Secretary of State office: what do users think?
Jean Neil: Easy to renew registration and drivers license
Michelle Robinson: I normally go to the St. John’s branch but the branch on Michigan Ave is very close to where I work so I decided to set an appt time at that branch. I was very pleased when I walked in and was greeted politely in a very clean branch, instructed what to do, and it was only a very short time until I saw an associate. I had what I considered a complicated issue that has stressed me out for several years. It dealt with putting a watercraft and trailer in my name, which I was awarded through my divorce. Because my ex husband refused to sign it over to me and maliciously took all identifying marks from the trailer I was afraid I could never use this or sell it. However, between Marissa and Melissa they saved the day and sent me away with the biggest smile as they were able to resolve the situation with the paperwork I had brought. I walked out of there with the watercraft and trailer in MY name a pep in my step and a smile on my face instead of the tears and continued aggravation I expected! I can’t thank those girls enough! Fabulous job!!! 😄😄😄
Cody Paseka: Got there 1 hour early, 3rd person in line couldn't be seen for over an hour, left without getting anything done. Frustrating, unorganized.
Tanya Tripp: Gave me wrong information to sos in Mason Mi need to update.
Christopher Robinson: I'd like to thank Ken of the East lansing branch for being a generous kind individual to me he truly a gift to the secretary of state.
Trinity Test: It faster than it used to be. If you are just updating your tags, use the kiosk.
Robert Crummel: Easy in , easy out. Quick service
June Miller: Greeted at the -HUGE Plus!! If one didn't know the answer, they found someone who did. Felt Valued and Appreciated. Great Customer Service.
Carey: Very satisfied with the services I was provided with!!!
Pat Eisele: It was really easy. The person that helped me was excellent.
Crystal Barrett: Marissa was amazing she went above and beyond for Us! We definitely weren't prepared for a title transfer and she was beyond helpful and patient so that way it was done quickly and efficiently! Marissa is a Very Large Asset to Your Comapany!!!
Jeffrey Tello: Had a best in class experience with Kelsie that resolved all our issues! She was awesome!
Denise Zeemer: Kiosk was down 👎that is a 1 star. And it's operated by a 3rd party so...Even without an appointment, they got me in and got my tabs within 30 mins. Worked through the line of people and all was good! Great service, and I can't wait to use my park pass for 2023 🙂
leonard barlow: Susanna was an delight. Was courteous helpful
Isaac Martin: Have been here twice in the past 6 months since moving to MSU. The most recent time I was thoroughly impressed by the speed with which everyone in front of me was helped. I got in line with 8 people ahead of me and only waited for ten minutes at the most. The staff are competant and courteous. I was very happy with my visit.
DougLife: Make an appointment and it's fast and easy. Good people.
Frank Towghi: Welcome to the age of uncivilized, it is to bad there is no zero star option.
Jacob Flees: My wife and I had to travel 250+ miles just to get a document apostilled as this was the closest place Michigan offers to us. That in it of itself is ridiculous. Staff was fairly friendly like any other Secretary of State i've been to. We were able to get in and out pretty fast each time we were there which was nice. 6 hours of driving round trip for a 10-minute appointment and had to do it twice!
Debra Kipper: Real nice and friendly people
Asma Zarin: Always perfect...very helpful and organized
Aaron R.: Making an appointment makes the process incredibly smooth. There's room for improvement, but on the whole... I was expecting a kick in the nuts of the day and walked away with little more than the irritation of a chore with 0 unnecessary complications. Which is high praise, considering we're talking governmental bureaucracy

Secretary of State office: what do users think?
Alzada Daniels: Very efficient service. Was in and out in less than an hour. Representative was able to accommodate my needs.
James HOWLETT: Great Customer service, I went to get a permanent Parking placard and a disability plate , being a walk up, I was selected to receive it after a thirty minute time , Thank you for your accommodation. Much appreciated. 🙂
Jake Gieras: Schedule an appointment showed up at my schedule time. They were running over a half hour late. Once I got up to the counter, I was told that they could not pull up my confirmation or my appointment, and basically told me to pound sand. I was basically spoken to as if I never even scheduled my appointment and I was a liar not appreciated, even had to go out to my driveway to get my Vin number off the vehicle for my appointment setup. I had a manager who literally was telling me She was not logged into the computer yet and simultaneously telling me my confirmation code was not valid.
bernie kilmartin: Worse experience ever. Made appointment for 11:10am. Finally at 12:00 I got in line only to be told they couldn't print a new title for car,I lost it and trying to sell car. I guess I will need to figure out what my next step we be. Michigan should be ashamed.
Chad Lee: Quick and easy
Carletta Thomas: The girl at the door was amazing 🤩
John Newland: Nice efficient service and friendly staff.
