Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Sterling Heights: what do users think?
Julie Pletzke: We love Aqua-Tots SH! My daughter started at 8 y/o and was very fearful of the water. She decided she wanted to join after watching her little brother have so much fun in his classes. The first couple months of lessons were full of tears and anxiety but she persevered and the coaches were all extremely patient and wonderful to her. She’s had a variety of coaches due to our changing schedules and we’ve loved them all. Now she’s graduated 2 levels, and swimming the full-lane independently and LOVING being in the water. You would never know she ever felt uncomfortable in the pool. It has also provided us peace of mind that our children are confident swimmers and have learned essential safety skills. Not to mention the staff is friendly and super helpful, the facility is clean and well kept. I couldn’t be happier with our experience here.
Fred Gibson: I am now taking my 2nd young grandson to the Sterling Heights Aqua-Tots. I want to recognize staff at the desk- Kayla, Satyra, and Jaymin, as well as swim instructors Kristin, Autumn, and Jake. Each is courteous, friendly, and professional. Kristin is currently instructing my 2nd gdson in Level 3. She is wonderful - patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and always smiling. My 2 1/2 yr old gdson thinks of her as Ariel the mermaid. Without exception, each of the individuals at the desk who I have talked to and each of the swim instructors each of my gdsons have had since early 2019 have been exceptional. Thank you Aqua-Tots.
playlist Voss: Coach Makayla is great with our 3 year old daughter. She has gained confidence in the water and a love to swim!
IANA NEVMERZHYTSKA: All staff are always nice and friendly. Mostly communicated with Maria and Cetera. They are very nice ladies.
Daija Groce: Jai is awsome . staff very friendly!
Shelby Nadolski: Amanda was extremely helpful at the front desk! She was very knowledgeable when we toured and always greets us when we walk in for class. My daughter loves her class with Coach Courtney. She is patient and great with the swimmers!
Chanelle Elary: The best staff and swimming instructors!! Hands down the best place for kids swimming lessons!
Jeff Laudicina: Great place, my kids love it. The staff is great especially coach Nick, Kris, and Makayla. And the front desk is always helpful with great personalities.
Holly Kowal: I have been bringing my now 19 month old son for a year now. He always seems to enjoy swimming class and he LOVES the water! Although we have had numerous different instructors now due to turnover (which I understand working in healthcare), we have never had a bad instructor and have been happy with each and every one of them! Keep up the great work in helping our kids to not be afraid of the water!
Miranda Flannigan: The staff is always so nice and welcoming. My child has made big strides outside of the pool because he started swimming at 6 months. The facility is always clean.
Christine Trysh: The facility is always clean and the staff are very welcoming. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and genuinely care about the progress of their students.
Toni Ector: The entire staff, including instructors are very friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean. The lessons are reasonably priced. My daughter is progressing well and loves the lessons.
Leah Sandlin: I absolutely loved aqua tots my journey with them is amazing and I'm so thankful for the staff and instructors. My child Haas grown so much in less then a month and her confidence in water is amazing. Now don't let the prices turn u away because they are worth it I originally planned to only do a month and now they got me as a lifer because I know they are worth it. Thank you aqua tots for being a part of my little mermaids journey I'm looking forward to all the stages she will learn as she grows she will be two in March is at stage two on the chart. My family loves Aqua-Tots
Antonina Strazimiri: Aqua-Tots has been a very pleasant experience for us. The instructors are knowledgeable and caring. The environment is clean and easy to maneuver. Even the other students and their parents are friendly and sweet.Special shout-out to Instructor Alexa! Our reserved kiddo responded very well to her kind and sweet attitude.
Dena Shina: Everyone is always so sweet there. Especially to my son, he loving coming in and saying hi to all the staff and they are always so warm and welcoming to him! We definitely love our swim days!
Matt Bunch: Great Customer Service!!!
Brandon & Noah channel: Aqua tots is by far the best around! My son went from being terrified to learning so much in just 1 month. Coming to weekly class makes him so happy!
Monda Lazri: Thank you Miss Mackenzie for being so great with the kinds in your group.Your patience and kindness has made Stella’s learning experience an enjoyable one.
Qian Liu: The teachers are great, my kid loves them. There is one little suggestion I would like to put up here is the water temperature is not warm enough as it’s getting colder. My kid got sick twice after swimming class and she said the water was cold.
Jamie S: My 4 year old son isenrolled here and absolutely loves it. The staff is amazing and so helpful. Jake is his absolute favorite person. When Jake was training my son took to him immediately. We asked to switch him to Jake’s class when he got his own classes. They made the change for us. My son has grown so much and has looked forward to coming every Saturday to be with him. Thank you Aqua Tots team for being so amazing, accommodating, and pleasant!
