Best Asian Fusion Restaurant Sterling Heights Near Me

Frank penzin: I'll give it 31/2 *. My order was almond chic dinner w/ egg roll and chic fried rice. All was good and tasty but for 13.00 I got 2 chic breast fillet pieces. My other favorite Chinese restaurant in Troy( 18mi -Rochester rd) is equally tasty with 3 chic fillets. I know, it's just an extra piece of chicken...but it's an extra piece of chicken breast. 2 slices of chicken breast to me is stingy when paying 13 for a dinner. That's just me. Their food was tasty though. Just comparing these 2 good restaurants I go to.

Katelyn Burger: Overpriced for what you get and unfriendly staff… when I walked into the restaurant everyone just STARED at me as if I had just walked into someones house and not a restaurant. Once I made it to the counter for my pickup I tried making small talk and just being friendly since walking in was very awkward but the lady cashing me out was short and did not smile and her body language indicated she was offended by my friendliness or at least annoyed by it. Shame used to love this place before the pandemic!!!

Amy Mar: Great Chinese Szechuan restaurant in the area. We got the green beans, squirrel fish (both flavors), pork and bamboo stir fry and salt and pepper squid. Every dish was amazing except the salt and pepper squid that night (dry and lacking the salt and pepper seasoning which is the best part). But overall this place is a consistent favorite.

Shayna O'Connell: We used to love coming here. It always felt a bit upscale and was a fun experience. That's not really the case anymore.No salad bar or soup now, that's sad but not a deal breaker. The broccoli was all stems, gross. There was a rotation smell near the protein bar. The spices are in shakers, which I guess isn't awful, but there isn't any minced garlic anymore, just dried.I don't think they've remodeled since they've opened, chairs and table are all scratched and feel wobbly. Everything feels/looks sticky.They charge you $1 for three tortillas. (Used to be included) No sour cream.On the plus side, everyone was very nice. I don't think we'll be back though.

I have seen a few people literally throw food back unto the grill after damn near being on the edge of the grill the whole time I was here. I always tip but I’m so disappointed in this location. J W: I was so excited to finally find a BD's Mongolian grill in the area, but this was a huge disappointment. It honestly felt like the restaurant had just opened for its first weekend. The meat area was hardly stocked and was completely out of chicken and steak which we waited almost 10 minutes for it to get refilled then we waited 47 minutes for our food to get cooked by the chefs. It was unfortunate. Restaurant was very dirty in the dinning area and the bathrooms were just as bad. Only good thing was our server kept up on our drink refills. Maybe they just had new staff but I'm not sure.

With a full crowd around the grill, and an additional 17 people in line holding bowls of food, only one cook was active, and he was lethargic and clearly displeased with the situation. It took approximately 25 minutes to get the food cooked, by which time, the appetizer I'd ordered was stone cold. Further complicating matters were significant gastric problems about 30 minutes after eating. I suspect the chicken was at fault. At roughly $40 per guest for appetizer/food/drink/dessert, this was a ridiculous experience that I hope to not repeat.

Blackheart Lives: Update. 3-24-23 Celebrating a job well done and a goal achieved...my son chose Lims...my boy is the greatest. Once again our meal was totally the best. Battered chicken dishes are truly outstanding. The chicken pieces are superb. All of us were happy as usual. Here is something I NEED to share. The owner is experimenting with what I am calling fusion egg roles. Last night she told me she had something new and she had a few left. What she had made this time (hand made) was what she called a polish egg roll. OH MY WHAT A TREAT. it had fresh vegetables and polish sausage. She served it with a sauce that she made by hand too. A mayo, garlic and something else sauce that really complimented the flavor of the PER. She also has on the menu now a corned beef egg roll with another new sauce that is similar to thousand island but different. Those are just too good. AND, she will exchange your combination egg roll for a new one for just a small upcharge. Please try Lims.Update 3-11-23. We actually have been here a few times since this update. That alone says that we like it here. It isn't just the food (but that's the main reason.) We love the friendliness of the owner. She is really fun in a professional way. They have a decent amount of inside sit down business but it isn't loud. Best of all they have a new asian corned beef egg roll. Truly outstanding.We all liked Lims a lot. I had something off of the non combination area (Hong Kong chicken.) It took extra time and oh yes it was worth it. A big plus was that I had enough to have an entire second meal. Zhaerhen Aydos: Concerns are raised about the hygiene of this place, as cockroaches crawl around diners' utensils and also near the beverage dispenser. No one seems to be cleaning up the hygiene here. I even saw them cleaning moldy grapes to serve to the customers. Eating here is a gamble on not getting sick. Why isn't there an institution to manage restaurants with such poor sanitation? If anyone falls ill after eating at this restaurant, watch my video; they should be held accountable for you.

