A Catered Affaire bailed on my best friends wedding 2 weeks before the wedding with comments such as "you said you would make it worthour time." They had obviously got a better offer and chose to bail in the wedding they committed too a year prior.. Don't let this be you and chose a more reliable caterer!

Loren Harvey: Jessie from A Catered Affair was fabulous to work with! She was accommodating, flexible, and extremely professional. A Catered Affair was extremely affordable, and the food was delicious. We selected a buffet service, and the servers helped the line move quickly so our guests were able to get their food in a timely fashion.

Jacki Pickutoski: A Catered Affaire was a preferred vendor of our venue (Michigan Wildlife Conservancy) regardless, we would definitely be happy to work with them again. The food was simple and delicious. At the tasting they answered all of our questions and provided us with good examples of the food we were going to have at our wedding, as well as went over different options for cocktail hour and dinnerware. The staff was extremely professional, and followed my request to wear masks with no complaints or problems. They always say people will remember the food at your wedding, and if they do they will have nothing but nice things to say about mine!

Jessica Corey: A catered affaire catered our wedding last month and did a GREAT job! They worked so hard to make sure that everything was perfect from the place settings to the food. We had about 135 guests. The price is super reasonable and the staff is great. We met with Doyle for a trial before the wedding and he was very accommodating. Cannot recommend this catering company enough!

Tenetra Moon: I ordered here for my wedding reception. We order baked chicken, herb crusted tilapia with red mashed potatoes, green beans or brocolli, Cesar salad and dinner rolls. We had numerous complaints about the fish being overcooked the tilapia portion being cut in half (literally one piece of tilapia was cut in half to serve two people) the vegetables were served cold and the dinner rolls were hard. They charged over 1100 plus 250 to have it served and the staff would not even serve the head table. And when I complained they response was this is our number one dish. I even sent several complaints directly from the wedding guest and I received no response back.Worst food ever

Tom Denise Hedlund: What a delicious meal for a wedding. They did a bang up job. Main courses were spectacular, the potatoes and the other sides and salads were amazing. She was great to work with. Since my daughter was planning from out of state she worked easily with us for the test tasting when she was home on break. The taste test meal was identical to the full wedding meal. (Sometimes you get a great tester but with larger quantities there is something just not there. NOT the case here). I'd highly recommend Center of the Plate!!

Early on, she was willing to create a custom menu for what I was looking for and as I was planning from across the country, was happy to have a tasting six months prior to the wedding. Rachelle drove out to my home for the tasting and the food was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely everything was to die for. We were already looking forward to the food for six months later! Her prices were also much lower than competitors in the area, which were incredibly reasonable for what we were asking!Rachelle sent emails a month in advance and two weeks out, asking questions to cover all bases. We knew the exact times her and her crew would arrive, when they would leave, how long dinner would take, and all the small details. I really appreciated how fast she responded to emails and how easily we were able to create a detailed timeline.Fast forward to the wedding day on June 15th, 2019! Rachelle and her team arrived a touch early to get a feel for the venue and set up. She was so appreciative of our venue owner's help and instead of asking as though the catering was the be-all, end-all, she worked WITH our coordinator to ensure everything would be in the best place. This collaboration created a positive atmosphere that continued through the reception! Once the reception began, Rachelle let out table by table, letting the bride and groom go first. She checked in with us as she let out other tables to make sure everything was what we hoped for. This was the fastest I had ever seen 100 guests receive their food. The buffet line went by without a hitch and everyone got to their food in no time! They offered seconds to anyone who wanted them, and the staff were very responsive to keeping waters filled and places cleaned from the tables.And now the food. The food was worth the six month wait! The salad and rolls were incredible to start. The potatoes and green beans were quite possibly the best vegetables I had ever eaten. The chicken with a cherry-apple compote was so juicy and tender and the top-round with the horseradish au juis was just how I remembered it. I took off a pasta dish from the menu and I do not have any regrets about that. Every dish we decided on was perfect and I had so many guests come up to me, raving about how this was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! I cannot recommend Rachelle and Center of the Plate enough for weddings!

Samantha Davis: Saites Bros. Caterers did a great job with our wedding appetizers, dinner and bartending at Red Ribbon Hall in Eaton Rapids, MI. Nancy is friendly and lovely to work with. We had the Chicken Athenian, Braised Beef Tips and Vegetarian Lasagna, and all we very yummy. They also offered many gluten free options for my guests which was important. The bartenders were personable and able to make a quick drink to keep the line down - they did an amazing job with a group who likes a cocktail. Highly recommend this place!

Andy Storer: Used Saites Bros for our wedding. Our experience was positive and the food was great. We worked with Nancy to get things organized in a hurry when we found ourselves in need of a caterer just a few weeks before the wedding. Price was great, and they also supplied a bar tender for us which was a great bonus. We had the carving station beef and half spring chicken, along with a vegetarian lasagna. Positive feedback from our guests about the food as well. We did find it most effective to go into the office and speak with Nancy in person to get everything on a contract and to check out some of the pictures from their book.

Robin Marxx: They are very attentive and polite. Food is refilled almost immediately. They also have a grill open where u can bring up stuff and they cook it for u. They have great sesame chicken and their mocha and raspberry mousse cakes are my favorite!

Had it just been me I would have made a complaint but I was a guest with my best friend and her mother so had to be polite. So I figured I just come on here and tell my exp here. The worker vacuumed while we were eating, asking us to plug in the cord and unplug it when they were done. The worker kept talking about tips. This is self-serve. I can take my dishes to the kitchen myself. I haven't been to this restaurant in a long time and I don't plan to go back.