Ileena Gaines: I Am Very Unhappy With The Service Im Being Provided. My Family transferred and has been at this location for a month and I’m still having the same problems. I’ve spoken to someone face to face 3 times now and nothing has changed. I feel like my money is being wasted and I’m not being taken serious as a customer. When I transferred my son to this location his swim card started over and went from getting stars in the ADVANCED column to being completely empty and started over. I have brought this issue to the staff attention multiple times now. I feel Both ME AND MY CHILD are being ROBBED. My son isn’t being taught properly due to incorrect chart and I’m not getting my money worth due to lack of caring by staff. I’m about ready to just pull my child from the program and take my business else where even though that wouldn’t matter to the Aqua Tot Company One Bit. I will speak with someone in person one more time about this and if the same problem consists then I am going to pull my child.

Goldfish Swim School - Macomb: what do users think?
Julie Barney: Their instructional methods used are amazing - my daughter went from being afraid to put her face in the water to swimming halfway across the pool with her face in within a few weeks! Very supportive instructors!
Kristin: We are so happy to be at Goldfish. My 3.5 year old son started with Miss Sarah then moved on to Mr. Shane, and has loved coming each week! They truly have taught him so much already, we look forward to seeing how much more he can progress in the water, as well as learning how to swim safely.
Josh Saari: We had my son's first birthday party here and it was unpleasant. There is poor communication between employees, management, and the customer. For example, when we scheduled the party we were told the pool would be open the entire time for the kids to swim. We were also told we were not allowed to bring food. However when we arrived the day of the party they had put a time limit on pool use, so some families did not get to make use of the pool at all. They also asked us if we had food we wanted to bring in. It would have been nice to be able to plan for food for our guests ahead of time. The staff began putting tables and chairs away while we were still there, so many of our guests had to stand while we opened gifts. It was very clear the employees wanted to rush us out of there. Very unpleasant and unprofessional and I am wondering why they would even offer a service to host parties at all since it seemed to be such an inconvenience having us there. The cupcakes were good, but there was a 25 person limit so there was not enough for everyone.
Iris Kote: The staff and the teachers are super nice and professional. My daughter loved Ms. Lauren.Thank you:)Sincerely,Iris
Kyle Russell: Great place,great instructors
Samantha Marino: 100% worth it, water safety is extremely important and also fun! We love watching my daughter learn and grow with each class.
Ashley Emswiler: We started swimming lessons originally with a different company, we were with that company for a almost a year before switching to goldfish and I wish we would have MUCH sooner. In the short month we have been with Goldfish my son (2 yo) has already improved so much! The staff is all incredible, and so knowledgeable. We are very excited to see our son progress in their program.
Matt Jacob: An employee wearing street clothes had to jump in the pool and rescue my 5 year old. What were the assigned lifeguards doing? What if the employee in street clothes hadn’t been there? Why would I pay for this service if I can’t trust the lifeguards to pay attention
Jenn Werner: Loved this place. We terminated our lessons rather abruptly. My young child had just been the reason the pool had to close. Management loudly made sure everyone knew it was my child and I was the child's parent. We were embarrassed in front of our peers, which wasn't their policy from my understanding. Until that moment, we had been having 5 star experiences. That was our first and only experience with that manager. I wish I could remember her name. It's been years and my child still brings it up. Just did- hence the review
Tiffany Wynne: The staff friendly, facility is clean, instructors are very thorough and patient. Wonderful atmosphere for the kiddos to learn!
Yasmin: I’ve noticed a huge difference in my child’s confidence in the pool after just one month in goldfish swim!
Jerry Kempisty: Great Team !
Stephanie Frazho: We absolutely love Goldfish Swim School Macomb. It’s such a great facility with wonderful instructors and lesson plans. My five-year-old daughter, Ava, has been going here for about a year and a half. She moved up from the junior one class all the way to the pro one class! She loves it. My little two-year-old girl, Mia, began lessons a couple months ago and loves it too. She is in the mini three class. It’s amazing to see my girls learn so much and have fun doing it. I couldn’t be a happier customer. Thank you for providing a fantastic service!
Crystal Thomas: I love the instructors
Jennifer Leo: We’ve had all of our kids there, ages 2-8. They excel and grow so quickly. I’ve tried community centers to save money- but you HANDS DOWN get what you pay for! I’d recommend Goldfish!
