writing and they said they do not offer anything in writing. I reluctantly agreed to give the go ahead after Bronx said it would be very unlikely go over the lower figure. He said the company felt going with estimates is the most fair way for all concerned. Part of the project was doing electrical work so they had two different companies look at the project. About two weeks later, Bronx called back. He first said the estimate from the electric company was $1300 and they require half down. I was okay with that but then Bronx told me that Odd Jobs would require the entire amount paid to them and then informed me that they tack on 20% to the $1300 and I would have to pay the $1600 to them before the project started. I asked why I would have to pay them the total amount and the electric company required half down. Bronx did not have an answer for that. I then told Bronx I'd like in writing the verbal estimate of $3800-$4000 and he then told me he couldn't supply anything in writing. Definitely a huge RED ALERT!!!!

Heather Rawat: We knew we needed to replace our wood deck. Our sales contact was Brian. He helped walk us through what to expect and identify three options. Mark was our project manager. He helped me select colors and the deck design right for our home. Bronx was on-site installing the new deck. Communication was great from beginning to end. Not a lot of moving parts for a deck install but I would use Odd Fellows again for other projects.
