Told that the pair has some scratches (visible maybe under a microscope) and refused to return them. One would think that a business of such a big name would have better customer service. Never buy anything from this place!! Everything that they sell is almost twice the price of what you may find the same thing over the internet for. Pease shop online.

She adeptly sorted through my multiple insurance program issues, and advised me on adapting the frames I chose to serve my individual needs. Her demeanor was professional and exceptionally pleasant. It may well have been one of the best appointments I have ever had in an eyewear store.
Lisa Dobbrastine: I had the pleasure of working with Jessika at the Lansing SEE location. She provided a wonderful experience from start to finish! She ensured that I was the only one in the store with my newborn at the time of my visits. This was huge for me with the current pandemic. My father is currently in remission from a rare and aggressive form of bone marrow cancer and suffers from an extremely compromised immune system. All precautionary measures to protect him and my daughter are always taken seriously so it was very exciting to see how thorough Jessika was creating a safe and sanitized environment for me to get new glasses. I am absolutely in love with my new glasses and give her and this location a 5 star rating! Top notch customer care and service! Way to go above and beyond Jessika! Thank you!

I returned for 3 more exams with the same doctor to find the same result.Sadly the worst part was dealing with the staff. I was rushed. Pushed to pick frames then hurried through the rest of the experience just to go home after 2 months from the initial visit WITHOUT NEW GLASSES.Corporate was just as bad if not worse. I ended up loosing money and a great deal of time. Their “Hip without the rip” slogan is false. Take your patronage elsewhere.

Sohaib kim: I will never come back to you, my insurance covers $200 hardware and in store i told the staff i cannot pay out of pocket and i love the frames, they were very unhelpful, finally they offered me the worst pairs i ever used in my life, the basic lenses that reflect light and not coated or protected, i wish i didnt say yes. I hate the way i was treated, if i just went to another place, i could have had the best lenses available for less. Anyway am GONE 4ever.

Not only was I not acknowledged upon arrival, but i was ignored for the 10 minutes I wasted waited there. The guy working there saw me arrive and didn't even give me a head nod. After 10 min of not being acknowledged I walked out. There was one guy working there. Even though he was with other clients good customer service would have been to say "hi, someone will be with you shortly." It's safe to say I will never go back there for any reason.

Professionalism was a little lacking, some minor things that would have been done on a traditional eye doctor’s setting were missed, like shutting the exam room door during examination, and having the client see the equipment sanitized by the doctor between patients would’ve been helpful. I was impressed, however, at how advanced their equipment is. I guess being a commercial business has its perks.

Catherine Lindley: Dawn was very observant while she was looking at my lens prescription. She noticed the inconsistency with a plus sign and a negative sign. Astutely, she knew to confirm with my eye doctor the accuracy of my lens prescription. Dawn was absolutely correct in her assessment that one of the symbols was not right. She rectified this very professionally and apologized for my extra time while she fixed the issue. I assured her getting the script correct is of utmost importance and waiting through the process was no problem at all. Dawn knows her job and proper customer care is extremely important to her, that was obvious. Dawn also very kindly looked up my last visit to answer my questions about the visit in 2021. Great job, Dawn! Thank you Lens Crafters for having an employee like Dawn! And thank you for your location. I live very close and having to make my way to your Lansing Mall location with one eye not working very well, is very much appreciated. Dawn is a wonderful employee for Lens Crafters.

Constance Fritzsche: Just went to pick up my glasses and my debit card declined my purchase. After call insurance company and having them give me some ginky excuse the manager waived the 87 dollar cost and gave me my glasses. They are the best.

Come to find out, the contacts arrived three days before the eyeglasses arrived but they weren’t included in the order.Store associate tried to gaslight me thinking I wouldn’t catch on that they dropped the ball Ruth their communication.Now I have to wait days before I can get back to town before I can pick up my contacts. I’ve been to several locations throughout the country but yet, this location is the only one that treated my order like I was in the drive through at McDonald’s.