Courtney Mueller: We absolutely love Goldfish. Our daughter made so much progress in just 6 months. The previous swim school she was in the same class for nearly 2 years. We love Brooke she is amazing with our daughter.
Michael Johnson: Both kids went here & both are now good swimmers. Not cheap, but there isn’t a price on learning how to swim well. Staff great, place is always clean. Highly recommend.
Mrs. Patrice Wilson-Graham: Thee best
Laurie Whitton: They have lessons starting as a baby. Once the children go through all levels the can do competition swim if they would like. They have skilled teachers who are very patient with the children. They also have many days and times available for lessons.
Eric W: Friendly staff that really knows how to interact with babies and toddlers. Our toddler son loves coming to swim class every week. The flexible scheduling being able to last minute cancel a class and receive a make up token is also great when you have a toddler.
Ashley N: Teachers are patient and friendly with the kids. Made my son feel comfortable and excited to learn to swim!

Big Blue Swim School: what do users think?
Nicole Gadie: My daughter has been going to this location for a little over 2 months and she absolutely loves it!! All the instructors are nice and pay attention to exactly what she needs to work on.
Mike Brabow: Clean wonderful place for kids. Everyone working there is exceptional
Dave DEBoer: It’s a nice clean and new facility. The instructors are all patient my 4 year old loves to go to swim class.
Lauren Chmielewski: After a couple different instructor we finally found one that my daughter did really well with. Ember is amazing with my daughter and all other kids she helps. Very playful and you can tell she really enjoys working with the kids. My daughters swimming has improved in the 6 months we have been here!
Mitchell Gildenberg: The staff was awesome! My kids love it here
Amanda Kosman: Bright and inviting facility.
Alaina Mezwa: Overall great experience!! We would definitely recommend Big Blue Swim School to friends and family!! 😀
Matt’s Google Account: Friendly staff, very easy to schedule a makeup, and clean. My kids love to come here and have grown so much in a short amount of time.
K S: Overall the front desk staff was friendly and the facilities are fine, however they switched our 7 year old sons teacher every single week (it must have been at least 4 times) saying that this would be his teacher moving forward. Also the instruction was not friendly towards children. My son was forced to practice skills that he was scared to do and had never done (not using the barbell when he felt uncomfortable). We ended up wasting 1 month’s tuition because they needed a 30 day notice to cancel and my son didn’t want to go back. He’s now much happier at a different swim school on Hall Rd. with classes tailored to his skills and a friendly teacher that is the same each time. I hope corporate steps in to improve this location especially training staff in interacting with children.
Tiffany Raye: We’ve been attending since they opened this location. They have improved since first opening. The songs during the baby 1 classes are my sons favorite part! My one complaint is that the lessons are always the same, and unless you ask for it, it doesn’t seem like the instructors in the group classes are focused on helping your baby improve, but lead the class like someone would lead yoga. While we like the staff, they all love my son, and he has improved since we started, I feel like there’s not a ton of value to prolonged lessons since we can do the same exercises at home. I’d love if there were some other activities and the lessons got changed up sometimes to keep it interesting.
Nadroj Eiramodurt: I walked into this school to get info and check out the building. I was not greeted or talked to the entire time I stood near the viewing area or walked the building. Like that’s not an issue? I wouldn’t be comfortable taking my children here if random people can just walk in and walk around with no issue. Also while watching a few minutes of the classes the a couple of the instructors were just moving the kids across the pool without them being shown how to kick or do scooper arms. There were also a few kids wearing full face masks on, which when learning how to swim is going to prohibit them from learning actual breath control, which is a basic for learning how to swim this meaning you’re wasting money and your child is not actually learning what you’re paying for.
Prasenjit Mitra: While the facilities are good, they do not show the intent of improving the learners skill level. They change the instructors much too frequently and every new instructor follows the same drill that the kid was trying with the last one. As a result, progress is very slow. Not sure if this is intentional…
Jada Mclemore: I just want Thank the General Manager Matt at this location. Matt was helpful, and friendly he solved all my issues. Great customer service !

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Troy: what do users think?
Kristy Hessler: I am so happy with the experiences my kids have had at aqua tots!! My daughter cannot wait to go to swim class each week and I love seeing her gain confidence in the water. My son is so apprehensive about the water and he tends to be quite difficult with strong emotions about going underwater. The coaches have been so supportive and patient with him. Kristjan had been such a kind and patient coach for my kids and I cannot rave enough about him. He remains calm and patient as they learn. Even when the kids get crazy, he manages them with a smile on his face. Keep up the great work and we will keep coming back!!Another rave review for another exceptional coach, Chelsea!! From our first visit, Chelsea had a positive impact on my kids! My son was so nervous about going underwater the first class, that he for the first 7 minutes. She got in the water to reassure him and she has been a calming presence for him ever since. He loves working with her and always points her out when we go. She also remembers my kids names and is always a bright light to our family!! Thanks Chelsea!!