Jeremy B: Lady by the door kind of had an attitude while sitting with her feet up on her phone other than that got in and out pretty quick
Erica Weber: We used this office today to get a state ID for our child who has severe disabilities. The ladies at this office could not have been more helpful, accommodating, and kind! It went so much better than we anticipated. We are so grateful and will use this specific location for all of our business moving forward.
Jim Dun: Not worth it... had 1130 appt.. didnt leave till 1230.. worthless...
Blaine D: Since they allowed appointments and the kiosk at the entrance it has made the SOS experience so much better.
Brooklynne Tett-Davis: This is solely a review for one person! Alex is amazing, caring, funny, and informational! So helpful I was dreading coming in until he took care of me. I left with a smile and tasks completed. I would say every time I’ve been in the check in people have noticeably had significant attitudes and are not very polite towards others. I understand it’s hard to deal with people, but just be professional.
Casandra Cole: Michelle was so patient with me while I fumbled through the online insurance to get my new plate and even tried to help me navigate the state farm website. Much appreciated.
Yami: Amazing people there and they're so nice.
Lupe Castillo: Great, I am glad they brought back the electronic machines, so much better less time sitting in crowds.
chip hornburg: Nice to have kiosk open 24/7
Nexu: I liked it!
Darin Willson: Quick and efficient
Dawn K.: In and out within 10 minutes without having an appointment.
chawn Crockett: Was Fast
Jair Johnson: Fast and easy. Smaller office, but they're light on their feet

Michigan International Registration: what do users think?
Rolind Nikprelaj: Very helpful and professional
Rick Austin: WORTHLESS GOVERMENT WORKERS
Laziza Sobirova: We have emailed our documents that they asked for, no response until a month later when we got a hold of them and turns out they didn't even open it. It's really unprofessional that they wasted all that time, people like us depend on the work to be completed as soon as possible but they don't respect our time.
steve sanker: Closed their in person offices and went online only, then are running a month behind processing online documents and don't care if parking your equipment for a month puts you out of business.
Chris Helms: Sarah always does such a great job whenever we call and is pleasant and helpful. Great to see an agency have such gifted people. Thank you for all your help!
Rasheed M: I have been dealing with the Michigan IRP for the past 6 years and they are very professional. Some people might think they're trying to make it hard on them, but I think that they are just going by the book. I really appreciate the hard work they do and a special thank you to Sarah.
Mohamed Aldalaly: Everytime they ask you lease agreements and we still in same company and same dot so I send that via e mail and submit vie account but they said they did not receiveed it any how they were professional but now they has be played game or they lose experience in this job I hope the make solution for this problem ASAP because we are trying for this trade
Richard Burgtorf: I have always had issues there most of the time it's due to the lease agreement they keep asking for it I keep giving it to them that and I have never had the web site work to be able to renew online it always times out before they receive the requested documents
Hamza Gobah: Worst places ever. You have to come three to four times and every time they find a new excuse
GP Kaur: I’m been dealing with IRP about 10 years . Always been helpful . But today the attendant a young girl who took the application was kind and of rude didn’t see smile on her face at all . Seems like she don’t like her job . But other then that everything was ok .
Timur Azizkhanov: 👎👎👎👎
faiz asso: The most helpful staff ever hard working employees thank them always
Steve B: Nice enough people that seem to be trying hard, but they are working with a 1960's process. It took 2.5 hours to process an application in person. First, having to physically be there is ridiculous. How does it work if I live in Escanaba? Second, most of the information you are required to bring with you, the SOS office or State already have: Vehicle Title, proof of insurance, articles of incorporation, business address, etc. With a little programming, this could be a 15 minute online process.
Me Me: I have dealt with the employees of the IRP unit for 13 years and have never been treated poorly, in fact, they have always been very professional and eager to help me with any questions.
Ashraf Najib: I was scared after reading all the negative reviews,,Don’t believe that, the most helpful , nice staff so far..Registering my first semi truck (wish me luck) lol
Blazing ma: Unprofessional, and rude employees who are lazy.
Sarah Smith: I called to find out if a lien was added because I never received anything back from MI. I sent this in to them 12/9. I waited on hold for 20 minutes when a rude woman answered with an attitude. She said that not only was their entire system was down but that I also could not get a direct line to call back or a supervisor. She would not give me an email and I told me I would have to wait my turn, I stated that I did wait my turn for 20 minutes on hold. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she flatly said yes. She put me on hold for 30 seconds, picked up the phone and HUNG UP ON ME. From what I can tell, this is not an office that employs professional, helpful, or kind employees!!! I would give 0 stars if I could.
Mohamad Mahmud: Great service