If I want to get three pairs, and stay under my limit that is MY BUSINESS. Stay away

Marilyn M. G.: I went in just for an eye exam (glasses and contact lenses). Their location was very convenient to where I work. I feel that Dr. Matson did a good job with the eye exam, although he doesn’t have the best bedside manner…easy enough for me to overlook. After meeting with the doctor for about 30 minutes, he brought me to the front of the store. The front office staff were definitely friendly, until after I paid for the exam. I explained to the office manager that I did not want to purchase from Pearle right now, as last year’s glasses were still good, and I had several pair of contact lenses from last year, so wasn’t in a hurry to purchase more. When I asked for copies of prescriptions for both exams, I was told by the office manager that they don’t give copies of the contact lens prescription until the sample had been tried and worn for a week. This would ensure that the new prescription worked well for me. However, she still wanted me to order and pay for the new prescription at that time, without trying the sample lens. This didn’t make sense to me, so I asked again for copies of both prescriptions, telling her I didn’t need to buy anything now. She said she would give me the glasses prescription, but not the contact lens prescription. I offered to give back the one trial contact lens that the doctor gave me. After that, she rolled her eyes, walked to the back office, and returned with copies of both prescriptions. Not the customer service I expected after reading such great reviews. But that could be because I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars there. I’ve never had that problem with other optical offices. Needless to say, I won’t be back there.

But once he got to seeing the Dr that all changed, he made my son uncomfortable, he had no patience for kids what so ever! As, I sat there she started helping a customer, I asked her how long did she think It would be? She said she didn’t know. This is when she informed me that the lady she was helping had an appointment and that she and the other lady were the only ones working. Meanwhile another lady comes from the back and asks what was it that i needed and I told her and she stops what she is doing to take a few seconds just to refill the cleaning solution. Just a few seconds is all it took. Then another lady comes in and she was asked if she had an appointment. She says no she just wanted to look at some glasses.or some frames or something of the sort. she was seated and was in the process of being helped . Meanwhile I would have still been waiting if the lady hadn’t taken just a few seconds to just refill the solution .Again, just a few seconds is all it took. So my thing is why was what the the lady that came in after me that had no appointment as well. . Why was what she needed was so much more important than what I needed. You lost me as a customer and my family members and friends as well.

P & R Burry: Worst technician ever. I had my exam, which was fine but the technician to help me with frames had no idea what she was doing. She got very little help from the experienced tech nearby. She was basically thinking out loud about which charges she should charge me then quoted me about $400 per pair on $79 lens!!!! What a rip off!! When I asked if that was correct- almost $800 for 2 pair she it was - it's the reflection package and lens apparently. Don't waste your time or money here. What a disappointing appointment! I thought she would at least offer me other options in my price range. Will NEVER go back!

Judy: Made an appointment in advance for an eye exam and received TWO Confirmations back from this store confirming the Date and Time of my Appointment. Drove 30 minutes today for this appointment and I arrived on time. They claimed my appointment was for a different time but I showed them the Two confirmations still on my phone they sent me with the correct Date/Time. Then they blamed it on their computer but refused to honor my appointment and told me I would have to reschedule. Told me I could sit and wait to see if there were any no-shows the rest of the day. Really? Have been coming to this store for years but there will be no rescheduling because I will never be back!

Judi Sikarskie: The Americas best location on Market Pl., Boulevard in West Lansing has wonderful customer service. The manager, Kim, is very willing to listen to your needs and does what she can to keep you satisfied. The doctor is very knowledgeable and friendly.
jillykz: I was in to the Marketplace location for my first time recently and I had the most pleasant experience ever. From my first phone call to the front desk staff, to my check in, to my initial exam with the tech assistant, and then with the eye doctor. I had excellent, friendly and professional service from start to finish. I will definitely be back in 2 weeks for my permanent contacts and I will recommend this office to anyone who asks.