Rick Dodaj: Our kids our having a great time learning how to swim. All the instructors seem to do a great job, but Kristjan seems to stand out. Our kids love it when he is the instructor!
Tamara Yaldo: My children have been attending Aqua-Tots for a few years now. Our experience has improved more and more. We deeply appreciate both the coaches and staff for putting in genuine effort towards the progress of our children’s swim skills while simulateneously having a blast during sessions. Thank you.
Laurie_Gem Acosta: Coaches are amazing with kids, not only teaching them swimming techniques but in helping them to build their self-confidence and trusting their abilities.
Kristina’s r Ed gaglio: Very helpful staff , clean environment, and my kids love it !
Nicole Gora: Came in inquiring enrolling my kids in swim lessons, The manager “Beth” the name i was given, was extremely dismissive and rude, Not only to me but to her staff. I overheard her patronizing the staff, and acting unprofessionally. Will not be enrolling my kids here!
Taylor Cheslock: We LOVE coach Noelle, she helped ease our son into his independent lessons and is so patient and kind ❤️
Jill Verbruggen: Coach Sammi and coach Jordan are favorites in our household! All the coaches are compassionate and caring
Andrew Cooke: The instructors and staff are friendly and professional. My children have made great progress here.
canon T7i: Don't waste your money, they are not organized and I don't like going there anymore.
Jake Black: Excellent place to educate and teach your kids how to swim. Teachers are Great and are excellent! All children should learn to swim! You get a grading scale too! Awesome 👍
Zamira Hamza: They are the best😊!
tuan do: The kids come here for 3 months with 3 day/week but they can’t swim. The first month they studied 3 day but i have to pay full month and now when I can’t cancel the class because I have to tell them 30 days before.
Madison Suokas: In a matter of 4 classes (two weeks) my toddler has already grown tremendously in her swimming skills and is clearly more comfortable being in the water.
linda pouncy: you all are doing a great job.Thank you
Destiny Tate: No issues so far so good. I will say it is freezing when the kids get out the pool. Eva is my favorite instructor for my baby girl
Kimberly Thero: Very clean. Great staff and teachers.
Heather Choulagh: Customer service is terrible. Extremely unorganized and unhelpful.
Reham Haroun: Disrespectful people. Scheduled an Evaluation class two weeks ahead. They called me two days before to move my class to another date because they filled the class with more important people apparently. The general manager is extremely rude and lack basics of communication skills.
santhi srinivasa: My son was attending 2 classes per week & had many makeups available to use. We had to go on vacation for a month so I called aquatots to keep the account on hold and confirmed to charge for the month he returns & scheduled classes and they sent me a confirmation email for rescheduling. Now when I called they tell me to re enroll as they overbooked those spots by mistake. And the makeup classes I can use only if I pay $10 /month if I am not enrolling him back. @aquatots this is bad on your side you have overbooked and removed our schedule and trying to charge for those makeup classes which we paid already. You better stop cheating customers and correct your process & system
Mami Cle: This review is based on the customer service, ELIZABETH is the very least pleasant to deal with, it’s like talking to a wall, as a manager she needs to work on her customer relations skills! The staff at the front desk aren’t very welcoming, sometimes when you walk in, they might greet you if they aren’t gossiping amongst one another. One day AquaTots decided to call me within 15 minutes of my sons class and I was already 5 minutes away, my commute is a 35 minute drive, I was upset and I was not just going to accept an apology for the inconvenience cuz they hold the standard for customers to cancel at least within an hour but they can cancel within 15 minutes? No! I had to talk to two different managers and they finally refunded me for that class they canceled. I recently put in my 30-day notice, my last day to be April 22nd, the waiver signed says if there are 5 weeks in the month that a bonus class can be scheduled as long as the bonus class doesn’t fall on a day that they are closed! My bonus day should have been April 29th! But They emailed me telling me to reschedule April 15th since they are closed that Friday for Easter weekend, the date got pushed to April 29th, Elizabeth is trying to say that I got my bonus day because of that, which is not the case cuz my son only has 4 classes this month instead of 5 still! 4/15 was NOT my bonus day, it was a regular scheduled day that got canceled cuz of Easter. I’be emailed the owner, let’s see if the owner is any better than her/his staff.

