Jennifer Grant: Why is everyone complaining? This is a place for people with bad credit. Every single car is a auction repo. What do you expect? I got my plates after 1 week not months. It took my daughter a couple of months but it was in the thick of covid and Secretary of State was the problem not RPM. If your expecting a like new car then go to a car dealer and buy anew one, but you'll get screwed by them also. I went to their competition and bought 2009 car from them. Now they were rude and I had to pay $12,000 for that hunk of junk. They even told me that they replaced my engine and they didn't. It broke down a month later. I've had no problems with RPM and neither has anyone else that I've known to have bought cars from them. Quit complaining.

Andrew Feldpausch: Mike helped me in buying a 2006 Buick Lucerne from them. Engine, body, interior, and tires were in great condition. Typical suspension/steering parts needed replacement due to rust/age but would expect that of a 14yr old car. Bought it at a fair market price for the above conditions. Would highly recommend you check them out!The only suggestion would be that they fill the gas tank before the customer leaves the lot with their new car. It's a simple gesture other dealers have done for me but it really does leave a lasting impression and a feeling of completeness to the purchase if you have the time to do it. Tank was at ≈1/8 so someone didn't take it too far for a test drive.

Since then, I have had it in the shop on 5 different occasions to have items repaired that THEY KNEW was wrong with it when they took it in. The service department where I am taking it to be repaired said they should have NEVER sold this vehicle in the condition it was in. I have had to put almost $4000.00 into a $6000.00 SUV!! They messed with the wrong person because I am not only after their license but I am working with GM regarding this as well. And this "so called" warranty that you buy isn't work the toilet paper it is written on! It has covered NOTHING of the issues that I have had and that is BS! NEVER AGAIN!!

First, every car I drove had something wrong that they "didn't even know about." I feel as though they took advantage as my mom and I as women, in desperate need of a car, because I told them that something felt off about the car I test drove and ended up buying but they assured me it was "just because it's a smaller car, you can hear and feel more cause the engines right there" anyways, I was on my way out of Lansing and my engine light came on. Went and had it read once I was in GR and SIX transmission codes came up. Called them and chewed them out, they told me they'd fix but I had to take it to Lansing radiator. The man there told me I had to go to Lansing transmission. They told me the same code and had to set up an appointment to fix it, never called me. Never heard back from the dealership. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. In the end, it was my fault for not being able to follow up and fix it in time or file Lemon Law, but thr public needs to know how awful they are as a dealership.

amanda orlowski: Since I bought my car at Lansing Auto Connection the following repairs had to start being made a week after I bought my 2009 Dodge journey. New throttle body, new starter, new transmission, new heater core, it was sold to me with the wrong lugnuts on it so a tire snapped off while I was driving. In total, about $10,000 has been put into a $7,000 car. I was told that my car wasn't even road safe when I bought it, although the staff at Lansing Auto connection assured me it was a quality car. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, unless you want to be royally screwed over.