Angel Touchette: The food here is alright, but it’s more the service i was extremely unimpressed with. The we didn’t even realize we had a server until the very end. Never cleared our plates, never refilled our drinks. Then when it was time to pay, all the sudden she was in full force. Ran my card without telling me there’s an extra “service charge” and showed me where I tip. I used to be a server and usually tip generously…but she literally did nothing. Then she stood there hovering over my shoulder until I was done filling it out. It was awkward and rude. Now I know where she was while we were dining…harassing other diners for a tip.

I can go to Golden Corral for $12/person for lunch or to Chinese restaurant for under $9 & get full at either of those places. I paid almost $19 for a lunch & that didn't include tip. Not sure why that had the entire place decorated for Christmas in the middle of May either lol. That's the last thing I want to see after it just started to warm up outside! Frustrating, because their food is good. I would come more often if it was something reasonable like $12 for lunch.

Linda Mcguckin: Everything was amazing from the time the waitress walked up to the table until we paid the bill the food was reasonable we got so much food we couldn't eat it all we brought home probably 2/3 of it I had the generals meal Dan had sweet and sour chicken along with long tongues soup and an appetizer of some kind of crab legs with cream cheese with a crispy outside it was delicious. The waitress was very attentive not too attentive she actually gave us a chance to eat which sometimes they kind of pop back and pop back just to make sure you're all right I'm not saying anything bad about that but thank you for a wonderful meal I hope you guys enjoy

Laurie Voorhies: Pictures on the website DO NOT represent the dish they say it is...WATCH OUT. Staff was very rude about it and unwilling to do anything about it when the carryout food was something totally different. WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!

Ying Liu: Our favorite catering for the office lunch. I can not say enough good things about this place. The food is always delicious, they're generous with their portions. We had a tray of general tso's chicken that was delicious, pepper steak were also a favorite. Yummy Crab Rangoon and egg rolls. The entire staff was great and working hard to process all the orders they had in a timely fashion. Our office in Sterling Heights will continue to use them.

bee s.: Delicious mouth watering food, generous portions, and excellent customer service!This restaurant quickly became one of our favorites for my family after the first time we ordered. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh every time. It looks amazing when you first open the boxes. They even staple the boxes and are very diligent in making sure nobody can tamper with them in the time it may take for the food to be delivered to your house. We used to only order through uber eats, but after a recent situation where the driver stole 3/4 of our items, we called the restaurant and they completely remade it for us. All we had to do is go pick it up in person.From now on, we will conduct all our business with this restaurant personally, without third parties like uber eats or door dash. But we’ll definitely continue to order from here regularly! One of the best chinese/ thai food we have ever had. And the workers there are really nice! So happy we found you, House of Chan!

Aphrodite: I’d rate this place a 4.8 but since that’s not an option I rounded. I like that they’re open earlier than nearby Asian cuisines. You can tell they make almost everything from scratch, the egg rolls, crab Rangoon, spring rolls etc. I’m not a huge fan of their egg rolls or spring rolls which was why I didn’t want to give a 5 star rating. I ordered the garlic chicken but it was more like a spicy chicken with mixed vegetables. It was still really good, I enjoy a medley of vegetables. My boyfriend got the beef with vegetable and his food was delicious. I do recommend their crab Rangoon, they’re not dry like most places and they actually have plum sauce that taste well made. Fortune cookies were fresh tasting too, and the fortunes creepily accurate, lol. Staff was very polite and food was done super quick. I will definitely be back to try more entrees and keep you guys updated.