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Farmington Hills: what do users think?
Kaylee Lewis: We are so grateful for the staff at Aqua Tots!! We did a flex pass for our daughter because she wanted to make a summer swim team and only had 1 month until try outs. They worked on her confidence first because she was scared of swimming without support. Within those 2 weeks she went from a scared level 4 swimmer to a confident level 7 shark!! We are so proud of her and now she’s on a swim team swimming everyday :) Thank you!!!! I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and friendliness, my daughter loved it there and so did we! Thank you for teaching our kids in the community such a valuable life skill, swimming is so important for all to learn. As a side note, flex pass definitely could use some kinks worked out. Most specifically, because she’s coming so often and quickly she constantly has new coaches. Better communication between the coaches on where she was at level-wise would be very helpful. No one knew when to level her up because they “weren’t her main coach” (she didn’t have a main coach!!).
dua jek: The school is great and accommodating, the instructors are good with kids, their app is very helpful in scheduling or communicating with them and most importantly, the kids love going there!
James & Raquel Timmons: like some other people mention here, our child was abrasively dunked under the water and neglected while other kids with more skill were given more attention and care. I don't have an issue with the method but the attitude and behavior of some instructors and especially management is just terrible... should have read the reviews before we came
chynne dixon: My kids love it here!
Rebeca Ionel: Blair and Camille were amazing instructors! Highly recommend them! They teach each child tailored to their needs.
Jichin C: Amazing instructors, friendly staff and clean facility.
THE SMITH FAMILY: The staff and owner here are notoriously rude and demeaning. You'll notice the very recent flood of 5-star reviews in an attempt to bury the truth of the negative ones, but don't be fooled! (Clearly they are offering some kind of deal or otherwise incentivizing people) Anyway, there is a severe lack of proper leadership, policy execution, courtesy, and swim knowledgeability at this location. If you want your kids to enjoy a safe and happy swim environment, you DO NOT want to bring them to AquaTots... this owner owns most of them anyway. My boys and I had not one but MULTIPLE experiences, all of which involved periodically brash lessons and always nasty employees. It's abundantly clear that safety and professionalism are not valued. You will regret bringing your children here and should you ignore the warnings from myself and others here, I encourage you to come back and share your poor experiences too so that others can be aware. Do it for your own family safety and sanity!
telia roquemore: My 3 year old has been going here for almost 2 years. She loves all her coaches! Everyone’s so friendly, knowledgeable, and I feel comfortable with my daughter being taught by any of the coaches. Also, the staff at the front desk is always very helpful especially Marisha. She has always gone out of their way to be accommodating with schedule changes and other things we’ve needed assistance with.
Lauren Critchett: We love Aqua Tots! They are the absolute best! So clean, fun, friendly!!
Christopher Farley: We have been welcomed into Aqua Tots since day one. Highly recommend bringing your kids here for a fun and educational class every time.
Samantha Haddad: My son was in 2 different swim schools prior to us starting at aqua tots over a year ago and we had no luck in getting him to like the water. Each class was a struggle. Once beginning aqua tots we had instant success! He absolutely loves it here. From front desk staff to the instructors we love everything about this program. He looks every week to his classes and to seeing Madison D and Marysia!
Scott Erison: Coach Camille and Madison D. Are both amazing. Without Madison D I'm not sure we would stay. Thank you for both of them.
Coriel Taylor: The team members are very friendly and care for my daughter. She’s learning and having fun
Mani M: We have been a member for the past 2-3 years. The staff are very helpful and supportive. Coaches are also great. Especial shout out to coaches Madison, Isis, Becks and all other coaches. Thanks to you my daughter is comfortably swimming and loves water.
T Alford: Noah is an excellent instructor, my son loves coming to swim. The staff at the front desk (Madison, Giselle, Marysia) are awesome and very helpful. They are very great at customer service and making families feel welcome. You
MarketPoint Software: Some of their teachers are good, others are outright abusive and neglectful toward children. Both of my kids felt fearful to return after their experience with one of the instructors. The management and owner are some of the worst I've encountered in my 40 years. Terrible experiences working them as noted by some of the other reviews here. Run don't walk to Goldfish or any other swim school.
Amber Rauhut: We love coach Crystal! Even when she has her hands full she does a great job. When we had our first class with her she did so well with my son (who is very picky with whom he trusts) that I immediately asked when she taught classes so I could make sure he stayed with her.The front desk staff are always nice and helpful!
Erica Clark: The staff is very friendly and swim instructors are great with small kids.