Sheena: Here was my experience at Cutting Edge Automotive:I test drove a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze from this dealership at 70,000 miles, for $7,600. Josh was very helpful and friendly in the buying process. I noted an issue with the car during the test drive (seat belt malfunction) and he knocked off $200. The car had brand new tires, a recent synthetic oil change, and a clean title. After transfers fees and taxes were applied the total purchase price was $7,800+.The car drove great for 11 months (89,500 miles) with regular maintenance. However, there were other underlying issues with the car that I was not made aware of until 3-4 months into driving the car. The car horn and alarm system did not work. The HVAC control system (A/C functions) did not work properly. I bought the car in April and didn't realize this issue until summer months approached and I had to drive in a hot car. In February and April of 2020, I was impacted twice and noticed that the airbags did not deploy in either accident. Nonetheless, even with two accidents the car still drives without major malfunctions. I waited a year to give this dealership a review, as I wanted to test the merit and quality of my purchased car beforehand. Overall, the customer service was great, yet every issue was not brought to light before the purchase. I'm not sure if Josh was actually aware of these problems prior to. This was my first car purchase so I think that that was my mistake as an eager buyer. Other related issues included lack of car warranty as well as a 3-5 day wait for title transfer. Overall, my first car purchase experience was decent.To anyone looking to purchase here, be sure that you do a thorough inspection, especially on cars with no warranty. Christy Mayo: I would NOT recommend going here to buy a car. My husband and I drove from Grand Rapids to check out a car. After we decided to purchase the car, they needed to fix a few things and I needed to finalize financing with my credit union. Marti OFFERED to have the car delivered to us in Grand Rapids, and we were thrilled that we wouldn't have to drive back to pick it up. When the car was done having the few items fixed, she "couldn't find any drivers" to deliver the car even though I told her they could come any day. She finally admitted that we would have to come get it- why even offer delivery if you can't actually deliver? Once we got the car, I took it to my local trusted mechanic and it needed $800 in repairs. I emailed her to see if they would do the right thing and reimburse me for any part of it, and I didn't receive a response. I would never buy here again.

Destiny Journey: We bought a car from them 9/23/22. Before we even left the parking lot it was acting funny we took it around back, they did something that only fixed the problem until we got back home. It wouldn’t start back up and when it did we took it Straight to auto zone to be read. They gave us a list of problems and said the dashboard was rest but because there was electrical problems They couldn’t clear it for long because the electrical problems made the dash unrest basically. We told rpm what autozone said they shot them down saying they were lying but funny how since then our car has been at “rpm getting worked on” . I don’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! They said they heard so much about right way but they are right way jr if not the leader of lemons… if u get a car that’s messed up fill lemon law before your 30days because they will give u the run around. They screaming about papers we signed and agreed to but they feed you papers saying “ this talks about this sign here here and here” and be shoving another paper in your face before you can even sign the first paper…. They know exactly how to get ahold of your life. the words on the paper about 2cm big and they say What it says and go to the next paper… we dropped 1200 on a car and don’t even have it and they still want there payments.

RPM offers another solution, they will be grateful and understanding and work with you to get you into a car. If you have trouble making your payments call them and let them know you will be a couple days late. You have to be ignoring their calls and/or you broke your payment promise for them to take your car if you don't pay.

Brandi Rowan: Very dissatisfied. I test drove a van from them, it ran out of gas 3 blocks from the dealership. We were in a rush to get a big enough vehicle for us and our 5 children. Literally had hours to get into a vehicle, we explained our situation with the dealer and was assured they would get us in a reliable vehicle. We picked up our van a d drove it home 15 minute from point A to point B and the radiator blew a hole. They supposedly changed the radiato. We go to pick up and its steadily draining coolant on the dealership parking lot. They then sent it out to have the water pump changed, picked it up again and it stalled out 10 minutes later we took it back and it threw 2 transmission codes so sent it in for a new transmission or rebuild rather, picked it up 3 days ago and its radiator hoses are blown again. It's under a 12 month 12k mile warranty but who knows if my vehicle can be fixed even! So angry!! DO NOT GO BERE, I REPEAT, DO NOT FO HERE!!

Leah Bellomy: I bought a car for my 16 year old. Was lied to about it being wrecked. Got a salvaged title 5 months after I got the car. Was lied to multiple times. Caster and chamber is broken due to it being wrecked and they put a bigger tire size on front passenger side too offset caster and chamber problem. Mechanic in their shop even admitted it should have been looked over better at auction before they bought it. Took in to get repaired and their shop broke hood and is now off centered. They refuse to fix it or make it right. They have had the car 3 weeks would have put a -5 star but can't.

Brittnie Kennedy: If it is possible to rate them a 0/5 i would. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. This place is a sorry excuse of a dealership, all they do is rip people off and lie all the time. Bought a car and have had nothing but trouble with it, took it in to get fixed and they broke more and did not even fix WHAT THEY BROKE or what i paid for. Jared told me he would make it right and after we towed our car up there then he told me they can’t do anything about it. Not to mention they like forging your signature on papers to cover them up.

