mag griff: Starbucks coffee has become watered down. Popular iced and hot coffee specialty drinks taste more like watered down milk, sorry but true. Starbucks should not try to save money by defrauding the public and just increase the prices. I use to be a total starbucks customer but now go to biggby. I have had not one but several watered down drinks at several diffrent locations. Shame on you starbucks.

randy schroeder: start off, long time manager is a good guy and cares about his store but good help is it hard to find I assume these days. Some/couple of the bartenders flat out dont care, slow and unfortunately rude as the one i had today was. I will say not all the employees are bad as there is a couple long term ones I can think of that are super cool. This isnt justba Starbucks thing as CS has recently tanked over the past 2.5 years. J Lynn: I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for about a year and a half now, and I just wanna say how great the staff is there! I’ve become a “regular” there and I’ve acquainted and created a special bond with a few of the employees, they’re just so sweet and kind! Not to mention, their employees never fail to amaze me with their skills, I get mainly 1 drink and they always make it perfectly the way I like it! I’ve never really had any issues with ordering my drink at this location, therefore this store gets a 5/5 star rating from me! 🙌🏻 (it’s been a few months since I’ve been coming here but I went in today 3-13-23 to use my stars for a free coffee and they were quite happy to see me after a while and they even remembered my drink before I even had to say it myself!) if you want great customer service, you’ll definitely find it here!

Crystal: I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for years.! I always go to the location on cedar by the highway, I literally buy a iced mocha everyday.! More than some days I have had to have them re-make my drink, due to it tasting watered down, when it’s good, it’s good, when it’s bad… it’s bad.! Overall I believe it depends on who is making the drink.! Today I went it, had it re-made, and still it taste nasty.! No flavor and watery, I didn’t want to have to ask again for it to be re-made, so there goes 10.77 down the drain.! Yes it cost that much for my drink. I will be buying the stuff to make them at home from on. I am disappointed for sure.

Brooke Forbes: Idk if they got a new store manager. I see her often at the window the first time I saw her she was snippy because they didn’t have a product I wanted. So I ordered ahead of time so because she had to do a refund it was my fault the time for speed of service was my fault. Then I go again and they aren’t open at their posted hours. Everything was closed, ahead ordering, drive thru, lobby, an hour after when they were suppose to open, mind you there was 6 employee cars in the parking lot! Why have posted hours if you don’t use them.

L K: I have been here at least 4 times, and most of the time the experience has been ok. I had one great experience in the early morning hours when I got an awesome coffee, was served by a cheerful and conversational barista, and the wait wasn't abnormally long. Once in the afternoon, I went inside to order and I had to wait more than 30 minutes even though they were not busy. Meanwhile, the barista guy was just scrolling on his phone instead of making drinks. Some positive things I appreciate are that they have board games available and they also put out bags of grounds you can take for your garden. Overall, this Starbucks has a nice atmosphere but if you want the best experience, come in the early morning when the good baristas seem to be in. (Also, be sure to ask the "coffee masters" [black apron employees] what their favorite drink is, they have really good suggestions!)Parking: The parking is horrendous! There is very little space, and trying to exit onto the main road is tricky.Dietary restrictions: They have many nondairy options.
Lansing Rehabilitation: Not sure if I caught the two young ladies as well as the manager on a bad day, but lets just say the lack of interest in their job was evident. (However, I always order my drinks with an extra shot) The baristas are friendly and the line moves at a reasonable rate most times. (Side note: One of the "coffee masters" [black apron employees] suggested ordering my drink with blonde espresso shots instead of the usual shots and it was amazing! Christina Morris: Usually this store is great. I completely understand they are busy. I had three drinks ordered mobile. The order was complete 10:03. Our first drink came out at 10:07, second drink at 10:12 and the last drink at 10:32. I did not complain as they were so busy. However when I arrived home with our drinks, the drink we waited 30 mins for was 1/2 full. I should have looked. I called the store and they said oh sorry. When I spend $17.00 for three coffees I feel they should at least be full. There was no whip on this drink so it was a hot pumpkin spice latte with oat milk.

The staff is really nice and, despite me rarely going there, I still manage to always see the same workers :PThe picture I have attached is the one picture I have of a drink from there (I love seeing pictures in reviews, so this is for all y'all who are the same). It's an iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso with light ice and extra almond milk instead of oatmilk. It was sooooooo good I can't even explain. It's the lowest in calories that I can find, given I don't know the differences between any of the types of coffees they offer and it still tastes good.

C M: The spot used to be so much better with kind staff and speedy service. The service here has gotten worse over the years in terms of rude workers and taking +15 min to get a drink on a regular non-exams day. As for the prices, that is another story. It should be a crime to charge $1 for no/light ice but I will blame that on the company, not this particular franchise.