Valerie Chamberlain Holman: We love the teachers and the care they take. We also love the administrators who help us whenever we have scheduling issues. Best of all? My son is so happy in the water! He can't WAIT for his swim lessons!
doug jones: Our granddaughter has been going there for over 2 years now. Amazing people who work there! My wife came down with breast cancer 8 months ago and you would have thought they were family with all their well wishes and prayers. Granddaughter who is 5 now loves the water and we know if she was ever in a situation, she could get herself to safety.
Mukdam Kena: Before you register, I’d like to summarize the Pros and Cons for Aqua-Tots in general and Farmington in particular. I have two kids with 12 and 13 years old finished swimming lesson with them and I paid $390 /month for eight lessons per kids per month.Pros:1) The water is warm 90 fahrenheit.2) The swimming pool and all the area around was very clean.3) The reception people was very helpful.4) They gave some snacks when kids going to higher level. Encourage the kids to do better.5) They had few good trainer like Michael( she left Farmington) and Jameca is good too.6) There was a regon manager for Aqua-Tots and he was very helpful person and sometimes gave training to my kids and they enjoy it.Cons:1) The change schedual more than 70%-80% for many reason like chemical is high in water, kids throw up or trainer is off today for any reasons.2) The will gave you a make up days if they change the schedual but they don’t tell you that there is no offical trainer help them and it’s just going to waist time and money for these days. Remember,it’s 70-80% of your traning time.3) No report sent if it’s make up day. So when the trainer came back to schedule so he/she can’t see the achievement for my kids.4) The manager for Farmington is so rude and she didn’t gave the kids eight lessons/ month for thr month of October because we start at 10th not 1st of the month but she didn’t like that.5) Beside Michael and couple of trainer, the rest will be just wasting money so they don’t gave any benifit to my kids.6) last month they had 100% make up days for them becusse there was no trainer available. Before I decide to extend the register untill end of Novamber, they gave me a good schedule but once we get in the month and I paid the money, they force me to qccpet all the lessons in weekend and if I don’t accept it than you will lose your money. It was the last month.7) They will tell you if the month have 5 lesson in month the fifth will be free. But the reality they will find a way to shrink it to four only so you don’t get any free lesson. I had my kids for four months 8 lesson/ konth without any free lesson8) You need to read the report everytime because somtines they do zero achievement and that will be not make any sense so you need to monitor the report and the attendances, otherwise they will not gave you what they agreed to do.9) Don’t register your kids more than 4 lesson/month because they are not capable to gave you 8 lessons/ month with good trainer.10) After four lessons in level 8 the new trainer told my kids we need to start from beginning because they had meetings with thier management and they told them this plan is wrong and we need to start from the beginning so I’m not sure why I’m responsible to pay for four lessons with Zero value.11) in make up days, please pay attention to the trainer because some of them so rude and my kids didn’t like to continue with them so I was always ask to block them from the list so no longer can have a chance to train them.

Goldfish Swim School - Rochester: what do users think?
Vanessa Logan Wentzloff: We’ve been going here for over a year and love Goldfish! The classes are always great. Clean facilities and good pricing for the lessons.
Elaine Domingues da Silva: We love this school. The place and the staff are wonderful. Everything is perfect.
Pallavi Aluri: Teachers are very patient and point on in teaching everything for the level. They provide proper feedback for every class. I am very happy with gold fish and how they are helping my kid to progress
M Rod: I can't say enough about the wonderful staff at Goldfish Swim School in Rochester! My 4 y/o grandson has been dealing with a serious fear of swimming/open water for some time now and my daughter and I were really struggling to find a way to help him get past the fear. Well after explaining the dilemma to the staff they suggested and we tried a few different approaches until we finally had a breakthrough with his new instructor Ella. She is a miracle worker! Ella's teaching style, her demeanor and her overall approach to learning really connects her with the kids. The change in my grandson was almost overnight. The tears stopped and he really started to relax from the first class with her. I asked him what made Ella different and he said "She's really fun and plays games with us." Above all Ella has patience and is very kind even when the fear started to creep in she made my grandson feel safe. It was really hard to watch him struggle and because of the hard work of the Goldfish staff and Miss Ella he is conquering a fear and replacing it with fun memories and laughter. Thank you Ella from the bottom of our hearts❤️
Patti Berardi: My children excelled at learning how to swim at Goldfish. Working on specific techniques at each level helped them progress at a good pace. The staff is great and knows how to keep the kids engaged in the lesson. They really know how to keep learning fun! Thank you for all you do!