Elijah Casnave: Dealer said they had to ride in the back of the car with us, which seemed very odd given we gave our ID. also codes were erased on car and they didnt mention that, we brought our own code reader that can erased codes and picked up 3 codes, so we decided not to get the car or return to the establishment again. Also believe they tell you people are trying to finance for the car you’re looking at to make you feel rushed to purchase, when more than likely there probably isn’t. Wouldn’t recommend unless they really have a car you want and you have a code reader that can pick up deleted codes to check it out yourself. Pretty nice people but sketchy vibes

Amber Richardson: I waited awhile to give an honest review. I should have gone with my gut reading the negative reviews, I was sold a van that had screws holding the battery connectors in. A bad wheel bearing and now I am having to replace the A/C compressor. I was assured the two year warranty I could get my car repaired for just a $100 premium. Not one mechanic I have talked to will accept said warranty. I've had to pay completely out of pocket for everything. Yes I know it's a used car, but it's the fact I had my three young children with me and was told I could get it fixed if anything has gone wrong with it and that it was a reliable vehicle. Do not trust their cars!

C Grace: ***BUYER BEWARE***Sure wish I would have looked at these reviews before we ventured out and bought a car from this dealership. As the other reviews state, this dealer is not reputable. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. We purchased a car that we were told they didn't know what was wrong with it, "could be a bearing or something." The car ran great so we figured it was something that could be fixed with not too much expense. Turns out it is the transmission and it is estimated to cost $8,000. I see from the other reviews that they have a mechanic but he must not know much if he can't diagnose a bad transmission.We called within a few days to try to get our money back and were promptly told "No." So if you think you're getting a deal, think again! You're getting a piece of junk!

Maranda Konwerski: Worst experience I've ever in my life had with a car dealership. My husband and I bought a 2013 Impala. Everything seemed okay until the next day when the check engine light came on. My husband took it to auto zone and had it scanned. It came back transmission related so we went back up to LAF and they wouldn't even talk to him about it. They said "you have a warranty, sorry!" So my husband took it to A and J transmission and they checked it out and filed a claim with the warranty company. The warranty company denied the claim and said that right before we bought the car, someone filed a claim for the same reason on our car... but the problem was never fixed and the code had been cleared from the computer, which is against the law. I went back up there OBVIOUSLY upset and Joe refused to help me because I was being loud, refused to even try to help. Denny actually came inside and got some information from me an at least offered to look into it. Come Monday if they can't resolve this issue, I will be making a complaint with BBB and speaking with an attorney... don't go here. Leon is crooked and his lil buddy Joe is just as bad. God bless Denny tho, we have no bad things to say about himI posted the above review on google about a month ago. I called the warranty company myself and making Leon aware that I knew the truth, he agreed to cover half of the repair fees and his warranty rep agreed to make a "good faith" payment to cover the other half. A day later he called my husband to tell him he wishes he never gave him the check after reading my review and asked him to tell me to take it down. My husband was afraid Leon would call his warranty rep and revoke his good faith payment and stop the check he gave my husband to cover the rest of the repair costs... so i took it down... the cars fixed after going through all that headache... if Leons intent was to make it right and he didnt want any hard feelings or trouble, he would have not given us trouble in the first place...seems guilty to me🤷🏻‍♀️

Jami Hester: Only giving one star because 0 stars was not an option. The day we bought the car we noticed under the disposable floor mats the floor was all wet. Joe reassured us the window was down and that is why. The car actually leaks all over including the ceiling light…the floor in constantly wet. About 6 weeks after our purchase the radiator blows..This dealership told us over and over that the car was good and they wouldn’t sell it to us if they wouldn’t trust it w their own family. They actually asked me to leave a good review and I can’t. I’m so disappointed in LAF AUTOMOTIVE GROUP IN LANSING, MI. Would NEVER go back or recommend.