Lisa Williams: First I am a loyal customer of Starbucks. I purchase daily from various locations. This location has failed to measure up to Starbucks standards on too many occasions which has promoted me to write this.Example #1 of their service: I order on the app from the location down the street. I chose the location because I needed the drive thru. As it turned out they were closed for a strike so it sent my order to this location without a drive thru or near by handi-cap parking area. I called the store and asked for help. She all but said that's too bad. I asked to cancel order as I could not go in! She said no, I would need to call Starbucks. Can you send to a different location? "No, your coffee is on the counter"..I tried several times without luck to reach someone at Starbucks HQ so never received coffee or money back. Today I ordered through Doordash. I order 2 identical drinks. I pulled one out of the bag and thought thats odd it's mixed...I took a drink and it only dribbled out. There was way too much ice. Using a slotted spoon I removed ice. After removing most of the ice there wasn't even an inch and a half amount of coffee and there was still ice in it. I removed the ice from the other coffee to store in the refrigerator for later. I had just short the normal amount. I believe I received one Venti in two Venti Cups. I called the store. Someone who was "acting Manager" said I could come in to get it fixed. I tried to explain but was rushed off the phone. As someone who spends that much supporting your business I'm going elsewhere. This location is poorly staffed and doesn’t care! See photos.

白君德: Living in 1855 Place apartment complex, I absolutely love that this Starbucks is nearby. It’s usually busy, I find, especially during the morning and lunch rushes and on weekends when people are visiting campus. The staff here are all really nice, I’ve found. Unfortunately this location can not redeem stars, but you can collect them there and spend them elsewhere. I keep walking by hoping that my name will appear on the free drinks one day but after three years I’m still yet to see it.
S J Miller: Smaller size store. Extra seating outside the store and inside the larger bldg. Located in 1855 bldg affliated with Michigan State U. The hrs can vary with the University school yr. The parking is limited and expensive. Unlike some free MSU prkng after 6pm; the near prkng is limited and/or paid 24/7. Not convenient. There is a small connected deli and store. Good prices on good sandwiches. Very clean restrooms in the larger bldg. Free MSU WiFi.

AM V: The coffee here is mediocre. On top of that, they stop serving coffee before 1:00 pm, which was supposed to be the ending time. PEOPLE DRINK COFFEE IN THE AFTERNOON. Students need more working opportunities too. It just seems to be such a waste.
Brandy Muzzy: Anyone who complains about the wait time is invalid. These people are busting their butts to get us our drinks after class and frankly do not get enough credit. Nor do they get paid enough for such a high volume.The line is 40 people long at some points. Props to the team for never disappointing. They’re kind despite the stress. And they always put up with us.They move as fast as they can.
Brianna Howell: Stood in line for 50 minutes just to be told they didn’t have either milk option I can drink only the 3 options i have food allergies to. No accommodations were offered or anything. Bad customer service.
Fal Atkins: I get it that everyone was brand new when they reopened this fall. But the chick who made my frappe let it sit there for 5 minutes after it was done blending and forgot the java chips. I watched her make several drinks for guests that ordered after me and left before me. I wouldn't have really cared if the quality of the drink wasn't watered down and I wasn't late to class because of it.
Abigail Makowski: Not impressed at all. Walked in the store at 2:45pm today when they advertise that they close at 3. All doors were locked. I frankly don't care if you close at 2:45 or 3, but you need to reflect the correct times on your website. Additionally, during previous visits to this location, the baristas seem to not want customers there in the first place by unenthusiastically taking my order and generally seeming frustrated that they had to do their jobs. Visit the Starbucks at 1855 Place instead, much better staff and reliable store hours.
Meg Tufer: The workers who are clearly students are hard workers. The manager however is very disappointing to see. While he has 3 workers rushing to serve as many people as they can, he saunders around from in and out of the back. His job should be to support his workers, especially when they are busy and can’t keep up with demand. I hope the workers quit or transfer to a location where the manager actually cares for them and the business
白君德: I’ve been to this Starbucks countless times over the last five years that I’ve been at MSU. It’s always great to get off the bus at wells hall and go inside for a coffee. This place is very small, with very limited seating, and it is extremely busy during the lunch time rush. There will be a long line far out the door sometimes. May as well walk over to one of the other nearby locations when you see that. Staff are friendly and nice.

I felt they are volontior workers that does not get paid. I went to Starbucks on Grand River and Charles St. explained the situation. Barista was very professional and polite. He gave me new one by the same recipe (thanks man). I am happy but it was little bit of nice wolk at -4 C (25F) and wind. Nerver comming back agian Well's Hall Starbucks on campuse and do not recomend.
Gloria Steinberg: I usually am very satisfied with this Starbucks, but lately they've been really rude. Today I ordered an ice coffee with light ice and very light cream (My skin gets very irritated if I drink too much milk) and I got a drink that was literally WHITE. More cream than coffee I'm pretty sure!! So, I very kindly asked the girl to remake it and she was very rude, she told me that thats what happens to coffee when theres cream in it and when she remade it she basically threw it at me. Coffee was spilling out of the cup and it was all over the cap as well. I had to spend 8 minutes cleaning the cup and even got some on my sweatshirt because she decided to be rude. despicable.