Jillian Pixley Crepeau: Our 3 year old looks forward to her lessons and is all smiles the entire time. We love the staff all around - instructors & lifeguards are super attentive and engaged. Front desk is helpful and kind! Our little fish is improving class over class and we love the open swim options.
Rasagnya Pendyala: The teachers here are amazing, very patient!
Gregory Karapetian: The best! Our experience at the Rochester Goldfish has been outstanding. The instructional staff were wonderful, the manager went above and beyond to be accommodating every time we requested something, the owner of this business clearly has it together. Over the years, my kids progressed through the entire curriculum, and as a parent, I did too; from peace of mind when they learned to reach the side of the pool safely, to confidence in their skills while cheering them on at the Swim Force meets! Goldfish Swim School is a fantastic program and deserves a 6th star if Google reviews would allow it!
Kalene Holman: We have had only positive experiences since starting in late Aug- early Sept. We enrolled both my kids here and both enjoy! We had tried the RCS enrichment swimming program and while it was nice to pay a smaller price, there’s a reason you do.The instructors here really seem to enjoy their job and know how to truly interact with the little ones.
Sarang Saurabh: My elder daughter learned swimming here and younger one just started going for it. Overall very satisfied with the way they teach kids.
Christopher Jolley: Goldfish Swim School Rochester (Michigan) is our family’s choice for the children’s swim development. After our middle son completed the entire curriculum (including a stint with rec swimming), Goldfish Rochester was the obvious choice for our third son. Goldfish Rochester’s strength is undoubtedly its personnel. Over the years we have experienced “consistency” when it comes to professional, knowledgeable, well-trained and courteous personnel. Goldfish Rochester is “Disney-like” in their focus on guest experience and process orientation. Their product extends well beyond swim lessons. It’s a charming, enthusiastic and engaging environment - an all around positive experience for the entire family. We highly recommend Goldfish Swim School Rochester for your child’s swimming development.
Anony Mousie: Xander loves swim class and Erica is THE best instructor!!!
Haunted Danelle: Too crowded cant see my child swimming classes are way to short.
M D: We are very unhappy with this school, they cancel classes often, during the month of Sept 2021 they cancelled 4 classes due to no teachers. They have a very young teaching staff that exudes inexperience with children. Last week a instructor had no idea what to do when my 5yr old was crying in class. She put her hands up and shook her head as she had 0 calming skills. As far as swimming skills, my kids have made no progress here. The inconsistentcy in instructors, lack of skills, my kids are not moving forward. I do not recommend this school, they charge approx 20 per class, but the level of instruction is subpar. Not acceptable. This location has gone downhill fast post pandemic. Im pulling both kids.
Matthew Peach: No matter your child's skill level the expert staff at goldfish is the best place to go for lessons. They are absolutely incredible with the children and students of all ages. They work with each person individually to make sure they're learning correctly. It's a wonderful program
Allie HARRIS-DIOUF: I would NOT recommend this location. The place has gone downhill post pandemic. Makeup classes are nearly impossible to book due to them no longer offering classes 7 days per week. We received one week’s notice that they would no longer be offering Wednesday classes. We were placed in a Saturday class (which was fine)but upon arrival yesterday, the class was overbooked. In expressing my frustration to management, I was basically told ‘at least I wasn’t sent home’ and that my concern was a ”mute point” since my daughter was shifted to a different lane. The manager was smug, sarcastic and condescending, informing me that her kids were also moved from a Wednesday class. Not once did she offer an apology for the inconvenience. This manager needs to take any and all service excellence classes that the company can offer. I understand that the staffing shortage is affecting every industry. However, being spoken to and dealt with in such a manner is a different issue and unacceptable. I am currently exploring other options.
Chandru Kumar: Goldfish Swim School have amazing instructors, taking great care of the kids while teaching. Always carrying smile on their face and very patient while teaching. The feedback at each and every class they are providing is excellent where I felt they are giving it in very detailed way and not for namesake. Environment is very clean and having ample space to accommodate everyone. At the reception, they are too good whenever we approach them, always try to help us however they can... We as the family love Goldfish, please keep up the good work.....
Nicole Devo: Well trained staff.
Lauren C: Very disappointing to learn that goldfish does not honor their “makeup” tokens when a child is un-enrolled in a class. I unfortunately had to cancel our sons classes and was more than willing to pay for the additional classes we would incur during the 30 day “cancelation notice” as I was told I would have one year to use up those “tokens”. A month later, I go to schedule a drop in class using one of our tokens, only to find out they expire the DAY your child is unenrolled. Goldfish did not honor the use of the three tokens despite the front desk staff telling me I had a year. I was offered one drop in class on a date that we were unavailable and the other two would be a wash.Save your time, go somewhere else.
Ryan Hegedus: Our 4-year old was pretty nervous about getting in the pool his first few times, but his teacher (Colette) made swimming fun and now he asks when the next class is! Would definitely recommend Goldfish to anyone with kids
Crystal Hindo: We love Goldfish! Instructors are super patient and caring w our kids!

Goldfish Swim School - Birmingham: what do users think?
J Paulateer: Great location off the beaten path!
Rachel Patterson: Every staff member is extremely helpful, polite and professional. The facility is always in top condition. Absolutely love swimming here!
mohammad mehdizadeh: Low quality of management.
Aubrey Macdonald: Our family LOVES it here!
sheair smith: I love the program and appreciate the teachers patience with the children!
R P Ramos Jr.: Awful place. Scheduling classes is nearly impossible because they have the laziest hours of any business. They even close down when kids are off from school so scheduling lessons during breaks is also impossible. They take 2 weeks off for Christmas and a week off for the 4th of July. When they do decide to work, classes are so full that kids swim for 5 minutes of a 30 minute class.I don’t even bother anymore…Id close my membership except they don’t return phone calls or email messages but are happy to charge the credit card you’re required to keep on fileSave yourself the headache and go somewhere else
Sara Duhaime: Taking my daughter to swim class is the highlight of my week. I get so excited for her whenever I see something click and it’s a great bonding activity for us as a family!
Aniket Patkar: - joined this for my 2 year old toddler- clean and big facility, separate spacious pools for toddlers and big kids- helpful and friendly teachers to show what techniques to learn from a toddler point of view. With songs and toys and slides, it's a whole fun show for the kids- clean showers and changing rooms too- plenty of parking space so you don't have to walk around a lot.Update Apr 30, 2022:Our son graduated to solo swimming class with just coaches. They are super friendly and he started learning new things right away!I Would highly recommend the swim school to my friends and family
Mercedes Dockery: This place is very unique to see. My children had bought a fish from here. We got the best customer service we could have. They taught us a lot about tending to one. An everything we needed to get and do. They have so many options not just fish wise but lawn wise holiday wise and so much more.! My family had a good time here seeing everything they have to buy. Im definitely going back again.! We love our new pet fish.!!!
Christopher Archer: It is very warm inside and the pool is heated. Great experience for the kids. My little guy had a blast ☺️
Samantha Power: Incredible swim school, best staff and safety is number one, so grateful for this place!
Diana Haigh: Highly recommend. Great instructors. My son is 4 now, and has been coming since he was a baby.
Jessie: Very friendly
Michael Higgins: Very friendly; staff was amazing with my daughter who was scared of the water at first. Definitely recommend.
Lauren Taylor: Fantastic environment for my children to flourish with their water safety and to enhance their swimming skills!
Lauren Reed-Gibson: I love GSS!!! The lady at the front desk sprays down the chairs in between classes, for the parents. They clean the changing rooms and restrooms after every use. The showers allowed for usage are far from each other. Masks are required!! Teachers have face shields in the pools! Dividers are placed in between then students, and floaters are sanitized after a child uses them! A wad full of awesomeness!!! My daughter loves her teacher Mr.Mike! He is very polite to the kids! Always smiling! He does an excellent job teaching! The lady at the front desk is always welcoming and ready to assist me when we come!!
K Bassett: Goldfish has a warm and welcoming environment that is very kid friendly. They keep the temperature way up so that the kids are always comfortable too. They have a process that they follow, and it appears as though the instructors are well trained, but the real gem, and reason for us being here is Jill. She is the manager. She is kind and professional and works hard to make sure they are doing what is best for the customers and for their own staff too! She is understanding, and will listen to you and provide answers to any questions you may have. She makes you feel comfortable and shows that she cares. We are so very thankful for her and for our kids learning how to be safe and comfortable in the water!
Morack Studios: Such a great swim school. Our daughter has learned so much in such a short amount of time. The school has done a great job for COVID regulations.
Brooke Murphey: We love everything about Goldfish!
Bobby Latson: Love it
Jordan Ingram: The Birmingham Goldfish is extremely clean, organized and well run. My kids look forward to their lesson every week. They love their instructors and the normalcy that goldfish provides in an abnormal COVID world. We have never questioned our safety or had any concerns during our visit. I would strongly recommend goldfish as an outlet, especially if you have a young family!!!
